It's Called Christmas with a Capital "C"

Aren’t you feed up with the whole "happy holidays" alternative to saying "Merry Christmas"? The music group Go Fish sings about what Christmas really commemorates. It is not the boast to the economy or the giving and receiving of gifts that is most important.

Click on the YouTube video above to hear the Go Fish group's sing and the listen to the narration of comedian Brad Stine on the subject of Christmas . . . Here are the lyrics of the Go Fish song:

It's Called Christmas with a Capital "C"

Well I went to a coffee shop
To get a cup of mocha
The lady at the counter said, "Happy Holidays"
I said, "Thanks lady I am pretty hap
"But there's only one
Holiday that makes me feel that way."
.
(chorus)
It's called Christmas
What more can I say?
It's about the birth of Christ
And you can't take that away
You can call it something else
But that's not what it will be
It's called Christmas

God's got a law
And we have pretty much destroyed it
We gonna get judged
There's a way to avoid it
But Jesus came down
To take the punishment from me
He did it for you too
So maybe you can see why

(chorus)

It's called Christmas
What more can I say?
It's about the birth of Christ
And you can't take that away
You can call it something else
But that's not what it will be
It's called Christmas with a capital "C"
.
. . .
.

Have a very Merry Christmas and

a Happy and Healthy New Year!
