The Transformers: Reagan & Soetoro/Obama

Christopher Ruddy in this month’s NewsMax Magazine article, “A Portrait of Ronald Reagan (page 110, February 2011),” compares two transformational Presidents, Ronald Reagan and Barry Soetoro alias Barack Obama. Ruddy writes, “‘(T)ransformational’ was the word Barack Obama used to describe Reagan during Obama’s tough 2008 primary against Hillary Clinton.

“Obama … simply was describing the influence Reagan had in shaping the nation and our culture.

“Obama said he too intended to become a transformational president. So far he is living up to his promise – though doing exactly the opposite of Reagan’s approach. Obama is pressing

·                    more regulation and control over our lives and

·                    more taxes

I posted the above lines on the Cleveland.com National and International Politics Forum and received this comment, “You are prejudiced. And the biggest proponent of the tea-party on this forum…”

For one thing that is a high compliment, “Biggest proponent of the Tea Party” ( Movement) on this forum.”

And here’s how I replied, “(I am also) Hateful, Intolerant, and bigoted!

The Tea Party Movement IS the best thing that has happened to America in decades. We actually owe a debt of gratitude and the load of new debt to President Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama and his Democratic Congressional Comrades for causing the Tea Party Movement to (1) be created and (2) to thrive!

Remember TARP, Cap and Trade, Funding for Abortion, Healthcare, Financial ‘reform’ and Comprehensive Immigration ‘Reform.’ Remember that it was the controversial and increasingly unpopular President Barry Soetoro alias Barack Obama and his cohorts in Congress who feed the economic collapse.

An Immigrant to America

David Barton read a seventy year-old definition of what it meant to be an American on his Thursday, July 14, 2010 WallbuildersLive radio show broadcast. Historian David Barton feels that this definition encapsulates how to access whether someone really is an immigrant. Here is the definition of what it is to be an American that Barton quoted.

“What is an American? An American is a man who is greater in his soul than in his class, creed, political party, or section of the country in which he lives.

“To be an American a man must have an American soul and believe in the spiritual realities upon which America rests and out of which America was born.

“America was created to UNITE mankind by those passions which lift and not the passions which separate and divide.

“We came to America to get rid of the things that divide and make sure of the things that unite.”

David Barton summarized the above definition this way, “So the definition of immigrant is, we are here to be part of assimilating, we are here to UNITE, we want to further the United States …”

I feel that most illegal aliens do not fit this definition of either Americans or of immigrants to America. Do they assimilate? Does our government encourage them to assimilate when they require bilingual education and other services? No. It seems to me that by our government's action we are encouraging Balkinization, and disunity in the name of diversity and pluralism!!

We are all for immigration, as long as it is legal and helps to contribute to the overall good of this society and this nation. The biggest contributions of immigrants to America were from legal immigrants who went through the red tape and waited their turn in line. Not from the illegal aliens who sponged their way in line and committed the crime of illegal entry.

The government in the last 18 or more years has especially shirked its responsibility to secure the borders and enforce our immigration laws. Essentially President Bush did nothing and President Soetoro/Obama is doing less than nothing. They both wanted amnesty for illegals. Comprehensive immigration reform is amnesty no matter how the Democrats and RINOs in Congress and the White House want to spin it.

The definition to which Barton refers hearkens back to a day when America had clearer vision and an interested and involved populace. The Tea Party Movement is resurrecting some of that previous interest and involvement. However, it must increase its pressure exponentially if we are to put a halt to the destructive policies of Washington, D.C.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER is cry that must carry us through the upcoming and important mid-term general election. The Leftist Democrats and RINO Republicans will try to push amnesty either prior to the November election or during the lame duck session if enough of the current crop of creeps is kicked out of Congress.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER the lack of border security, the lack of enforcement of our current immigration laws, the government’s attempt to stealthily build a North American Union, remember the Democrats’ attempt to give up U.S. sovereignty on many fronts, remember the Democrats’ nomination and votes for judges who would recognize international law above our Constitution. Remember those Democrats and Republicans who agree with our President, that America is not a Christian nation, but a nation with a large Muslim population and godless divisive secular humanism.

Above all remember what has happened the past two years in the government’s attempt to turn our nation from a Democratic Republican Capitalist form of government and economy into a tyrannical socialist state! Let’s stop the nonsense. Enough is enough.

Argentina & Obama now have same same-sex agenda

Note: This is a correction of the blog article I originally posted today. I mistakenly accused Hugo Chavez's Argentinian Senate as having passed same-sex marriage. A commenter to this blog pointed out my error. Chavez is the ruler of Venezuela, not Argentina. I do apologize to Hugo Chavez for lumping him in with our radical same-sex advocate President. I do not know Hugo Chavez's Venezuelan position on same-sex marriage. I stand corrected. I rewrote this article to more fully comply with reality.

Isn't it interesting that Argentina seems to be pushing the homosexual agenda, too. And it is a supposedly Catholic country. It seems that our own Dear Leader, President Soetoro/Obama, is not the only one pushing the same-sex agenda in our hemisphere. More and more, President Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack Obama is acting as a dictator-lite promulgating tyranny-lite in all of his policies and agendas including the same-sex agenda!

Cagey Kagan Hides Her True Views

There is no doubt about it, Elena Kagan is President Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack Obama’s Harriet Miers. Like Bush’s failed nominee, Miers, Kagan also never served as a judge. Doesn’t the following statement from the Wikipedia entry on Miers sound like it could be written about Kagan?

“Because little was known about Miers' position on divisive issues, and because she had no prior experience as a judge, her nomination was subject to debate on both sides.”

Maybe it isn’t subject to debate by the Democrats in the case of Kagan, because of the fact that she is an accepted radical Leftist and steaming Socialist. However, the little that is known about Kagan’s position such as her pro-abortion, her considering the constitution as a ‘living’ document which is subject to judicial revision, her pro-homosexual, her interpreting our constitution based on international law, and her anti-military stances are anathema to traditional American values - are enough evidence to reject her nomination. Her political bias and activism and her radical liberal philosophies do not allow her from being an objective interpreter of the law.

Further the Liberty Council in their white paper, “Obama Nominates Elena Kagan to Reshape the Supreme Court into his Political Image,” captures the essence of why the Kagan nomination must be rejected:

“Appointments such as this [ appointing someone who shares Obama’s liberal judicial and political philosophies and has been a longtime political supporter ], where the President’s appointment is based on FAVORITISM and FRIENDSHIP rather than the EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS of the nominee, are precisely why we called for the withdrawal of Harriet Miers when she was nominated by George W. Bush. It is also why the Founding Fathers placed a check on the President’s power of appointment, requiring the advice and consent of the Senate.”

So like the rejection of the Harriet Miers nomination, I urge my Senators and all Senator’s to reject this ultra-liberal, because of her bigotry and bias toward life, toward Christianity, toward traditional American values including the exclusivity of marriage between a man and a woman and her radical activist political bent. We do not need the type of individual who will unceasingly work to destroy the very foundations of American life and liberty.

Kagan does not only mirror Miers in many regards, but also Soetoro alias Obama. Little was known about him prior to his election, or little vetting was performed by the pro-Leftist laying (or lying or leaning - take your pick!) press of the then Presidential candidate. He hid well his true colors. Now that he is in power the ugliness of his positions surface in his obvious contempt of the American people, American exceptionalism, and American values. Kagan is trying the same tactic. Hopefully we won't be fooled twice.

Contact your United States Senators and demand that they reject the Kagan nomination on the grounds mentioned above. We need a fair minded, experienced interpreter of the law not a law-maker or tyranny-creator.
