Ignoring or Condoning of Evil Must End

Did you know that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was a fan of eugenicist Margaret Sanger, the founder of the Planned ParentHOOD, and implemented much of her wicked philosophy on his attempt to purify the Arian race?

Today Planned ParentHOOD continues to follow in Sanger's wayward footsteps in its 665 so-called "clinics," which are abortuaries (killing chambers), throughout America. Sadly, in 2016 many on the political Left have sainted Sanger and now consider abortion a most sacred sacrament.  Satan has essentially blinded the eyes of those who ignore the horrors being perpetrated on the unborn and their unwitting mothers and fathers by the planned predator or pariah of the abortion industry.

Seeking Justice for the Unborn

Saving the unborn is the preeminent civil rights issue of our day. Bringing about the end of abortion is the ultimate social justice issue. A close second is preserving natural (one-man, one-woman) marriage and the family. These two issues are closely intertwined. A third social justice issue is preserving and protecting religious liberty. With the immoral and unconstitutional SCOTUS decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, it has opened the door to a full bodied assault on Christianity, Christians and traditional American values.

In contrast to the real social justice issues named above, are the popular or our current culture's perception of what are the important social issues. These are enumerated in the www.takepart.com article, "The 10 Social Issues Americans Talk Most About on Twitter." Here are the 10 secondary issues (compared to the three I pointed out above) most tweeted by Americans from the top issue in descending order: Jobs, Freedom from Discrimination, Education, Honest and Responsive Government, Political Freedom, Climate Change, Protection of Forests, Rivers and Oceans, Equality Between Men and Women, Reliable Energy at Home, and Transportation and Roads.

Elections Have Consequences

For me one of the chief criteria for supporting or electing any candidate in the 2016 election or any election for that matter, is their stance on the right to life for the unborn. If we have another socialist secular-humanist like the current occupier of the White House or a GOP-Democrat-lite like Bush, Christie or Kasich the unborn will continue not to matter, we will continue to see the marginalization and assault on marriage and the family, furthermore we will continue to observe the deterioration of religious liberty. Most assuredly we will witness the demise of America... 

Individual and National Revival is What is Needed Most

Electing the right candidate to congress and to the presidency is just a small part of what is needed to turn around this nation. A personal renewal in biblical faith and daily acting on that belief system is the key to the renewal or revival of America. It is the only thing that can restore America as a beacon of light and for good piercing this world's wickedness.  This individual revival can spark a national revival. It all starts with appreciating the fact that all lives matters, born and unborn, and acknowledging and accepting that Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith...

MURDER, UNINCORPORATED, PART ONE

The craft of murder starts

When did murder begin?

Jesus said that the devil was a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44b).

 “He was a murderer from the beginning.”

Was the devil created by God as a murderer? 

God says in His word that the one who is now the devil was created as a cherub and was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him (Ezekiel 28:14,15).  

          “Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”

When was the beginning?

Jesus said that at the beginning God made them male and female (Matthew 19:4).

“And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,”   

This means that the beginning was the creation of heaven and earth and all that is in it.

As Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”  This is then referring to the entire week of creation and the day God rested.  It is a summary statement at the beginning of the creation account.

In John 1:1 we read that the Word was in the beginning.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

This “was” means prior existence to the beginning.  In the same way Satan “was” a murderer from the beginning indicates him as being a murderer before the beginning, which is creation. 

In what way did Satan murder?

First, he wanted to be greater than God.  We read of this in Isaiah 14:12-15.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

 For thou hast said in thine heart,

I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:

I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

          I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;

          I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Secondly, he got a third of God’s angels to follow him in revolt against God (Revelation 12:4a).

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth;

These angels died spiritually and will eventually be thrown into the Lake Of  Fire.

Thirdly Satan got Adam and Eve to disobey God and thereby die.

          But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Genesis 2:17).  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die (Genesis 3:4):   And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6).

This one act of disobedience caused separation of Adam and Eve from God, which is to die spiritually.  They were turned from immortal to mortal and their bodies began to die.  Adam died 930 years later (Genesis 5:5).  As a result we are all born into this world separated from God.   We are then all sinners by this one act of disobedience and subject to death.  Have you noticed?  There are not too many people who do not die.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23).

Through the sinlessness, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, who is the Christ, God paid for the right to offer each human eternal life.

          For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

Each one of us can have eternal life by confessing to God of being a sinner (repentance) and inviting Jesus into ones heart.  A sample payer is “Lord Jesus Christ forgive me of my sin and come into my heart.”

How I Know Barack Hussein Obama is not a Christian, Part 4

This is the fourth in a series of articles offering evidence that our President is not a Christian, despite what he or anyone else may claim.

While running for the Presidency as a candidate, Barack Hussein Obama said that he would teach his girls what was proper but if his darling daughters made a ‘mistake’ he did not want them to be punished with a child or a sexually transmitted disease (STD). The implication was that an abortion would relieve the burden of an unwanted pregnancy, which he equates to an STD.

While in the state legislature in Illinois, Obama argued that those babies who were born alive, having survived an abortion attempt, should be allowed to die since the decision had already been made that they should die. Obama has surrounded himself with people who argue that a child is not a person until it is several years old. We can only believe that he is of the same mindset since he knows what they think and has appointed them to their positions. There are many clergy and church going people who believe abortion is acceptable.

One of the first things Barack Obama did when assuming office was to federally fund embryonic stem cell research. People who know nothing about Christianity and God’s word may consider that this is wonderful, but those who are Christians and know something about Christianity and God’s Word know that this is torture as well as murder.

God says in His Word, the Bible, that He hates the shedding of innocent blood and that it is an abomination to Him (Proverbs 6:17). Manasseh shed much innocent blood in Jerusalem (II Kings 2:16). So much so that God refused to forgive Judah for the sins they committed and brought Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon against Judah to destroy it (II Kings 34:3,4). Babylon was located where Iraq exists today.

God said to Israel, Do not let any of your children be burnt with fire for the idol Molech (Leviticus 18:21). God said that this is what the inhabitants of Canaan had done before them and the land was defiled (Leviticus 18:26,27). God promised that the land in which Israel was to live would spew them out of that land because their evil, if they did evil. They did do evil, and they were cast out of the land.

America, like Israel and Judah, has shed innocent blood (Psalms 106: 37, 38). They did it in the worship of Baal and Molech in sacrificing their children on altars to these pagan idols. We do it in worship to sex (Molech) and intellect (Baal). We call it abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and allowing an infant to die after a failed abortion.

God says, “You have taken your sons and your daughters, whom you have borne unto me, and these have you sacrificed unto idols to be devoured (Ezekiel 16:20). You have slain My children. You have given birth to them to cause them to pass through the fire for these idols (Ezekiel 16:21).” By virtue of creation every person is the property of God. God says: “Behold all souls are mine. As the soul of the father is mine so also is the soul of the son mine. The soul that sins, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4).” President Obama shows absolutely no God consciousness! He is acting contrary to God’s Word.

If you want God consciousness you must repent of your sins and invite Jesus into our heart, for salvation from the consequences of your sins (Luke 24:46-48). When Jesus comes into your heart, you are saved, forgiven, made a new creature by the Holy Spirit, given eternal life and that makes one a Christian (Revelation 3:20; II Corinthians 5:17; I John 5:10-12; Romans 8:9).

A sample prayer in order to become a child of God and to have a right relationship with Him, is, “Lord Jesus Christ come into my heart and forgive me of my sins.” If you choose any other ‘path’ to God, then you will perish in eternity. Rejection of God’s only provision results in endless torment by fire. Choose Jesus, He is THE only Good Choice . . . !

What a Creator, What a Creation!

“The heavens declare His righteousness …” (Psalm 97:6). Righteousness refers to a person’s uprightness or just moral character. So how can we see God’s moral correctness and justness by observing the heavens? Colonel Sanders said of the food chain he founded, “We do chicken right”. He did chicken so right that he was practically a billionaire when he died. Many agreed with their money by purchasing his “finger licken good” chicken. Righteousness then would be doing what you do correctly.

When we look at the heavens, we can see that it was done correctly for life to exist on earth. There are four basic forces: 1. Gravitation, 2.The strong nuclear force, 3. The weak nuclear force, and 4. Electromagnetism. Each of these forces have their set strengths and if they were different, either higher or lower, life could not exist.

The sun loses its mass at a rate of 4,000,000 tons of matter each second, while the earth receives 3/10,000,000,000 of this in energy for itself. If this energy was reduced by 5% the earth would freeze up and all those living on earth would die. The mass of the sun is 744 times the mass of all the planets with the sun having 98% of the total mass of the solar system. Gravity then holds the planets in place as they circle the sun.

The nuclear force is what holds the nucleus of the atom together which is made up of positively charged protons & sometimes neutrons and they repel other nuclei which are also positively charged. This force does not extend much of a distance, only a few trillionths of an inch. When the nuclei of several atoms are forced together a thermonuclear reaction takes place. If the force of gravity were less the sun would not shine since the hydrogen atom must be crushed and heated to 10,000,000 degrees Celsius for a thermonuclear reaction to take pace.

The electromagnetic force is the electrical force between the electron and the nucleus of the atom. The electron is negatively charged and orbits around the nucleus. This is where electricity comes from: the movement of electrons from atom to atom. There is a magnetic field surrounding a conductor having a flow of electrons, which is electricity. The earth has this magnetic shield around it protecting life on earth from the high energy particles coming from the sun.

The sun is 865,000 miles in diameter providing a stable source of light, heat, and energy to sustain life on earth. Some stars are 40 million to 600 million miles in diameter and would provide too much energy for life on earth. Other stars are only a few thousand miles in diameter and would not provide enough energy for life on earth.

The earth and the planets are on the same plane circling the sun on nearly circular orbits. The other planets provide protection for the earth against any asteroid coming into the solar system.

When you drive down the highway there is a smooth surface wide enough for you to drive and other vehicles as well. A center lane stripe is in the center on the road and stripes on the sides of the road. As you drive you know that this road was built to be driven on. In the same way as one observes creation it is evident to all that there is a Creator.

“The Lord created the heavens: He is the one who is God! He formed and made the earth: He made it firm and lasting. He did not make it a desolate waste, but a place for people to live. It is He who says, “I am the Lord, and there is no other god”” (Isaiah 45:18 TEV).

How I Know Barack Hussein Obama is not a Christian, Part 2

This is the second in a series of articles offering evidence that our President is not a Christian, despite what he or anyone else may claim.

While running for the Presidency as a candidate, Barack Hussein Obama proudly announced to a German audience and everyone else while speaking at Frankfort, Germany that he was, “a citizen of the world”. People who know nothing about Christianity may consider this an honorable statement. However, those who are Christians and do know something about Christianity, understand that this is a despicable statement.

Jesus told Nicodemus, “Truly, truly I say unto you. Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).” In fact it is being born again that makes a person a Christian! Nothing else! When a person is born-again they are transferred from the power or kingdom of darkness, whose ruler is Satan, into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (Col. 1:13). Make no mistake, the ruler of the world is Satan (John 14:30).

In going to church for twenty years, Barack Hussein Obama should have learned that whoever is a friend of the world is an enemy of God (James 4:4). “If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him (I John 2:15).” The Apostles were separated unto God from out of the world and were therefore no longer of the world (John 17:6). The world hated the Apostles because they were not of the world (John 17:14) nor is Jesus of this world. Jesus told Pilate that His kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36). When a person believes in Jesus, then they also are no longer of this world. The point is that a person cannot be a citizen of this world and at the same time also be a Christian.

The god of this world is Satan (II Cor. 4:4; Matt. 4:8-10). A citizen of this world has as their god, Satan, and not the true God. Jesus did not pray for the world, but He did pray for the Apostles and for those who would believe on Him through the word of the Apostles (John 17:9,20). Jesus said, “In this world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 16:33).” Anyone who would live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (II Tim. 3:16). Christians are strangers and sojourners in this world (Psalm 39: 12) and overcome it by their faith (I John 5:4, 5).

Perhaps you would rather be a Christian than be a citizen of this world, which is passing away (I John 2:17).

While running for the Presidency as a candidate, when Barack Hussein Obama was asked if he was a Christian, he said “yes, I go to church once a week”. People who know nothing about Christianity may consider this a good answer; but those who are Christians and know something about Christianity know that this is an inadequate statement.

Jesus told Nicodemus, “Truly, truly I say unto you. Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).” It is being born again that makes a person a Christian! Nothing else!

Hopefully, by going to church one learns that they are a sinner separated from God by virtue of Adam and Eve disobeying God in the Garden of Eden and eating of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They obtained this knowledge of good and evil, but lost their intimate relationship with God and transferred from the kingdom of God into the kingdom of Satan. Hence forth, all their descendents were born separated from God and living in the kingdom of Satan; this includes Barack Hussein Obama, and it means that each person is in need of a savior.

God so loved each and every person In the world, that He sent his only begotten Son into the world so that each and every person who believed on Jesus would have eternal life and not perish (John 3:16).

With God as His Father, He, Jesus, was conceived sinless. With Mary as His mother, He was human. He lived a sinless life fulfilling the whole law of God (Hebrews 4:15). Thus, He was worthy to represent all of mankind before God. As for being Devine He was able to take all the sins of all mankind in His own body and receive the wrath of God against himself and still survive (I Peter 2:24; Luke 24:1-8).

We must therefore repent of our sins and invite Jesus into our heart for salvation, to free us from the consequences of our sins (Luke 24:46-48). Jesus comes into our heart, we are saved, forgiven, made a new creature by the Holy Spirit, given eternal life and that is what makes us a Christian (Revelation 3:20; II Corinthians 5:17; I John 5:10-12; Romans 8:9).

You can be a Christian if you so desire by repenting of your sins, and inviting Jesus into your heart. A sample prayer is, “Lord Jesus Christ come into my heart and forgive me of my sins.” The alternative is to perish, which is to be tormented endlessly by fire.

To date, I have never heard Obama publicly confess Jesus as his Lord and Savior, but I do recall that he did have His statue covered (at Georgetown University) when he spoke in its presence.

Could Satan be your father?

Satan is written about in both the Koran and the Holy Bible. Do you know what relationship you have with him? Could he be your father?

THE KORANIC ACCOUNT

The only true religion in Allah’s eyes is Islam (Surah 3:19).

Notice: Allah shows no mercy for the offense of having a partner or associate attributed to Him; idolaters. He forgives whoever He will of all other offences. Those who claim that there are others equal to Him have strayed greatly into error (Surah 4:116).

Those people who choose Satan instead of Allah for a benefactor will suffer a great noticeable loss (Surah 4:119).

Satan makes promises and stirs up empty desires in his devotees. He makes numerous promises to them only to amusingly deceive them (Surah 4:120).

Prophet, make armed conflict against those who do not believe and those who pretend to be better than they are. Treat them cruelly. Their home is in hell and evil is their destiny (Surah (9:73).

... violently kill all the idolaters where ever you find them, ... (Surah 9:5).

Those who do not believe are those who say, Allah is the Christ, the son of Mary (Surah 5:72).
Those who do not believe say: “Allah is one of three” (Surah 5:73).

“He, who is sovereign over the heavens and the earth, Who has begotten no children, and Who has no partner in his sovereignty. He has created everything, and established it all in its proper place (Surah 25:2).

Declare: Allah, He is One: Eternal. On Him all depend. He begets no one, nor is He begotten. There is none like unto Him (Surah 112:1-4).

People say: “Allah has begotten a son.” Nonsense, He is self-sufficient. All that is in heaven and earth belongs to Him. You have no right to make such a statement. Do you speak against Allah what you know nothing about (Surah 10:68)?

COMMENTARY ON THE KORANIC ACCOUNT

According to Mohammad, believing that God is a trinity of persons is anathema to Islam, which according to the Koran is the only correct or true religion. Allah is pleased with no other.

Basic in the teaching of Islam is that god, Allah the Arabic word for God, is one person and definitely not a trinity of persons.

Christians and Jews are referred to in many derogatory ways: idolaters, infidels, unbelievers, and worthy of death. They are counted as enemies of Allah, Islam, and the ‘blessed’ Prophet.
According to the Koran, Allah has no children and most surely has not begotten any. There is no one else of equal stature. Allah does not pardon those who believe in the trinity.

Satan is a deceiver and people who believe his lies and follow him wind up destroyed.

Those who believe that Jesus is Allah (god) are to be murdered for hell is what they deserve according to the Koran.

THE BIBLICAL ACCOUNT

John 8:31-59
31,32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

COMMENTARY ON THE BIBLICAL ACCOUNT

Jesus makes the statement, “Before Abraham was, I AM.” This is direct reference to continuous prior existence to Abraham during the time he actually lived. “I AM” is the name of the One who told Moses to go to Pharaoh, and then delivered the Children of Israel out of Egypt. “I AM” drowned the Egyptian Army in the Red Sea. Jesus is identifying Himself to the people as that deity. The people realized this and took up stones to stone Him. Jesus claims to be Allah (God).

Jesus, who is the Son of man, claims to have a kingdom with angels at His command. He sows or plants His children, the children of the kingdom, into the world.

The enemy of Jesus sows his children into the world, also. This enemy is identified as the devil, who is, of course, Satan. Satan thus has children.

Jesus said that the Jews who wanted to kill him were of their father the devil. Jesus identifies the devil as a liar and a murder. His children, then, also desire to lie and murderer.

COMPARING & CONTRASTING THE KORAN WITH SCRIPTURE

Jesus identifies the children of Satan as being like him in that he murders and lies so they murder and lie. The Allah of the Koran calls for the murder of those who believe in the trinity and who believe that Jesus is Allah (God).

CONCLUSION

Could it be that those who believe in Islam are actually children of Satan and therefore without eternal life?

If you want eternal life you must believe that Jesus is God in flesh, that He received the wrath of God for your particular sins, and that He rose from the dead. You can repent of your sins right now and invite Jesus into your heart. A sample prayer is, “Lord Jesus Christ forgive me of my sins and come into my heart.”

ANAHEIM, CA (AP) "Episcopal Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori says it's "heresy" to believe that an individual can be saved through a sinner's prayer of repentance.

"In her opening address to the church's General Conference in California, Jefferts Schori called that "the great Western heresy: that we can be saved as individuals, that any of us alone can be in right relationship with God . . ."

We conservative Christians have been referred to as “special interests” and “terrorists” by our godless government. And now even a wayward mainline liberal denominational leader and blind Pharisee, Katharine Jefferts Schori, has accused us of being “heretics” because of our belief in the exclusivity of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that He, and only He, provides the way of escape from the wrath and ultimate judgment of God.

Yes, this false shepherd, herself a heretical minion of Satan, the great deceiver, has declared simple faith in Jesus to be heresy. What blasphemy, what pride, what arrogance, what foolishness this woman dressed in sheep’s clothing dares to declare.

In addition, six other bishop in this decadent and demon-driven denomination is urging the Episcopal church to adapt a set of deviant unbiblical same-sex ‘marriage’ rituals. This particular demonination, like many other so-called mainline protestant church organizations, which have lost its way, is no more Christian than the alleged occupier of the oval office, Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack Hussein Obama. Jesus said, “You shall know they are My disciples (true Christians) by their fruit.”

Sorry, Dr. Schori, you are dead wrong - spiritually and intellectually. Jesus Christ died to give us an opportunity, individually, to come to God and to be made whole, to be restored, to be justified, to be made right in His eyes. The movie, Passion of the Christ, portrays the sacrifice that God permitted His Son to endure, in order for all mankind to have this opportunity. God offers us eternal life, freedom from the power and penalty of sin, if but we confess our sins and sinful condition apart from Him and to acknowledge Jesus to be the only means, the only way to get to God. Most conclusively, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through Me." Dr. Schori, how much more clear can God make it for us?

Shining God’s Light on the Koran – the Key to Longevity

Do You Wish for Long Life? How Long?

Do you enjoy living? How long would you like to live? How about living 100 years, 1000 years, or forever?

The person that dwells in God is promised God’s protection and will be satisfied with long life (Psalm 91:1, 16).

COMMENTARY ON THE KORANIC ACCOUNT

If staying in heaven with Allah after life on earth is only for a few special people, like Christians and Jews to the exclusion of everyone else, then they should want to die. That is, if their claim is true. Yet, they show no desire to die.

Israel displeased Allah and the angels, so they have no desire for life after death, and they want to live long. Allah knows who does evil. No matter how long someone lives, they still must face Allah. The Jews love life more than others, even Christians who love life and worship many gods as the Koran clams. You can be sure they would like to live a thousand years. Myself, I wanted eternal life. Why settle for a measly thousand years, when the promise of God is life eternal.

THE KORANIC ACCOUNT

By the way: If the place to live with Allah after death is for you alone to the prohibition of all other people, then wish for death if your claim is true (Surah 2:94).

They (Israel) will never desire death because of what their own hands have done. Allah knows who it is that does evil (Surah 2:95).

You will surely find them (Jews) the greediest of all men for life; even loving life more than the polytheists (Christians). Each individual would love to live for a thousand years. Prolonged life would not keep them from the judgment, that comes from Allah for he is watching (Surah 2:96).

COMMENTARY ON THE BIBLICAL ACCOUNT

Abraham and Job both lived long, satisfying lives, as a blessing from God. God offers this to you. As Psalms says, “With long life I will satisfy him”. This is available to anyone. God would like to satisfy you with long life.

A time is coming when people will live as long as the trees. In the United States there are trees several thousands of years old. Scripture says a child will die at 100 and will be thought of as evil for dying so young. Today 100 years is considered old for a person. Death is not what God wants for anyone. Yet, death occurs because of man’s disobedience to God.

Death is the enemy of God and will one day, itself, be sent to the Lake of Fire to burn forever in torment. A person who loves death is in love with the enemy of God. A person who hates the wisdom of God is in love with death. It could be said another way. The person who loves death hates the wisdom of God. What about you; who do you love?

Christians are ambassadors for Jesus Christ here on earth, reconciling people to God. They have a work to do for God here on the earth. There is no reason for them to wish for death. Christians desire life for themselves and for others.

Jesus said, “Teach in all of the nations: people to observe all that He had commanded.” God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Are you among the living or are you spiritually dead?

THE BIBLICAL ACCOUNT

Exodus 20:12 Long life on earth a blessing from God.
Ex 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Ephesians 6:1-3
Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

COMPARING & CONTRASTING THE KORAN WITH SCRIPTURE

Why should those who know they are going to heaven to be with God desire death? Should they not rather desire to fulfill God’s will for their lives here on earth? Isn’t the Koran tempting God in saying that those who know for sure they are going to heaven after death should then desire death? Death is not what God desires for people.

The Koran says that people who do not want to die want to live for 1,000 years. A thousand years seems like a long time but once it is over, what then. God’s promise of eternal life is most desirable.

CONCLUSION

Perhaps you, like the Children of Israel, have sinned against God. Do you wish to die? God is still willing to accept you, imperfect as you are. It was through the lineage of the Children of Israel that Jesus came to earth. You must believe that He is God in flesh: sinless. You must believe that He lived a perfect life and took the sins of the world in His own body on the cross, and received the wrath of God against those sins. If you desire eternal life as I did years ago, you can pray and invite Jesus into your heart. A sample prayer is, “Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me of my sins, and come into my heart.” God promises through His inspired Word, the Bible, “Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Should Someone Wish for Death?

If a person is sure they will go to heaven when they die, then why bother living life here on earth? Why not hope to die, so you can go to heaven and be with God free of all the difficulties of life on earth? Have you ever hoped you would die? There are thousands of people of every age, who commit suicide every year. Have you ever thought that death was better than life? There are many Muslims who kill themselves and others thinking they will be accepted into Paradise as martyrs. Why don’t Christians and Jews do this? Do you love death?

HOW ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE?

“But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” - - - Jesus in John 10:26-28

The Koran makes the statement that if Heaven is only for a certain few, Christians & Jews, then, logically, they should desire death. However, it is exclusively through Jesus Christ, that God offers to people, eternal life. Easter is the day Christians celebrate Jesus rising from the dead. Some day He will return to take His people away and their bodies will be changed like unto His body. Their bodies will be immortal.

When God’s people dwell together in unity, it is like being in paradise. God gives His people life everlasting. When one knows God, why would one wish to die? Enjoy life.

CONCLUSION

Did you, or do you, ever wish or hope to die? God is still willing to accept you, imperfect as you are. It was through the Children of Israel, that Jesus came to earth. True Christianity is unique. Only one "religion" is true. Jesus claimed, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to (God the) Father except through Me.” I would say that was unique claim. Jesus is the Savior. There is salvation in no other name, than that of Jesus. He holds the only key to heaven.

President Barry Soetoro (a/k/a Barack Obama) has been made out to be some sort of a “messiah” by the opposition media (ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, NY Times, PBS etc.), but in the end and at best all he is a warmed over Jimmy Carter.

Yet and still, because the effectiveness of the opposition media a large number of Americans, according to a new Harris Poll, have President Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) beating out Jesus as an American 'hero.' This was reported by WorldNetDaily.com.

When Americans were asked whom they admired enough to call their No. 1 hero, the majority of respondents answered "President (Soetoro a/k/a ) Obama." In the new online Harris poll, citizens chose Jesus Christ as No. 2, followed by Martin Luther King. Others in the top ten, in descending order, were Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Abraham Lincoln, John McCain, John F. Kennedy, Chesley Sullenberger and Mother Teresa, according to Harris Interactive.

That Harris poll is a sad testmony as to the current state of affairs of our culture. We are in very sad shape, indeed, when an inexperienced and unaccomplished Chicago political hack 'bests' the Savior of the universe in anything. It is a shameful condemnation of American society. Although shocking, it is just another indication of how far this society and culture has sunk. God help us all.

Pilgrim’s Progress (2008)

Here is a brief description of the movie, Pilgrim's Progress, Journey to Heaven, followed by a few of my comments. I saw this movie last night at a church. “Pilgrim's Progress, Journey to Heaven is a modern adaptation of John Bunyon's beloved classic tale. Amazing visual effects, beautiful locations and a wonderful cast bring to life the story that has inspired each generation for hundreds of years. Follow Christian and his companions on the great journey from the City of Destruction to the gates of Heaven. Along the way, the pilgrims face obstacles large and small, man-made and demon-spawned. Beyond the gripping drama, Bunyon's powerful allegory teaches us the hazards and hopes of the Christian life, and the triumphant glory that awaits all who faithfully follow the King of Kings!”

There was a man who was asleep in bed one night and he had a dream. He dreamt his name was Christian living in a city called Destruction and had visions of the entire city being destroyed by fire. Reading the Holy Bible Christian learned he was a sinner and he and his family were doomed. He carried a huge load of sin on his back which he wanted to get rid of somehow. An evangelist told Christian of a Celestial City but he had to walk the correct path and enter through the door to get there.

The film was Biblically sound. One is saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus being the door. Jesus took the load of sin from off Christian’s back and gave him a sealed document of purchase. This document, he had to have to be allowed entrance into the Celestial City. That, of course, would be the Holy Spirit, who is the seal of salvation.

Christian met many people on the path to the Celestial City, those people got off the path and perished. When Christian, himself, got off the path and onto the wrong path, he met the fate of the path. Time after time he was rescued in some supernatural way, while others were not. I suspect the reason for this is that he was owned by God, while the others were not. Christian was shown several shortcuts to hell.

Christian and his fellow pilgrims reached the Celestial City and were allowed entrance. Faithful, another character, got their first. He was burned alive in the city of Vanity Fair, whose ruler was Beelzebub. That city, Vanity Fair, appears to be America today.

Another person, who did not travel with Christian, arrived at the entrance to the Celestial City. This person did not go through the door to the path and did not have a sealed document. This path or way to heaven proved to actually be the fastest way to hell. There actually is a an alternative to the Celestial City for those who choose to do and to go their own way and not God’s way.

God’s Verbal Interaction with Man, Part Seven

Moses and the Congregation

In the Koran, Allah is said to not directly verbally communicate with mankind. In the Holy Bible, however, God is said to have verbally communicated with several men. I would like to consider them in this series and one in particular in this writing: Moses and the Congregation of Israel.

THE KORANIC ACCOUNT

It is beneath the dignity of Allah to condescend to speak to a mortal with the exception of disclosing information or from behind a covering hidden from view or by dispatching a messenger who reveals with His permission what He pleases; certainly He is Exalted and exercises good judgment (Surah 42:51).

Allah made direct contact with Moses when speaking to him (Surah 4:164).

There is no comprehension of Allah’s character among those who say that Allah has never revealed anything to any mortal human (Surah 6:91).

Children of Israel, recall the approval and support I (Allah) have given you and raised you in status and dignity above all the other nations of the earth (Surah 2:47).

The Christ, son of Mary, was only a servant who carried messages; servants like him had died before him. His mother was a devout woman. They both ate food from the earth (Surah 5:75).

Say: Praise be to Allah! He has not begotten a son nor has he a partner in the kingdom. He has no helper due to any weakness. Proclaim Allah’s greatness, exalt him (Surah 17:111).

COMMENTARY ON THE KORANIC ACCOUNT

According to the Koran, Allah does not lower himself to speak directly to mortals. He may reveal something of new significance to someone but not usually. He will hide himself behind a sheet or send a messenger to deliver the message he wants to send people. Such as when Gabriel was sent to speak to Muhammad in order to reveal Allah’s word to him.

The Koran contradicts itself when it says that Allah does not speak openly to mortals. Then it says that Allah spoke directly to Moses. Moses was a mortal who Allah spoke to without something between them.

The fact that Israel exists today and has defeated all of its neighbors in war should be proof to them that Israel is in fact exalted by Allah over them. This is a revelation of Allah’s power and Himself whether they realize it or not.

According to the commentary on the Koran by Maulana Muhammad Ali in his translation of The Holy Qur’an he writes that, being hungry and the eating of food reveals that both Jesus and his mother were common mortals. Everything alive needs food for nourishment; the Supreme Being alone has no need of food. Since Jesus is clearly portrayed as having eaten food while alive, it would not be possible for Jesus to remain alive without food. Surah 5:75 shows that Jesus is not still alive (The Holy Qur’an page 271). This is in direct conflict with the Koran where it says that Jesus was not crucified but Allah caught Jesus up or exalted him in the divine presence (Surah 4:157,158).

In Turin, Italy there is a burial shroud with the superimposed picture of a man who had been beaten and then crucified with his blood all over the shroud. The blood has never decayed. This my friend is the sign of Deity for the whole world to see. On the Day of Judgment it will witness against all who will not believe in Jesus as divine.

The Koran clearly states that Allah has neither son nor a helper due to weakness. When is having a son a sign of weakness?” Isn’t having a son a sign of strength? If Allah does not have a helper due to weakness could he have one due to strength? What is Gabriel to Allah if not a helper? Yet he is a created being and not deity. Is not the Holy Spirit in the Koran part deity and part angelic (Surah 19:14)” What, then, is so wrong with the Son and Holy Spirit being each totally God equal with God the Father and comprising one God?

BIBLICAL ACCOUNT

And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp. And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle. And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses. And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle (Exodus 33:7-11).

And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, (Deuteronomy 34:10).

The Lord your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you (Israel), of your brethren, like unto me (Moses); unto him you shall hearken; (Deuteronomy 18:15).

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead (Matthew 17:1-9).

All things are delivered to me (Jesus) of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him (Luke 10:22).

COMMENTARY ON THE BIBLICAL ACCOUNT

On the journey in the wilderness God came down in a pillar of a cloud and spoke face to face with Moses in the presence of the congregation of Israel. Moses represented the people before God. The meeting of Moses with God was not obscure but public.

There was to arise from the congregation of Israel another who spoke face to face with God. This is shown by the Biblical comment that there arose not another prophet like unto Moses in Israel who knew the Lord face to face.

The other prophet who arose from the congregation of Israel who knew the Lord face to face was Jesus. God the Father witnessed that Jesus was His Son to Peter, James, and John on the Mount of Transfiguration. He even said that they were to listen to Jesus. This is what Moses had said many years earlier: “To Him you will hearken.” In being the Son of God, Jesus had prior existence as God before birth; He had of course spoken with God face to face at that time.

Jesus said, “No man knows the Father but the Son and no man knows the Son but the Father.” This shows an exclusive intimate relationship between the Father and the Son. “The Father reveals to people the Son and the Son reveals to people the Father.” This means that for a correct knowledge and understanding of God; Divine revelation is needed. The Holy Bible is that Divine revelation and the Holy Spirit has to instruct us.

COMPARING & CONTRASTING THE KORAN WITH SCRIPTURE

In the Koran we read that Allah does not directly communicate with humans even though it does admit that Allah communicated with Moses. What the Koran seems to leave out is some of the details like communicating with the entire congregation of Israel. Allah is said to have honored Israel above all the other nations. What other nation has ever had God speak to them all at one time as Israel has. This is indeed a great honor. No other nation will ever match it. Ever!

The Koran claims that Jesus is not the Son of God, yet in the Holy Bible God the Father claimed that Jesus is His Son in the presence of witnesses; Peter, James, and John. Moses and Elisha, who had died many years earlier, were also their speaking to Jesus.

God appears to be quite intimate with the human race.

CONCLUSION

Which God would you prefer to serve: the one who will not humble himself to meet with mortal man, or the One who is humble enough Himself to meet with mortal man?

God so loved people, you and me, that he sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Wouldn’t you rather have everlasting life than to perish?
