The Whole Armor of God, Part 14A

Today I resume my series of articles commenting on the concepts and principles involved in the Armor of God, which the Apostle Paul described in the New Testament. This is the topic of the Sunday school lesson, which I am currently teaching.

“Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might” (Ephesians 6:10).

“Being strong in the Lord” means relying on His power which obviously means to not be involved in occult practices, which are Satanic activities. These include, but are not limited to, such things as witchcraft, séances, Ouija boards, taro-cards, communication with the dead (necromancy), astrology, and other Satanic practices. We do not do God’s work with Satan’s power.

The Scriptures, which address some of these practices, are as follows:

Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 18:9-13 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

Isaiah 8:19, 20 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Daniel 2:27, 28a Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, show unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.

Though Daniel was the head wise man he did not rely on what the other wise men relied on for the ability to give counsel. He relied on God. As well did his three friends: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

King Saul on the other hand sought out a medium when he could no longer obtain an answer from God for his inquires on what to do. The account of it is recorded in I Samuel 28:3-19; 31:13, 14 and I Chronicles 10:13, 14.

I Samuel 28:3-19 1 Samuel 28:3-6 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land. And the Philistines gathered themselves together, and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa. And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled. And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

1 Samuel 28:7-9 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?

1 Samuel 28:10, 11 And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing. Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.

1 Samuel 28:12-14 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul. And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

1 Samuel 28:15-19 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David: Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day. Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and tomorrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.

I Samuel 31:3-6 And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers. Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him. So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armour bearer, and all his men, that same day together.

I Chronicles 10:13,14 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it; And inquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

This is written as an example for us lest we follow King Saul’s conduct (I Corinthians 10:6-12).
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall (I Cor.10:6-12).

Diagnosing Obama’s mental state

Michael Savage wrote a book titled, Liberalism is a Mental Disorder. Obviously Barack Hussein Obama (aka Barry Soetoro) is very much a liberal through and through and fits that description to a tee (golf not TEA as in TeaParty!). So, it can be surmised that Obama has a mental disorder.


Obama also suffers from having an apparent Debt Wish. He is motivated, actually intentionally or unconsciously obsessed, with increasing the debt in everything he thinks, says and does.


In addition, Obama has a severe case of Lack of Attention to the Deficit Disorder (LADD). This is a potentially fatal (to America) or terminal condition. Unfortunately is not so rare a disorder especially among Democrats and RINO politicians.


The only remedy is complete rest. Ideally Obama should go back to Chicago and enjoy resting on his undeserved laurels in retirement. It is either now, voluntarily, or it is in November of 2012 when the people force him into an early retirement.

Tuesday, July 19 House will vote to cut, cap, and balance

The following is part of an email I received from U.S. Representative Jack Kingston (R-GA-1) regarding the most important piece legislation that will be discussed, voted on, and enacted this year!

Next week, the House will take up debate on the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act of 2011. This bill will provide immediate spending cuts, implement a plan similar to mine which would limit spending as a percentage of the economy, and enact a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Then, and only then, it would allow for an increase in the debt limit.


I plan to support this bill because it addresses the need to change the trajectory of spending. We are in this debt crisis not because the debt ceiling is too low, but because spending is too high. Since President Obama took office, the national debt has increased by $3.7 trillion – more than the country acquired from 1776 until 1992!


The Cut, Cap, and Balance Act is a constitutional, permanent solution to put an end to the spending-driven debt crisis and save our children and grandchildren from a bankrupt future. To read more about the plan, click here.

Scapegoat: Now blame it all on the Tea Party

The Left, especially the politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama and liberal so-called journalists have been bashing the Tea Party movement incessantly for the last few years. Here are a few excerpts from Ceasar and York’s article.

With the breakdown of (debt ceiling) negotiations on a so-called grand bargain on the debt limit demanded by President Obama, liberal commentators have sought a convenient scapegoat to account for the impasse. Not surprisingly, they have begun by rounding up the usual suspect: the Tea Party. Its intransigence, so the line goes, has sunk this great deal.

The authors identify the primary weapon of choice that the liberals bring out of their arsenal of dirty tricks politics to attack this growing and vital grassroots movement.

…In the most malicious and persistent charge–that of racism, which serves as a prophylactic to protect O’bama from any criticism–the evidence offered is a small number of African Americans in the movement. But how many African Americans, already the most liberal group in America, should one expect to join a movement opposing Barack Obama? And of course when one does, like Herman Cain, and upon a strong showing in a debate wins the respect of the hordes of racists, he immediately becomes subject to the most unseemly attacks by those free of any hint of racial prejudice …

Masterfully, Ceasar and York conclude their article with a summary of what boils down to be the ultimate showdown – the battle of twenty-twelve.

At the end of the day, the choice the nation faces is pretty clear–even if both sides will at one day face a point of reckoning. One side wishes a more constrained federal government and greater austerity in our welfare programs. It will hold or cut these programs to the point where it finds it cannot go much further, at which time other remedies may need to be considered. If one wants a model for this approach, it is necessary to look no further than the policies of some of the red-state governments (or Great Britain). The other side wishes a federal government at and beyond the level of 2008 and beyond the current level. If one wants a model for this approach, the blue-state of Illinois or California will do just fine. This side will continue to maintain and expand government, cutting national defense to the bone and adding more “revenues,” up to the point it becomes literally unsustainable. That point has not been reached yet.

This is the choice the nation faces. As of 2011, it has not been definitively made. Perhaps 2012 will be the year of the Tea Party.

I would take it one step further, 2012 must be the year the Tea Party movement matures and fully blooms, otherwise America as we know it will be no more. In other words, 2012 must be a ratcheted repeat of 2010 where more intransigent entrenched RINOs (like John Boehner and Lindsey Graham) and radicalized Democrats are expelled from Washington, D.C. and many more constitutional conservatives are brought in to reinforce the Jim DeMints, the Rand Pauls, the Jim Jordans, and the Allen Wests.

2012 must also be the year that the Congress and the President prepare, pass, and adhere to a prescribed budget and begin to severely shrink government down to a size originally contemplated and designed by our wise founders.

I got message below from Lifeline Ministries. Lifeline is a missions organization serving many North American nations including Haiti, Honduras, and Mexico. They help the poor and disadvantaged as well as teach them about Jesus.  I was especially touched by this particular story. July 11, 2011 Carlos Cojon and his wife Paty are the Directors of the Omoa Children's Home in Honduras.  Carlos wears several hats, including Honduras Administrator, but Carlos and Paty's love for the girls simply radiates from them.  We thank God every day for this ministry, the Cojon's, and the changes we see in the lives of these precious girls. Many precious little girls have come to live at the Home and some have very ugly stories that are hard to repeat.  Most all of these girls have been neglected. Some abused. One was born in prison.  Others molested.  But each grab your heart and within days and weeks they come to recognize that their new-found family loves them deeply.  My hat goes off to Carlos and Paty for what they do.  It is a hard ministry.   It is even more amazing to see how God has worked in the lives of these girls.  Some of them now are getting higher education, thanks to generous donors.  And one of our oldest girls now works at Lifeline's clinic.  The older girls have all claimed their own personal faith and relationship with our Lord.  They have been baptized and are active in the church and community outreach to the youth. Please praise God and join us in praying for a very special little girl that has recently been placed in the home... Karla, the newest "angel" at the Omoa Children's Home Hello everyone! My wife and I have ministered almost 6 years at the OmoaChildren's Home, and God is giving us great experiences, especially when new "angels"  come to our home. This year we were praying for two girls and, in God´s time, they came three weeks ago.  But we did not know that God had another angel for the Children Home.  Last week we got a call from the police and the Public Prosecutor's  Office asking us for a place  for one  special girl. She was at ahospital because she was rescued from a sad situation.   My wife went to see her at the hospital and  really her situation was deplorable.  She is 11 and can´t speak; she could not walk because she was used to being tied up to a chair. And since Karla was used to being tied up she never learned to eat like a normal person, etc. Karla  does not have parents; they  are dead.  Karla was under the care of one of her sisters who is 19 years old  and she tied her up.   The police, together with Public Prosecutor Child  Rescue,  heard about our home and  they asked  us to  have Karla temporarily (I don´t know how long is "temporary") but we accepted this challenge. INDEPENDENT PAYMENT ADVISORY BOARD (IPAB): “This is Not Just 'Advisory'” says U.S. Rep. Diane Black

The Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) is a "cost cutting" panel that was established as part of the new health care law (infamously known as ObamaCare). Although the IPAB will technically only produce recommendations, those recommendations take effect automatically unless Congress (by a 2/3 majority) votes to block them. This creates a dangerous precedent for overriding the normal legislative process.

IPAB is one of many bad provisions of ObamaCare. ObamaCare must be repealed, defunded before it takes away more liberties of Americans.

Cut, Cap, & BALANCE – Getting the Complete Picture

The video deals with how to handle the massive deficit, debt and Democrat desire to again raise an already dangerously high and going-through-the-roof debt ceiling.

As RSC Chairman Jim Jordan and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor wrote in their USA Today op-ed today:  

…Always a concern, the national debt has grown into a malignant cancer on our economy. Attacking this cancer at its root means cutting spending. If we do not, the U.S. will face a job-killing debt crisis within just a few years.

Promises, Promises - Near-term spending cuts are necessary to alter the course, but they will not be enough without long-term changes. Likewise, promises of cuts 10 years from now mean little without a way to enforce them. The only way to truly guarantee delivery from future politicians is if the Constitution demands it. That's why the House will vote next Wednesday on a balanced budget amendment that would require supermajorities in both chambers to run a deficit, raise the debt ceiling, raise taxes and spend more than 18% of GDP…

Why Evil Exists in the World Today, Part 8

We see evil all around us today. TV, newspapers, and radio all chronicle the ravages of evil. Today I conclude my series on “Why Evil Exists …” I resume my “Armor of God” series next week.

If you wanted someone to love you, wouldn’t you want them to love you of their own free will, rather than because they had no other choice.

Satan Will Be Eternally Destroyed

Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 20:7-10, “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Will you be joining Satan in the Lake of Fire?

Sadly, many will join Satan in the Lake of Fire to be tormented by fire endlessly.

They are the children of the devil.

Matthew 13:24-30 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:36-43 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Those who did not help Christians will join Satan.

Matthew 25:41-46 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Those who take the mark of the beast will accompany Satan.

Revelation 14:9-11 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Whoever’s name is not written in the Book of Life will suffer eternally with Satan.

Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Many follow the path to destruction.

Matthew 7:13, 14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

However, few follow the narrow way; Jesus is the only way to God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The question is, “Would you like to join Satan in the Lake of Fire?” If not, then you can pray to God confessing to Him that you are a sinner. Invite Jesus into your heart. A sample prayer is, “Lord Jesus Christ forgive me of my sins and come into my heart.”  Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

Freedom Flotilla 2 and Gaza’s Hobby, “Guns, Guns, Guns”

I guess I missed the story of the second attempted “Freedom” Flotilla. The “Freedom Flotilla 2 was another attempt to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza. In this post I first include a quote about the story from Jim Holt (of TheGatewayPundit.com), then second a funny satirical song by an Israeli group (Latma) about the incident.

“Even the Obama-inspired ship was a failure – Last year Barack Obama’s good friend Rashid Khalidi raised cash for a ship named “The Audacity of Hope” to smash through the Israel’s Gaza Blockade. After months of fundraising his group finally raised enough cash for the mission. We Gotta Stop the Tax and Spenders in Both Parties!

On Tuesday, the day after the Independence Day holiday the USA Today ran an editorial, “GOP rigidity on taxes threatens debt deal.” I took that editorial as to be heavily slanted or biased toward the Democrat Party position. What impressed me was that they simultaneously published an opposing view offered by Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, titled, “Just say no to higher taxes.” Here is an excerpt of what Norquist said his opposing editorial.

Barack Obama became president the federal government was spending $2.9 trillion a year of taxpayer money. Today, less than three years later, federal spending has jumped to $3.8 trillion each year. What are we getting for the extra $1 trillion spent in our name each year? Chicago-style government. Taxpayer-funded goodies for the politically connected.

…While Americans lucky enough to work (unemployment has increased from 7.8% on his inauguration day to 9.1% today) earn an average of $60,000 a year in salary and benefits, federal workers now average more than $120,000 in salary and benefits. Obama is Robin Hood in reverse.

What we receive for Obama’s wasted trillion-a-year in new debt, piled atop mounting trillions, is a gangster government. We got an ever growing government which rewards its gumbas for their faithful support with our hard-tax dollars.

Now is the time for the Republicans to stand and to emphatically say “No” to the tax and spenders. We have reached beyond the end of the road and must begin to correct our course now, while we still can. We are counting on the House of Representatives to take the lead because it seems that leaders of both parties will not or cannot lead in this battle.

Budget Battle: Dems trying to game GOP

In the article quoted above the author expresses the hope that House Speaker Boehner will not get suckered or played by the axis of fiscal evil into agreeing to any kind of tax increases and thereby alienating the GOP base that so invigorated a dying political party last November. These are real tax increases the Dems want to extricate from the Republicans. Tax increases will fuel their wanton spending, while simultaneously driving forward their socialist agenda and appeasing their multi-diverse special interests.


This same axis of evil will promise meaningless mega future budget cuts, but will give little up in terms of immediate spending curtailment. In other words, they will lie with abandon to get their way. They will use lying in the same way that Muslims use it to accomplish their political-militarist-religious goals. The end justifies the means.


The Republican Congressional leaders will doom themselves, their party and America if they do not heed the cry of their base and the majority of Americans with a single minded purpose to stop the wasteful spending that continues to drive up the deficit and debt of our nation. If this causes a government shutdown over raising the debt roof, so be it. If the Republicans cave on this issue, like they meekly did on the FY2011 budget fiasco, many will be looking for new careers!

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter: The Change in Obama’s Hope and Change

U.S. Representative Thaddeus McCotter from Michigan announced Saturday that he is running for President. Here is a YouTube video where McCotter comments  about the change wrought by President Obama. Obama's Ambsassador to China, Guilt by Association?

Recently announced Presidential Candidate Jon Huntsman joins the left-of-center GOP presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in the race to the top job. These are RINOs.

Haven’t we learned from of 2008 and the 2010 elections that the majority of Americans do not want Big Government politicians of ANY ilk? The establishment, traditional, country club Republicans do want another George W. or John McCain. They want to perpetuate the conversion of America to socialism and to eventually submit to global governance. It is just a matter of degrees in party leadership elites. Bush I and Bush II were just socialism lite, while Obama has proven to be hard-core socialist in nearly everything he does and does not do like insisting on raising the debt without any restrictions whatsoever.

We need someone in the White House who respects the constitution and America’s founding principles, not a revamped or, revised, a new more relevant constitution that comports to a left leaning vision.

Getting back to former Utah Governor Huntsman, who is also the media’s choice, just like John McCain was their darling. McCain was their favorite, until he was officially nominated and then they media championed Obama. The Huntsman campaign sent me an email that began:

I can tell you with confidence I will be a different kind of president. Just look at my record as Governor of Utah, and you will see I am the candidate who possesses a completely unique package of skills, values and leadership that can finally, actually change our country...

Gov. Huntsman will be different alright, he will not be a constitutional conservative. According to OnTheIssues.com some of Huntsman's values are listed below, Obama has been very effective in bringing change to America - unfortunately the wrong change. i am afraid Gov. Huntsman will be carrying out the same unwise changes that the current President has implemented.

Cap and Trade – he is a believer in man-caused global warming?

• Make Utah the premier destination for renewable energy. (Jan 2009)
• Congress should cap greenhouse-gas pollution. (Nov 2007)

Homosexual Agenda – he supports it

• Supports civil unions and other rights for same-sex couples. (May 2011)

Healthcare – he has flip-flopped on requiring individual mandate

• Supported individual mandate in 2007; opposes it now. (Jun 2011)

Immigration – he is pro-illegal immigration

• Vetoed repeal of college tuition for illegal immigrants. (May 2011)
• Border fence repulses me; inconsistent with America's image. (May 2011)

With at least these four key issues, I don’t see a great deal of difference between Huntsman and the current occupier of the White House. He doesn’t even concur with alleged platform of the GOP. He is antithetical to much of what a constitutionalist or Tea Party participant believe. Basically he is an Olympia Snowe-Susan Collins kind of a Republican, which isn’t good … I like Upstate Voice Scott’s description of Huntsman, “a Progressive NEOCON,” a more apt handle could not be presented!

Why Evil Exists in the World Today, Part 7

We see evil all around us today. TV, newspapers, and radio all chronicle the ravages of evil. I am continuing a new series today, taking a break from my current series, “Armor of God.”

The angelic rebellion led by Satan

You may notice that it was Satan who caused Job’s difficulties. Yet God said that Satan had moved Him against Job without cause. This means that it was God’s power that Satan was using.

Satan has a multitude of angelic followers (devils or demons). In revelation 12:4 they are referred to as the stars of heaven. They could not be the stars that shine in the sky for they would destroy the earth if even one hit it. Also, they are so far away they could never reach the earth within a short amount of time. .

Revelation 12:1-9, “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Satan caused a third of God’s angels to follow him. They came to earth and are deceiving people into doing what Satan wants. Don’t be one of those fooled by Satan. Realize that following deception is one of the causes of evil on the earth.

We the People Convention held in Columbus, Ohio, Day Two

I had the opportunity and privilege to attend the second day of the two-day inaugural We the People Convention held at the Columbus Convention Center in downtown Columbus, Ohio yesterday and today. Over 1,000 fellow patriots attended this inspiring event. Many Tea Party Movement participants, constitutionalists, libertarians, and conservatives attended this milestone event. There were four breakout sessions in the morning and three in the afternoon. The keynote speaker at the luncheon was John Fund, Wall Street Journal writer, author and speaker. Herman Cain, presidential candidate and businessman, was featured at the evening banquet, which I did not attend.

A variety of state and national organization participated as exhibitors. Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity, and the John Birch Society were a few of the national constitutional and conservative organizations.

John McManus, President of the John Birch Society conducted an especially informative session which exposed Neo Conservatives such as William F. Buckley, Dick Cheney, the Bush I and II, John McCain and Newt Gingrich. He really opened my eyes to the shortcomings and dangers of the Neoconservative movement in the Republican Party. For one thing they tend to be supportive of many socialistic and unconstitutional policies.

One of the reasons I attended this convention were the sessions on internet tools and how they could be used to advance the Tea Party Movement and its push to limit the size and scope of government, obtaining fiscal accountability, and reigning in the out-of-control power grab, freedom robbing and spending habits of big government.

I talked to one of the convention volunteers and he said that the convention would be held again in 2012. This year’s and next year’s convention will be critical in equipping and in rallying the troops and to use all tools and resources at our disposal to defeat the enemy. That is, to continue the purging of the Congress and Presidency of NeoCons, RINOs, and Democrats, which began in November 2010. Our very future and existence as a nation depends on it!

Eric Holder, What did you know about ATF’s Project Gunrunner? Did you authorize it?

If Eric Holder, the U.S. Attorney General, authorized the failed, foolish, flawed, and fatal (to at least one Border Patrol Agent) project, then he should be fired! This fiasco is just another indication of how inept the Obama Administration is in governing this once great land. It is also just another reason to remove this President from office as soon as possible. November 2012 can't come too soon!
