Pause & ponder on another Obama bummer: Craig Becker’s Appointment

With his government-run healthcare in place, our cocky President made 15 recess appointments. One in particular is troublesome as reported by AmericansForProsperity.com. An excerpt of AFP's article can be read below. Above is a YouTube video of Senator Jim DeMint's comments regarding this strongly pro-labor, pro-union appointment.

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is a big Soetoro/Obama and Democrat Party backer. That union was behind the beating of a black Tea Party concessionaire in St. Louis last year. This union’s lackeys serve at the behest of this president when thugs or intimidators are needed to enforce or persuade support for some aspect of the President’s agenda.

“Just when you think this president cannot act more arrogantly, he proves us wrong.

“President Obama waited for Congress to adjourn for Easter and then he used a recess appointment to put Big Labor lawyer Craig Becker on the board that is supposed to be a fair and honest broker between unions and employers.

“Becker was a top lawyer for SEIU (Service Employees International Union), one of the most liberal and thuggish public employee unions in the nation. Now, thanks to President Obama, he's on the National Labor Relations Board.

“Becker is so radical on labor issues that the Democrat-controlled Senate REFUSED to approve his nomination! Senator Ben Nelson (of "Cornhusker Kickback" infamy) even said Becker's record indicates he will "pursue a personal agenda."

“Remember the outrageous Card Check legislation President Obama pushed last year that would effectively take the right to a secret ballot away from Americans when they decide whether or not to join a union? Well, Becker is going to try and use his position on the National Labor Relations Board to push it through without Congress. This is just the latest instance of democracy denied - the administration's continued push around Congress and the American people. (Columbus, Ohio AGC News) The first 'Ohio Tea Party' was held this mild pre-spring morning on the steps of the state capitol in Columbus, Ohio. A Tea Party was held in the city of Cleveland earlier this year. The Tea Party Movement was born out of the deep frustration expressed by one news reporter on CNBC, Rick Santelli. He suggested that Americans join him in Chicago in a new Tea Party, protesting the tyrannical spending and misappropriations of the Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) Administration. This was in reaction to the bank bailouts, government induced mortgage crisis, and so-called stimulus (spending) bill.

Well, it came to Columbus, Ohio. Approximately 200 souls showed up for this event. The event was coordinated by the Ohio chapter of the Americans for Prosperity (AFP). A myriad of sign were displayed by men, women, and children, typical Americans. What struck me was the fact that there were what appeared to me were five or six mounted riot police standing by to quell any violence. Gee, the only violence is being done inside the Ohio Capitol and the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Generational theft, fiscal child abuse and a wanton desire to inflict socialism on America is the real violence that the mounted police should be trying to thwart.

Above are some photos I took of this event, which promises to be part of a growing movement across America. Thank goodness we still have true patriotic congressmen like U.S. Representative Jim Jordan, who spoke at the event.

The next Ohio Tea Party will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, again on the steps of the Ohio State Capitol Building as well as in over 115 other cities across this nation. My hope is that ten times or more Americans will be there to protest the terrorist, traitorous tactics of the regime currently ruling in Wasting-a-ton, D.C.
