Did Our Own Government Conspire with Terrorists to Perpetrate the 911 Attacks?

In the above video, Fox News reports that Anwar Al Awlaki dined at the Pentagon within months (about two months after, I have heard) of the September 11th attacks.  Al Awlaki is now not only implicated in the September 11th attacks, but was also allegedly (according to the FBI) a conspirator in the "underwear" bombing, the Fort Hood incident and other terrorist attacks.  This "Al Qaeda region commander" is at the top of the list of the FBI's most wanted and he is the only American citizen on the CIA's "Wanted Dead of Alive" list.  This seems nauseatingly reminiscent of President Clinton's missed opportunity to nab Osama Bin Laden.  So what is really going on here?  Here are two possibilities:

1. The Pentagon itself conspired with terrorists to perpetrate the 911 attacks and possibly other Islamic terrorist attacks.  Or at least they were complicit.

2. The Pentagon is so incompetent, that you should not believe anything that it says.  If they say, "Our intelligence reports show...", you should not believe a word of it.  Our government is not competent to do anything to stop terrorism and you should not believe anything that any President from either party says about smoking guns, WMDs, supposed threats from Iran, plots to hijack aircraft, or plots to blow up the Super Bowl.  You should not believe anything they say about terrorist attacks being prevented with the help of roving wiretaps, waterboarding, or other violations of the Bill of Rights because they're idiots!  And you should especially not believe anything they say about the September 11th attacks.

3.  Al Alawki didn't actually do any of those things, but the Pentagon/CIA/FBI is implicating him just to justify their existence, since they don't seem to be doing anything right.

4. Al Alawki is an excellent chef and Pentagon officials just couldn't resist passing up his offer to serve them roasted lamb with a side of couscous.

5. Both Fox News and the Associated Press are lying about whole "dining at the Pentagon" incident.  In this case, you should believe anything THEY say.

Which one do you think is true?  If anybody reading this can think another possibility (other than some combination of the above), I would be glad to hear it.

I have been watching the House Proceedings on C-Span regarding the Continuing Resolution (CR). Part of the Democratic talking points is the use of “draconian” when referring to many of the proposed spending cuts put forth by the Republicans. A person on a Cleveland.com Political Forum provided a link to an excellent article, which I quote from below, and which redirects the application of that the term “draconian” to where it belongs …

As a taxpayer and your constituent, I respectfully request that you co-sponsor the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.  This bill ensures that tax dollars under the Title X federal family planning assistance program do not go to organizations that perform abortions.

Planned Parenthood received $650 million in federal funds over a seven year period.  It is appalling that an organization that ends innocent, human life and has a history of exploiting women, evidenced once again in the recently released Live Action videos showing Planned Parenthood staff aiding and abetting sex trafficking and the cover-up of sexual abuse of minors (Ohio) would receive any federal funds, let alone hundreds of millions of dollars.

Here it is mid February and I just now finished reading the January 2011 edition of Townhall Magazine. I bought the magazine specifically for their cover article, which intrigued me. The cover read, “The 50 Most Dangerous Liberals in America & Their Secret Agendas Exposed.’ The following is a list of only the top ten “Most Unwanted” or “Most Wanted” depending on your point of view. Following the list I make some general comments.

#1  -  George Soros – Businessman and Billionaire Liberal Financier; Founder and Chairman of Open Society Foundation.  

#2  -  Eric Holder  -  Attorney General of the United States

#3  -  Barack Obama  -  President of the United States

#4  -  Cass Sunstein – White House Regulation Czar

#5  -  Cecile Richards  -  President of Planned Parenthood and Planned Parenthood Action Fund

#6  -  Lisa Jackson  -  Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency

#7  -  Kathleen Sebelius  -  Secretary of Health and Human Services

The majority, or 7 of the 10, on the list are directly subsidized by the taxpayers of America. Those seven “work” for the government. The wizard behind the curtain is George Soros, who has funded much of the Leftist Movement. This man not only liberal, his actions are evil. His money has put feet to his fiery, wicked, anti-American philosophy. This man was one of the powerful forces, along with the overwhelmingly biased media, responsible for putting the radical leftist couple Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack & Michelle Obama into the Presidency. Chairman Soros’ tentacles reach throughout the list of the top ten. John Podesta is Soros’ hand picked leader to head the super leftist Center for (Un)American Progress (Subversion). Townhall Magazine writes that “Podesta’s agenda at CAP is exactly what you’d expect:

Temple Grandin (2010), a movie review

Temple Grandin is a made-for-TV movie worthy of an Academy Award! This is an unusually inspiring story based on the life of a real person. It is a powerful dramatic presentation. Temple is the name of an autistic girl who grows up to her full potential in life despite numerous obstacles. It is the saga of intense parental love, of a deeply devoted and caring teacher and one determined soul, Temple herself.

My sister was visiting me from out of state this weekend and purchased this DVD for me. It was everything she said it was and more. We first went to a video rental store to borrow the film, but both copies were rented out. Next we tried a big box electronic store, no luck. Then we tried a large discount department store, that is where we hit a bulls eye.

I watched the movie this afternoon. In the sixties autism was pretty much newly identified as a problem. The best advice that the doctors offered Temple’s mother was institutionalization. However, Temple’s mother refused to give up on her daughter. She apparently did her best to teach her at home initially. Temple did attend public school. However, she was relentlessly taunted by her schoolmates. It was at the boarding school to which her insistent, yet exasperated mother finally sent her. It was at this boarding school where Temple was challenged and encouraged by one especially caring, concerned and inspirational teacher.

It was this science teacher who saw the special qualities and potential of this autistic young woman. In fact, he eventually encouraged her even pursue college.


The science teacher portrayed in the movie made me think of another science teacher here in Ohio, John Freshwater. Mr. Freshwater was a caring and devoted teacher, beloved by his students. His reward? He was terminated from his job because he had a bible on his desk and that he may have taught that there was an alternative to evolution! This is how good teachers are treated in 2011!

She also had supportive relatives, where Temple spent her summers on their cattle ranch. On the ranch she discovered her gift and love for animals. This led her to pursue college level work in animal science. She eventually earned a bachelor and a master degree.

The movie shows the great potential in any and every human being in which the Creator has endowed with unique gifts and abilities. One key principle was this autistic person was different but not less human or less valuable than anyone else.

RATING

I give this movie ***** out of *****. The acting was superb. Claire Danes accurately captured Temple Grandin, according to Temple. Julia Ormond played Temple's devoted mother realistically and respectfully. 

Overall, the movie is hopeful, inspirational and offers a clear demonstration of the power of love and purpose. It also offers an insight into the wisdom and blessed design of God for nature and for His highest creation, man.

I highly recommend without reservation.

Go Allen West, America!

I watched, off and on, some of the American Conservative Union's CPAC convention on C-Span on-line this weekend. I heard a part of Ann Coulter’s speech, which was her typical acerbic, yet accurate and warranted assault on the Left. However, Rep. Allen West topped Ann this evening. He gave a rousing speech. All I have to say is, “Allen West for President. He is the polar opposite of the current occupier of the oval office. He gave a very passionate and patriotic speech. The man loves America, whereas there remains a deep doubt regarding the same in respect to the person serving in the White House tonight.

Become an Inside Poll Worker

An inside poll worker is someone who is appointed to work at the polls on Election Day to make sure that the election is being conducted fairly.  You should become an inside poll worker.  Why?  Well, the following story will illustrate the point.

There were several races in my county in 2010 which were very close.  In one such race, only 23 votes separated the two candidates.  The losing candidate claimed that there were some provisional ballots which were not counted, that should have been.  So the case ended up in federal court (where it does not belong).  The losing candidate claimed that there was some “poll worker error” which resulted in some voters voting in the wrong precinct.  She claimed that the federal court had the right to reverse decision not to count these ballots on the basis of the “equal protection” clause of the 14^th Amendment. 

This is really bad for several reasons.  Whether or not the initial result of the election is eventually reversed is only a minor part of this story.  The real danger is that the Federal court could set a new precedent giving them more authority to get involved in local elections.  Imagine unelected, federal judges telling us how we are supposed to conduct our elections, and in some cases telling us who the winner is! 

It might be too late to stop this dangerous precedent from being handed down by these corrupt judges.  If you become an inside poll worker, you can possibly help to stop future cases from being litigated in similar manner. 

Although I believe that the responsibility of finding the proper polling place belongs to the voter, a poll worker may assist a voter.  Doing so will save a lot--both in saving money spend on lawsuits and by saving us from the tyranny of heavy-handed federal judges.  We want inside poll workers who are fair and unbiased and who will help voters (regardless of their party affiliation) to find their proper polling location if they show up at wrong precinct.  We especially need poll workers who are not registered Democrats to work the polls in heavily Democratic precincts so that there is a balance and the Democrats can’t get away with any funny business.

Being an inside poll worker would basically involve the following:

1.  Completing a poll worker training session

2.  Working the polls on Election Day for the entire 13 hours that the polls are open

I decided not to check any of the boxes, but I did answer the survey.  I consider all of listed items to be symptoms of a much greater underlying problem.  Furthermore, they seem to be based on selfish motivations.  (What is in it for me?)  There is not much there about justice and liberty, though I think some, if not all of the problems would be solved if we did pursue a course of righteousness and freedom.  So I wrote the following in the space provided under “Other”:

Stop all legalized abortions, stop the wars, abolish all federal activities not authorized by the Constitution (see Article I, section 8), abolish the IRS, repeal the 17th Amendment, and acknowledge that the 14th Amendment was never properly ratified
