Pushing a Poisonous Progressive Agenda

Winning at all Costs with Lies, Deceit, and Lawlessness

Mr. Barack Obama in cahoots with his comrades in Congress, including their compromising RINO colleagues spearheaded by Mr. Speaker, and with the mid-term election behind them, is now free to move uninhibitedly on an extremist liberal action plan for America.

Following the hollowed “success” of the Affordable Care Act, here is what has happened just since the election, here’s what the President is doing on his own along with his progressive playmates in Congress.

·         Pressing forward with an unlawful, unconstitutional executive amnesty order

·         Warming up to the Cuban dictatorship [while increasingly freezing our relationship with our best friends in the Middle East, Israel)

·         Naming of an amnesty-approving head of the Department of Justice

·         Naming a soap opera star (and major Obama donor) appointed to  an important central European ambassadorship

·         Naming of a staunch pro-ObamaCare and gun-control advocate as Surgeon General

·         Nominating  Matthew “Benghazi was a Hoax” Butler for a seat on the four-person U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). For years, as CEO Mr. Butler led George Soros bankrolled Media Matters in their relentless quest to damage the pro-liberty movement by spreading false information about targeted organizations including True The Vote...

I will be watching, tracking, and adding to this list that assures the continual and incremental destruction of our nation. With tepid opposition expected from the bashful traitor John Boehner and his kissing cousin Mitch McConnell “led” House and Senate, respectively, all we can do is work and pray for a change in leadership or a change in heart of the current leadership. Right now it’s Washington versus America, and Washington is winning…

How Conservative is the GOP, Really?

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has been spamming my email account for the past few months and more intensely as the Election nears. Multiple “individuals” like Joe, Sue, Abagail, etc. urge me to send money. Most of the emails I just delete. However, today I read one. That email I received today illustrates the deceitfulness of political parties. Here is how the email solicitation closed, the emphasis is mine:

“…We are so close to building a new conservative Congress, and electing a new generation of conservative leaders to the United States Senate.”  ---NRSC

This is the same GOP that played dirty tricks in Mississippi against a strong conservative Chris McDaniel in the Runoff Election with entrenched RINO Thad Cochran. I have decided to withdraw all support of the Republican in favor of directly supporting proven conservative candidates, such as those vetted by or endorsed by such respected groups as the Senate Conservative Fund.

I definitely hope and pray that despite the GOP, many strong conservatives will be elected to Congress, both the House and the Senate, tomorrow. We have had enough of the Roves, the McCains, the Grahams, and the Portmans, the so-called conservative Republicans who say one thing to get elected, and act like progressive Democrats once in office.
I’m sure of only one thing both parties are corrupt and will lie to gain and retain power. That is why we need to turn out to vote to turn out the dead wood that is just taking up space and doing all they can to preserve the status quo. Can you hear me now?

Tomorrow’s election is important. Conservative and Christians must vote and vote their consciences.
Please vote, if you haven't already...

Ohio Governor John Kasich is Pro-Life in Name Only

Below is an ad that will be running tomorrow on Channel 10 in Columbus, Ohio. If you're in Columbus, you can also watch Faith 2 Direct Action's 60-second Heartbeat Bill ad live on Channel 10, this Sunday (11/2) it will air between 11:30 a.m. and Noon.

I left blank my choice for Governor on my ballot this year. I, along with other conservatives and TEA Party Participants, did this in protest to John Kasich's lack of action in taking leadership on the Heartbeat Bill and for his action of expanding Medicaid and his support for Common Core. He wants to run for President. All I can say is that we'll have enough RINOs running in 2016 - Christie, Bush, and Romney...

Closet Amnesty Supporter Rep. Eric Cantor Fired by the People of Virginia

'Cantor is Defeated! Tea Party Conservative WINS! Major Victory!'

'Eric Cantor loses Primary to Tea Party Challenger Dave Brat!!'
MASSIVE QUAKE: Eric Cantor Loses GOP Primary

Conservative Wins Major Upset Election!

         LEADER NO MORE!

The people of America and of Virginia are fed up with politicians like Eric Cantor and John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.  These top three so-called Republican leaders have demonstrated over the past 5+ years that they simply adhere to a position where politics and power are much more important than principle. Finally, finally someone sent one of the GOP leaders the message via the ballot box. Little known challenger Dave Brat soundly delivered the message to Eric Cantor tonight in the 7th Congressional District in Virginia.
Let us hope that the hitherto wayward GOP wakes up and begins to stand on the principles that got it control of the House of Representatives in 2010 and a few more good conservatives in the Senate in 2012.  The GOP elite must be shaken in their $500 boots tonight. Senator Thad Cochran we will sure be glad to see you go the way of Eric Cantor in the next few weeks, too.
This TEA party victory has encouraged and energized me. I hope all conservatives and freedom loving patriots will take this win as a cue to do more to get TRUE conservatives elected in both the House and the Senate. Throw the RINOs and other bums out!
One of the positive outcomes of this huge conservative victory is that the House Speakership may not remain in the hands of another RINO, John Boehner! This would be a positive move.  Someone like Trey Gowdy or Jim Jordan would provide the leadership that has been missing among House Republicans for a very long time.

Rob Portman Votes for Sexual Orientation Based Hate Crimes Legislation

In section 3 of S.47, 113th Congress, ‘‘underserved populations” is defined as “populations who face barriers in accessing and using victim services, and includes populations underserved because of…sexual orientation, gender identity...

In section 120 of this bill it says, ‘‘(1) IN GENERAL.—Of the amounts appropriated under the grant programs identified in paragraph (2), the Attorney General shall take 2 percent of such appropriated amounts and combine them to award grants to eligible entities described in subsection (b) of this section to develop and implement outreach strategies targeted at adult or youth victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking in underserved populations and to provide victim services to meet the needs of adult and youth victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking in underserved populations…PLANNING GRANTS.—The Attorney General may use up to 25 percent of funds available under this section to make one-time planning grants to eligible entities to support the planning and development of specially designed and targeted programs for adult and youth victims in one or more underserved populations

In other words, this bill would require the government to spend more taxpayer’s money to protect people just because of their sexual orientation.  And the Republican U.S. Senator from Ohio, Rob Portman, voted for it.

Mitt Romney's Record

This is a series of articles which gives voting record information about 2012 presidential candidates.  Most of the references given are from thomas.loc.gov, an official government website which is part of the Library of Congress.  Hopefully, this information will help you to make a decision about who you are going to vote for.  Also included is a brief biography and information about endorsements made by the candidate.  Today's candidate is Mitt Romney.  Click here to read about Ron Paul's Voting record and click here to read Rick Santorum's record.

Mitt Romney has not served in Congress, therefore no information for him comes from thomas.loc.gov.   I didn’t dig too deep into Romney’s record because it was easy enough for me to eliminate him from consideration based on what he says and a few well-known examples of his poor record.

Abortion and Healthcare

Mitt Romney has flip-flopped on abortion in his speeches. [1] The Massachusetts universal healthcare program which he signed into law contains a mandate to purchase health insurance very similar to the mandate contained in the federal healthcare legislation passed in 2010.  This Romney is quoted as saying that he “gave the people of Massachusetts what they wanted.”

To the best of my ability, I found nothing explicitly mentioning abortion in the bill which Romney signed.  However, this means that, like the federal Title X funding of Planned Parenthood through the DHHS (which Gingrich and Santorum repeatedly voted for), there is nothing in it to prevent taxpayer’s money from being distributed by the program’s administrators to Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers.  The program Romney adopted for his state as Governor is somewhat worse than DHHS appropriations bills because there is nothing in it to say the money cannot also be used directly for any type of abortion, whereas in the bills that Gingrich and Santorum voted for, the money can only be used directly to murder some babies in somewhat rare circumstances and to support abortion indirectly by funding Planned Parenthood for services other than abortions.  But in Massachusetts, a woman can get an abortion with a copayment of only $50--the Massachusetts taxpayer pays the rest of the cost through the healthcare system created by the bill which Romney signed into law.  (Poorer women only have to pay $10 or nothing at all under this plan.)  The law (I believe--the reader can correct me if you know otherwise) did not mandate this, but power was given to administrators (unelected, God-hating, bureaucrats) to make these decisions. [2-6]

Mitt Romney did not sign the Susan B. Anthony’s List pro-life pledge. [7]

Romney is a Mormon, and the Mormon Church President issued a proclamation that abortions are acceptable in cases of rape, incest, and some types of birth defects.  Romney seems to have echoed that position in speeches he has made over the last five years.

Education

Romney claims to favor expansion of school choice and number of charter schools. He decries power and influence of teachers unions. He says he believes that abstinence education should be given to all students.

Energy and the Environment

Claims (beware!) to be a proponent of expanding oil exploration and drilling in U.S.

Gun Rights

Claims (beware!) to be a strong supporter of gun owners' rights.

Marriage and Gay Rights

As governor of Massachusetts, ordered town clerks to begin issuing marriage licenses to homosexual couples and previously stated that he supports gay marriage.  But now he says he is against gay marriage and supports a federal marriage amendment defining marriage as being between one man and one woman. In 1994 said he favored "gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly" in the military -- but by 2008, opposed repeal of the military ban on homosexuals.  [1-2]

War on Terrorism

“Calls for completion of non-nuclear ballistic missile defense system, increasing defense budget, adding more troops as well as naval vessels and aircraft. Says terrorists should not have access to civil courts or be imprisoned on U.S. soil. Says he would work with moderate Muslims to defeat jihadism; stop Iran from developing or acquiring nuclear weapons; and strongly stand with allies such as Israel and Poland.”

Believes securing U.S. border is number-one priority. Opposes amnesty or easier pathway to citizenship over those already in line. Says illegal immigrants should be required to return to their home country. Also believes federal funding should be reduced for "sanctuary cities."

Rick Santorum's Voting Record

This is a series of articles which gives voting record information about 2012 presidential candidates.  Most of the references given are from thomas.loc.gov, an official government website which is part of the Library of Congress.  Hopefully, this information will help you to make a decision about who you are going to vote for.  Also included is a brief biography and information about endorsements made by the candidate.  Today's candidate is Rick Santorum.  Click here to read part 1.

Rick Santorum served in the U.S. House from 1990-1994 and Senate from 1994-2006.  He was a Republican Deputy Whip.  Santorum is Catholic.

Abortion

Santorum voted for the partial birth abortion ban. [1]

He voted for the Hyde Amendment to prevent most abortions from being federally funded. [2]  But he voted [3-5] for at least three Department of Health and Human Services appropriations bills which allowed taxpayer money to be used to pay for some abortions (for example, in cases of rape and incest).  These bills contained no provision that abortion providers (such as Planned Parenthood) could not also obtain these funds also for other purposes. [6-8]

Santorum did not cosponsor the Right to Life to Act [9-10] or the Life at Conception Act [11] or any other bill protecting or recognizing the personhood of the unborn from conception.

[6] http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c103:hr4606: (Title V., section 509--click on “Operating Expenses” and scroll down to section 509.) Similarly find the same in the other two bills under the same title and section.

Economy and Jobs

He has consistently declined to support the National Right to Work Act which would prevent workers from being forced to join a union. [1-4]

Santorum voted [5-6] to give China “Most Favored Nation” status [7] at least twice, and voted [8-9] against repealing this status twice.

Education

Santorum voted to prohibit foreign students on F-1 visas from obtaining free public elementary or secondary education. [1] He voted to establish a pilot program to collect information relating to nonimmigrant foreign students. [2]

But Santorum voted for the blatantly unconstitutional No Child Left Behind Act, which increased federal funding and control over the public school system. [3]

He voted for the Goals 2000: Educate America Act (more unconstitutional federal meddling in the education system), “A bill to improve learning and teaching by providing a national framework for education reform; to promote the research, consensus building, and systemic changes needed to ensure equitable educational opportunities and high levels of educational achievement for all American students; to provide a framework for reauthorization of all Federal education programs; to promote the development and adoption of a voluntary national system of skill standards and certifications, and for other purposes.” [4]

Gun Rights

He voted [1] no on the Brady handgun law [2].  But he voted yes on imposing instant background checks [3] and yes [4] to ban the manufacture or importation of armor-piercing bullets [5] (a clear violation of both the 2nd and 10th amendments).

(see also Taxes, Spending, and Budget Issues)

Healthcare

Santorum voted [1-2] for the unconstitutional prescription drug benefit, Medicare part D [3].

(see also Social Security)

Illegal Immigration and Border Control

Santorum voted [1] for Secure Fence Act of 2006. [2]  He voted to prohibit illegal and undocumented aliens from receiving benefits under the FEMA's emergency food and shelter programs except when there is a presidentially declared disaster.

Judicial Appointments

Santorum voted to confirm John Roberts and Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court.

Marriage and Gay Rights

Santorum voted [1-2] in favor of the Defense of Marriage Act [3] and the Federal Marriage Amendment. [4]
He voted yes on the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy regarding homosexuals in the military [5].

Miscellaneous

Santorum voted [1-2] to convict President Clinton on the impeachment counts against him (perjury, corrupting witnesses, and obstruction of justice). [3]

Monetary Policy

Santorum voted [1] for the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 [2] which was an unconstitutional and dismal failure to regulate public accounting firms.

National Sovereignty

Santorum voted against NAFTA.

Religious Freedom and Freedom of Speech

Santorum did not cosponsor the Veterans' Memorials, Boy Scouts, Public Seals, and Other Public Expressions of Religion Protection Act of 2006, which would have prevented the ACLU and other similar groups from receiving lawyer’s fees from the taxpayers when they win cases having to do with supposed violations of the “Separation of Church and State”.

Social Security

Santorum voted “no” on the Off-budget Lockbox Amendment to protect Social Security and Medicare funds from being raided for other purposes.

Taxes, Spending, and Budget Issues

He voted [1-2] for the Bush tax cuts [3-4].

Santorum voted at least four times [5-8] to fund the unconstitutional and very wasteful and intrusive Department of Housing and Urban Development.  He voted against [9] transferring $20 million from the HUD Office of Policy Development and Research account to the Selective Service System account [10].

Santorum voted [11] for foreign giveaways: over $1.2 billion for “Acquisition and Maintenance of Buildings Abroad”, $60 million for “Payment to the American Institute in Taiwan”, $14 million for “The Asia Foundation”, $2.8 billion for “Migration and Refugee Assistance”, over $3 billion for the U.N., $1.3 billion for “Contributions for International Peacekeeping Activities”, $600 million for “Fulbright Academic Exchange Programs”, other educational and cultural exchange programs, nearly $1.3 billion for “International Broadcasting Activities”, $38 million for “Center for Cultural and Technical Interchange between East and West” and $22.7 million to carry out the Arms Control and Disarmament Act [12].

War on Terrorism

Santorum voted [1] for the Authorization to Use Military Force (AUMF) in Afghanistan immediately following the September 11th attacks [2]. He also voted for the AUMF in Iraq [3].  He voted for the Patriot Act [4-5].

Santorum’s (Worst) Endorsements

Rick Santorum endorsed and campaigned for Arlen Specter [1], one of the most God-hating Senators we have ever had.  Pro-abortion [2], pro-gay rights [3] Specter spearheaded the effort to kill the nomination of strict constructionist Robert Bork to the Supreme Court when Reagan was President.  [1] “He's with us on the issues that matter," said Santorum.  [4]  Specter has always been openly in favor of abortion funding (for example, he voted “no” on restricting UN funding for population control policies [2]).  After Specter switched parties, he voted for Obamacare. [5]

Santorum has also endorsed and campaigned for partial birth abortion supporter Christie Todd Whitman. [6]

Santorum was also a campaign volunteer for Senator John Heinz. [7] Heinz was a liberal. He supported normalizing relations with Cuba during the Nixon administration. He also criticized the deployment new weapons as a tactic in arms limitations talks with the Soviet Union. He was also a supporter of many socialist programs in education, human welfare, health care and housing.  He got caught accepting $6,000 in illegal corporate campaign money from Gulf Oil during his successful campaign for the U.S. Senate.  [8] After Senator Heinz died, his wife Teresa, heiress of the H.J. Heinz (the catsup company) fortune married the Senator from Massachusetts, John Kerry. [9]

Newt Gingrich is a RINO

Gingrich’s voting record is characterized by a lot of missed votes.

He voted for at least three Department of Health and Human Services appropriations bills which allowed taxpayer money to be used to pay for some abortions.  These bills contained no provision that abortion providers (like Planned Parenthood) could not also obtain these funds also for other purposes.  For links and further details on these bills look at my exposé on Rick Santorum, another bum who claims to be prolife, yet votes for this garbage.

He voted yes on the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy regarding homosexuals in the military.  (Remember that at the time, the law had been more strictly against gays serving in the military than under DADT.)  Newt skipped the votes on the Defense of Marriage Act and the Federal Marriage Amendment.

Gingrich voted to give the President a line item veto (a violation of the rules laid down by framers in the Constitution which have not changed).  Newt voted for NAFTA, a clear indication that he is a national sovereignty-killing globalist.

Newt cosponsored the Fairness in Broadcasting Act (“The Fairness Doctrine” bill).  This bill requires that all political views expressed on radio must be followed by an equal amount of time given to someone of an opposing viewpoint.  This is a blatant violation of the constitutional guarantee of freedom of speech.

Late Night Takes: Newt’s Next Wife

Late Night Jokes

The Tonight Show With Jay Leno

"While speaking to a prominent group of Jewish Republicans, Newt Gingrich promised to support Israel, not give in to the Palestinians, and even promised his next wife would be Jewish."

This joke is courtesy of NewsMax.com which periodically sends out an email compilation of late night jokes, few of which are worth repeating . . . these were the exceptions.

David Lewis for Congress

I will now make my first endorsement for the 2012 election.  The hands down choice to represent Ohio's second congressional district is David Lewis.  Lewis is speaking out against the false pro-lifer John Boehner.  Boehner voted to fund Planned Parenthood three times this year.  This fraud perpetrated by the Republican Party needs to be exposed!  Its not just Boehner, but most of the rest of them have done it as well!  Thank you David for helping to get the message out!

David also knows that Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other big government programs are Socialist, redistributions of wealth, unconstitutional, and they make people dependent on the government making it harder to stop abortion funding.

Call John Boehner at 202-225-6205 and ask him why he has voted to fund Planned Parenthood with taxpayers' money three times in 2011.

Rick Perry Is Being Groomed to Be the Next President by New World Order

All the evangelicals are swooning over Rick Perry just because he said a few religious words.  Mark my words, he is the establishment candidate.  He is the next Barack Obama.  He is the one to beat.  He supports the NAFTA super-highway and forcing young girls to get vaccinated against sexually transmitted diseases.  He does nothing while Mexican drug gangs come and go across the border and murder police officers.  A former Democrat, he was the Texas state campaign chairman to elect Al Gore in 1988.  Whenever "Slick Rick" Perry is confronted with an issue (like blocking the very popular anti-groping law), he claims that he agrees with you, but then claims ignorance and blames someone else.  He is a liar.  He is the one you need to convince your friends NOT to vote for (this is imperative!) along with pretenders like Cain, Santorum, and Pawlenty.  Mark my words, Mitt Romney is not "the one".  He will fade into obscurity or drop out near the end like last time.  For more of Rick Perry's dirty tricks, see my earlier post in support of another Republican who ran against him for governor.

Herman Cain Should Get an F.

Saturday, Greg gave Herman Cain an "A" grade after the first debate.  After reading this article, I think you will change your mind.  Cain says that he is not a politician because he has never held a public office.  Yet he was the chairman of the Kansas City branch of the Federal Reserve.  Basically this means that he is technically holding a position within a private institution, but with tremendous political powers that should not even be given to elected officials, much less a corporate employee.  Hat tip to Fortunateson of the Daily Paul for this one.

http://youtu.be/Ol45PnAIFRU
I politely questioned Herman Cain about his praise of the TARP Bailouts back in 2008 and his chiding of free market purists... I then went on to ask him his opinion of billions of taxpayer dollars being spent to bailout Foreign Banks in China/Libya/etc... When I mentioned that.. he high tailed it out of there... told me that it was too long of a question to ask.. and one of his supporters slapped my wrist/forearm (I was shaking hands with Mr. Cain while I was questioning him)
http://www.tennesseesonsofliberty.com/2011/05/herman-cain-exposed.html

Herman Cain has also said that there is no need to audit the Federal Reserve even though the Fed bailed out many countries secretly INCLUDING LIBYA.  You now know whose side he is really on.  I can't see anyone in the field of candidates that I could vote for except Ron Paul or possibly Michele Bachmann if she runs.  Either way I will have to hold my nose while voting.

And remember that Cain said that he supported Mitt Romney in the 2008 primary.  Unless Cain does really, really well, he will almost certainly give his delegates to Romney.  Ron Paul, on the other hand, *might* give his delegates to Michele Bachmann (Gary Johnson will almost surely have dropped out by then).  Bachmann was on a short list of about 30 candidates for Congress which Ron Paul endorsed in 2008.  I am not sure though who Michele Bachmann would give her delegates to if she drops out before the end, but it doesn't really matter if there is no one else left worth voting for.

The face of an ungracious loser, Lisa Murkowski (RINO-AK)

Getting Ugly: Loser Lisa may run as independent write-in

Hat tip goes to the National Review Online for posting this information on their website. Defeated incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski, a liberal Republican in Name Only (RINO) may announce tonight that she will run for Senator in Alaska as a write-in candidate. There is supposed to be some kind of announcement tonight. Apparently she would rather see the Democrat win than the Primary Election choice of the people, conservative Joe Miller. Is this woman a female Arlen Specter, it sure looks that way.

Choose Christine O'Donnell (Conservative R) over Mike Castle (RINO) for Delaware U.S. Senator

No More RINOs, Vote O'Donnell for US Senate in Delaware!

Hat tip goes to HotAirPundit blog for posting the YouTube video below. The primary election will be held in Delaware on Tuesday September 14, 2010. Right now Mike Castle a very liberal Republican (i.e. RINO) is ahead. Challenger is Tea Party supported Christine O’Donnell Here is a well produced radio ad put out by the Our Country Deserves Better PAC TeaPartyExpress.org:

Here are the comments regarding the election found at About.com on their article,2010 U.S. Senate Races - Who's Winning, Who's Not."

“Republican Rep. Mike Castle, former two-term governor, has been heavily favored to win the September 14, 2010 primary against opponent Christine O'Donnell ... However, some moderate Republicans fear that O'Donnell could defeat Castle in a surprise similar to Alaska's primary results.”

Let’s hope O’Donnell pulls off another Alaskan “Miller” there in Delaware, we could use another upset win for Conservatism! Senator Jim DeMint, himself a strong conservative leader, recently expressed support for O'Donnell.

Pink Slip Lisa Murkowski (RINO-AK), Next Tuesday, August 24th!

Hat tip goes to the Tea Party Express for the following information on an important primary election in Alaska next week:

“A brand new poll by RT Nielson research shows that the critical U.S. Senate race between Conservative Republican Joe Miller and Liberal incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski has dramatically tightened as the conservative candidate, Joe Miller, has gained 25% on his rival.

“Three weeks ago this race looked to be a lock for Sen. Murkowski as she led 62%-24%. Now that margin is down to 46.91%-35.39%. Murkowski is below the critical 50% threshold an incumbent needs for re-election and she is continuing to drop.

“This race takes place in just 4 days - and we have a chance for a shocking historic victory for the tea party movement and the constitutionalist conservative candidate, Joe Miller. This election is VITAL to stopping the Democrats from maintaining control of the Senate - right now they can use Democrat votes plus those of Liberal Republicans such as Murkowski, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe to hold power. If Murkowski loses that all changes.

Support Joe Miller, Murkowski’s conservative Republican opponent by making an on-line contribution HERE.

You can read more at the AlaskanStandard.com, which has an article about the Alaskan race titled, "Lisa Murkowski not a part of the Tea Party revolution."
