Remove the Gulf Oil Drilling Moratorium!

Louisianans seem to be bipartisan, Republican Governor Bobby Jindal, Democrat James Carville, and now Lt. Governor Angelle in condemning the President’s deepwater drilling moratorium, which is killing the Gulf Coast economy. See a portion of Governor Jindal's speech at the same rally here.

“Enough is enough, and it’s time to quit punishing American workers to achieve some unrealistic political agenda…”

--- Democrat Lt. Gov. Scott Angelle, speaking before 11,000 in the Cajundome in Lafayette, La., 7/21/10

Hat tip goes to KatyinIndy who posted a link on Twitter to the following outstanding video of Lt. Governor Angelle’s impassioned no-holds-barred speech last Wednesday at the Rally for Economic Survival in Lafayette, Louisiana. It is refreshingly honest and inspiring! By the way, Vladimir on the RedState blog said this about the Lt. Governor, "Angelle is a true Endangered Species: a conservative, pro-business, pro-life Democrat." I didn't know there was such a thing, I though they were extinct with the retirement of Sen. Zell Miller!

.
Here are a couple of other meaningful quotes from Angelle's speech:
.

"While we, too, support the use of renewable alternative energy, let's keep the conversation real. America is not yet ready to get all of its fuel fronm the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees!"

"We believe our Creator requires us to manage ALL of our resources to improve the lives of all Americans."
