Abortion is Murder, Fact or Fiction (Opinion)?

Recently I had an online conversation on Facebook with a person who differed with me about the injustice of abortion.

They declared, “Actually, to say abortion is murder is AN OPINION.  Whether to obtain an abortion or not is a difficult decision. Is it better to trade off then? Do you know how many women died in back alley abortions before it was legal and then died from complications? Are those women any less worthy of life? Why can't you let these decisions be between these people and their maker? 

My response:  First, abortion is NOT health care by any stretch of the imagination. Abortion in fact and in 99.9% of the cases abortion is unnecessary and is, in fact, murder. It is not an opinion, but fact and the truth. What else do you can the termination of human life at any point in a human’s lifecycle be considered? Choice, I don’t think so.

The abortion industry lied about the number of “back alley” abortions in the ‘60s and ‘70s. The figure is exaggerated. Would you legalize theft because some innocent people get beaten to death in a robbery? A crime (evil, injustice) is and will always be a crime (evil, injustice) whether the courts or legislatures declare it be or not.

Everyone is worthy of life. It is extremely rare that a woman’s actual physical life is ever in jeopardy necessitating an abortion. That is another lie perpetrated by the wicked, greedy, abortion industry and its advocates.

Abortionists and supporters of abortion most often to not recognize the Creator of life. Therefore in many cases their “maker” is actually themselves or the god of convenience or the. god of pleasure.

IGNORING THE OUTRAGE

U.S. Senate Majority "Leader" Senator Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY) is ignoring the outrage of both Pro-Life and Pro-Abortion individuals around the nation, who were both concerned about the recent investigative reports about the variety of Planned ParentHOOD exposed atrocities. Or maybe he is willfully blinded to the inhumanity, the horror, the misbehavior, the wanton evil that is Planned ParentHOOD. This evening he joined with radical defenders of the indefensible, the likes of Senator Sherrod Brown (Radical Liberal-OH) and voted NO on the defunding  of Planned ParentHOOD.

The final vote was 53 YES and 46 NO. The bill needed 60 votes to pass.

OUT OF TOUCH, OR JUST TOUCHED

This vote seems to me to be just another indication that both the Senate and the House need new GOP leadership. The current GOP "leadership" is less than ineffective. They continue to drop the ball on seemingly every issue that conservatives and Republicans fought so hard for in recent elections to gain majority status. Looking purely at the results since the GOP has gained control of both houses of Congress, San Fran Nancy Pelosi and Dirty Harry Reid still are very much in charge and call all the shots, forwarding the President's destructive progressive agenda.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED

We still have fully-funded and expanding ObamaCare. The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act wallows in the Senate. John Boehner dismissed the House for an much undeserved summer recess before addressing the defunding of the lawless and inhumane Planned Parenthood chamber of horrors. Same with the Senate, where McConnell apparently wanted to avoid confrontation by attaching an amendment to defund Planned Parenthood to the must-pass highway bill and allowed a nearly meaningless stand-alone bill to defund Planned ParentHOOD. This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

The rallying cry of the GOP seems to be, "Keep the status quo at whatever it costs." The cost may be money or principle.

“How the Koch Network Funnels Anonymous Millions to Fight Women's Rights One funding recipient supports causes such as fighting same-sex marriage and outlawing abortion,” is another article I saw today on AlterNet.com. The author, Joan Shipps, describes some of the organizations supported by the Koch brothers. Personally I think the much maligned and marginalized by the media Kochs help to counter the some of the evil advanced by extremist leftist George Soros through his  own "generous" contributions.

First, I have to define the much misused and disingenuous term, “Women’s Rights,” which to the Left primarily means allowing mothers to kill their preborn babies, who are developing human beings.  Actually abortion is a sacred sacrament of the Left. Well, here is what I wrote in response to the biased liberal article identified above:

I could say the same thing and worse, Joan, about leftist funders like George Soros.

Soros aids hundreds of left-wing groups in America each year under the auspices of his Open Society Foundations. Soros established the Program on Reproductive Health and Rights, which has given millions to pro­abort causes. Ellen Chesler, author of Woman of Valor: Margaret Sanger and the Birth Control Movement in America, is director of the Soros ­backed program.

 

The Soros network is decidedly extreme left-wing: pro-abortion, pro-euthanasia, pro-homosexual "marriage", pro-drug legalization, pro-union and pro-government-funded media as well as anti-faith, anti-death penalty and as anti-conservative as they come.
