We the People keep asking our representatives and senators, "Can you hear us now?" The answer is obviously, "No." For example, the vote on the motion to proceed on the healthcare "reform" bill, or Obama-Pelosi-Reid-Care debate in the Senate last week, was an answer. Another is the President's determination to go to Copenhagen and push curbing carbon emissions. This despite the majority of Americans and many scientists being opposed to Cap and Trade and all the nonsense about Global Warming, Carbon Dioxide as a pollutant, and the issuing Carbon Credits as a "solution.." It is all pure bunk.

What a Creator, What a Creation!

“The heavens declare His righteousness …” (Psalm 97:6). Righteousness refers to a person’s uprightness or just moral character. So how can we see God’s moral correctness and justness by observing the heavens? Colonel Sanders said of the food chain he founded, “We do chicken right”. He did chicken so right that he was practically a billionaire when he died. Many agreed with their money by purchasing his “finger licken good” chicken. Righteousness then would be doing what you do correctly.
When we look at the heavens, we can see that it was done correctly for life to exist on earth. There are four basic forces: 1. Gravitation, 2.The strong nuclear force, 3. The weak nuclear force, and 4. Electromagnetism. Each of these forces have their set strengths and if they were different, either higher or lower, life could not exist.
The sun loses its mass at a rate of 4,000,000 tons of matter each second, while the earth receives 3/10,000,000,000 of this in energy for itself. If this energy was reduced by 5% the earth would freeze up and all those living on earth would die. The mass of the sun is 744 times the mass of all the planets with the sun having 98% of the total mass of the solar system. Gravity then holds the planets in place as they circle the sun.
The nuclear force is what holds the nucleus of the atom together which is made up of positively charged protons & sometimes neutrons and they repel other nuclei which are also positively charged. This force does not extend much of a distance, only a few trillionths of an inch. When the nuclei of several atoms are forced together a thermonuclear reaction takes place. If the force of gravity were less the sun would not shine since the hydrogen atom must be crushed and heated to 10,000,000 degrees Celsius for a thermonuclear reaction to take pace.
The electromagnetic force is the electrical force between the electron and the nucleus of the atom. The electron is negatively charged and orbits around the nucleus. This is where electricity comes from: the movement of electrons from atom to atom. There is a magnetic field surrounding a conductor having a flow of electrons, which is electricity. The sun is 865,000 miles in diameter providing a stable source of light, heat, and energy to sustain life on earth. Climate change or is it Climategate?
Frozen Stiff AlgoreToday the local newspaper, the Mansfield (Ohio) News-Journal, published an editorial, titled “Climate change is an accelerating threat,” which appeared originally in the Houston Chronicle newspaper under the banner, “As a crucial climate change conference nears, more evidence of a warming globe.”
I read this editorial with astonishment. The editors ignored the facts. They chose to beLIEve the global warming lie. They repeat falsehood after falsehood, which apparently is the prescribed tack of the Left. Repeat something often enough and you’ll convince many that a lie is really ‘truth’.
The Houston Chronicle editor(s) are very representative of the Leftist viewpoint and agenda. The Bible warned of a time when men will exchange truth for a lie. That time has arrived. First, there is no God. Then, pre-born human babies are NOT human beings, but merely globs of tissue. Now, we are being lectured about man-made global warming, global cooling, global gobblely-gook, or whatever!
At a time when America’s economy is tanking, foolish and/or destructive extreme environmentalism flourishes and infects the sensibilities of this nation. President Barry Soetoro alias Barack Obama is about to gallivant off again to participate in that erudite elite gathering of global warming alarmists in Copenhagen to espouse and inflict their venomous lies upon the nations of the world. Ironically, he stops in Copenhagen, Denmark on his way to pick up his highly undeserved Nobel Peace Prize in neighboring Norway.
In regard to the editorial content, I have a few remarks. Any one of these things, in and of themselves does not really matter. But.... when you add them up one by one you get a phenomenal score that points to the fact that our Obama is determined to make America over into a Marxist/Socialist society. All of the items in the preceding paragraphs have been put into place. All can be documented very easily. Before you disavow this, do an Internet search. The last paragraph alone is not yet cast in stone. You and I will write that paragraph. Will it read as above or will it be a more happy ending for most of America? Personally, I like happy endings.
If you are an Obama Supporter, please do not be angry with me because I think your president is a socialist. There are too many facts supporting this. If you seek the truth you will be richer for it. Don't just belittle the opposition. Search for the truth. I did. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Constitutionalist, Libertarians and what have you, we all need to pull together. We all must pull together or watch the demise of a society that we all love and cherish. If you are a religious person, pray for our nation.
Never before in the history of America have we been confronted with problems so huge that the very existence of our country is in jeopardy. Don't rely on most television news and what you read in the newspapers for the truth. Search the Internet. Yes, there is a lot of bad information, lies and distortions there too but you are smart enough to spot the fallacies. Newspapers are a dying breed. They are currently seeking a bailout from the government. Do you really think they are about to print the truth? Obama praises all the television news networks except Fox, who he has waged war against. There must be a reason. He does not call them down on any specifics, just a general battle against them. If they lie, he should call them out on it, but he doesn't. Please, find the truth, it will set you free.

Any one of these things, in and of themselves does not really matter. But.... when you add them up one by one you get a phenomenal score that points to the fact that our Obama is determined to make America over into a Marxist/Socialist society. All of the items in the preceding paragraphs have been put into place. All can be documented very easily. Before you disavow this, do an Internet search. The last paragraph alone is not yet cast in stone. You and I will write that paragraph. Will it read as above or will it be a more happy ending for most of America? Personally, I like happy endings.
If you are an Obama Supporter, please do not be angry with me because I think your president is a socialist. There are too many facts supporting this. If you seek the truth you will be richer for it. Don't just belittle the opposition. Search for the truth. I did. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Constitutionalist, Libertarians and what have you, we all need to pull together. We all must pull together or watch the demise of a society that we all love and cherish. If you are a religious person, pray for our nation.
Never before in the history of America have we been confronted with problems so huge that the very existence of our country is in jeopardy. Don't rely on most television news and what you read in the newspapers for the truth. Search the Internet. Yes, there is a lot of bad information, lies and distortions there too but you are smart enough to spot the fallacies. Newspapers are a dying breed. They are currently seeking a bailout from the government. Do you really think they are about to print the truth? Obama praises all the television news networks except Fox, who he has waged war against. There must be a reason. He does not call them down on any specifics, just a general battle against them. If they lie, he should call them out on it, but he doesn't. Please, find the truth, it will set you free.
Our biggest enemy is not China, Russia, or Iran; no, our biggest enemy is a contingent of politicians in Washington DC.

The government wants to dictate to me how I light my home. The government needs to get out of my bedroom, den, kitchen, living room, basement, and closet. The energy 'efficient' bulbs are more dangerous (contain mercury) and produce less light than do traditional light bulbs. This is another case of the government wanting to control our lives. They think they know better than We the People what is best for us.

I think that the market is the best determinate of what product or process that are good for the consumer. Let the consumer choose. Government mandates rob the people of individual freedom. Government's role might be to provide information on the pro and cons of the various types of light bulbs, but that is it.

The Manhattan Declaration
The Manhattan Declaration was drafted by three prominent evangelical leaders including Chuck Colson. It is a document that is a pledge against supporting abortion (and other forms of murder), immoral sexual relationships, and giving in to limits on freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion. Over 62,000 have signed this pledge. To add your name, click here. But be careful, if you sign, that you agree to everything it says and that you are really willing to live up to the pledge. I wrote the following letter to contact at the Manhattan Declaration.
To whom it may concern,
While I agree with the spirit and intent of the Manhattan Declaration, I can't sign it as written because I don't agree with everything in it.
The most glaring error is the phrase "which made modern democracy possible". The Founding Fathers utterly denounced democracy as a dangerous form of government where guaranteed rights are subject to the whims of the majority and demagoguery. We are (or at least we are supposed to be) most decidedly and exclusively a republic.
While I agree that no fault divorce should not be tolerated in the church, Jesus clearly taught that this should not (and will not) be prohibited by civil authorities. Note his clarification of the Pharisees' question: "All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given." Matt 19:11 (KJV).
The document refers to the necessity of "forsaking all others" and warns against allowing polygamy. While I agree that God's original plan for marriage was one man and one woman, and that homosexual relations and multiple partners for women are most decidedly an abomination to the Lord, I challenge anyone to definitively prove from Scripture that what Abraham, Jacob, David, and Solomon did should prohibited by civil law or even that it should not be allowed in the church. At what point in time did the acceptability of polygamy end? Show me the scripture if you know it. (I agree that the bishops and deacons of the church must be married to "but one wife", but not all men in the church hold this office.)
In the beginning it says, “…which we sign as individuals, not on behalf of our organizations”, but in the end the pledge concerns “our institutions”. I am not the executive of any organization. You should add a phrase to indicate that this pledge is not just for institutions, but private individuals can also participate.
I completely agree in principle with the last paragraph of the Declaration and would be inclined to sign it, but one should be warned that one must do so carefully and be prepared to live up to this promise. A promise not kept will weaken the cause. “…we will not comply with any edict that purports to compel our institutions to participate…” implies a refusal to pay taxes if any portion of it is used for the listed activities. If this is really the intent of the Declaration, then I applaud you for your unusual courage and pray for the defeat of our persecutors. Since such use of taxpayers' money at the federal level has already ensued, I would highly recommend that any signers get educated as to the law and follow the lead of successful tax avoidance strategies. I highly recommend reading a forthcoming document called the "Articles of Freedom". This document, which will contain such strategies, was adopted by the 2009 Continental Congress, a group which has other grievances against the federal government. The document will be available in its entirety at http://www.cc2009.us/aof. (See especially Title 13.) If further modifications of the Articles of Freedom are allowed to take place or if a future Continental Congress convenes (I am not a member of the current congress) and drafts a new document, may I have your permission to propose the addition of the last paragraph (modified to include any individual) of the Manhattan Declaration into such document?

Snuff Copenhagen, Stuff Cap & Trade!
Simply put, "Cap-and-Trade means higher taxes, lost jobs and less freedom." That is the basic message that Americans for Prosperity (AFP) has been making across America this year. Now AFP is launching a new television ad campaign called "Say No to Cap and Trade."This new advertising campaign has a two-fold purpose, according to Tim Phillips, President of AFP:

The Louisiana Purchase of 2009
Floyd Brown, columnist and the force behind ImpeachObamaCampaign.com wrote in an email, which I received today, regarding the motion to proceed vote that happened on Saturday evening in the Senate. In the email he describes the depth of deceit and dishonesty that the Democratic Party leadership did to bully their unwise healthcare ‘reform’ bill through the Senate vote to continue diabolical debate. And this was done against the will of the majority of Americans. Here is a quote of what he said in his email:
“Obamacare took another step toward passage this weekend with a party line vote to allow debate in the US Senate. It takes 60 votes to start debate and the 60 Democrats under the maniacal leadership of Harry Reid accomplished the task.

It's a $300 million fix.It was an awkward moment (not least because her figure is 20 times the original Louisiana Purchase price). But it was fairly representative of a Senate debate that seems to be scripted in the Southern Gothic style. The plot was gripping -- the bill survived Saturday's procedural test without a single vote to spare -- and it brought out the rank partisanship, the self-absorption and all the other pathologies of modern politics. If that wasn't enough of a Tennessee Williams story line, the debate even had, playing the lead role, a Southerner named Blanche with a flair for the dramatic.
Mr. Brown concluded by stating that most Americans must be “sick to (their) stomach(s) about the level of open chicanery in DC.” “Hopeless” is what he called any American who is not truly upset with what went on leading up to Saturday’s vote in the Senate. Using taxpayer money to purchase the vote of a wavering Senator to assure the motion to proceed debate is down right despicable.

SeniorCare under Obama-Pelosi-Reid Healthcare

For the first time in history, the Democratic Congress will not allow an increase in the social security COLA (cost of living adjustment). In fact, The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation predicts there may not be any COLA for the next three years. However, the per person monthly Medicare insurance premium will be increased from the 2009 premium of $96.40 to $104.20 in 2010 and to $120.20 for the year 2011.

Motion to Proceed with Socialized Healthcare Debate Approved by 60 Senators Tonight
Curious about how the healthcare 'reform' debate vote would turn out tonight, I watched CSPAN2 on the Internet. The vote was strictly along party lines. 60-39.
Senator Mitch McConnell said of the bill just prior to the vote on whether to proceed on the debate on H.R.3590, “(It is) a massive monument to bureaucracy and spending.” The vote tally which began at 7:55 PM EST was 60-39 in favor of the motion to proceed with debate on the bill. He said that a vote to proceed, which 60 Democrats chose to do, at their peril was a vote to do the following:
· To increase the tax burden of Americans in the midst of double digit unemployment
· To increase health insurance premiums
· To approve making deep cuts in the 10s of millions of Seniors who drastically need their Medicare benefits
· To continue the spending BINGE of Congress
· To place a great burden on our children to a future that they can’t afford
He said that that is what H.R. 3590 is all about.
All it would have taken to defeat this destructive and detestable bill was for one Democrat to stand on principle instead of pragmatic political get-along or get-ahead. No Democrat dared to stand up or against their leadership. Many will have to face the electorate next Spring and Fall, however.

He needs 60 votes. A vote for the motion to proceed is a vote for government health care. Tremendous pressure and even political bribery is being put on so-called moderate Democrats such as Ben Nelson, Blanche Lincoln, Mary Landrieu, and Mark Warner.

I'm writing to urge you to reject H.R. 3590: The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or any other attempt to force socialized health care or government-mandated health insurance on Americans.
This plan would create rationing through government committees, create an economically unsustainable government-run insurance plan, use taxpayer funds to insure illegal aliens, and impose economy-crushing taxes.
This is troubling, and you must stop it. Please, do the proper thing and reject H.R. 3590, H.R. 3962, the "Affordable Health Care for America Act," or any other attempt to force socialized health care or government-mandated health insurance on Americans.
I urge all freedom loving Americans to also fax these potential "no" votes to socialized healthcare . . .

COMMENT: H/T to the Frugal Café Blog Zone, which recently wrote in a post that Los Angeles was the first place that the socialist Joker poster of President (Barry Soetoro a/k/a) Barack Obama was circulated. It elicited a “thunderous outcry from leftists.” Now a new poster is making the scene, it depicts Soetoro/Obama as Obamastein. Gear up for some more “inevitable outrage,” the blog writer warned.
More outrageous than the satirical posters of the current occupier of the White House, are his actions, policies and legislative agenda items: massive ratcheting up of the federal deficit through bailouts, federal funding for foreign abortions, ‘stimulus’ and earmarks, special privileges for homosexuals (so-called Hate Crimes laws), Cap and Trade (Tax) based on the Global Warming Hoax, and the so-called Health Care “Reform.” All of these destructive programs and laws are being fast-tracked through Congress. All of these core leftist aims are what are much scarier than Batman’s foe, the Joker, or Frankenstein’s monster . . .

The Right Way to Amend the Constitution, part 18
This is part eighteen of an ongoing series of articles containing my proposals for amendments to the Constitution. For someone who claims so fervently to be a “Constitutionalist”, how is it that I can be so eager to change the Constitution? Well, there are several reasons. For one thing, I believe that after the Bill of Rights, much damage was done by some of the amendments that were added and the legitimacy of some of their ratifications are questionable. Secondly, the Constitution has been violated so much that the necessity of further amendments is needed to resolve the resulting problems. But this should be done extremely cautiously. My amendments are extremely unlikely to ever be introduced, much less ratified, but hey, I can dream, can’t I?
Here is my eighteenth proposed amendment (subject to revision):
The President may not enter into a treaty or other international agreement that would provide for the United States to adopt as legal tender in the United States a currency issued by an entity other than the United States
Commentary on this proposed amendment:
This amendment was actually introduced by Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann. It is cosponsored by Ron Paul, but I am wondering if it is really necessary. Article I section 8 says, “The Congress shall have Power…To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin…” But the word “tender” is not used in association with any power of the federal government. If we assume that the power to make something tender is included in the definition of “regulate the value thereof” then I think the amendment would be meaningful. But the word “regulate” means to make regular or uniform, not to determine. It seems incomprehensible that the Founding Fathers would have meant for Congress to have the right to make a foreign coin legal tender, much less the President. "No State shall ... coin Money,...make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts..." If the federal gov't has all power over the issue, then giving the states the power to make gold and silver Coin a Tender means nothing.

I must say, that while I agree with much of what has been said during this event, it is an odd mix of Bible believing Christians, secular Constitutionalists, tax protestors, and civil libertarians. Some, on the one hand, have some knowledge and are constitutionally correct on one particular issue, but, on the other hand, totally disrespect many basic constitutional rights. I wish Bob Schultz hadn't got mixed up with former ACLU attorney Mark Lane.
