Alabama and America need Moore

I received a message this morning from a Facebook friend and the following post is based on that message. The election that is going on today in the state of Alabama is the most important election for a United States Senate to take place in the history of this country. Alabamans will determine the course of the future of America today. 

The embattled Judge Roy Moore has to defeat not only many false or unsubstantiated accusations against his character, but also his Democrat opponent, write-in candidate(s), the GOP-elite of his own party, entrenched political Swamp Dwellers like Alabama's own U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (RINO-AL), Karl Rove and a whole host of other outside pro-immigration lobbyists, and Political Action Committees (PACs) the main stream media including even Fox News, conservatives like Eric Erickson, and even fellow "Christians leaders" like Southern Baptist Russell Moore, and some public opinion polls.

The odds are great, as they were also great against President Trump in November. But there is a lot at stake in this election.

TWO PATHS

Today Alabamans are going to the polls to vote for fill a critical United States Senate seat left vacant by the appointment of Jeff Sessions as the nation’s Attorney General. Please PRAY for Judge Roy Moore. He is the man that President Donald J. Trump needs to help him to #DrainTheSwamp. We may not be Alabamans, but whoever emerges as victor in this key election will impact each of our lives on a federal level.

What is at stake in this election are one of two choices or directions - for the State of Alabama, and more important the Nation of America - to go:

JUDGE ROY MOORE

One candidate wants to implement all of President Trump’s policies upon which he campaigned and was elected, including: 

·       appointing conservative judges to the Supreme Court,

·       building the border wall and strong enforcement of immigration laws,

·       supporting sanctity of human life,

·       supporting traditional marriage,

·       less taxation,

·       abolishing of the failed Common Care educational approach and standards,

·       encouraging economic development and jobs,

·       strengthening the military

… to make America great again.

DEMOCRAT DOUG JONES

Judge Moore’s opponent, on the other hand, would continue to pursue the diabolical Marxist policies of Barack Obama and the failed Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton, who was defeated by President Trump in November. Does Alabama and America want to see

·       the appointment of another Ginsberg or Kennedy to the Supreme Court,

·       more unrestricted wholesale killing of unborn human beings,

·       continued open borders and lax enforcement of immigration laws,

·       protection and promulgating of sexual perversions of all sort including homosexuality, transgenderism and pedophilia,

·       more taxation,

·       continue the failed Common Core educational philosophy and standards,

·       economic decline and increase in the welfare,

·       weakening of our military

… in other words, does Alabamans and Americans want to see the continued fundamental transformation of America into a socialist state, which has been occurring the last several decades?

A RECKONING  

I believe that the choice is clear. Alabama and America want Moore, more life, more liberty and more greatness. I believe the majority of BOTH Alabamans and Americans want to see America Great Again.

Roy Moore for U.S. Senate

Roy Moore was removed from the Alabama Supreme Court for displaying the Ten Commandments several years ago.  But he was re-elected as Chief Justice.  More recently he was suspended for not going along with same-sex marriage.  So he has decided to run for U.S. Senate.  This man is a proven statesman and a genuine Christian.  While other so called Christian politicians compromise for the sake of advancing their own political careers, Roy Moore has consistently support Christian values throughout his career even in the face of persecution from activist federal judges and wicked organizations like the ACLU.  See his campaign website. 

Alabama Supreme Court doubles down on Personhood

Last Friday, the Alabama Supreme Court issued a ruling that reaffirmed the state's protections against chemical endangerment "for all persons--born and unborn." This is a major victory for the Personhod cause around the country, as the legal framework of abortion begins to crumble.
The case centered on Sarah Janie Hicks, who knowingly used dangerous and illegal drugs while pregnant. When the baby was born, the child tested positive for high levels of drugs and Hicks was charged with violating Alabama's chemical endangerment statute.
Pro-abortion lawyers argued that the term "child" in Alabama law excludes the unborn, but the Alabama Supreme Court rejected that reasoning and doubled down on their pro-personhood Ankrom v. State decision from last year. They upheld Hicks's conviction in an 8-1 decision.
Chief Justice Roy Moore's concurring opinion was especially dazzling, written especially "to emphasize that the inalienable right to life is a gift of God that civil government must secure for all persons--born and unborn."
"Under the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment," Moore wrote, "states have an obligation to provide to unborn children at any stage of their development the same legal protection from injury and death they provide to persons already born."
Chief Justice Moore then recites a litany of legal, historical, and scriptural precedents that "attest to the sanctity and personhood of unborn life" in order to support the court's conclusion.
The Alabama Supreme Court's decision to reaffirm their pro-personhood rulings marks significant progress toward full protection of the unborn. Child abuse and endangerment inside the womb can be just as dangerous as outside the womb. 
Yet unhinged abortion advocates from Planned Parenthood think that there are no cases in which a woman should be prosecuted for endangering her child in the womb and that any protection of unborn children violates a woman's right to choose whether to do hard drugs or not while pregnant.
The reality is that mothers and their unborn children must both be cared for and protected. Interventions to help women with drug addictions are essential to protecting both lives. But demonstrating reckless disregard for an unborn child through persistent and intentional drug abuse ought not be tolerated in a civilized society. As the Alabama high court points out, if the law turned a blind eye to such cases, it would deny equal protection to children who deserve to develop in a drug-free environment.

I didn't even know that Roy Moore was back on the Alabama SC.  There was no need to cite the so-called 14th Amendment, but wow, this is awesome.  Don't let anyone tell you that it can't be done.  Any President who does not nominate Roy Moore for the U.S. Supreme Court is not a real social conservative.

The former (and unrightfully ousted) Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court is again running for Governor of Alabama. I don’t agree with everything he says (that Muslims should not be allowed to serve as U.S. Representatives), but I think he really belongs on the U.S. Supreme Court, if you ask me. He is a classic, uncompromising, traditional, religious-right conservative running on a states rights, moral values, and small government platform. If you don’t remember the “Ten Commandments Case” in which Judge Moore was removed from his judgeship for refusing to remove a religious display, you must see the video at the link below. Even if you remember it, but haven’t seen the clip of Moore’s testimony you should watch it.

The case against Moore was based on several faulty assumptions. First of all the First Amendment concerns only laws passed by Congress. Even if you consider the first amendment to be properly incorporated into the 14^th *(thereby making applicable to the states), it still doesn’t apply in this case because NO LAW WAS PASSED. The ridiculousness of the broadness of interpretation of the Establishment Clause goes without saying as in all other such cases.

If Roy Moore gets elected, you will get one tough hombre who will not back down from a fight. You will get someone who will stand up for what is right.

*Good intentions notwithstanding, it is ridiculous to consider the 14^th amendment as a legitimate part of our Constitution since the Union army forced the southern legislatures to ratify it at gunpoint and refused allow its representatives and senators to sit in Congress until they did. If the Southern states never legally seceded as Lincoln maintained, then this is a clear violation of Article V and several other parts of the Constitution. If they did legally secede, then the Congress and the President clearly had no Constitutional authority to force them back into the United States.

T.D. sent me an email today regarding American hero Judge Roy Moore. As you may recall, Judge Moore was sued by the notorious and nefarious American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. The former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice stood his ground on principle and refused to obey man rather than God and would not remove the Ten Commandment plaque from his Alabama Supreme Courtroom wall. He was subsequently stripped of his judgeship, and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama.

Above is a picture of Judge Moore today. Below is his tortuous but true assessment of America right now, which Judge Moore captures in the form of a poem. This poem really tells it like it is. I provided a title for this poem. Thanks T.D. for this update.
