This cartoon by Jeff Stahler says it all, does it not? It was featured this past weekend on page I-15 in Sunday's (12/26/2010) Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch newspaper. My, how you've shrunk Mr. President in popularity and status. You have been a controversial and an increasingly unpopular President.

You have proven to be an unexceptional leader and first and foremost a true socialist ideologue.  You and your agenda have been rejected by a large number of voters in the November General Election. Despite that rejection, you and your radical Democratic-led Congress have insisted on continuing to pursue that ungodly, socialistic agenda until the very last minute of the 111th Congress. From the standpoint of Karl Marx you have been highly successful. However, George Washington would have considered you an absolute abject failure. 

This president has been an outstanding success in his own eyes. His puppet master George Soros must be pleased overall with the advances made by this radical leftist and his capitalist, union, congressional cronies, media moguls, educational elites, and assorted government bureaucrats. However, an increasing number of Americans, both those who voted for him and those who did not vote for him, both now feel he is taking the nation in the wrong direction. The Tea Party Movement is an outgrowth of President Bush's and President Soetoro aka Obama's failed policies along with the last two  Democratic controlled Congresses. 

This nation must be righted. The ship is listing badly to the left and has been for quite some time. Our true hope is in personal and national repentance and in the recognition again of the sovereignty of the one true  God. Hopefully, He will use the new Congressional conservatives to get this sinking ship uprighted, turned around and headed in the right direction. We need to do it quickly or we will all surely drown ...

I posted the above lines on the Cleveland.com National and International Politics Forum and received this comment, “You are prejudiced. And the biggest proponent of the tea-party on this forum…”

For one thing that is a high compliment, “Biggest proponent of the Tea Party” ( Movement) on this forum.”

And here’s how I replied, “(I am also) Hateful, Intolerant, and bigoted!

The Tea Party Movement IS the best thing that has happened to America in decades. We actually owe a debt of gratitude and the load of new debt to President Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama and his Democratic Congressional Comrades for causing the Tea Party Movement to (1) be created and (2) to thrive!

An Immigrant to America

David Barton read a seventy year-old definition of what it meant to be an American on his Thursday, July 14, 2010 WallbuildersLive radio show broadcast. Historian David Barton feels that this definition encapsulates how to access whether someone really is an immigrant. Here is the definition of what it is to be an American that Barton quoted.

“What is an American? An American is a man who is greater in his soul than in his class, creed, political party, or section of the country in which he lives.

“To be an American a man must have an American soul and believe in the spiritual realities upon which America rests and out of which America was born.

“America was created to UNITE mankind by those passions which lift and not the passions which separate and divide.

“We came to America to get rid of the things that divide and make sure of the things that unite.”

David Barton summarized the above definition this way, “So the definition of immigrant is, we are here to be part of assimilating, we are here to UNITE, we want to further the United States …”

I feel that most illegal aliens do not fit this definition of either Americans or of immigrants to America. Do they assimilate? Does our government encourage them to assimilate when they require bilingual education and other services? No. It seems to me that by our government's action we are encouraging Balkinization, and disunity in the name of diversity and pluralism!!

We are all for immigration, as long as it is legal and helps to contribute to the overall good of this society and this nation. The biggest contributions of immigrants to America were from legal immigrants who went through the red tape and waited their turn in line. Not from the illegal aliens who sponged their way in line and committed the crime of illegal entry.

The government in the last 18 or more years has especially shirked its responsibility to secure the borders and enforce our immigration laws. Essentially President Bush did nothing and President Soetoro/Obama is doing less than nothing. They both wanted amnesty for illegals. Comprehensive immigration reform is amnesty no matter how the Democrats and RINOs in Congress and the White House want to spin it.

The definition to which Barton refers hearkens back to a day when America had clearer vision and an interested and involved populace. The Tea Party Movement is resurrecting some of that previous interest and involvement. However, it must increase its pressure exponentially if we are to put a halt to the destructive policies of Washington, D.C.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER is cry that must carry us through the upcoming and important mid-term general election. The Leftist Democrats and RINO Republicans will try to push amnesty either prior to the November election or during the lame duck session if enough of the current crop of creeps is kicked out of Congress.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER the lack of border security, the lack of enforcement of our current immigration laws, the government’s attempt to stealthily build a North American Union, remember the Democrats’ attempt to give up U.S. sovereignty on many fronts, remember the Democrats’ nomination and votes for judges who would recognize international law above our Constitution. Remember those Democrats and Republicans who agree with our President, that America is not a Christian nation, but a nation with a large Muslim population and godless divisive secular humanism.

Above all remember what has happened the past two years in the government’s attempt to turn our nation from a Democratic Republican Capitalist form of government and economy into a tyrannical socialist state! Let’s stop the nonsense. Enough is enough.

There is some real truth to blaming Bush for the Soetoro/Obama regime. Had Bush stuck to conservative principles, and not abandoned them, especially in terms of holding spending, the economy may not have tanked to the degree it did and their would not have been the need for the "hope" and "change" promised by the inexperienced socialist "savior" and usurper.

I previously shared an article, “2009 Person of the Year (WorldNetDaily's).” This post is a further elaboration of that article.

The past ten years started with planned acts of terrorism by Islamic radicals and ended with spontaneous acts of patriotic protests by average God-fearing, freedom-loving Americans. The TEA PARTY PARTICIPANT woke up and began to see that the current president was carrying out an anti-American agenda, which his immediate predecessor, the Compassionate Faux Conservative President began with such things as his push for Medicare Part D Prescription Drug ‘benefit’, Amnesty for Illegal Aliens, the North American Union Highway and the ill conceived Bailouts . . . President Hope & Change intensified the move toward socialism with multiplied spending schemes and expanded socialist policies and legislation. It all started to come to a head this year . . .

So it was very fitting when the 2009 Person of the Year was named by WorldNetDaily.com to be the TEA PARTY PARTICIPANT. Actually, I would go further and conclude that the same person should be named the Person of the first 10 years of this millennium.

You could say that these two persons – the Islamic Terrorist and the Tea Party Participant – are bookends to a decade of lost opportunities.

2000 - 2009, I say was 10 years of 'lost opportunities' because we, conservatives, thought we were electing a conservative president in George W. Bush. He proved to be a half-hearted conservative at best. He did not advance either fiscal or social conservative issues with any passion or necessary leadership.

The Islamic Terrorist symbolizes the dangers we face as we move into the new decade. You can see this demonstrated by the recent Fort Hood Massacre and the nearly catastrophic terrorist act over Detroit. Under an appeasing, light-weight, socialist President, who has acts more and more like the reincarnation of Jimmy Carter, and who will prove to be very susceptible to further tolerate the acts of terrorism perpetrated by the Islamists. His radical socialist philosophy and his adherence to political correctness have blinded his eyes to the innate dangers of Islam.

The Tea Party Participant, on the other hand, represents the real hope for America going into the new year and decade. An awakened electorate, who will do something daring in May and in November in response to the outrageous acts of domestic terrorism and foreign terrorism being visited upon America. Hopefully we will purge Congress of the in-House & in-Senate socialists. Many in Congress and in government today are bent on moving the country toward tyrannical and global governance. If the country can survive the legislative atomic bombs being dropped on an almost daily basis, come November we may be able to neutralize a grossly arrogant and errant President. That is the HOPE and the CHANGE that is really needed . . .

Who is the Real Muslim?

I am getting tired of people, especially those who voted George W. Bush, sending me messages like “If you had any doubts that Barack Obama is a Muslim…” and saying “Aha! Now I have real proof that he is Muslim!” The emails come enclosed with a link to a video which is supposed proof, and an urgent message to watch it before it gets pulled from YouTube. I’ve been getting these emails for months. It makes me sick to see people get so excited about this as if they are really on to something important.

First of all, the statements are taken out of context. Barack Obama's references to Islam as “my faith” are past tense.

Secondly, most people who are getting so excited about this don’t believe a word that Barack Obama says. So why should they believe he’s telling the truth when he says that he is a Muslim? Set an unscrupulous politician in front any group of people, and he will say anything (including lies) to ingratiate himself to that group.

Thirdly, even if Obama thinks that he is a Muslim, that doesn’t mean that he is. Most of the people talking about this know that you can’t be both Christian and Muslim. That is an obvious contradiction. But this is not necessarily a contradiction in Barack Obama’s mind. That just isn’t how his mind works. I think Mahatma Ghandi was sincere (but wrong) when he said, “I am a Hindu, but I am also a Muslim, a Christian and a Jew”.

Fourthly, the true test of whether or not someone actually belongs to a particular faith is whether or not said person adheres to the teachings of said faith. Islam is a damnable heresy, but it has at least some standards of morality which its adherents are supposed live by. They are supposed to oppose dishonesty, homosexuality, infanticide, and immodesty. Barack Obama fails the test miserably. By saying that he is Muslim, they are giving him too much credit.

This just one aspect of the false dichotomy between the liberals and the so-called conservatives at the highest political rungs in our country. Obama’s religion is not Christianity and it is not Islam. Bush is not a Christian. They are both antichrists who, in the name of tolerance, want to swallow up all the world’s religions and make them into one religion which will actually be intolerant of any other religion, including true Islam and true Christianity. They are Fascists and/or Communists or some combination of the two. One can simply can this collectivism.

Most people sending out this email (rightly) think that Obama is horrible and (wrongly) think that Bush is an example of a God fearing Christian. If someone sends you one of these emails, please send them the three YouTube URLs at the end of this article.

The first of the videos below shows Bush kissing up to the Muslims in one of his speeches. The second shows a clip of him denying that Christianity is the only path to salvation and two gentleman then explain why this contradicts the Bible and their opinion of what Bush’s motives really are. The final video is a sad commentary on how people make so much of something that doesn’t mean anything at all, how politicians will kiss up to anybody, and how silly Bush looks in a dress!

Compassionate "Conservative" versus "Compassionate" Liberal

K.C. sent and email with the two photos below, which contrast the large ego, arrogance, and aloofness of one president and the true touching awareness and concern of another president. What a contrast. Bush was no conservative, yet he cared. While Soetoro a/k/a Obama obliviously shows no compassion or care. Its a matter of character or lack of it. Obama is Not For Civil Liberties

Most conservative Christians rightfully quote the first, second, and fourteenth amendments in objection to overbearing and unjust policies of government. But what about the fourth and fifth amendments?

The Fourth Amendment to the Constitution reads:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution reads:

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.



Since President Bush did everything he could to destroy our civil liberties, we are now in even more danger from having our rights taken away from us with the more emboldened Mr. Obama (illegitimately) in office. In the name of the “War on Terror” Bush has bequeathed the legal tools Obama needed to put Christians in jail and physically abuse them, in addition to the more traditional ways that liberals trample on our rights.



Everybody is complaining about Janet Napolitano, but she would not be the Secretary of the Department Homeland Security if hadn’t been for Bush. As reward for his loyalty to the Republican Party above the Constitution, the Bush creation of the DHS in November of 2002 was a political pat on the back for the pro-abortion, pro-gun control Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge. (May God grant Pat Toomey a victory over Ridge in the race for the Senate!) While taking away our guns, telling us seal our houses with plastic and keep bottles of water with bleach in it for drinking water in case of a terrorist attack, Tom Ridge didn’t make the “homeland” any more secure.

And what’s this? Obama is reversing himself on releasing photos of the Abu Ghraib abuse! Obama is even standing up to the ACLU on this one! (Even a broken clock is right twice a day, but not Obama!)

Executive order reflects a disdain for human life

In a ceremony at the White House Monday morning President Barry Soetoro (a/k/a Barack Obama) signed an executive order lifting a restriction on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. What the President did was essentially kill the ban on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research (ESCR).

President Bush had imposed the restrictions on August 9, 2001 – limiting federal funding of such research to 21 cell lines that already were in existence as of that date and thereby restricting the use of tax dollars for research requiring the destruction of additional embryos.

Deceptive and misleading rhetoric (so what else is new) marked President Soetoro's (Obama) remarks announcing his decision.

WRONG DECISION ETHICALLY

To all who believe that every human life has intrinsic moral value – Soetoro's (a/k/a Obama’s) ]decision was unethical. Scientifically it no longer is a question whether an embryo is a human life. Every characteristic that will mark a fully developed human life is embedded in the DNA of the embryo. The only question remaining is whether or not one assigns value to that life. And President Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) does not. Destroying one human life – uniquely and wondrously designed in the image of God – even in order to possibly help other human beings, is morally wrong.

Further – it is ethically wrong to force taxpayers who do honor the sanctity of the embryonic human life to help pay for research that they believe is immoral.

WRONG DECISION SCIENTIFICALLY

President Obama’s action was wrong on a scientific basis and on a fiscal basis.

Basically, there are two types of stem cell research: research that requires the destruction of human embryos or ESCR; and research utilizing adult stem cells and that therefore does not require the destruction of human life.

Scientists have been conducting research with both adult and embryonic stem cells for years. Only research with adult stem cells has yielded any successes in the treatment of human disease.

Such successes have been numerous. More that 70 diseases and conditions presently are being treated with adult stem cell therapy. Those diseases or conditions include diabetes, heart disease, cerebral palsy, renal failure, liver damage, and hepatitis. Most recently, a patient suffering from Parkinson’s disease was treated successfully with his own stem cells.

On the other hand, research with embryonic stem cells has been plagued with problems. Specifically, tests – which to date has been limited to animals due to the inherent risks – invariably have ended in failure due to immune rejection and rapid replication of cells leading to cancerous tumors.

The fact that tests utilizing embryonic stem cells often result in tumorous growths should come as no surprise -- even to the layman. At the embryonic stage, human life is characterized by rapid development into a fully formed human being. Embryonic stem cells divide and specialize rapidly in order to form all the cells, tissues and organs necessary for the human body to function. Taken out of that environment, embryonic stem cells still continue to replicate rapidly and thus form tumors. Most of the research in embryonic stem cells, ironically, has been aimed at getting those embryonic stem cells to act like adult stem cells!

Politicians bent on devaluing human life continue to tout embryonic stem cell research as the most promising research because of the ability of embryonic stem cells to differentiate into all cells of the body. But research has proven that adult stem calls have the same ability to change into every kind of cell, tissue and organ in the body.

DECISION IS WRONG FISCALLY

It therefore also is fiscally irresponsible to channel funds away from research that has a proven track record (adult stem cell research) of treating human disease into research that shows no hope for doing so (ESCR).

MEDIA'S SILENCE IS DEAFENING


The opposition (ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, PBS, NY Times, etc.) media's lack of interest in telling the whole truth about stem cells is so revealing of their on-going leftist bias. They fully support and conspire with the President and the Democratic Party elite in pushing a Pro-Death agenda on the people of America. Relentless in their advancing ESCR with little or no acknowledgement of the difference between ethical adult or umbilical sources of stem cells and that of the totally unethical and immoral use of embryonic stem cells.

CONCLUSION

Why would our president, the media and other liberals take such morally, scientifically and fiscally irresponsible action? We do not know what is in their hearts or minds. Political payoffs and the expansion of a pro-abortion Pro-Death are two possible motivations.

TAKE ACTION

Pray for our president, and for our nation. Let your objections be known to the president and to the congress.

Republicans have veered away from fiscal conservatism. The present President Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) administration is the result of the GOP's refusal to stick to their principles. President Bush and the GOP became like the Democrats, free spenders. That is the primary reason that we are in the shape we are in . . .

The Republicans must wake up as they did in the 90's and be conservatives. Dr. Ron Paul and other real fiscal conservatives want to curb government spending, reduce taxes, reduce the deficit and allow free enterprise to work.

Unfortunately when the GOP was in power began to act like the Liberals currently in power. That is the bottom line problem - abandonment of fiscal conservative principles . . .

Lie to Me (TV Show, 2009)

This blog article is not about the Democratic or Republican Party, though both have lied to me as they have regularly lied to all of America. It isn’t even about President Barry Soetoro (a/k/a Barack H. Obama) who has possibly usurped the presidency because he seems to be hiding the facts and proof that he is a natural born citizen of this country. Some contend that he was born in Kenya or relinquished his citizen, if he ever had it, when he lived in Indonesia with his step-father and his mother and attending grade school, where he studied Islam and where there is documented evidence that he was registered as Barry Soetoro. He may have even attended college here in the United States as a foreign exchange student. Cases may be eventually heard in the U.S. Supreme Court regarding this basic qualification. No, “Lie to Me” is a new television show on Fox. It is a one-hour long drama that portrays a crime solver, Dr. Cal Lightman, played by British-born movie actor Tim Roth. This crime solver is different. I do not watch much TV, since my indoor antenna can only pick up one or two local stations. I stumbled across “Lie to Me” on the Internet last week where I occasionally watch episodes of “House” and “Prison Break.”

I watched this show the other day over the Internet on the Fox website. It is scheduled to be on Wednesday evenings. It was interesting and entertaining. It is kind of a cross between “Monk” and “The Profiler.” “The Profiler,” which I watched a have watched a few times, played for a few seasons on NBC. If I recall the star of that show was some type of female psychic, who used her “powers” to solve cases. In this new show the star uses his powers of observation and ability read the body language, emotional and facial expressions to solve crimes.

According to selecttTV magazine, a publication of the Mount Vernon (Ohio) News Jay Bobbin writes, “The science of microexpression fuels “Lie to Me," . . . (which is) based on the work of University of California psychology professor Paul Ekman and premiered last Wednesday.

Bobbin adds, “Noted film star Tim Roth . . . makes his weekly series debut as Dr. Cal; Lightman, a specialist in gleaning information by closely watching a person’s facial and/or body language. His talent is sought by federal and local authorities as well as companies and individuals who hire his agency . . .”

Now, I wonder what Dr. Ekman would say about some of our current politicians and many lawyers. I would be especially interested in what he would say about our current President and Presidents Bush and Clinton!

I may try to catch a few more episodes of this new series, which is a mid season substitute and may or may not have a long-term future. I do think it will be successful.

Dear President Bush:

Congressional inquiry after Congressional inquiry has raised questions about the prosecution of former border patrol agents Compean and Ramos. They should be pardoned or have their sentences commuted.

Agents Compean and Ramos were sentenced to 12 and 11 years in prison, respectively, for pursuing an illegal alien drug smuggler and shooting him in the buttocks.

Three jurors have since claimed that they were coerced into giving a "guilty" verdict.

The Federal government gave the illegal-alien drug smuggler immunity in exchange for his testimony against Compean and Ramos. Now he is suing the Federal government for $5 million because he says his civil rights were violated! It should also be noted that the drug smuggler was recently arrested for resuming it nefarious smuggling activities.

Meanwhile, two corrupt Border Patrol agents who were convicted of taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes from Mexican smuggling gangs were sentenced to half the time (six years) that Compean and recent "Agent Of the Year" nominee Ramos were for doing their job.

Please pardon or commute the sentences of Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean. These men have served more than enough time.

Finding a Permanent Home for Palestinians

How to Achieve Lasting Peace in Palestine

Throughout most of his two terms in office President Bush seemed to be committed to pushing his Road Map for Peace Plan. Wikipedia describes it as follows, “The "road map" for peace is a plan to resolve the Isreli-Palestinian conflict proposed by a “quartet” of international entities: the United States, the European Union, Russia and the United Nations. The principles of the plan were first outlined by U.S. President George W. Bush in a speech on June 24, 2002, in which he called for an independent Palestinian state living side by side with Israel in peace: "The Roadmap represents a starting point toward achieving the vision of two states, a secure State of Israel and a viable, peaceful, democratic Palestine. It is the framework for progress towards lasting peace and security in the Middle East..." Thankfully, Bush will not have achieved his goal of implementing his plan before he leaves office. This undercutting of our only real ally in the Middle East has been foolish and detrimental to America.

The Road Map to Peace has been a failure. Palestinian refugees are still wallowing in refugee camps, Israel is being terrorized from land (Gaza) it recently exchanged for the promised peace that never comes. A different solution needs to be looked at now.

I recently attended a conference last November and heard Amy Bennett, Executive Director of the International Israeli Allies Caucus Foundation who described a plan proposed by Israeli Knesset member, Benny Elon. He calls his plan “The Israeli Initiative, The Right Road to Peace."

In this article I am introducing this alternative, which was recently brought to my attention with Israel’s retaliatory bombing the last two days in Gaza. Gaza is the territory we forced Israel to give up in exchange for the allusive prospect of peace. Gaza under Iran-backed Hamas has become a literal terrortory.

I really liked what I heard of his plan. America should abandon Bush’s Roadmap and get on the Right Road to Peace . . . Below are the three principles upon which this alternative plan is based. Very serious consideration should be given to scrapping the Roapmap to Peace and studying and working toward implementing the following plan. It serves the best interest of America, Israel, Jordan, Europe and the Palestinian people, the many refugees. The Israeli Initiative: The Right Road to Peace

THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE RIGHT ROAD TO PEACE PLAN

#1 - The rehabilitation of the refugees and the dismantling of the camps

"Israel, the US, and the international community will formulate a multi-year program for full and rapid rehabilitation of the Palestinian refugees, while absorbing them as citizens in various countries. During the rehabilitation process, UNRWA, an organization that perpetuates the status of the refugees, will be dismantled, and all residents of refugee camps will be offered permanent places of residence, citizenship, and a generous rehabilitation grant. The refugee camps will also be dismantled following this process.

#2 - Strategic cooperation with the Kingdom of Jordan

"An exchange for the Palestinian 'Partner' who is unable to bring peace, with a reliable partner interested in stability.

"Israel, the US, and the international community will recognize the Kingdom of Jordan as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinians, and Jordan will again grant citizenship status to the residents of Judea and Samaria. The Palestinian Authority in Judea, Samaria and Gaza will no longer be recognized as a representative body, and all weapons will be collected from armed organizations.

"Israel, the US, and the international community will invest in the long-term development of the Kingdom of Jordan to restore and strengthen its economy.

"Israel and Jordan, together with Egypt, Turkey, and the US, will create a strategic organization to halt the Islamic axis based in Tehran, and to promote overall peace between Israel and the Arab countries.

#3 - Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria

"An end to the 'Occupation' and a move to sovereignty, which will prevent Hamas taking control and grant security to Israel and to the countries of the region

"In coordination with Jordan, Israel will extend its sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

"Arab residents of these areas will become citizens of Jordan (Palestine). Their status, their relationship to the two countries, and the nature of the administration in the populated areas will be formulated and set forth in an agreement between the governments of Israel and Jordan.

"What is promising about this plan is that it preserves and strengthens the nation of Israel and establishes a permanent solution to the Palestinian refugee problem. I am in the process of studying this plan and may have more to say about it in the near future."

Conservatives and all Americans should oppose all bailouts. It was government interference by the Democratic Barney Franks, the Bill Clintons, the Chris Dodds and the conservative-in-name-only George Bushes, who caused or precipitated the sub prime loan mess in the first place. Now they think that they have the solution? Okay. Why is there no accountability for the $350 billion that has already been distributed? Why has Bush been allowed to "assist" the car makers with money that has meant to relieve the credit crunch? When the government gets involved, things generally cost more and are generally inefficient. Bush is to blame for not reigning in government growth and spending during the past eight years. Now Obama will multiply that mistake many times over.

The unused bailout money should be recalled and an accounting made of all the money sent to the insurance companies and to the banks before ANY more is distributed. Representatives who permitted the wasteful distribution of the bailout money without any strings attached should be punished. Barney Franks and Chris Dodd should be investigated for their part in the getting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into the trouble in which they find themselves. Jail would be a good place for the likes of Franks and Dodd to contemplate the great damage they have done to America and to our economy.

Practices must change to insure that there is no repetition of the poor lending practices to continue.

Government caused the problem in the first place by forcing banks to make unwise loans.=. Now they're going to fix it? Fat chance. Everything the government touches turns into taxpayer dollar outlays. Let the economy crash and let's pick up the pieces with less government and interference and more 'let the market be free' and less socialist state planning, which never works!

Death is Inevitable in Any War

Kwaayesnama commented on my article, "A Voting Strategy":

"In my bible the fifth commandment clearly states, “Thou shall not kill”.

I am a catholic and I do not belive in abortion, but I also feel strongly that you shall not MURDER.

John McCain, George Bush, Dick Chaney, and Condoleezza Rice are responsible for the murder of over 94,330 innocent people while they looked for nonexistent weapons of mass destruction. Of that total 4,164 were Americans. They are also responsible for the wounding of over 30,734.

I, too, am opposed to abortion. The Vietnam War and the War on Terror Terror generated deaths are few compared to the ongong American atrocity of killing innocent babies. This is where all of America's moral outrage should be channeled.

What do you feel about capital punishment? I suspect that you would be opposed to it. I am not. A convicted murderer had his chance at life, he spit in the face of God and society by taking the life of another, so he should have his life taken.

War is different. I do not agree with the way President Bush has prosecuted the War on Terror in Iraq, but he made that decision and he felt it was the right thing to do. There were weapons of mass destruction. They went to Syria, transported there while this country and the worthless United Nations were dilly dallying around with sanctions and negotiations.

In every war their are casualties. It is inevitable. I served in the Vietnam war. I volunteered. That war was right in that we were trying to stop the communist takeover of Vietnam. The left in this country was successful in helping the Viet Cong win that war. The left in Congress and outside has done everything it could to undermine the American effort in Iraq. If you want to blame anyone for murder, it is the left, Senator Harry "surrender" Reid who caused the needless deaths of many by undermining of the war effort once undertaken. The congress had approved the war and its funding.

If you are surprised when you look at these figures, so was I.

These figures mean that the loss from the two latest conflicts in the Middle East are LESS than the loss of military personnel during Bill Clinton's presidency; when America wasn't even involved in a war!

And, I was even more shocked when I read that in 1980, during the reign of President (Nobel Peace Prize winner) Jimmy Carter, there were 2,392 US military fatalities! I think that these figures indicate that many members of our Media and our Politicians will pick and choose the information on which they report. Of course we all know that they present only those 'facts which support their agenda-driven reporting. But why do so many of them march in lock-step to twist the truth? Where do so many of them get their marching-orders for their agenda?

Do you want further proof? Consider the latest census, of Americans. It shows the following FACTS about the distribution of American citizens, by Race:

European descent .....69.12%
Hispanic ................... 12.5%
Black ..........................12.3%
Asian .......................... 3.7%
Native American ....... 1.0%
Other........................... 2.6%

Now... here are the fatalities by Race; over the past three years in Iraqi Freedom:

I was surprised again... until it became clear to me that the point here is that our mainstream media continues to spin these figures (for political gain). Nothing more!!!

It's all about politics and some politicians are now famous for turning American against American for a vote. Consider Hillary Clinton's stump speech after her Super Tuesday 'victory' stating that the current administration does not listen' to anyone and continues the war costing precious American lives. Yes I might even agree with her, but she should be made to acknowledge her own husband's administration, without having an actual war, sent more soldiers to death during his presidency, and is on record of forcing the military to release Osama when we actually had him detained at the time

I am not suggesting that any particular political party is necessarily right, there is a lot wrong. But, I hope that during the time between now and November, that intelligent Americans can decipher the facts from the spin and the spinners from the leaders; those who seek even more power from those that seek justice, the dividers from the uniters. Over the next months let's be good listeners and see and hear who really tries to divide our nation; and who wants to unite our nation. Who wants to control how our money is spent and who wants our money spent the way we would spend it. Who seeks power and who seeks justice? Who spins the facts and who is genuine. (Very few are on both sides.)
