Forget About Amnesty Until We Secure the Dang Borders First!

 

The nasty Amnesty bill, S. 744,  is a major travesty. Its so-called border security provisions are a joke. The Democrats, Barack Obama, and his administration and even Congress has no will or intention of securing our borders. There are so many loopholes in this Amnesty bill that you can drive trainloads of illegal aliens and Islamic terrorists through it.

Our border continues to be porous since the last time we did amnesty in despite promises made and the laws enacted since 1986.

Any immigration reform should start with separate legislation dealing with the border. First secure the dang border. Then the government must demonstrate that it will enforce existing immigration law (which will be a mega challenge for the lawless Eric Holder and his injustice department) or Janet Napolitano's Homeland Security Department which is focused on American terrorist: Veterans and Tea Party Participants! Then and only then should there be any talk of any thing like amnesty for illegal alien criminals now residing in this country be discussed.

I didn't see anywhere in the leftist slanted/biased article which I read this afternoon on Alternet.org, No Winners When It Comes to Border Security, The militarization of the border has become not simply a means to an end, but the end itself, about American citizens and border agents being murdered. Illegal alien deaths are the only deaths that concern the author. The winners when it comes to border security, are the illegal alien criminals and the political crony capitalists and other Obama friends, and community organizing groups who will administer this awful travesty... The losers, as usual, America, her taxpayers, American workers, and people wanting to come to America legally!

A secure border, unlike in many socialist or Marxist states, is intended to keep people out, not imprisoning their own populations. The major duty of the national government is national security, having unsecured borders shows government's failure in this most rudimentary responsibility ... How can you trust them with healthcare, economy, or anything else?

Weighing in on the airport scanner controversy

The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch runs a regular feature in its newspaper identifying an important issue to the local community and asking for the vote of the readers on that particular issue along with any related comment. Occasionally I will respond and make a comment on the issue raised, as I did on today’s topic.

My Response:

Yes. We ought to profile suspected terrorists and question those who are not obviously Americans by birth or citizenship. We should model our security efforts after Israeli security measures. They do not seem to have the incidents we do. They use profiling. It is very foolish and expensive not to discreetly use profiling. I would choose profiling over being politically correct any day of the week!

HHS Secretary Napolitano is a national security risk

Jim Campbell of the FreeCanadaPress.com wrote an article, “Janet Napolitano is the wrong person for Secretary of Homeland Security,” which elaborates and supports the article that I just completed, “Hey, HHS Secretary Janet Napolitano: Scan This.” 

In Campbell's excellent article is an exceptional YouTube video of newly elected black conservative Congressman Allen West of Florida. Man, he tells it like it is. He will be a real leader in the upcoming 112^th Congress!

Here is an excerpt from the above mentioned article:

On November 10th, when the Council on American-Islamic Relations, (CAIR) issued a travel advisory that Muslim women may refuse the body scanners at airports because Muslim scholars have deemed that they violate Islamic law; it makes one wonder if the inmates are now in charge of the ‘Cuckoo’s Nest.’

Obama, Holder, Napolitano, Has Anyone Read the AZ Bill?

He continues, “Janet Napolitano tells John McCain (in testimony before a Senate committee that) she is aware of the AZ law but she had not read it. It's only 10 pages...

GeorgeKPatton adds, “3 days after AG Eric Holder admits to not reading law even though he has told everyone they’re gonna get harassed by police for no reason.”

“Napolitano … came out against the law with talks of having it overturned and says she wouldn't have signed it. But just like AG Eric Holder, she has not read it,” stated GeorgeKPatton.

He concludes, “Our leaders are hanging the states out to dry.”

One wonders how incompetent or how blinded by their socialist ideology this administration’s officials are. They are seemingly as inept, as they are dishonest. If his lackeys have not read the bill, I wonder, too, if the President has read it before advancing his misguided notions about the law in public.

Janet Napolitano Address the Council on Foreign Relations

Pro-lifers, states rights advocates, constitutionalists, those concerned about illegal immigration, Iraq war veterans and anyone expressing their support for Ron Paul, Bob Barr, or Chuck Baldwin… Look out!

“Rightwing Extremism” Policy Challenged in Court

In a recent post, I indicated that the appointment of Janet Napolitano was a reason why the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act are bad for Christians. While many conservatives supported these measures to combat terrorism, they are clearly violations of the 4th and 5th amendments which are now in fact being used against Christians. I didn’t specifically mention the “Rightwing Extremism” Policy which was recently instituted by Napolitano. An important development has now come to my attention regarding this. This is really serious.

Radio talkshow host Michael Savage, the Center for Bio-ethical Reform, its Execute Director Gregg Cunningham, and Iraq war veteran Kevin Murray have filed a lawsuit against Napolitano as well as Eric Holder, in their official capacities as Secretary of the DHS and Attorney General of the United States, respectively. The basis of the suit is that the “Rightwing Extremism” Policy unfairly targets those with particular views on various issues (including abortion, same-sex marriage, illegal immigration, and state and national sovereignty) by violating their 5th amendment right to equal protection under the law as well as the violation of the freedom of speech clause of the first amendment. They are even targeting war veterans just for being “disgruntled”. The “Rightwing Extremism” Policy explicitly states that one of its goals is deter “rightwing extremists” in various activities deemed dangerous by the Obama administration such as engaging in paramilitary exercises.

Click here to read the complaint. Please pray for the plaintiffs, their lawyer Robert J. Muise, and the rest of the Thomas More Law Center for their success in the case. Pray that they would conduct themselves in a respectful manner (Mr. Savage has a tendency to shoot off his mouth), that the hypocrisies of the Obama administration would be exposed (especially to Christians who still don’t get it). And above all, pray that God would be glorified in this matter.
