What Democrats Want, Day 1, Countdown to Oblivion? BIDEN

As of today, there is only 1 day until the most consequential election in American history. It’s show time! This is what they say about many past elections, but this is really it. For if the Democrats seize power – control of the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate and the Presidency – and doing it by hook or by crook (the justifies the means, you know) America as we know it will be forever changed. America envisioned and created by the Founding Fathers will disappear into the shadows of history.

The ungodly secular-humanists/Marxists slow march through America’s institutions over the last 100 years or so will have reached a crescendo – fulfilling Mr. Obama’s fundamental transformation of control of the masses.

Envision with me what a Socialist Democratic Party, takeover, a bloodless coup, a regime change, would look like. This is one in a series of daily articles leading up to the 2020 General Election.

 

JOE BIDEN is a place warmer at best. The Democrats are using him to bide time. They are using this man who has obviously lost some of his faculties, but he is perceived as not coming across as radical and abrasive as the radical socialist Bernie Sanders, who is the ideological center of today’s communistic socialistic Democrats.

What would follow Biden‘s demise in 3 or 6 months if the Democrats win the 2020 Election, God forbid, is a George Soros’ hand-picked Vice President and President-in-Waiting, Kamala Harris. She is the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate. She’s to the left of even Sen. Sanders.

Early this morning on a replay of the Red-Eye Radio program as I was listening, I heard mention of a newspaper editorial which caught my attention. I will share some of the more pertinent points from that editorial.

After calling the President every name in the book…one newspaper out on the Wild West Coast in the State of Washington endorsed Donald Trump for President. Spokane’s Spokesman-Review newspaper wrote an “Editorial: With misgivings, vote Trump for president…”

 

Newspaper Endorsement for President

 “Donald Trump is a bully and a bigot. He is symptomatic of a widening partisan divide in the country. We recommend voting for him anyway because the policies that Joe Biden and his progressive supporters would impose on the nation would be worse.

“The list of Trump’s offenses is long...

“Voters knew his character in 2016 and elected him anyway. Four years later, the nation is still standing. Indeed, in many ways it flourished until the pandemic upended everything.

 

Ø  “The economy and markets roared under Trump’s championship of market-based solutions and individualism.

 

Ø   “Unemployment among communities of color reached record lows.

 

Ø  “He reset trade and diplomatic relationships in America’s favor.

 

Ø  “He provided historically high support for traditionally Black colleges.

 

Ø  “He rolled back extreme environmental regulations and led the way for U.S. energy independence.

 

Ø  “He backed federal sentencing reform to address inordinately high American incarceration rates.

 

Ø  “And he’s committed to supporting law and order in American cities.”

 

Newspaper’s Rejection of the Democratic Candidate

“Biden might win on personality and comity, but his policies would strike at the economic well-being of the country.

“massive growth in government and a historic increase in federal spending through

 

·        green initiatives,

·        free health services,

·        free education and

·        other ideas grounded in reliance on the state as savior rather than creating an environment in which individual liberty and hard work can thrive

 

Ø  “Public employee unions would hold outsized power and demand greater spending.

 

Ø  “To afford it all, Biden and a Democrat-controlled Congress would have to impose unprecedented tax increases or accept catastrophic deficit spending.

 

“Taxes and spending likely would increase under Trump, too, but the nation stands a better chance of moderation and reform with him in the White House than it does with Biden pushed left by progressives intent on reshaping America to fit their fantastical vision.

“This is an election that pits a wretched human being whose policies and instincts for helping America thrive are generally correct against a doddering, doting uncle who would hand out gifts the nation can’t afford in order to win people’s love. Given that choice, economic policy and principle should prevail. Vote for Donald Trump.”

 

Conclusion

Wow, the editors use some really scathing words when referring to both candidates. The editorial focused on the President’s positive credentials in dealing with the economy, however he also is much better than Mr. Biden on most social issues as well. The newspaper editorial apparently did not want to further offend its reader by going there.

 

Overall President Trump is the preferable candidate for President on a number of issues, primarily for a respect for the U.S. Constitution and his respect for and work on behalf of all human life.

What Democrats Want, Day 11 Countdown to Oblivion, THE ECONOMY (Part 1)

More and more the Democratic Party, especially with the influence of socialist Senator Bernie Sanders on the Harris-Biden presidential ticket, is following a socialist economic model.

A Socialist Economy

According to an Investopedia.com article, “What Exactly is a Socialist Economy?”, socialists believe, in contrast to capitalism, that “the shared ownership of resources and central planning offer a more equitable distribution of goods and services… Socialism includes the collective ownership of the means of production, central planning of the economy, and the emphasis on equality and economic security with the goal of reducing class distinctions. Most modern nations don't believe in toppling the current capitalistic order but rather instituting socialist practices." 

The Obama Legacy

Lost Manufacturing Industry and Jobs

President Obama told America to get used to the fact that the lost manufacturing jobs would never return to the States. It was to be a new normal.

Overregulation

President Obama, being a big government socialist, was fond of creating a slew of new regulations, forcing industry to bow to the government latest whim, environmental concerns, social engineering via the Lesbian, Homosexual, Bi-Sexual, Transgender (LHBT) agenda, etc.

Taxation

The big government socialist’s lifeline is taxes. Never mind that excessive taxes drive business and jobs out of the county, which it did during the eight years of the economy-killing Obama Administration.

 

The Democratic Party Platform on the Economy

According to a NewYorkTimes.com article, the section of the Democrat platform that addressed the economy “blends and borrows ideas from across the Democratic Party’s ideological spectrum. There are echoes of Mr. Sanders (“The U.S. economy is rigged against the American people”) and wonky subsections that address “Curbing Wall Street Abuses” and “Tackling Runaway Corporate Concentration” — issues highlighted repeatedly by Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.

Raising the Minimum Wage

“Overall, there are few surprises here. Democrats, for instance, support raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2026, a policy already widely backed across the party. They want to invest in infrastructure, including high-speed rail.

Encourage Homeownership

“Democrats also support aggressive steps to encourage homeownership by increasing affordable housing and by giving a $15,000 tax credit to first-time home buyers, among other initiatives…”

 

The Democratic Party Pie-in-the-Sky Solution

Green energy, the Green New Deal, is being touted as the savior of the planet’s environment and the American economy. So long economical fossil fuels, hello wishful wind, sometimes solar energy. Expect an Environmental Protection Director Alexandria Ocasio Cortez working closely with President Kamala Harris to usher in Venezuelan-style economy if the Democratic Party gains full control of the government wheel…

What Democrats Want, Day 29, Countdown to Oblivion? FUTURE

OUR-children (see Day 64 post) are our future. If that is true what will the future look like for them? Right now, looking at what is happening on our college campuses and the streets the future seems mostly cloudy rather than bright.

The Fate of the Next Generation

Dr. James Dobson wrote in an op ed titled, “The stakes are high this election year,” “There is a battle waging in the classrooms and our communities for the hearts and souls of our children and grandchildren. Our young ones are being force-fed a radical agenda that is godless, anti-American and sexually perverted. Make no mistake, the left and secular culture want your sons and daughters as their own. As parents, our children’s spiritual formation is job No. 1, and we need to be extremely careful to whom we give the power to shape our children.” So, which party would enable this brainwashing? It is clear that with the support of organizations like Teacher Unions (NEA and AFT), Human Rights Campaign (HRC), and the ACLU are big supporters of Democrats that they promote what is going on today with America’s children. The Republicans for the most part believe in the founders’ values and oppose much of what is going on in our schools K-12 and in our colleges and universities.

 

A Communistic Democratic Future

The following is what the future will look like if the Democratic Party wins the 2020 U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Presidency in 2020 or 2024:

 

Ø  The ECONOMY will collapse and will be folded into a global governance headed by China, Russia, the European Union and what remains of the United States. Businesses will be taxed and regulated out of existence. The government will nationalize industries, including healthcare, energy, manufacturing, etc.

Ø   The GOVERNMENT will be permanently ruled by the Democratic Party. The Constitution will be retired. A new constitution will give power to a ruling council made up of key Democratic “leaders” who will dictate policy.

Ø  The MEDIA will be controlled by the Government. The media will become a key branch of the government. The media will conform to the dictates of the ruling council.

Ø  The ARTS and ENTERTAINMENT will be controlled by the government. Artists, actors and sports players will all be employed by the government.

Ø  The state RELIGION will be secular-humanism and all other religions will be subservient to the state. Licenses will be granted to religious bodies in order for them to operate. Violators will be prosecuted.

Ø  FAMILIES will be redefined to include any combination of men and women and children. The government and not the parent will be ultimately responsible for the development and the career track of children. MARRIAGE will become a thing of the past; it will be done away with.

Ø  Only state-run SCHOOLS will be allowed to exist, K through College. Teacher unions will become agencies of the government and will dictate the curriculum for schools and professional programs.

 

A Constitutional Republican Future

The following is what the future will look like if the Republican Party retains the U.S. Senate, retakes the U.S. House of Representatives and keeps the U.S. Presidency in 2020 or 2024:

Ø  Once the Communist Chinese Coronavirus nonsense ends on 11-4-2020 the economy will gradually return to pre-COVID-19 glory. It will take several years to fully recover, but the backbone of the economy – small businesses – will re-emerge to their key position with the help and support of the Republican Congress. Minorities will be encouraged and supported to enter the market. The U.S. will once again manufacture the bulk of their products here giving many Americans jobs.

Ø  GOVERNMENT will continue to be downsized. Regulations and taxes will be kept to a minimum. Reduction of the debt will be a chief priority of both the executive and the legislative branches. The U.S. will be working toward a balanced budget.

Ø  Competition will be encouraged in the MEDIA. Taxpayer funding of PBS and NPR should be eliminated making public broadcasting more competitive for funding. Some of the monopolistic broadcast and cable entities will be broken up. Special protections for social media giants must end and these monopolies may also need to be broken up.

Ø  ARTS and ENTERTAINMENT will be allowed to operate freely except for pornographic content which will be monitored and fined as appropriate.

Ø  RELIGION and religious expression will be protected in and outside of the local churches. True freedom of religion will encourage and permitted throughout the culture, society and business. Rights of conscience will also be recognized and protected.

Ø  Policies encouraging abstinence before marriage and programs emphasizing the importance of FAMILY (defined as a biological man and a biological woman with biological and/or adopted children). Parents will have the ultimate responsibility and final say in the development and welfare of their children.

Ø  There will be a wide array of SCHOOLS available for parents to select for their children. Vouchers will be provided parents where payment will follow the child in whatever school, homeschool situation they choose. Programs will be offered encouraging basic fatherhood concepts and motherhood concepts and basic marriage principles for older students. Teaching true American History, basic civics will be standards which will be tested prior to graduation.  

 

Conclusion

Voters have an opportunity in this election season to choose two very divergent paths or futures for America. One path is free-enterprise and freedom (vote Republican) and the other is communism and slavery (vote Democratic).

Tyrannical Government and Governors

Thursday morning, I read a passage about the power of insistent prayer achieving effective action in the Bible’s book of Luke (Luke 18:1-8 NASB). 

18 Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, ² saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man. ³ There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me legal protection from my opponent.’ ⁴ For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, ⁵ yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’”

 ⁶ And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; ⁷ now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? ⁸ I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

Immediately I was impressed to apply this passage to the current outrage and rising protests to the largely overblown and unnecessary actions by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and other leaders in their response to the coronavirus so-called pandemic.

Realistically, it is more like a plannedemic, if you ask me. Oh, the virus is very real alright, but most of the officials’ response to it is far worse than the virus-causing disease itself could ever be.

By my count there have been at least five protests so far of Gov. DeWine and his administration’s handing of the coronavirus “crisis.”

I attended the third protest held at the Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio, Friday, 4.17.2020, where some 50 souls gathered to object to Gov. DeWine’s and his petite pro-abortion tyrant-in-a-white-lab-coat, Dr. Amy Acton’s overreaction and overreach based on her far-fetched, false, fear-inducing statistical models on which she based her questionable ACTiONs. These models have proved to be wholly and woefully misleading. After all, they come with the blessing of the communist-globalist infused World Health Organization (WHO), which gladly President Trump ended funding of that evil anti-American organization.

The first protest (and here) was held Thursday, 4.9.2020 at the Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio, against Governor’s reaction and action regarding the coronavirus “pandemic.”

Then on Monday, 4.13.2020, a second protest (and here), where 75-100 people gathered and continued the drive to end the shutdown or lockdown of America’s and Ohio’s economy and the accompanying unnecessary job losses.

Other states were also seeing protests gaining momentum in their capitols. One powerful example was the snarling traffic jam caused in Lansing, MI when thousands and thousands of cars participated in a drive-around the Capitol in protest of Hitleresque Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s (D-MI) tyrannical display of socialist power grab imitating the actions of a third world dictator who recently gained unlimited power over his or her subjects.

I didn’t join the fourth protest, Saturday, 4.18.2020. That day’s protest attracted hundreds, 200+ protesters, more than doubling the total of all the previous protests.

But I did attend the fifth protest, which was conducted on Monday, 4.20.2020. This protest drew 500 or more people, a nice cross section of American society being represented from babies, families, young people, adults to COVID-19 susceptible but patriotic and perturbed elders. The day started off with prayer and ended with resolve to continue this very worthy endeavor.

A CALL TO PRAYER AND ACTION

Just as in the case of Jesus’ parable about the wicked judge mentioned above, we must  incessantly demand our leaders do the right thing and simultaneously diligently praying. And secondly, by faith, act on those demands and prayers against the misguided Governor(s) who stubbornly and unwisely refuse to end this drawn out and mostly unnecessary and unreasonable economy- and job-destroying shutdown.

Some poignant signs dramatically and loudly shouted on Saturday, “People are Essential,” “Jobs are Essential,” and the “Economy is Essential”!

Let us emulate the abused widow and insist incessantly that the judge (or governor) remedy the injustice we are facing - the economy and job-killing lockdown - until he relents and gives into our just demands.

Obviously, Gov. DeWine, (Dr. Amy Acton and others in his administration as well as leaders of other states) by his (their) actions disrespects and neither fears God nor the disgruntled people. In other words, the Governor is clearly ignoring the just demands of the We the People, when they stand outside near or on the steps of the statehouse demanding to be heard.

Stated differently, let us continue to bother, wear down the resistance of the Governor(s) by dramatically continuing to increase our numbers at protests as well and intensifying the pressure this Saturday and onward at the Statehouse in Columbus and other state capitols across our still somewhat free nation.

“Give Me Liberty, or Give Me COVID-19,” read another insightful, inspired sign I observed this past Saturday, which clearly summarizes the dilemma and situation facing U.S.

MOUNTING PROTESTS

Now this Saturday, 4.25.2020, at 1:00 p.m. thousands are expected to join the protest again in Downtown Columbus. If you live in Ohio and can come you are needed. Pray. Protest. Persevere.

The website We the People Convention has a great deal of helpful and insightful information dealing with how we can respond to our government's missteps and what we can practically do about it. Tom Zawistowski has a weekly radio show and podcast that offers a weekly summary of useful news to the conservative-minded patriot.

In America, is a penny saved still a penny earned?

"A penny saved is a penny earned," the essence of the original proverb according to one source means, “Money that you save is more valuable than money that you spend right away. It is good to save money.” This truism or truth, like traditional man-woman marriage, which has stood the test of time, is under attack today in America.

However, according to a tweet I read this morning by @DavidJones740, that reliable truth may now be passé. President Barack Obama and his leftist cohorts are succeeding in transforming America. David Jones tweeted that the above idiom no longer fits here in America; it has morphed  into something different, it has been replaced, it has transformed into the following reality:

“A penny saved is no longer a penny earned. It is a government oversight.”

The government obviously accepts this new interpretation. It acts as if it is starved for more taxes, for more revenue so it can redistribute America’s wealth as it sees fit. The government and those in power need additional resources in order to continue to reward its supporters, crony capitalists, and the Low Information Voters so critical to maintaining its power.

All money, all rights belong to the state, the government. It is the sole diviner or distributor of rights, phones, food stamps, and other bennies. Many of its citizens also have deliberately or ignorantly also accepted it. They have sold their soul, not to the company store because it has been closed, but to their new idol or god, the government leviathan.

I was so impressed with the profound truth found in the tweet this morning that I posted it on my favorite on-line forum, Cleveland.com Politics Forum this morning. It was removed from the forum within an hour! Why? Did it offend those protectors of the liberal agenda? Was some other reader offended by this truth? I believe that that statement was censored by some liberal or truth-denier.

What a shame, because that simple tweet expressed so well a powerful truth. The fact that truths like this and even certain news items that may shed a bad light on the Leftist Agenda are getting ignored, unreported, or censured is why the number of Low Information Voters is growing. The Low Information Voter is being nurtured by the powers on the Left including the main stream media and other destroyers of American values. That is exactly why I re-posted it here on AGoodChoice…! The truth needs to get out.

Ron and Rand

It just seems so strange to me that so many of the same people who are so afraid to vote for Ron Paul are ones who were so wild about his son Rand when he ran for Senate just two years ago.  I mean, yeah, Ron and Rand are not exactly same on all of the issues, but they are very close on most of the important ones.  Whenever someone gives me a reason why they are not going to vote for Ron Paul, they usually say that they like him on economic issues, but not his foreign policy.  Some cite the drug issue also.  Well, Ron and Rand are very close on these issues.  Of course, you can’t have your cake and eat it too.  Either you are in favor of cutting spending on the military and things like the war on drugs, or you are in favor of borrowing more money to pay for these things and putting the nation into an even deeper debt.  Regardless of whose fault it is, that is the situation we find ourselves in.  We can dig ourselves out of this hole we are in, but we can’t do it if listen to the scare tactics of the big spenders.  There are few problematic issues with Ron Paul--most especially that he supported allowing federal funding for needle exchange programs, but most people don’t know about this.

Here are a few theories I have about why people won’t support Ron, but would support Rand.  Firstly, I think people listen to the radio talk show hosts and to certain organizations who are telling them to bad things about Ron Paul.  These would include Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, the Family Research Council (Action), and possibly the Christian Coalition. But these same talk show hosts and organizations were much more favorable to Rand.  Some people just listen to these guys and do what they say without thinking critically.  People tell me the same reasons for not wanting to vote for Ron Paul almost word for word, like as if they were repeating a mantra that they heard over and over again.

There was an email rumor going around that claimed that Ron Paul was somehow associated with George Soros.  This is totally ridiculous.  Ron Paul and other Republicans were chosen by John Boehner to serve on a particular committee.  The Democrats on the committee were chosen by Nancy Pelosi.  This happens all the time.  The committee was charged with the task of selecting a task force which would prepare a non-binding report on findings about how military defense spending could be reduced without compromising security.  Apparently there were some members of this task force who were also members of organizations supported by George Soros.  But this email does not say which congressmen were the ones who selected those particular panelists.  The email also fails to mention that two of the members of the task force were members of well respected conservative think tank, the CATO institute.  (In my opinion, the CATO institute is actually not so hot, but it would be to most of the intended recipients of the email.)  And there were also CFR members and at least one Rockefeller Institute member on the panel.  (For those of you who don’t know, these are One World Government advocating organizations.)  So the panel was not very good, but was that Ron’s fault?  The fact that Ron Paul would be chosen for this committee is a pretty good indication that it didn’t have very much power.

Another reason why Rand may be more popular is his message.  Even though he is against the war on drugs, unreasonable searches and seizures, and overextending our military, he tended to focus more on populist messages directed at the general public.  For example, his campaign platform included term limits, a balanced budget amendment, and not allowing corporations to lobby Congress if they receive more than some much money a year in government contracts.  But none of these things are really was makes a Constitutional conservative.  Ron Paul mockingly asked why anyone would be so stupid that they would need the government to tell him that he shouldn’t take heroin.  Rand took the exact same position on the issue, but said it in a kinder, gentler manner.  In my opinion, both of them need to incorporate the 10^th Amendment into their answers to questions more often.  And not just on the drug issue, but healthcare, entitlements and a lot of other things.  I think there needs to be more talk about using our precious tax dollars on maintaining and improving our missile defense system rather than trying to stop nations from having a nuclear bomb. Rand Paul started out saying that Gitmo prisoner should be tried in courts or released, but later changed his tune.

I am interested in readers’ opinions on why people will vote for Rand, but not Ron.  What do you think?  Is it all just because of media hype or campaign strategy?  And what will happen if Rand runs for President in 2016 or 2020 (if we have anything left of our nation by then)?  Will the “conservative” talk show hosts turn on Rand to prevent real change?

Ohioans For Ohio Ballot Initiative

The Bridge to Obama's Re-election Hopes

A lot of people have talking about the Brent Spence Bridge and Obama's statements about it.  Since I am a Cincinnatian, I have to weigh in on this.  Read below what both sides are saying.

Statement of Chairman Alex M. Triantafilou, Chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party:

President Obama will visit Ohio today using the Brent Spence bridge as a nice political background for a campaign speech.  The tri-state region is united around the fact that our aging bridge needs to be replaced.  The bridge is important to the economic vitality of this area.  But, the President and his team know that this bridge is years away from completion and has nothing to do with creating jobs.  Today's L.A. Times online said it best: "Obama touts his jobs plan at an Ohio bridge that won't qualify.  President Obama chose this bridge and this location because he recognizes that his political future is bleak and his reelection chances are slim.  He comes to the critical swing state of Ohio to campaign--not to help our region or to create jobs.  As is typical of big spending Democrats, he is dangling the prospect of a shiny new bridge to our community hoping to entice voters.  I believe the voters of Southwest Ohio will see clear through this political stunt.  President Obama should stop the campaign and return to Washington and begin serious discussions with Congress to rectify the serious fiscal challenges our nation faces."

He praises Obama for his visit to the Brent Spence Bridge in Cincinnati and his proposal to spend $50 billion in taxpayer's money to repair it.  He calls the bridge "functionally obsolete".  He thinks that this will create "hundreds of thousands of jobs across the country".  But, he claims, that Boehner, Chabot, and Schmidt are against allowing the good American people to have these jobs.  He accuses them of being in favor of "millionaire tax giveaways".

Here is my take:

I wonder how many jobs were lost because many critical shipments were delayed when Obama tied up traffic with his pointless visit to my city.  I don't agree with the assessment that our bridge needs to replaced.  Yes, it does need a lot of repairs and maintainance, but I just don't see wasting so much money tearing it down and rebuilding it.  This would take years and years to complete and it would be a long, long, time before any real economic benefit would be realized.  As for Obama's motives, I will not judge and don't know what is going through his mind, but his actions will not accomplish anything good.  But I also agree with Brian that our Republican congressman also are willing to run over the poor and middle class to pay off their rich buddies.  Two of out three of them voted for the bailouts.  Two out of three of them voted for the Smith-Leahy America Invents Act which takes away inventors' rights and unconstitutionally gives them to "the first to file".  The list goes on and on, but roughly two out three Democrats, including Obama, voted for these same "giveaways".  All this partisan finger pointing is as pointless as Obama's visit to Cincinnati.  People need to see that its not about Republicans against Democrats, but is us (the taxpayers) against them (the politicians of both parties, except for a few like Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Mike Lee and Walter Jones).
