What Democrats Want, Day 60, Countdown to Oblivion? ENDORSEMENTS

As of today, there are 60 days until the most consequential election in American history. This is what they say about many past elections, but this is really it. For if the Democrats seize power – control of the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate and the Presidency – and doing it by hook or by crook (the justifies the means, you know) America as we know it will be forever changed. America envisioned and created by the Founding Fathers will disappear into the shadows of history.

The ungodly secular-humanists/Marxists slow march through America’s institutions over the last 100 years or so will have reached a crescendo – fulfilling Mr. Obama’s fundamental transformation of America. Never again will the demonic Democratic Party relinquish its grip on political power and control of the masses

Envision with me what a Socialist Democratic Party, takeover, a bloodless coup, a regime change, would look like. This is one in a series of daily articles leading up to the 2020 General Election scheduled for November 3, 2020

What does an Endorsement Mean Anyway?

You can learn a lot about a candidate and what positions or issues he or she will likely support by the endorsements the candidate receives.  So, let’s look at who is endorsing ol' Joe Biden. We will focus on three key issues.

Abortion

A key issue of the Democratic Party platform is abortion. They live or die (unborn babies die) on this fundamental issue which they call “a woman’s right to reproductive health” along with other euphemisms. In stark contrast to President Trump these past 4 years, LifeSiteNews.com states, “Joe Biden Would be the Most Pro-Abortion President in History.” Major abortion endorsement includes:

Ø  NARAL Pro-Choice America -- abortion lobby

Ø  Planned Parenthood - the largest abortion provider in America

Non-Traditional Sexual Behaviors

Again, you see that there is great contrast between the two major political parties in the area of sexual anarchy. The Republican Party’s platform recognizing marriage as the union of a biological male and a biological female. The GOP opposes allowing “transgendered” men, men who claim to be women, to use female bathrooms, dressing rooms, etc. and opposing “transgendered” males to participate on in school female sports, or to have the military provide so-called gender reassignment therapies or body mutilating surgeries. The same is true for providing these detestable and  unnecessary procedures on a child.

The Democratic Party and Joe Biden are sold out on the entire LHBT+ agenda and support  both same sex “marriage” and the normalizing and advancing SOGI regulations, sexual orientation and gender identity, which includes normalizing gender dysfunctional mentally disordered individuals. Major endorsements of Joe Biden by organizations that advance the LHBT agenda include:

Ø  Human Rights Campaign – the largest LHBT lobby

Ø  National LGBT Chamber of Commerce

Unions

Unionized workers, like minorities, have been the base of the Democratic Party for decades. At one time unions were critical because of the abuses of owners and management. Now, however with employment laws and with a better understanding of the need for teamwork and the importance of producing a quality product or service there is a less need. In education unions are a detriment to education.

Biden and the Democratic Party reject Right to Work laws, which allow individuals to be free to either join or not join a union, as opposed to mandatory membership and dues, as a requirement to obtain and retain the job. What is offensive is union leadership (often Leftist/Marist) which use dues to some extent to promote causes and politicians that often are in opposition to employees’ beliefs and principles. The Republican Party on the other hand supports a national Right to Work law.

Teacher Unions and other unions often protect poor or marginal worker which makes it difficult to terminate them. It also hurts the product or service quality and productivity of the company. Advancement and improvement in student education are not the top priorities of Teacher Unions but advancing a Leftist//Marxist agenda is the highest priority. Curriculum is often sabotaged or secondary importance, or used to further the teacher unions agenda. Here are the major unions who support Joe Biden:

Ø  Service Employees International Union

Ø  American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees

Conclusion

 

Look at who endorses and financially supports the candidates for president as well as every office. It provides a great clue as to what priorities that the winning candidate will pursue during their term in office. 

You want baby-murder to expand and to include taxpayer funded abortion, the mutilation of children in the futile and impossible attempt change their gender, and preserving the requirement to deny employees the freedom not to join a union and allow their dues to pay for the questionable and even immoral causes?  Then vote Joseph Biden and he Democrat ticket.

You want to preserve all human life from its earliest form through natural death, to stop any and all federal funding for so-called gender reassignment therapy, or for preventing biological males pretending to be women and gain access to women’s facilities and even to participate in women’s sports? Then vote Donald Trump and the Republican slate.

Waiting for Superman (2010)

Surprisingly, filmmaker Davis Guggenheim, who also directed the grossly deceptive and objectionable Gore-eee film, Inconvenient Truth, turns around and creates a somewhat honest picture of education in the U.S. today. The picture of education in America ain’t at all pretty. In fact, it is very disturbing.

Despite billions of dollars being thrown at the bureaucracy supposedly trying to improve education, it is merely further destroying the system. When any real reformers attempt to change the system they are met with roadblocks. These roadblocks include those put up by the teacher unions, namely and mainly the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). The movie clearly shows the true nature of the unions when the new Superintendent of a major school system tried to implement change.

Contrary to their flowing rhetoric, the selfish, corrupt labor unions react negatively at every turn to reforms, especially anything that threatened the almighty unions’ privileged position and curbing its power. In the end they care little or nothing about the students, only in perpetuating their evil political power and agenda.

Waiting for Superman is a documentary. It follows the lives of a half of a dozen students, who are trapped in poor performing neighborhood government schools. The movie points out that there are many substandard schools both in urban and suburban areas. For 40+ years public education has drastically decline compared to the rest of the industrialized, developed world. We once led the world with first-class education. Now we are second-rate also-rans.  We are failing miserably in math and science. It has caused us to import such professions as engineers.

There are a few schools that are doing the job. There are woefully few, however, good schools exist to give every student in need a place to excel. The movie does a good job in making a case for giving parents a choice in where to send their children. It showed several parents who care about the education of their children.

Also the movie accurately describes the role the teacher plays in the schools. The excellent teachers do not get the recognition, while poor performing teachers are coddled and protected by their unions. Both kinds of teacher provide motivation, one for good, one for not so good.

Public Education is an abject failure. The bright spots are the alternatives to public education, such as private schools and charter schools. Although, not mentioned, probably for political (PC and ideological bias of the movie maker) reasons, is the whole home school movement. A growing percentage of students are now being taught at home in lieu of the sad state of affairs of the government/union run schools.

What happened? It is not a lack of money. Much is even wasted on massive bureaucracy – i.e. the Federal and State Departments of Education and layers upon layers of other local bureaucrats. They siphon resources intended for real student instruction in the classroom. The bottom line, the excessive bureaucrats hinder rather than help the learning process. We must return to local control of our schools. Here is another area where the federal government has screwed things up. Now they want to “fix” healthcare and the finance industry? Yeah, right!

Lacking in the film is one important reason for the change, the fall. It was when the elites and their leftist anarchists decided that God needed to be purged from our public education system. That is literally when all hell broke loose. This was a big part of the story left out of the movie.

What is the conclusion of the movie? We don’t need a superman, we need serious reformation. I agree, we need reformation, but we need to instill morality, character, and values back into the schools. What we have now is an atheistic, propaganda generator with little real education going on.

RATING

I would rate the movie a *** ½ out of *****. It was a good attempt at capturing the state of education in America, at least some aspects of the problem. This is a big subject. Waiting for Superman provoked some thought and discussion. 

Rent the movie and get a very troubling, sober view of our overall system. You get just a hint of what is needed to repair this tragically broken system. Despite its shortcomings, the movie does identify some of the basic problem that exist in our education system. It also hints at the solutions. It’s a starting point.

Socialism in the Classroom Demonstrated

Hat Tip to the Liberty Voice Newspaper, September 2009, where I first came across this article. I was given this particular edition of the newspaper at an event protesting ObamaCare in Columbus a few months ago. This article has been circulating in cyberspace at least since the first part of this year. I am not sure that it is true, but it is illustrative and very accurate in what it outlines about socialism.

An economics professor at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX...

... said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class.

The majority of that class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said ok, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism.

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged, everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too, so they studied little. The second Test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else. All failed to their great surprise and the professor told them that socialism would ultimately fail because the harder to succeed the greater the reward but when a government takes all the reward away, no one will try or succeed.

Failure is the best word to describes and characterizes our educational system in America today. The article above outlines part of the reason for its decline and its dismal results. It is not lack of money. It is lack of a godly focus.

President Barry Soetoro, a/k/a Barack Obama, who by his avowed socialist policies and his actions has to be considered at least a radical socialist. His recent injecting himself into the public school classrooms across the nation sets a dangerous precedent, especially for one so extreme in his political leftist views. Couple this with teachers who elevate this grossly inexperienced community rabble-rouser and Chicago groomed political hack, to cultic, almost god-like status by having their children offering praise and homage to him, you have to be very suspect and very concerned.

For the most part, our schools have been commandeered by the secular humanist socialist-bent elite and their poisonous philosophy. These humanists along with the national teacher unions (NEA and AFT), who advance a radical socialist agenda, have conspired to boot God, the Judeo-Christian Bible, and all Christian influence out of the schools bwginning in the 1960s. Ever since this cataclysmic event, our schools have been on a downward trend by in producing educated and prepared students. Increasing violence and declining graduation rates and a growing ignorant population have been big-education’s major ‘achievement.’ These efforts continue and are even accelerating, and now even include the normalization of sodomy and other abnormal deviant behaviors and lifestyles.

John Freshwater & the State of Public Education

Here is a comment to my article which I found on the website, Choose the Hero. That website posted my article, “Is Public Education Hopelessly Lost?”

“Freshwater is incompetent and dangerous to the children. A creationist science teacher who burns kids? You picked a real zero to back there. After he is fired, he and his supporters should take up a collection to pay the school for having wasted their time and money.”

Here is my response:

Actually, it is the educational system that deserves the accolades that you bestowed on Mr. Freshwater. The descriptions “Incompetent” “Dangerous” and “Radical Faith in the Flawed Unscientific Theory of Evolution” all aptly characterize our failed public education system.

Mr. Freshwater represents the antithesis of what currently marks education failed state. He cares for his students. He loves to teach. He is good at it. He gets positive results, and students learn.

How do we fix the public education system? For starters we

(1) Abolish the federal Department of Education (DOE).

(2) Take away the non-profit status of the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) for their student-ignoring, subversive leftist-driven political agenda and activism.

(3) Encourage and fund alternatives to public schools to make them more competitive and accountable to parents, the community and society.

Without doing these things mentioned above, our schools and the education system will remain broken and in a perpetual state of disrepair.

Therefore the only real solution may be a mass exodus of children from what amounts to the government indoctrination centers. Caring, Christian, and/or conservative have no choice but to pull their children out of the schools en masse. Next fall would not be too early to do so.

Is the NAE Becoming Like the NEA? Part 8

This is the final installment in a series of articles dealing with the 20 minute interview by the NPR Fresh Air radio show of Rev. Richard Cizik, who is the now former VP of Governmental Affairs for the National Evangelical Association (NAE). This interview was the last straw, it brought down this ravenous wolf in sheep's clothing. Cizik resigned last week. That interview was so enlightening into the mind of a man who purported to be the key voices of American evangelicals. What was in that mind was deception and lies and much that is antithetical and repugnant to Jesus Christ and to His message, and to Biblical truth.

Today we will explore the final portion of the interview and provide commentary on the interview and a few overall conclusions about the man and his now former organization.

‘CREATION CARE,’ THE HIGHEST PRIORITY

Terry Gross attacks all conservative Christians and true Christ-followers, by asking, “Now let me just ask you a pointed question. Are you waiting for some of the evangelical leaders who have opposed you on issues like your concern about the environment and climate change—are you waiting for them to retire and leave the stage? And I guess I’m thinking most specifically, here, about James Dobson."

Cizik in the mode of a true compromiser and liberal appeaser answers, “I’m not waiting. I would want Jim Dobson to join us, because this is about creation care, it’s what the bible teaches, it is Godly, it is right. So I’m not waiting for him to leave the scene at all. I want him to join us. In other words, Terry, I’m always looking for allies not adversaries; always allies. This is important. It’s strategically important for Christians to care for this earth, just as it’s important for Christians to care for the family. These are equals; they’re both part of God’s concern, they’re both part of His heart. So no, I’m not waiting.”

Gross, agreeing with her interviewee queries, “I appreciate what you’re saying but at the same time I think the odds of you winning over James Dobson on this are probably slim, so do you think?”

Cizik, laughs in agreement mumbling unconvincingly and with little conviction, “With God all things are possible!”

Gross probes deeper, “…what’s going to change in the long run is that he and some of the other people who oppose your work putting environmental issues near the top of the agenda, do you think that what’s going to change is that they will retire and that there will be a new guard?”

Cizik brags a bit, “Well, sometimes I believe that occurs. Even some of the names back on the letter a couple years ago are gone. But that doesn’t change the fact that we all will pay a price for not changing. The earth is reaping the consequences of our actions when we don’t reexamine our habits of consumption, right? The poor around the world, well, they’re reaping the consequences of us failing to meet our obligations. This is not something that can wait for any of us to retire. (Some may be wanting me to, but...)

“The Gospel paints a vision of society that is relationally and environmentally sustainable. What do I mean by that? Relationally sustainable- it’s a message of hope that we all get along, not just get along but work together for a cause which is bigger than ourselves.”

BUSH NOT LIBERAL ENOUGH FOR CIZIK

Gross now asks Cizik about the Left’s favorite President, “Since we’re in the final weeks of the Bush administration, I’d like to ask you your thoughts as that administration comes to an end. What do you think were his achievements, what do you think were your greatest disappointments?”

Ignoring such stellar accomplishment as the fact that Bush disapproved funding for stem cell research, signed the partial birth abortion procedure ban, Cizik selects and cites, “Greatest achievements: surely the effort called the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS relief. This is felt in real ways in sub-Saharan Africa in ways that we in the West don’t even understand. They love us as Americans because of what George W. Bush did on that.

“I think, on the other hand, this man of faith failed to understand in my estimation, religion in the Middle East, and it led to a war that’s been unnecessarily long. It may have been right, as it were, to take out Saddam Hussein, but the way this war was waged in so many ways I think everyone would have to admit was ill-planned, ill-conceived and the rest. So, look, one has to have mixed emotions about the Bush administration.”

Gross continues to press Cizik about President Bush, “And what are the ways that you think he has helped, and/or hurt, the evangelical community?”

Bush didn’t please the rest of the world enough according to Cizik, who said, “I suppose George W. Bush’s faith was a mixed blessing. On the one hand, we evangelicals took pride in the fact that this man became president who openly said that he was a person of faith, for whom, even Jesus he said was his favorite philosopher. And yet, he didn’t in so many ways reflect that Jesus as we would have wanted him to have. With a humility and a fashion to the rest of the world that communicated just what kind of people we are. I don’t think that real picture ever came through.”

CREATOR OVER THE CREATED

I think the most damning thing Cizik said was “It’s strategically important for Christians to care for this earth, just as it’s important for Christians to care for the family. These are equals; they’re both part of God’s concern, they’re both part of His heart.” Wrong, people, souls, are much more important to the Creator than the lower creatures, such as insects, birds, and other animals. Man, Rev. Cizik is the highest and most important of all of God’s creatures. We reflect the image of God. Deer and buffaloes and barracudas do not.

THE FUTURE OF THE MAN

As I listened to this so-called conservative Christian pro-life Evangelical leader throughout the length of the NPR interview, I felt embarrassed, disgusted, and horrified that he would even name the name of Jesus and allege that he is a Christ-follower. From my perspective Mr. Cizik by his words and actions is neither what I consider to be (1) a conservative, (2) a Christian, nor is he truly (3) pro-life. Then what is he? The man is a (1) wolf in sheep’s clothing, (2) an apostate, and (3) an appeaser, and a (4) compromiser.

However, I am sure Cizik will resurface as a political advocate with the National Education Assoiciation (NEA), Green Peace or any of a number of other left-wing groups. Why? Because, philosophically, his ideology lines up more with the liberal elite than does he the conservative common man.. . .

THE FUTURE OF THE ORGANIZATION

As for the NAE, Bill Wilson in his 12/14/08 Daily Jot article, succinctly articulates the situation at the National Association of Evangelicals, “The damage done to the NAE and its image among those who take the Bible seriously (by letting Cizik run amok) will take a long time to repair. And it’s not just Cizik who was at fault. The mindset of the organization appears to have changed over the years to drift away from basic conservative Bible truths and to support the more seeker friendly Christianity without commitment, sin without consequences dogma that is permeating the Church. . .” That in a nutshell tells it like it is.

Based on the radio interview conducted with the NAE’s Cizik, the positions he espoused were nearly indistinguishable from the abjectly liberal, Marxist positions of the very liberal 'religious' National Council of Churches (NCC) or even the secular National Education Association (NEA). A few decades ago the NAE sprung into being to contest the growing apostasy found in the NCC, now the NAE finds itself in a state of denial of its own apostasy.

CAN THE NAE BE RENEWED?

Bill Wilson concludes that “It is now a perfect time for the governors of the NAE and Mr. (Leith) Anderson (President) to conduct a complete audit of the issue and policy positions taken by Cizik to ensure that the NAE not only espouses Biblical truth in its writings and positions to its members, but also practices them in their relationships in Washington, D.C. and other places.”

What is needed in America is a renewal of the heart, mind and spirit starting with the Church and organization representing the Church, and starting with individual Christians. What Cizik and his NAE seem to be following is deceptive Gore-bought doctrine instead of Jesus’ message. Cizik’s NAE is saying that we need to be worrying about renewing the earth. If the NAE is saying this they are either a foolish deceivers or a deceived fools, Rev. Cizik and the NAE, I do not know of a gentler, kinder way to say it. I suggest that you get back to the Biblical basics.

WHAT DOES THE NEA GOT TO DO WITH IT?

Throughout this series I have made allusions, at least in the title of this series, to a tie between the NAE and the National Education Association (NEA). What the NEA has done for our schools, which amounts to nothing or worse, is just about what the Cizik's NAE has done for the Christian community, nothing or worse. The NEA is working to deliberately weaken our schools and dumb down American children. They feel indoctrination into such things as homosexuality and social justice are more important than learning to read and write and do simple math. Why are our schools among the worst achievers of all industrial nations? One big reason is the death grip the NEA holds on our nations educational system.

Likewise the NAE is less and less representative of evangelicals or true Christianity as demonstrated by the leftward shifting of leaders like Richard Cizik. The NEA and the NAE have anti-God, anti-Biblical philosophies, which sometime are indistinguishable, that seem to be merging, the letters of their initials are the same - just a little different order . . .

To quote the President-elect it is time for real change. Do you hear that NAE? It is time to get back to basic Biblical truth once more. After Cizik, that would be a refreshing change.

Is the NAE Becoming Like the NEA? Part 1

I became aware, through the Crosstalk America radio show, that Rev. Richard Cizik, a so-called Evangelical leader, who was interviewed on a National Public Radio (NPR) show last Tuesday. In listening to an archived version of that NPR radio show, I confirmed that his positions and ideas were very troublesome to any true believer of Jesus Christ. We will explore, in a series of articles starting today, what was discussed on that particular NPR radio show.

The NAE stands for the National Association of Evangelicals. The NAE is comprised of some 45,000 churches representing 50 denominations and 30 million constituents.

The NEA stands for the National Education Association, which is the major teachers’ union in America. They lobby on behalf of their member teachers. Unfortunately, the NEA has advocates, using its teachers’ dues, the most radical of liberal causes. Much of their advocacy works counter to the educating our children in the 3 Rs and does not improve the teachers' situation. Furthermore, the NEA has literally helped to destroy and to transform our educational system into one that is grossly inferior to that of most developed nations.

Through the course of this series of articles you will see that the ideology and priorities of these two apparently divergent organizations’ are beginning to merge.

REV. RICHARD CIZIK ON GOD AND GLOBAL WARMING

This so-called representative of Evangelicals, Richard Cizak, has profoundly upset a lot of true Christians, including myself, with statements made in an interview on the liberal National Public Radio show he gave last week. CizIk must have set out to make points with the outright liberal Fresh Air from WHYY program on December 2, 2008 hosted by Terri Gross.· The description on the NPR website summarizes this particular program, “Conservative Christian Richard Cizik preaches the message of environmentalism from a pro-life perspective. Cizik is the vice president for governmental affairs of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), a powerful lobbying organization . . .”

WHO DID YOU VOTE FOR FOR PRESIDENT?

Terri Gross, the host of the Fresh Air (actually Putrid Air would be more apt) stated that the environment and climate change have been priorities for Cizik. This she noted has put Cizik at odds with “older Evangelical leaders” and some in the Republican Party (duh!!!). To stir up the hornet’s nest quickly, she asked Cizik who he voted for President. His reply was that he voted for the “best choice” in the Virginia primary, and that was Democrat Barack Obama. He was evasive about whom he definitively voted for in the general election, but hinted that his primary vote was an “indication” of who he voted for in the general election. What a wonderfully politically correct answer!

Cizik went on to say that “all of us want this man to succeed, absolutely. If we don’t there is something wrong with us.” I wonder, Mr. Cizik, what do you mean by success? Do you mean passage of the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), granting amnesty to illegals, higher taxes, taking guns away from the people, increasing the national debt, surrendering our sovereignty to the United Nations through treaties such as Kyoto and LOST, surrendering victory in Iraq, permitting openly homosexual behavior in the military, creating a Hitler-style youth brigade to “protect” our neighborhoods, or buying into the global warming craze? That, sir, would not be success. Obama must be fought on these social and fiscal issues that matter to conservatives and Christians.

DOES FAITH MATTER?

Gross went on to ask a second provocative question, to which Cizik responded even more controversially. “How important is faith to you when you are voting?” Cizik answered, “I think it is very important, BUT it is not THE factor, nor should it be. Though there are those who by identity politics and culture war, they do that, and (they say) that is the most important factor. I say absolutely not. I say character first, of which faith is part, of course it helps determine one’s values. But there are other factors, such as the philosophy of government, two parties, two different philosophies, and lastly, the issues. So it is possible for me to disagree, for example, with a candidate on high profile issues, and still believe that on the basis of character or philosophy, he is the better of the two candidates. So, in this case, it would be possible, as Evangelicals did, to disagree with Barack Obama on same-sex marriage and abortion, and yet vote for him. We know they did. Not because of those positions (where) he stood, but in spite those positions."

Mr. Cizik, I ask you, “What are the character qualities that commend Obama to you? With what in the Democratic platform positions do you agree? Of the two platforms the GOP platform at least is strongly pro-life and pro-marriage, while the Democratic Party platform is severely lacking in substance on the social issues. For example, it states a woman has a "right" to kill her baby, but that we should support those women who choose to allow their babies to live. The Democratic platform is in total, morally deficient. I see Obama as being grossly inexperienced, ill prepared for the important office of President. His positions, policies, and beliefs are essentially evil. He had the most radically liberal record of all the Senators in Congress. He even favored the killing of babies born in botched abortion procedures. This was done in order to protect the liberal sacred cow, the woman’s right to murder her baby! It is inconceivable for me that ANY true follower of Jesus Christ would vote for a candidate like Obama. It would be precisely because of his lack of character and his lack of Biblically-based principles that I could never bring myself to vote for such a man.

Mr. Cizik, faith means absolute trust and dependence in God, in Jesus Christ as the only way to God and faith in Christian principles as outlined in Scripture, the ultimate guide to life and liberty. Faith is the foundation to a Christian’s life in all matters. At least it is for true Christ-followers.

TESTING THE FRUIT

Finally, in your Bible, Mr. Cizik, in Matthew 7:16-30 you will read,

"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. This, sir, is talking about Barack Obama. How can a man who believes that it is okay to abort babies for any reason and even to allow babies born alive to be killed. That man’s fruit is bad. That man’s character is bad. That man has no faith. You, Rev. Cizik seem to be a blind shepherd!

The tie that binds the Left

I wrote an article on Saturday about the AARP, mentioning the NEA and the AFL-CIO. I stated that the majority of (the membership) in these groups have values much different than the leadership of those groups who purport to represent them. I further added that all three groups smack of leftist leanings, if not outright lobbying for left-wing causes. When I put my opinion out on a public forum I was asked to prove it. This article is includes the essence of my post on the forum proving my assertion.

I picked one major social issue, abortion, to use as my proof that the AARP and the two other organizations are predominately leftist in their leanings and their actions.

1. AARP - 'Charles W. Jarvis, president and CEO of USA Next, alleged that the AARP literally is able to give tens of millions of dollars away every single year -- to Planned Parenthood, to MALDEF, which is the Mexican American Legal Defense [and Educational] Fund, which wants to take the Southwest of the United States and redistribute it to Mexico -- that's how radical that group is. And AARP is involved in giving to all sorts of groups like those groups in every single state. In essence, they are a financier for the left." (1)

2. AFL-CIO - "Last year, (Barack Hussein) Obama got 100 percent scores from the AFL-CIO, League of Conservation Voters and Planned Parenthood and an “A” rating from the National Education Association on their most recent scorecards . . . On abortion, Obama voted against a measure designed to protect what supporters termed live babies born during abortion procedures." (2)

3. NEA - "Regarding NEA support of abortion and pro-abortion candidates, Charles W. Baird, Professor of Economics at California State University, says that "as I understand [Pope John Paul II], unions leave their legitimate spheres of influence when they…become involved in these public policy issues instead of securing the legitimate rights of workers."" (3)

4. Average Americans - "While abortion advocates marched in Washington on Sunday, pro-life groups were touting the results of a new poll showing that a majority of Americans, including African Americans and students, are pro-life on abortion. In a poll released Friday by Zogby International, a respected polling firm, a total of 56 percent agreed with one of the following pro-life views: abortion should never be legal (18 percent), legal only when the life of the mother is in danger (15 percent) or legal only when the life of the mother is in danger or in cases of rape or incest (23 percent). Since abortions in cases of rape or incest or those necessary to save the life of the mother are extremely rare, that means a majority of Americans oppose approximately 96 percent of all abortions . . ." An examination of where the leadership of these three groups stand on other issues such as the wholesale acceptance of homosexuality and even same-sex marriage or civil unions will show similar radical leftist positions. These three organizations join the mainstream media, the Democrat Party and others in a unified attempt at knowingly or inadvertently subverting our culture.

Majority of Americans Favor School Choice

I try to listen to American historian David Barton’s radio program WallBuilders Live as much as possible. He cited a recent (2007) poll which found that 65% of those polled wanted school choice. In researching that assertion I found that a poll was indeed done recently in Texas and found 65% of those who participated in that survey favored school choice.

It is my contention that that is what the majority of Americans want as well. However, we are up against a powerful and entrenched academic and education elite that opposes any loss of government school funding. The National Education Association (NEA) and other left wing controlled and dominated teachers unions intensely lobby see any competition as an anathema.

I heard a recent news story that one school district has gone to a group of home-schooling parents and asked them what they want in order for their student to return to the public schools system. There appears that there might be a crack in the education bureaucracy’s hard shell.

In Ohio one of the seemingly top priorities for the newly elected Democrat governor, Ted Strickland, was an attempt remove most of the voucher program from the state budget. I believe some of the funding had been restored, but there will be an on-going battle with this teacher-union backed Ohio’s top executive. To retain total domination and control of the government schools is one of the chief ways that the left has advanced some of its most vile components of their anti-American values, anti-Christian, anti-God agenda.

Ever since the 1960s when the United States Supreme(ly deceived) Court ruled to “remove” God from and prayer from the government schools there has been a continuous indoctrination of American children in the tenets of the secular humanist religion. The high priests and priestesses lackeys of the NEA, immoderate progressive leftists and whole host of their comrades have sought to destroy the moral foundations of our great nation. Once right and wrong was taught in our schools. Character development was once considered to be utterly important. Children were taught reading, writing and arithmetic. Everything now is based on moral relativism and situational ethics. Moral absolutes are shunned more than an Amish girl singing rap in the local bar.

TAKE ACTION

Learn which politicians support school choice options and other issues that may be important to you like prohibiting civil unions or same-sex “marriage” or any special “rights” for homosexuals and lesbians, or like supporting a total ban on abortion or embryonic stem ceil research. It is time the majority of Americans wake up and make their values known. We must stop acquiescing to the minority, especially the immoral minority which has like a cancer spread through much of the living tissue of this nation. It is time for some radical surgery to excise the malignant tumors!

Schools, Media & Homosexuality

Two recent news items, which will probably not be reported in the main Marxist media, document the close connection betwixt radical homosexual activism and its complicit comrades, the government schools and the media. As I wrote in an article a few days ago, the legitimizing and pushing of homosexuality on American society is designed to weaken it and to destroy the moral foundations of America. It has been for quite some time one of the chief goals of the communist movement or whatever they are calling it these days. Whatever word or words you call this force, socialism, secular-humanism or progressivism. The movement is promulgating the “virtues” (vices) of this wicked and perverse lifestyle on the children of America and on America in general. It is extremely harmful and hurtful, even destructive.

INDOCTRINATION BY OUR SCHOOLS

OneNewsNow.com reports that "Newton North High School in Newton (Massachusetts) recently hosted "ToBGLAD," an acronym for "Transgender Bisexual Gay and Lesbian Awareness Day." Brian Camenker of the group MassResistance says he was told by the school's principal that no parents were allowed to attend the all-day lectures and workshops facilitated by homosexual activists. . .”

‘Camenker believes the event at Newton North High School highlights the need for the state legislature to pass a bill that would make such pro-homosexual seminars "opt-in." Such a bill currently has 25 co-sponsors. . .

"This is all taxpayer-funded, and this is what is happening across Massachusetts," he says. ". . . And it's starting to happen across the country. I think that people can't just sit and say ‘This is Massachusetts,' because it's happening in Chicago, it's happening in Los Angeles, it's happening in Florida, it's happening in St. Louis – we're hearing about it everywhere."

I certainly like the “opt in” provision which should me mandated for all such propagandizing of this nation’s youth in our government controlled schools. The National Education Association is also guilty of advancing such indoctrination. The monopolistic NEA, the teachers union, should be broken up as should our entire system of public education. In its place should be an array of options available to parents including a much leaner and more child-teaching oriented public schools system minus the endless useless layers of bureaucracy, a home school network, a virtual school, charter schools etc. Public funding should be primarily in the form of vouchers which parents may use in anyway they wish.

Without a radically different school structure you have what we have today. An elite group of propaganda artists who fill our students with all sorts of anti-American values and principles fit for North Korea or Red China or Cuba or Vietnam, where the state serves as the god to be worshiped.

INDOCTRINATION BY OUR MEDIA

A second news item from OneNewNow.com today reports, “The President of Americans for Truth says the "Today" Show's recent launch of a national musical tour by Cyndi Lauper on behalf of a Human Rights Campaign for transgender equality, is just another example of how the media -- and entertainment industry -- have become an arm of the homosexual agenda.

“HRC's tour is in support of "gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality," according to its website. NBC's Today show launched the True Colors tour, which is no surprise of Peter LaBarbera, whose organization monitors homosexual culture.

“He says the pattern of the media recruiting celebrities to promote social causes is a familiar tactic, as they often grandstand and recruit well for the cause, though their own lifestyle may be disastrous. . . “

The media, I am afraid, functions as the mouthpiece, as the public relations arm or tool of the promoters and supporters of the radical homosexual agenda.

CONCLUSION

The American public schools, the media and even many of our churches are either duped or deliberately desire to ruin America in the name of “human rights”, “equality” and “tolerance”. Homosexuality clearly violates all laws of nature and of nature’s God. Therefore, not only is it unnatural and immoral, it is primarily a choice for a man (homosexual) or a woman (lesbian) to behave wickedly.
