Rick Santorum endorsedand campaigned for Arlen Specter, one of the most God-hating Senators we have ever had. Pro-abortion, pro-gay rights Specter spearheaded the effort to kill the Robert Bork nomination to the Supreme Court when Reagan was President. "He's with us on the issues that matter," said Santorum. Specter has always been openly in favor of abortion funding. After Specter switched parties, he voted for Obamacare. And while Santorum claims to be pro-life, he has voted at least 3 times for DHHS appropriations bills which supply Planned Parenthood with your tax dollars to murder babies. Santorum has also endorsed and campaigned for partial birth abortion supporter Christie Todd Whitman.
There have been many bills introduced into the Congress which seek to recognize the personhood of humans from conception. There are arguments among pro-lifers about which one is best. There are ones which use the Due Process and Equal Protection clauses of the 14th Amendment along with Congress' power to enforce it. There are ones that use the Exceptions clause of Article III section 2 to strip abortion jurisdiction from the Supreme Court and the congressional power to create and regulate the lower courts. Others say that the only possible solution is a constitutional amendment. Many professing pro-life congressmen will only support the type of legislation that they think is best. But Rick Santorum has never sponsored or cosponsored ANY bill or resolution recognizing the personhood of the unborn.
