Lie to Me (TV Show, 2009)

This blog article is not about the Democratic or Republican Party, though both have lied to me as they have regularly lied to all of America. It isn’t even about President Barry Soetoro (a/k/a Barack H. Obama) who has possibly usurped the presidency because he seems to be hiding the facts and proof that he is a natural born citizen of this country. Some contend that he was born in Kenya or relinquished his citizen, if he ever had it, when he lived in Indonesia with his step-father and his mother and attending grade school, where he studied Islam and where there is documented evidence that he was registered as Barry Soetoro. He may have even attended college here in the United States as a foreign exchange student. Cases may be eventually heard in the U.S. Supreme Court regarding this basic qualification. No, “Lie to Me” is a new television show on Fox. It is a one-hour long drama that portrays a crime solver, Dr. Cal Lightman, played by British-born movie actor Tim Roth. This crime solver is different. I do not watch much TV, since my indoor antenna can only pick up one or two local stations. I stumbled across “Lie to Me” on the Internet last week where I occasionally watch episodes of “House” and “Prison Break.”

I watched this show the other day over the Internet on the Fox website. It is scheduled to be on Wednesday evenings. It was interesting and entertaining. It is kind of a cross between “Monk” and “The Profiler.” “The Profiler,” which I watched a have watched a few times, played for a few seasons on NBC. If I recall the star of that show was some type of female psychic, who used her “powers” to solve cases. In this new show the star uses his powers of observation and ability read the body language, emotional and facial expressions to solve crimes.

According to selecttTV magazine, a publication of the Mount Vernon (Ohio) News Jay Bobbin writes, “The science of microexpression fuels “Lie to Me," . . . (which is) based on the work of University of California psychology professor Paul Ekman and premiered last Wednesday.

Bobbin adds, “Noted film star Tim Roth . . . makes his weekly series debut as Dr. Cal; Lightman, a specialist in gleaning information by closely watching a person’s facial and/or body language. His talent is sought by federal and local authorities as well as companies and individuals who hire his agency . . .”

Now, I wonder what Dr. Ekman would say about some of our current politicians and many lawyers. I would be especially interested in what he would say about our current President and Presidents Bush and Clinton!

I may try to catch a few more episodes of this new series, which is a mid season substitute and may or may not have a long-term future. I do think it will be successful.

Coronation of Queen (President) Hillary I?

T.D. sent me the following resume of Democrat Senator and Presidential aspirant Hillary Rodham-Clinton. She claims to have experience. The listing below outlines that experience, which for the most part is less than optimal for a person seeking the highest office of the land.

Senator Clinton has been bragging that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her "record." This “record” she cites are her eight years in the White House as First Lady - or "co-president" - and her seven years in the Senate. The following content of that sordid record is meant to refresh Americans who may have forgotten what she accomplished:

- As First Lady, Hillary assumed authority over Health Care Reform, a process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Pat Moynahan, key votes were needed to pass her legislation, that she would "demonize "anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn't even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. (And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.)

- Hillary assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations (Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood) were forced to withdraw their names from consideration, and then she chose Janet Reno. Janet Reno has since been described by Bill himself as "my worst mistake."

- Hillary recommended Lani Guanier for head of the Civil Rights Commission. When Guanier's radical views became known, her name had to be withdrawn.

- Hillary recommended her former law partners, Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and William Kennedy for positions in the Justice Department, White House staff, and the Treasury, respectively. Hubbell was later imprisoned, Foster committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

- Hillary also recommended a close friend of the Clintons, Craig Livingstone, for the position of director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of up to 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, both Hillary and her husband denied knowing him. (FBI agent Dennis Sculimbrene confirmed in a Senate Judiciary Committee in 1996 both the drug use and Hillary's involvement in hiring Livingstone.

After that, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office, after serving seven presidents for over thirty years.)

- In order to open "slots" in the White House for her friends the Harry Thomasons (to whom millions of dollars in travel contracts could be awarded), Hillary had the entire staff of the White House Travel Office fired; they were reported to the FBI for "gross mismanagement" and their reputations ruined. After a thirty-month investigation, only one, Billy Dale, was charged with a crime - mixing personal money with White House funds when he cashed checks. The jury acquitted him in less than two hours.

- Another of Hillary's assumed duties was directing the "bimbo eruption squad" and scandal defense: ---- She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. ---- She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs. ---- Then they had to settle with Paula Jones after all. ---- And Bill lost his law license for lying to the grand jury. ---- And Bill was impeached by the House. ---- And Hillary almost got herself indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice (she avoided it mostly because she repeated, "I do not recall," "I have no recollection," and "I don't know" 56 times under oath).

- Hillary wrote "It Takes a Village," demonstrating her Socialist viewpoint.

- Hillary decided to seek election to the Senate in a state she had never lived in.

Her husband pardoned FALN terrorists in order to get Latino support and the New Square Hassidim to get Jewish support. Hillary also had Bill pardon her brother's clients, for a small fee, to get financial support.

- Then Hillary left the White House, but later had to return $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork she had stolen.

- In the campaign for the Senate, Hillary played the "woman card" by portraying her opponent (Lazio) as a bully picking on her.

- Hillary's husband further protected her by asking the National Archives to withhold from the public until 2012 many records of their time in the White House, including much of Hillary's correspondence and her calendars. (There are ongoing lawsuits to force the release of those records.)

- As the junior Senator from New York , Hillary has passed no major legislation. She has deferred to the senior Senator (Schumer) to tend to the needs of New Yorkers, even on the hot issue of medical problems of workers involved in the cleanup of Ground Zero after 9/11.

- Hillary's one notable vote, supporting the plan to invade Iraq , she has since disavowed.

Quite a resume, isn't it? Sounds more like an organized crime family. . .

Liberal former President Jimmy Carter called what someone described as a “Democrat Prayer Meeting” a gathering of very liberal “Baptists” in Atlanta. Both former Vice President Al Gore and former President Bill Clinton spoke.

OneNewsNow.com reported that Al Gore has used a speech to sell his global warming campaign.

OneNewsNow.com quoted The Tennessean in Nashville as having described Gore's speech as follows: "With a green-colored Bible in one hand and his familiar red laser pointer in the other, former vice president and Nobel prize winner Al Gore led 2,500 Baptist preachers and lay leaders through his global warming slide show in Atlanta Thursday. Sounding more like an evangelist than a politician, Gore drew upon Scripture, science and a Sunday school teacher from his home church to urge Baptists to do whatever they could to fight global warming."

It is unconscionable that so-called “ministers of the truth” would buy Algore drivel. Global warming is no more caused by man, than did man have a part in the creation of earth. Global warming is primarily a climatic cyclical phenomenon. It was in the 1970s that may of the same climate “experts” where declaring that the world was returning to an ice age.

Gore claimed that global warming was not a political issue but a moral one. This is but one of the many lies that flow so easily from the mouth of this deceiver. Global warming is, in fact, a political issue. Gore and other leftist elite want to subjugate America under a global government which would tax America, on the false premise of global warming, to finance a socialist agenda. No, Vice President Gore, you are wrong, Global warming is strictly a political issue. Shame on you so-called ministers, to be so easily swayed by this sweet talking charlatan.

B-rated Barack Obama’s victory in South Carolina on Saturday may have catapulted him out of the Clinton Arkansas pigsty. Governing for the Most People

I recently received a letter from President Bill Clinton seeking my financial support to advance the Democrat Party majority in the Senate. Obviously President Clinton was not aware that as a Democrat candidate, myself, in the 2006 primary election my positions were very conservative and almost totally contrary to those espoused by the Democrat Party elite then and now. Moreover, just as I did when the Republicans wrote to me asking me to contribute to their cause, I responded with a letter to the sender.


Dear President Clinton:

Thank you for your letter of June 25, 2007 requesting funds to help the Democrat senate campaigns.

You write of “governing in a way those benefits the most people” and which “ensures our successful future together.” “Governing for the common good,” you say. Five times you used that phrase in your letter. What ever happened to governing for everyone? Doesn’t the Declaration of Independence state, “ that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights”? Wasn’t the United States of America started for the benefit of all the people?

If you are only governing to benefit the most people; are you not governing at the expense of the some of the citizens? In other words, you seem to be advocating governing to hurt some. If you rob Peter to pay Paul and Andrew and who knows who else, then is not this governing to benefit the most people. You write about 8,000 people who would be affected for $250 billion of the death tax. Are you not hurting these people, their decedents, and their employees and employees’ families, not to mention the tax base that this $250 billion provides? You speak of college loans. Can’t people join the military and get an education by use of the G.I. benefit or low cost loan? Isn’t this a better way of supporting the country and the individual?

President Lyndon Johnson governed to help the majority with his Great Society welfare state program. What he did in essence was lock people into dependence on the government and made them unable to take care of themselves? Who was really helped under this grand welfare scheme?

Another Democrat President, Jimmy Carter, removed the United States from Panama. Now our enemy Red China controls both ends of the Panama Canal. He oversaw the end of the Shah in Iran and brought about the modern terrorist state and allowed American hostages to be held 444 days doing essentially nothing to gain their release.

Mr. Clinton, as President, you vetoed the ban on partial birth abortion, ordered the attack on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, which was eventually set on fire. Was this a trial run on how the government should effectively deal with Christians? Furthermore, in Somalia you sent troops to do a job, but not enough back-up of men and equipment was provided when they ran into trouble. Then you abruptly pulled the military out when some of our people got killed. This emboldened the terrorists to further attack the United States. China couldn’t get their rockets to work properly, so you allowed an American firm to go and assist them. Then China used this American given knowledge to target America with nuclear warheads.

I am really amused that you imply the Democrat Party would govern for a successful future. President Bush tried to increase oil drilling, approve the building of new refineries, and new nuclear power plants. The Democrats in Congress foiled this. President John F. Kennedy said the way to increase revenue to the U.S. Treasury is to decrease taxes, which in turn stimulates the economy. You and the Democrat Party leadership advocate increasing taxes, increase spending, shrink or even deplete the military, not have an anti-missile system and lose wars. It is woefully apparent that the Democrats desire the destruction of America for the Party’s ideas and polices are self-destructive. President Clinton, perhaps God has given you up to a deprived mind, you and your Party call evil good and good evil.

President F. D. Roosevelt spoke of experiment. America is not an experiment. Our Forefathers were Christians who knew the living God through faith in Jesus Christ. They lived in obedience to him. Liberty’s source is the Spirit of God. Obedience to God is what is needed and this benefits everyone. It appears that Democrats are opposed to God and do not want to live in obedience to Him. His judgment begins with climate change. This is followed by foreign harassment (i.e. terrorism). This is then followed by loss of sovereignty. If the people refuse to repent, then the nation is eliminated. Have you, sir, ever heard of Sodom and Gomorrah? They too refused to repent.

I strongly suggest, Mr. President that you repent of your sins, and personally invite Jesus Christ into your heart and life. A simple prayer would accomplish this, “Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me of my sins, and come into my heart and life today . . .
