Federal Bullying is a Three Letter Acronym and a Four Letter Word

In a discussion of the very leftist Alternate.org's article titled, “IRS, DOJ, SEC: Three-Letter Abbreviations For ‘Federal Bully’ Public entities act like playground bullies targeting journalists and whistleblowers,” commenters added the CIA, FBI, HS, NIS, NSA to the list of federal bullies. I added the DHS (Department of Homeland Security), HHS and the EPA.

I argued that Environmental Extremists who are now in control in the EPA and the White House are doing a bang up job of retarding or destroying the economy. The current occupier of the White House constantly calls for a balanced approach on the budget.

How about taking a balanced, reasonable approach to the environment? No right-minded conservative wants to destroy the environment.

How about starting with abandoning the false, unproven unscientific unproven notion of man-caused global warming nonsense? There is a whole industry and an academia dependent on this hoax. Fraudulent Al Gore and those who blindly follow his preposterous pronouncements are deceived.

One commenter, Pope Pisius, remarked to me:

Yes, I forgot. The likes of you reside in that world where up is down, in is out, black is white, war is peace, etc. etc.

To which I made this final comment for the evening:

And what does the Left. of which a big component are the environmental extremists, consider what is

GOOD

(morality,

traditional marriage,

worship of God,

creationism,

free enterprise)

to be evil,

and consider what is

EVIL

(abortion - the killing of innocent human beings for convenience sake,

worship of the god Gaia - or nature,

homosexuality - the wholly unnatural, unhealthy and immoral behavior and lifestyle,

evolution – the unproven unscientific theory perpetrated and promoted as fact, and

Islam - the anti-American, anti-Democratic, intolerant, woman-abusing political, militaristic, religious philosophy)

it considers to be good.

You, my friend, are the one who has an upside down way of looking at things...

Controlling Tragedies Like Newton, CT

I saw the above quote on twitter this morning. It's an answer to the American Leftists, like the President, who will predictably pounce on this crisis  and catastrophe in Newton, CT to push more of their socialist and secular agenda, namely taking guns out of the hands of all Americans.

HOW DO WE PREVENT THESE TRAGEDIES?

If someone was armed at the Newton elementary school like the principal, then lives may have been saved.

Actually, it is not the gun, man, it's not the gun. It's the basic nature of man. In and of himself or herself man is a basically depraved being. Collectively it is our increasingly corrupt culture that nourishes such violence as we see in the elementary school in Newton.

The only meaningful start to an answer is a return to a fundamental respect for life, and letting God and the teaching of moral absolutes (like the 10 commandments) back in our public education system. Without it we are doomed to see Columbine, Aurora, and Newton repeated over and over again ...

God and the Bible were expunged from the schools in the sixties and replaced by the repugnant secular humanism religion. God and the Bible are not a religion. There is no such thing in our Constitution as separation of church (or God) and state. It is a contrived notion of leftist activist judges who finagled it through the courts.

We must begin to purge the secular humanist religion from our schools and weaken its influence and grip on our culture.

THE CAUSE OF THE NEWTON MASSACRE

They took God out of the schools.

They took the teaching of morality and moral absolutes out of the schools. The 10 commandments are universal principles to live by. Teaching moral absolutes and character and values based on judeo-christian bible is fundamental to what America is. Other ideoloigies or political-religious-militaristic ideologies like Islam with its attending Sharia Law is not. Nor is socialism or communism.

They took Guns out of the schools.

Evil, Moral Relativism, and the Adam Lanzas of the world enter!!!

What did you expect? Nirvana? A social utopia?

THE ONE AND ONLY SURE SOLUTION TO THESE TRAGEDIES

We must recognize that the basic nature of man is corrupt.

It is just some people manifest or choose to act and misbehave in ways that are more repulsive than the rest of us - rapists, murderers, thiefs, terrorists, politicians, or lawyers...

Only if we allow God through Jesus Christ to intervene in our lives personally and individually are we not destined to remain separated from Him now and forever ... Need Him.

The Election is Over, But Who Cares? Let’s Turn Over a New Leaf

Barack Obama and most of the thieving, murderous, perverts retained their positions in the Government.  So what.  God is more powerful than Obama and the God-haters who voted for him.

Even though Obama won, we can still defeat him.  No, I’m not talking about impeachment (though I am all for that).  We can defeat Obama and the forces of Satan by getting back to basics of New Testament ethics.  I am not talking about voting and campaigning (though I have nothing against that).  I am talking about how you live your daily life and how to make right choices.

On the A Good Choice Blog, we often focus on issues like abortion, homosexuality, and the like.  God’s will concerning these issues are evident from the Scriptures.  Most evangelical Christians acknowledge this.  But on other important issues (which are not necessarily political issues), even most evangelical Christians have missed the boat.  Certain things which were not acceptable in the Church 100 years ago are now commonplace.  Little by little, compromise has set in.  It seems like everywhere I go, Christians use human arguments to justify their actions rather than using New Testament ethics.

We cannot expect to defeat the forces of Satan if we are not using the Bible as a guide for our live in every situation.  It’s not just about voting.  Therefore, I am starting a series of articles on this blog about some of the issues which I believe are the most blatantly ignored by most American Christians.  I believe that God is not happy with how we voted in this election, but He is also very unhappy with us in many other ways.  I am beginning to believe more and more that we need to first preach a message of repentance, and then the return of righteous in government will follow.

Courageous (2011)

I saw this movie, Courageous, last weekend at a large shopping mall near Columbus, Ohio. It was at one of those multiplex theaters, 16 theaters.

Courageous begins as the story of four sheriff deputies. Through the stories of their lives and situations that these deputies face, they learn by experience the fact that fatherless children are most likely to get into trouble. Many fatherless children join gangs and end up in jail. Our nation has done a poor job of encouraging and promoting fatherhood. Instead, though what may have been well-intended by some, the welfare state has criminally contributed to the destruction of the family.

These deputies, along with a young Hispanic father, together and individually, discover and decide what kind of fathers that God wants them to be. They begin to take responsibility for their families and children.

The movie delves revealingly into the lives of each man following their evolving decision to become better fathers. Each man faces challenges to his newly acquired beliefs about fatherhood. The movie addresses vital issues in a realistic, serious way, yet with just enough wholesome humor to entertain and inspire.

The men realized their need to spend more time with their families and they begin training them in the Word of God.

This all takes great courage.

RATING

This movie is exceptional. It is life affirming and motivation to life live with the purpose for which it was designed by God. It communicates essential and vital issues commonly faced by all men. Courageous is a ‘five star out of five stars’ flick. It can be simultaneously a learning as well as an entertaining event.

Every father, every man should see this movie now while it is playing in a nearby theater, or purchase or rent it when it is available.

The movie has its own website:
http://www.CourageousTheMovie.com/.

Big (Joke) Whoopi

Cartoon by Glenn McCoy as found on Townhall.com 10/5/09

Whoopi Goldberg said that film director Roman Polanski’s statutory rape charge of a 13 year-old girl was not a case of ‘rape rape’.

“Now does that make Whoopi just an idiot, or an idiot idiot?”

- - NewsBusted, Episode 10/6/09

.

COMMENT
.

Whoopi Goldberg and other Hollywood elites have recently come to the audacious defense of the criminal, decadent, and immoral behavior of one of their favorite comrades, film director Roman Polanski. This makes Whoopi and Polanski's defenders complicit in the crime. How in the world can such an egregious crime be overlooked, condoned or ignored?

NewsBusted is a conservative comedy webcast about the news of the day, uploaded every Tuesday and every Friday. Their newest NewBusted episode includes the excerpt above.

New Prez Making More Pro-Death Moves

Demise of America

STEM CELLS
.

As fellow blogger, Matt, wrote on Friday, the American Pro-Death president wishes to appease and fulfill promises made to baby-killing scientists to fund the evil practice of embryonic stem cell research (ESCR). He is doing so despite the fact that little or nothing has been achieved through ESCR. However, virtually all stem cell breakthroughs and accomplishments have been made using ethical adult stem cells.

Not only is ESCR unnecessary, it is wasteful of funding that could go to adult stem cell research were there has been noted success. There has been little private funding of ESCR. There is a reason. It is also morally repugnant to kill human beings for the purpose of some pie-in-the-sky unproven hope for future cures. What does this say about our society, our culture? We are barbarians at best, baby killers at worst. Shame on you President Soetoro (a/k/a Obama), because your wicked intent to allow the creation of life in order to kill it in some unfounded hope to cure some. Really, you are only enriching some research centers and scientists you will allow to blatantly murder innocent human beings.

Both the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/) and ABC are reporting that President Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) plans to rescind the Bush policy limiting federal funding for destructive human embryonic stem cell research on Monday (March 9, 2009). According to news reports, a signing ceremony will take place on Monday at 11 A.M. This despite the progress made with ethically noncontroversial stem cells, which makes expanded taxpayer funding of human embryonic research untenable.

According to the Washington Post, “proponents expect Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) will simply lift the restriction without caveats and let the NIH work out the details.” Obama has said, "I strongly support expanding research on stem cells. I believe that the restrictions that President Bush has placed on funding of human embryonic stem cell research have handcuffed our scientists and hindered our ability to compete with other nations."

OneNewsNow.com ran an AP story on its website over the weekend which quoted Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council (FRC). He spoke in opposition to this move to provide funding to misuse human beings in experimentation. He said, "Taxpayers should not have to foot the bill for experiments that require the destruction of human life. President Soetoro's (a/k/a Obama) policy change is especially troubling given the significant adult stem cell advances that are being used to treat patients now without harming or destroying human embryos."

I conclude that either the president is a fool or he is so bent on marginalizing life that he will stop short of nothing to degrade and disrespect it.

CONSCIENCE CLAUSE

The following information was received from the Life Legal Defense Foundation (LLDF).

The Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) Administration is also taking action to rescind Conscience Clause regulations enacted under the Bush Administration by the Department of Health and Human Services. The Proposed Rule to rescind the Conscience Regulations has been published in the Federal Register.

The proposed rule can be read in its entirety at http://www.federalregister.gov/OFRUpload/OFRData/2009-05067_PI.pdf.
Excerpts of the regulation state, “The Department is proposing to rescind in its entirety the final rule entitled “Ensuring That Department of Health and Human Services Funds Do Not Support Coercive or Discriminatory Policies or Practices in Violation of Federal Law,” published in the Federal Register on December 19, 2008 (73 FR 78072, 45 CFR Part 88).

Commenters asserted that the rule would limit access to patient care and raised concerns that individuals could be denied access to services, with effects felt disproportionately by those in rural areas or otherwise underserved.

The Department believes that the comments on the August 2008 proposed rule raised a number of questions that warrant further careful consideration. It is important that the Department have the opportunity to review this regulation to ensure its consistency with current Administration policy.

Accordingly, we believe it would benefit the Department to review this rule, accept further comments, and reevaluate the necessity for regulations implementing the statutory requirements. Thus, the Department is proposing to rescind the December 19, 2008 final rule, and we are soliciting public comment to aid our consideration of the many complex questions surrounding the issue and the need for regulation in this area.”

You may wish to submit comments by email at proposedrescission@hhs.gov . (See the proposed rule for detailed information about other submission options.) You can also call or write letters:

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
200 Independence Avenue, S.W.
Washington, D.C. 20201
Telephone: 202-619-0257
Toll Free: 1-877-696-6775

According to the Proposed Rule comments should address the following:

1. Information, including specific examples where feasible, addressing the scope and nature of the problems giving rise to the need for federal rulemaking and how the current rule would resolve those problems;

2. Information, including specific examples where feasible, supporting or refuting allegations that the December 19, 2008 final rule reduces access to information and health care services, particularly by low-income women;

3. Comment on whether the December 19, 2008 final rule provides sufficient clarity to minimize the potential for harm resulting from any ambiguity and confusion that may exist because of the rule; and

4. Comment on whether the objectives of the December 19, 2008 final rule might also be accomplished through non-regulatory means, such as outreach and education.”

Information on the Conscious Clause was taken from information received from the Life Legal Defense Foundation, P.O. Box 2105, Napa CA 94558, (707) 224-6675 (http://lldf.org)

Does Christian America Respect Life Anymore?

". . . without Respect for Life, what is there left to respect?"

- - - Bishop Richard Lennon, Diocese of Cleveland

Protecting and preserving life is real moral and ecumenical issue, because abortion stops beating hearts. Hear their cry, America! So called Catholics or "Christians" like Barack Hussein Obama, or Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi claim to be followers of Christ. They claim up and down to be "for the least of these," but by their actions, their votes and their platforms demostrate something very different.

Here is an email I received from the North East Ohio Value Voters today:

"Cleveland Catholic Bishop Richard Lennon issued a statement today
aimed at clarifying the USCCB document Faithful Citizenship and dispelling the errant thinking that has resulted in some from its faulty presentation:

""I am concerned about many things that are being said about the teaching of the bishops. From listening to many good and sincere people who are preparing to fulfill their duty to vote as Catholics and citizens, I realize they are confused in light of what is being said by certain people. For example, we hear from some that the issues and concerns raised in Faithful Citizenship are all equally important as they all impact human life. This is not at all what Faithful Citizenship taught" (emphasis added).

"Bishop Lennon goes on to differentiate between issues which involve intrinsically evil actions, which "must always be rejected and opposed and must never be supported or condoned," and what he terms "life-enhancing issues" which "only matter if human life itself is a value of fundamental priority and is always protected. If human life is expendable, then these other issues really lose much of their significance."

""Certainly, abortion and euthanasia, direct attacks on human life, stand out as intrinsically evil actions," states the bishop. "(The Church's) teaching on intrinsically evil actions admits of no exception or compromise."

""(The) teaching of the bishops on immigration (and) other life-enhancing issues . . . fundamentally differs from that on abortion and euthanasia. The teaching on abortion and euthanasia are based on "God's truth" regarding the dignity and sacredness of all human life," he emphasizes. As such, these issues are "essential and foundational and can never be compromised."The statement concludes with a directive for all Catholics who are preparing for Election Day to be guided by this teaching, "for without Respect for Life, what is there left to respect?"

"Cleveland Right to Life is sincerely grateful to Bishop Lennon for the pastoral concern he has shown his flock in issuing this statement. With this definitive guidance from the bishop, who alone has the authority to teach the mind of the Church within his diocese, all conflicting theories regarding Faithful Citizenship can be thrown away. Where a candidate stands on the fundamental Life issues of abortion and euthanasia cannot be glossed over by his relative position on other, lesser points. Every Catholic is called to place these Life issues in their proper place as the most essential of all voting considerations -- and not to compromise."

Evangelical Protestants and their Preachers would do well to follow the Bishop’s counsel on this matter.

Gambling on the Ballot Again in Ohio

The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch newspaper runs a regular feature called the Hot Issue, where they ask their readers a question of interest and ask them to answer the question and comment on their answer. The following question was asked yesterday.

The Hot Issue: Should Ohio allow casinos?

My Response: Absolutely NOT! Gambling that Ohio voters will tire of voting no, one outside casino owner is playing his cards again. Issue 6 is nothing but bad news. It promises the world, but it will just open the door for Indian casinos to enter the state. If they do, then this casino between Columbus and Cincinnati will pay no taxes.

Gambling leads to all kinds of problems. The lottery was supposed to solve our educational funding problems. It did not. Gambling is a get rich quick scheme, benefiting only the owners, so just vote NO to casinos and gambling in Ohio.
.
Read today's Cleveland.com article, "Fight brews over Ohio's Issue 6 casino measure." Vote NO on Issue 6.

Teenage Pregnancies

The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch newspaper posed today’s Hot Issue: Do you think society has been too accepting of teenage pregnancy?

Comment: Yes. However we should really ask, “Why are there so many teenage pregnancies?” Why is virtue and abstinence-based sex education such a bane to the education elite?

I call it the Planned Parenthood Federation of America mentality. The secular humanists, which control our educational system, have seen fit to remove all moral absolutes, so long held in this nation, and replaced them for moral relativism and situational ethics. If it feels good do it. We are reaping the consequences what we have foolishly allowed to be sown in our grossly inept and inferior (when compared to other industrialized nations) government indoctrination centers.

But the alternative to teenage pregnancy, abortion, is much more abhorrent. Not in the eyes of Planned Parenthood which feeds on a culture of death, but in the eyes of moral persons everywhere.

Abstinence, virtue and morality are much more palatable, much more reasonable, much more beneficial to a free and God-honoring society, but they are apparently totally unacceptable under the secular humanist worldview.

Soulforce foisting itself on chuches

Taking Back the Rainbow
.
The following banner was displayed in front of a mega church in suburban Chicago at the Willow Creek Community Church. The banner was displayed in protest to the radical homosexual activist group, SoulForce, presence at the church. Apparently officials of the church met with the radicals.

Homosexuality Is Sin.

Case Closed

— God

“Or do you not know that the (wicked) will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived;

neither the (sexually immoral),

nor idolaters,

nor adulterers,

nor (male prostitutes),

nor homosexuals,

nor thieves,

nor the (greedy),

nor drunkards,

nor revilers,

nor swindlers,

will inherit the kingdom of God.

“Such were some of you;

but you were washed (clean),

but you were (set apart for God-like living to do His work),

but you were (made right with God)

in the name of the Lord (through) Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”

--- 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Yes, we are all sinners. We are all separated from God. We all need Jesus to overcome our sins and our sinful natures.

Scouts Honor

Words To Live By

I never was a Boy Scout. My brother was one briefly. Compared to gangs member, drug pushers, gang members, porn, drug, gambling and game addicted youth Scouts stand up and out. Instead of belittling and making life difficult for the Boy Scouts of America, we should be supporting and encouraging them in every way we can.

Here are twelve words that appear in the banner header of the Cradle of Liberty Boy Scout Council website:

Trustworthy
Loyal
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
Obedient
Cheerful
Thrifty
Brave
Clean
Reverent

These words almost seem out of place in 2008, or at least the secular humanist elite in academia and their politically correct educational, governmental, and science bureaucrats, judges, politicians and assorted leftist activists would have you believe and they often act as if they are obsolete and unfashionable. They laugh at traditional American values, principles and virtues.

However, these remain wholesome, virtuous words and ideas and character qualities.

These are the virtues and qualities that apparently are unwelcome in downtown Philadelphia nowadays. The Boy Scouts are being asked to reject and surrender their mission and standards in order to be permitted to continue to occupy the building which they honorably built, renovated and preserved for 80 years.

Essentially the Boy Scouts are being held hostage until they conform to those that hold ideals of an immoral, unhealthy, unnatural and abnormal behavior set. Unless they conform they are gone. The Boy Scouts are being asked by the PC mayor and his political cronies to stop doing good and to start conforming . . . Ridiculous

More fitting words, apparently more pleasing and acceptable for downtown Philadelphia today are:

Mistrust
Disloyal
Selfish
Unsociable
Rude
Rebellious
Morbid
Wasteful
Cowardly
Immoral
Irreverent

Is that what you want, Philadelphia? Well that is what you will get, if and when you drive the Scouts out.

We Need More (John) Freshwaters

"The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion."

--- Benjamin Rush, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence

This is the third in a series of articles about the middle school teacher ordered by his principal to remove His Bible from the top of his classroom desk. See the first article, "The PC Police Go Freshwater Fishing" and the second article, "More Freshwater News" as well as a related article, "Bible Now a Banned Book in U.S.A."

AGAINST FRESHWATER

[MOUNT VERNON, OHIO) Thursday, April 24, 2008 - "Freshwater controversy continues"MountVernonNews.com reports this controversy has poured out into the Mount Vernon community. There are supporters and detractors of Mr. Freshwater.

According to an online article on the MountVernonNews website, “Retired middle school science teacher Jeff George (who) worked alongside Freshwater at Mount Vernon Middle School in the late 1980s and early ’90s . . . said there may be substance to other allegations that Freshwater used the classroom to advance his own personal beliefs. “The school administration has known for a long time that Freshwater was crossing the line, and he should have been fired a long time ago.”

George recalls several occasions when Freshwater “didn’t always stay on track with science. What he was teaching was not true, and there have been numerous complaints over the years.” (On more than one occasion, evaluations in Freshwater’s file indicate that Freshwater was directed to work more closely with George in following the course of study.) . . .

““He (Freshwater) was promoting a particular belief system,” George said, “and preached against other religions, not just Muslims or Jews or Hindus, but also any Christian denomination that was different from his.””

FOR FRESHWATER

(MANSFIELD, OHIO) Thursday, April 24, 2008 - "We need more teachers like John Freshwater" The following is a Letter to the Editor which appeared in the Mansfield News Journal on April 24, 2008. The following are some very enlightening words by David Green of Lexington, Ohio the Pastor, Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Mansfield. I took the liberty to bold some of the words for emphasis.

“The Mount Vernon school district ought to be ashamed. I read in disbelief the story about Mr. Freshwater's Bible. The part that amazed me is that he was not accused of teaching from the Bible, he was accused of having his Bible on his desk. I think this teacher ought to be commended for having his Bible in the school, and I wish there were more teachers like him.

The First Amendment does not grant people freedom from religion, but it grants freedom of religion. The Founding Fathers did not intend to keep religion out of school. In fact, it was just the opposite. I own reprints of such 18th and 19th century schoolbooks as The New England Primer and McGuffey's Readers. These books are full of references about God and the Bible.

“Now the schoolbooks do not mention God, and teachers are apparently not allowed to even show their Bible in the classroom where the kids can see. During the early years of our nation, it was unheard of for one child to rape another. They had guns, but they did not shoot each other. Now, God has been "expelled" from the public schools and rapes and school shootings are much too common. Coincidental? I think not.

“These kids need to know the Ten Commandments, the golden rule, and the fact they were made in the image of God. The Bible was good enough for our Founding Fathers, and it is good enough for our kids today. I appreciate Mr. Freshwater's stand on this, and would encourage him to continue fighting.

Benjamin Rush, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence wrote, "The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion." And in the Bible, we read a warning that we all need to pay attention to: "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalm 9:17).”

MY THOUGHTS

Mr. Freshwater is a very excellent teacher. He is a remnant of the America of our Founders, a dying breed. Instead of condemning him as Mr. George clearly did above for living his faith during the week and not merely on Sundays, we should commend Mr. Freshwater for having the courage and integrity to say no to the PC police who told him to remove his Bible from the sight of the children. These same children have been exposed to far worse sights on vile video games, global warming propaganda films, immorality on prime time TV, the violence and sex in movies and music.

Churches, parents, students and the citizens of Mount Vernon and anywhere else in this country where faith is ridiculed, ostracized, demonized, stifled, persecuted and prosecuted need to stand up now to defend Mr. Freshwater's freedom. We need to say enough to the political correct, the homosexual crowd, the pro-abortion crowd, the ACLU, the education elite and all evil and leftist forces working to destroy the fundamental beliefs, the moral and the spiritual underpinnings of this nation. Here is a line in the sand.

Doing the Right Thing

K.C. sent us the following quote. Need only look at the issues of life (opposing all abortion) and marriage (oppositng all same sex 'marriage' or 'civil unions') to see why so many people do not support these issues because it is safer, they want to be politically correct and they want to be popular. It takes a man or woman of conscience to do the right thing.

Cowardice asks the question - is it safe?
Expediency asks the question - is it political?
Vanity asks the question - is it popular?
But conscience asks the question - is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor political, nor popular; but one must take it because it is right.
--- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Political Reality, Little Morality

Michael Ramirez is one of my favorite political cartoonists. His cartoons are consistently right on the mark. His cartoon below captures the evolution of moral corruption in U.S. politics.
.
A Michael Ramirez Cartoon found on Investor's Business Daily 3/31/08
.
Maybe we should call for a moratorium on sleaze, just like the global warming alarmists called for the so-called Earth Hour this past weekend. Of course, I did not participate in the foolish and unnecessary acknowledgment of a non-issue. There is no manmade climate change catastrophe looming. It is only in the wildly vivid imaginations and devolved minds of Algore and his extreme environmentalist buds and some greedy government-grant gravy train riding so-called scientists.

Let's stop political sleaze in the political arena. This applies to Democrats, Republicans and Independent politicians alike. Of the two major political parties, the Republicans seem more responsive and quicker to call for their wayward party colleagues to resign (Rep Mark Foley), than are the Democrats (Rep. William Jefferson, etc.) who continue to embrace even the most deviant among them. This should equally apply to the foisting of guilt and debt on the taxpaying public based on the senseless fantasy (read that, lie) of manmade global warming.

If Not at Conception, Please Tell Me When Then Does Life Begin?

In response to my article, Planned Parenthood Practices Reproductive Racism, I received this comment on Polzoo.com, where I also posted the article, “. . . your entire argument rests on the premise that abortion equals homicide . . . What evidence do you have that human life starts at conception? . . .”

The following is basically my answer to the person making the comment above.

If life does not begin at conception, please tell me when life does begin. Does it begin at the start of the third trimester? Does it begin at birth? Does it begin 1 week after birth? Does it begin at age 7? Does it begin when some ‘all-knowing’ jurist or physician says it does? Does it begin when an anti-American Civil 'Liberties' Union (ACLU) attorney says it does?

The development of human life begins at conception. Any deliberate extinguishing of life from the point of conception onward is wrong, it is immoral, it is unethical, and it is the taking of a human life.
.
'SUPREME' COURT

In 1973 the United States Supreme Court overstepped its bounds and unlawfully ‘legalized’ the murder of millions of babies. Supposedly they, like you, apparently could not tell when life began. The technology or scientific advancement was such at the time that they could not tell when life began. Or maybe they just faked stupidity.
.
SONOGRAMS

Just look at a sonogram today and watch the movement of the baby in the womb. The baby is not a mere appendage of the mother. He or she is a separate, unique person. He or she has a developing brain, he or she has its own hands, feet, he or she has a heartbeat, he or she feels pain. Abortion stops a beating heart.
.
SLAVERY

Abortion is wrong in the same way that slavery was wrong in America 150 years ago. Abortion is wrong in the same way slavery is wrong in Sudan. It took the Civil War to end slavery. What will it take to end the deprivation of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for the pre-born baby in America? Abortion is not a mere political issue. It is not a Republican issue. It is not only a conservative issue. It is a moral issue. It transcends politics.

I would like somebody, anybody, to answer definitively when life does begin, if not at conception.

Will the Real Conservative Please Step Forward? part 4

The news media is billing the GOP presidential race as a choice between a “moral conservative” (Tax Hike Mike) and a “fiscal conservative” (Rudely Julie Annie), leaving voters with the impression that they must choose to compromise on morality or economics. Occasionally, they suggest the “middle-of-the-road on both” third choice, Mitt Romney.

The news media is right in characterizing both the Huckster’s tax and spend big government policies and Rudolph the Red-Faced Blame-Smear’s liberal positions on abortion and homosexuality.

Being fiscally conservative means being in favor of both cutting taxes and spending. Borrow-and-spend “conservatives” are worse than tax-and-spend liberals. As governor of Arkansas, Friar Huck raised taxes like a true fiscal liberal.

He claims to be an advocate for homeschoolers and for more local control of education, but out of the other side of his mouth he supports the No Child Left Behind Act which takes more taxpayer’s money and gives more power to the Federal government over the schools. Tax Hike Mike called it "the greatest education reform effort by the federal government in my lifetime." (Washington Times 03/01/05) On his own website he said, “there is value in the ‘No Child Left Behind’ law's effort to set high standards.” He sends his kids to public school and says other officials should. He believes in incorporating character education (which is the responsibility of parents and not the state) into school curriculum. He thinks that spending more money on music education will help students to learn math better. Huh?

The Huckster favored allowing illegal aliens to have driver’s licenses and their children to attend public schools at taxpayer’s expense.

The news media is correct in portraying Rudely Julie Annie as the “abortion choice” candidate. He claims that even though he is “pro-choice” that he would nominate Supreme Court Justices who conservatives would be happy with. Don’t count on it.

Three things news media won’t tell you:

1. Tax Hike Mike isn’t so morally conservative.
2. Rudolph the Red-Faced Blame-Smear isn’t so fiscally conservative.
3. There is no need to compromise—Ron Paul is both morally and fiscally conservative.

Friar Huck raised his hand when asked the question, “Who does NOT believe in evolution?” But yet he is in favor of pouring more of your tax dollars into a system which teaches evolution as if it were a fact. If the Huckster really is creationist, he can’t take his belief in it that seriously. Ron Paul, on the other hand, did not raise his hand, but made this statement recently and does not believe in forcing taxpayers to pay for the teaching of evolution.

Huckaberry Fin has also said that he is “pro-life, but respects choice as mandated law”. Ron Paul, on the other hand, says that Roe v. Wade is entirely illegitimate.

Some other things you should know about the Huckster:

He supports principles embodied in the Equal Rights Amendment.
He would change the rule barring immigrants from running for president.
He would import farm workers from Mexico.

He said, “I believe in free trade and allowing the marketplace to push innovative ideas to the top & prices to the bottom. Perhaps the most compelling challenge is ensuring that a free trade correspondingly represents a fair trade.”

The war in Iraq is costing the U.S. nine billion dollars per month. The total cost will in all probability top a trillion dollars and may reach even two trillion dollars. Nearly four thousand American soldiers have been killed in Iraq and 28,000 have been wounded. The National Debt is nine trillion dollars. The population of the U.S. is about 300 million. So that’s about $30,000 in debt per person and at least $3000 of this is due to the war Iraq. Rudely Julie Annie supports the war in Iraq. Some “fiscal conservative” he is.

Ron Paul’s anti-Iraq war position is not isolationist, but non-interventionist. He would get rid of the Department of Education, and all federal control over the public schools, returning it to the states and local governments. He has earned his reputation as “Dr. No” for always voting against unconstitutional and runaway government spending. He is pro-life without exceptions, and against gay marriage.

Taking money from people without a biblical mandate is theft, and is always immoral. On the other hand, “immoral” policies (e.g. legalizing the murder of the unborn and legitimizing homosexuality) always lead to more poverty in the end. Therefore, in the final analysis, you can’t really distinguish between “moral” and “fiscal” conservatism. You are either a conservative or you are not.
