America is in the midst of a raging cultural and spiritual war. Forces of Good, Light, Conservatism and a Judeo-Christian Worldview daily battle the forces of Evil, Darkness, Socialism, False Religions and Philosophies. A Good Choice is on the frontlines exposing evil across America’s political and social spectrum.

Hat tip goes to Newsmax Magazine, where I say the following quote in an article titled, "Libertarian Talk Scores A Timeslot on Fox TV.
"The American public needs to know and understand, the government serves you better when it serves you less." - JudgeAndrew Napolitano, Fox News
For some reason that quote made me think of Miller Lite's slogan, "More taste, less filling." I adapted that slogan for what defines good government: "Less government, less waste." - gregjaye
If you listen closely, you can hear Sarah say "lame stream media". This is really weird hearing them talk about unity among libertarians and conservatives. Its like as if the wars are something that we can just agree to disagree on. But interesting that Dana Rohrbacher says that most Republican congressmen believe that the war in Iraq was a mistake, but yet they aren't doing anything to bring the troops home. Still trying to "save face", I guess. And they didn't say anything about Ron's recent vote to repeal don't ask, don't tell. If they asked Rand that question, he would probably say, "Well, that's an issue that I disagree with my dad...", but what does he really believe? How will he vote if it comes up? And they didn't say anything about gambling, prostitution, porn, or needle exchange programs either. Bet Rand would really squirm on those things, but if he was smart he would just say that these things should be left up to the states.
If you have any doubts that the Patriot Act is unconstitutional, this video will clear up those doubts! The Patriots Act makes it illegal to tell the TRUTH! This is on the same order as the Sedition Acts of Adams, Lincoln, Wilson, and FDR and the McCarthy era. The First Amendment is gone folks!
Contact your congressmen and tell them to not to vote for the renewal of the Patriot Act! There is nothing patriotic about it!
I was not surprised, but still disappointed with the meager media coverage of this landmark event, the all-Ohio LiberTEA Party held on Saturday. There were THOUSANDS of patriots present. A major speaker was featured, Judge Andrew Napolitano of Fox News. See a portion of his speech at the bottom of this article.
For example, while the local liberal yellow journal, also called the Columbus Dispatch, on its “A Taxing Issue” photo layout of the issue, manipulated the TEA Party protest into merely an anti-tax event and marginalized it as just one side (the wrong one) of the local tax issue. You see the City of Columbus has an income tax ballot issue coming up tomorrow. Interestingly and very revealing the first three photos in the 9 photo slideshow cover the TEA Party. Again, this is an event where 7-10 THOUSAND people from all over the state gave up their Saturday afternoons to make the trip to an otherwise dead downtown. On the other hand, a few hundred local door-to-door ballot issue pushers where given a 6 photos (100% more coverage) to cover their sorry story. To me that is pushing a certain agenda and not reporting the news objectively or fairly, the complete story did not get told. Another example is the only news story I could find was on WTBN TV10, a CBS affiliate, spent approximately 2 ½ minutes covering Issue One (the local income tax issue) and the campaign to pass the income tax, while less than 2 minutes were given to the massive grassroots pro-limited government, pro-liberty, pro-sovereignty, pro-American rally that occurred on the west lawn of the Statehouse.
Below are photos and a video that, I think capture the magnitude of the multitude meeting to express their outrage not only over the taxes, but loss of state sovereignty (which, by the way, was one of the main reasons for the rally) loss of individual freedoms, growth of big government, and the doubling of the deficit by the current administration and Congress in just six months.
The above 3 photos were taken by Shari Lewis, Columbus Dispatch
No matter if the media tries to ignore, minimize, even deceive its audiance about the growing Tea Party Movement, it will continue to gain momentum. Americans are unhappy with the direction and policies President Soetoro a/k/a Obama, Reid and Pelosi are advancing. We must make our voices heard, as many of the speakers mentioned the August recess is an excellent time to tell our representatives and Senators what we think about Socialized Medicine (ObamaCare) and Cap and Trade . . .
Ohio LiberTEA Party! Sat. 8/1/09, 2 PM, The Statehouse, Columbus
On August 1st, citizens from across the state of Ohio will converge on the State House in Columbus for the first state-wide Ohio Tea Party. The Ohio Tea Party will focus on promoting and initiating local action and Constitutional solutions to problems.
What can you expect from the Ohio Tea Party? The Ohio Tea Party will focus on principles over politics. You will hear from citizens from our communities about why they are concerned about the direction of America. But more importantly you will hear about how local action, constitutional principles, and state sovereignty (10th amendment movement) offer real solutions, and what we can all do to get involved.
Who is organizing this? A collection of non-partisan Ohio grassroots organizations have come together as the Ohio Liberty Council to organize this rally. The Ohio Liberty Council includes leadership representation from existing tea party groups like Cincinnati and Columbus, 912 Groups, Americans for Prosperity, OhioFreeState.com, and the Ohio Freedom Alliance. All our groups agree that we have let politicians take our country in the wrong direction for way too long, and we want to get back to the founding principles that made our country great, freedom and liberty.
LiberTEA is brewing again in Ohio. So save the date and plan to join us in Columbus to show your support for the great American principles of freedom and liberty!
Guest Speaker: Judge Napolitano!
The Judge will be speaking at the Ohio LiberTEA Party at the Columbus Statehouse Aug 1. This rally will focus on supporting the constitution and specifically state sovereignty.
