The Left’s Brutal War on the TEA Party Movement

When I got home from work Thursday evening I had to read the article that I had just been able to glance at in the morning. It originates from the an extreme leftist website, Alternet.org. I offered my comments below to the artcle, “Slick, Paranoid Tea Party Video Aims for Violent Insurrection, Fear walks the land, and the Tea Party Patriots are here to package and sell it.”

The author seems offended by the real fear many Americans have, including many TEA Party participants and sympathizers of the “dictatorial near-future government.”  Well, duh, it’s at our doorstep. President Obama has been described as practicing soft tyranny. Some examples include:

*** refusing to enforce immigration laws,

*** refusing to submit a budget (past due since February 1^st),

*** his Justice Department undertakes operations like Fast and Furious, which was designed to discredit gun owners to further his anti-gun agenda.

*** What about his Justice Department refusal to prosecute the New Black Panther Party because the victims were not a minority?  

Like other would-be dictators Dear Leader seems to be comfortable operating above the law.

The author goes on to describe the Tea Party Patriot’s video, shown recently at CPAC, as being “a thinly veiled advertisement for violent insurrection.” What really chaps me is the actual violence and anarchy displayed by the Occupy Wall Street movement, and the refusal of the media to cover the less savory aspects of that incredulous socialist orchestrated movement. Compare any TEA Party event with any OWS event, you can tell a lot by the trash and damage each movement left behind. The OWS movement cost the taxpayers a great deal more than the typical TEA Party protest event ever did.

“Nightmarish bureaucracies” is an apt term to be used to characterize today’s EPA, Education Department, and Justice Department. Just as any business person, who must fight through reams of red tape and maneuver over numerous hoops, to get into and stay in business. The bureaucracy is indeed something to be afraid of… Look what the 2,000 page ObamaCare Bill with its 15,000 pages of regulation will cost Americans…

The slogans “We meet every need” and “Developing Every Need ” seem to me to be describing today’s Democrat Party and President Obama's ‘leadership’ philosophy.

The author cites the Southern Poverty Law Center as a credible source. It isn’t. It is a disreputable, bigoted leftist hate group, which seeks to malign and marginalize any organizations that are diametrically opposed to such ‘rights’ as abortion, homosexuality, and Christian-bashing.

This article was pure vitriol and hatred towards a group and a movement that just wants to get America back its moorings, its founding principles - Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets. What in the world is wrong with that?

Palin’s Commencement Address to Alaska & America

Over the lunch hour I caught a few minutes of the Rush Limbaugh Radio Show. He played a few clips of Governor Palin’s Farewell Address in Alaska, which she made on Sunday. I was impressed with some of the sound bites. I listened to the entire speech and want to highlight a few of the more stunning and powerful remarks. She did the speech without the aid of a teleprompter, by the way.

REBUKING THE MALIGNANT OPPOSITION MEDIA

Speaking to leftist reporters and bloggers who unmercifully belittled, berated her and her family and traditional American values she pleaded, [@ 4:15 of the video ] “You represent what could and should be a respected, honest profession that could and should be a cornerstone of our democracy. Democracy depends on you and that is why, that is why our troops are willing to die for you. So, how about in honor of the American soldier, YA QUIT MAKING THINGS UP?” This was an obvious, long overdue, rightful slap at the media’s malpractice, which so characterized the Leftist dominated opposition media (ABC, AP, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, MoveOn.org, Huffington Post, NY Times, etc.)

BLASTING BIG BROTHER

Speaking to individuals and businesses tempted to take a government handout she warned, [@1:30 of the video] “Be wary of accepting government largesse. It doesn’t come free. Often accepting it takes away everything that is free. Melting into Washington’s powerful caretaking arms will so suck incentive to work hard and chart our own course right out of us. And that not only contribute to an unstable economy and dizzying national debt, but it does make us less free.”

ENCOURAGING PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Governor Palin points out probably one of the most important things absent in the policies and agenda of the current administration, [ @2:49 of the video ] “At statehood we knew . . . that we are RESPONSIBLE for ourselves and our families and our future. And fifty years later, please let’s not start believing that government is the answer. It can’t make you HAPPY, HEALTHY, WEALTHY, or WISE. What can? It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses and industrious individuals. And it is God’s grace helping those who help themselves. And then this allows that very generous VOLUNTARY hand-up that we can known for, enthusiastically providing for those who need it.” Whether she runs again for political office or not she will be an effective voice for conservatives to the bane of Liberals across the nation. She'll tell it like it is and help put traction to the Tea Party Movement . . .

ENCOURAGING RESPONSIBLE USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES

Confronting obstructionist environmental extremists and extremism, she chided, [ @ 4:20 of the video ] “We must be prudent and persistent and press for the peoples’ right to RESPONSIBLY develop God-given resources for the maximum benefit of the people.”

MY OVERALL ASSESSMENT OF THE SPEECH

Overall, I find Sarah Palin to be Reaganesque and so refreshing in her positive upbeat approach to political challenges and issues that we face. What a stark contrast to the negative, crisis-oriented, fear-based, America-hating, enemy-appeasing that so characterizes the current occupier of the White House and our lame Congress and its Congressional 'leaders'.

Media Malpractice (2009)

The much anticipated documentary - "Media Malpractice, How (Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack) Obama Got Elected and (Sarah) Palin was Targeted"- by John Ziegler is expected to be released on Monday. The movie will document the death of journalism in America. Watch it.

Over weekend the trailer for the film will be available exclusively at the brand new and improved www.HowObamaGotElected.com website.

I watched the trailer. It was impressive. I ordered the documentary and look forward to seeing America's reaction to it, especially that of the opposition media (ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, PBS, the NY Times, etc.)

I have watched several interview of Mr. Ziegler (the View and cable TV interviews.) He more than held his own.

Ann Coulter Bests Alan Colmes on Dr. Phil

I originally saw the embedded video and story on NewsBusters.org. NewBuster's Noel Shepperd's article read in part, “Conservative author Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity's former liberal co-host Alan Colmes were Dr. Phil's guests Thursday, and an astounding thing happened: the crowd seemed to like Coulter more than Colmes . . .” Maybe there actually is still hope for America.

MsUnderestimated writes on her blog and excerpted here, “Today on Dr. Phil, the subject was “President Obama - Hope Vs. Reality.” Ann Coulter, Alan Colmes, and Scott McClellan were guests. I was absolutely SHOCKED by the warm reception Ann got from Dr. Phil’s audience, especially since they’re in California. What a stark contrast in the way the mainstream media (NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC) has treated and continues to treat Governor Sarah Palin, since she burst on the national scene, primarily because of her Christian and conservative beliefs and positions versus the cordial, worshipful treatment given to this princess of political correctness, the grossly inexperienced Caroline Kennedy.

The same treatment was accorded to and lavished upon President-elect, -elite Barack Obama, which was a major factor in his election victory this fall. He was virtually unvetted by the press, giving him a pass on anything that would tarnish the messianic image the adoring media created and portrayed and continues to portray of this grossly inexperienced "Man of the Year."

Is the NAE Becoming Like the NEA? Part 1

I became aware, through the Crosstalk America radio show, that Rev. Richard Cizik, a so-called Evangelical leader, who was interviewed on a National Public Radio (NPR) show last Tuesday. In listening to an archived version of that NPR radio show, I confirmed that his positions and ideas were very troublesome to any true believer of Jesus Christ. We will explore, in a series of articles starting today, what was discussed on that particular NPR radio show.

The NAE stands for the National Association of Evangelicals. The NAE is comprised of some 45,000 churches representing 50 denominations and 30 million constituents.

The NEA stands for the National Education Association, which is the major teachers’ union in America. They lobby on behalf of their member teachers. Unfortunately, the NEA has advocates, using its teachers’ dues, the most radical of liberal causes. Much of their advocacy works counter to the educating our children in the 3 Rs and does not improve the teachers' situation. Furthermore, the NEA has literally helped to destroy and to transform our educational system into one that is grossly inferior to that of most developed nations.

Through the course of this series of articles you will see that the ideology and priorities of these two apparently divergent organizations’ are beginning to merge.

REV. RICHARD CIZIK ON GOD AND GLOBAL WARMING

This so-called representative of Evangelicals, Richard Cizak, has profoundly upset a lot of true Christians, including myself, with statements made in an interview on the liberal National Public Radio show he gave last week. CizIk must have set out to make points with the outright liberal Fresh Air from WHYY program on December 2, 2008 hosted by Terri Gross.· The description on the NPR website summarizes this particular program, “Conservative Christian Richard Cizik preaches the message of environmentalism from a pro-life perspective. Cizik is the vice president for governmental affairs of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), a powerful lobbying organization . . .”

WHO DID YOU VOTE FOR FOR PRESIDENT?

Terri Gross, the host of the Fresh Air (actually Putrid Air would be more apt) stated that the environment and climate change have been priorities for Cizik. This she noted has put Cizik at odds with “older Evangelical leaders” and some in the Republican Party (duh!!!). To stir up the hornet’s nest quickly, she asked Cizik who he voted for President. His reply was that he voted for the “best choice” in the Virginia primary, and that was Democrat Barack Obama. He was evasive about whom he definitively voted for in the general election, but hinted that his primary vote was an “indication” of who he voted for in the general election. What a wonderfully politically correct answer!

Cizik went on to say that “all of us want this man to succeed, absolutely. If we don’t there is something wrong with us.” I wonder, Mr. Cizik, what do you mean by success? Do you mean passage of the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), granting amnesty to illegals, higher taxes, taking guns away from the people, increasing the national debt, surrendering our sovereignty to the United Nations through treaties such as Kyoto and LOST, surrendering victory in Iraq, permitting openly homosexual behavior in the military, creating a Hitler-style youth brigade to “protect” our neighborhoods, or buying into the global warming craze? That, sir, would not be success. Obama must be fought on these social and fiscal issues that matter to conservatives and Christians.

DOES FAITH MATTER?

Gross went on to ask a second provocative question, to which Cizik responded even more controversially. “How important is faith to you when you are voting?” Cizik answered, “I think it is very important, BUT it is not THE factor, nor should it be. Though there are those who by identity politics and culture war, they do that, and (they say) that is the most important factor. I say absolutely not. I say character first, of which faith is part, of course it helps determine one’s values. But there are other factors, such as the philosophy of government, two parties, two different philosophies, and lastly, the issues. So it is possible for me to disagree, for example, with a candidate on high profile issues, and still believe that on the basis of character or philosophy, he is the better of the two candidates. So, in this case, it would be possible, as Evangelicals did, to disagree with Barack Obama on same-sex marriage and abortion, and yet vote for him. We know they did. Not because of those positions (where) he stood, but in spite those positions."

Mr. Cizik, I ask you, “What are the character qualities that commend Obama to you? With what in the Democratic platform positions do you agree? Of the two platforms the GOP platform at least is strongly pro-life and pro-marriage, while the Democratic Party platform is severely lacking in substance on the social issues. For example, it states a woman has a "right" to kill her baby, but that we should support those women who choose to allow their babies to live. The Democratic platform is in total, morally deficient. I see Obama as being grossly inexperienced, ill prepared for the important office of President. His positions, policies, and beliefs are essentially evil. He had the most radically liberal record of all the Senators in Congress. He even favored the killing of babies born in botched abortion procedures. This was done in order to protect the liberal sacred cow, the woman’s right to murder her baby! It is inconceivable for me that ANY true follower of Jesus Christ would vote for a candidate like Obama. It would be precisely because of his lack of character and his lack of Biblically-based principles that I could never bring myself to vote for such a man.

Mr. Cizik, faith means absolute trust and dependence in God, in Jesus Christ as the only way to God and faith in Christian principles as outlined in Scripture, the ultimate guide to life and liberty. Faith is the foundation to a Christian’s life in all matters. At least it is for true Christ-followers.

TESTING THE FRUIT

Finally, in your Bible, Mr. Cizik, in Matthew 7:16-30 you will read,

"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits."

This, sir, is talking about Barack Obama. How can a man who believes that it is okay to abort babies for any reason and even to allow babies born alive to be killed. That man’s fruit is bad. That man’s character is bad. That man has no faith. You, Rev. Cizik seem to be a blind shepherd!

My personal feeling with being faced with two inferior candidates for President offered by our major political parties, we must turn our attention to insuring more conservative American-values oriented persons are elected to the U.S. Congress.



Scandal Ridden Mahoney, Democrat, Seeks Re-Election

THE RACE

NewsBusters.com reported, “A week ago, Rep. Tim Mahoney, the ethically compromised liberal legislator who replaced Rep. Mark Foley, admitted to adultery, but unlike Foley, is running for re-election anyway.” His wife recently filed for divorce. Double standard, hypocrisy, do the Democrats have no ethics or morals. Obviously not, like the socialists and Marxist, which many of them are, they will do and say anything to get elected. The end justifies the means. The mainstream media had a field day two years ago with Rep. Foley. He was in the news relentlessly. NewsBusters.com reports that only ABC-TV covered this important story. NBC and CBS is yet to mention it. Disgracefully, biased, shameful are all I can say.

This is one seat that the Republicans can and must pick up this year. The district is Republican, so the chances of defeating this incumbent are good. Therefore the people of Florida must do the right thing and toss this adulterer out on his liberal posterior. He should follow the example of Eliot Spitzer (New York) and Mark Dann (Ohio), Kwame Fitzpatrick (Detroit) other recently disgraced Democrats who were pressured to resign over their moral failures and indiscretions. Mahoney must love the power too much, or he must feel that the Ten Commandments do not apply to him.

THE RATING

Tom Rooney, a republican, claims to be a conservative, who says on his website that he is pro-life and pro-one man, one woman marriage. He also enumerates a number of other conservative issues on his web site. The major “problem” with Rooney is that his family has had some past ownership interest in the Pittsburgh Steelers. Being a native and follower of the Cleveland Browns this taints the man, good thing I do not live in Florida!

His opponent, the incumbent, unrepentant adulterer and tarnished Democrat, Tim Mahoney is rated by OnTheIssues.com as a “Moderate Liberal.” “Immoderate liberal” may now be a more apt description now that the his adulterous relationships have been brought to light! He supported embryonic stem cell research and voted in favor of prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation, which is unnecessary because their are already laws on the books to protect Americans from discrimination.

THE REALITIES

This contest will be one to watch. Will the people of Florida accept the gross behavior of Rep. Mahoney? Or will they, like Rep. Foley, disqualify him as their representative? We will find out Tuesday, November 4th won’t we?

How Does Biden Handle Tough Questioning?

It was very really refreshing to see Orlando, Florida’s WFTV-Channel 9's Barbara West satellite interview with Democratic V.P. candidate Joe Biden last Thursday. However, it obviously ticked off the third most liberal senator in Congress. NewBusters.com reported that the Obama campaign cancelled Biden’s wife's scheduled interview with WFTV as well as all further interviews until after the election.

It seems to me that the opponents of the Democrats have been serving up high and hard ones daily by the mainstream media. The same is not the typical or truth of how the media relates to the messiah Obama or his chief prophet Biden.

Biden obviously was expecting typical Obama friendly softball type questioning. Instead, he got high hard fast balls thrown up and in the strike zone by this no nonsense Florida reporter. Congratulations Ms. West for doing your job. You did Floridians and Americans a real service!

The Conclusion

I grudgingly watched most of the debate. Why, I don't know. It did seem like McCain did land in enemy territory. PBS's Jim Lehrer slants leftward as does the radical liberal Barack Obama. I do not care for either candidate. Neither would be good for this country. However, I think that McCain won the debate, but that is not saying much. Both candidates seems to swing socialist and differ only in the matter of degree. McCain is a moderate socialist, while Obama tends to being an extreme socialist, a Saul Alinsky Marxist. Pick your poison, a slow death or a quicker killing.

"FED UP," A Citizen’s State of the Union Message

T.D. passes on to AGC… the following excellent State of the Union message from the perspective of an ordinary American citizen which both the President and the Congress ought to hear loud and clear . . .

Mr. President, members of Congress:

The state of this union is: In grave peril and in danger of collapse!

Due to inappropriate actions and or inaction on the part of those entrusted with managing this great nation--that would be YOU, ladies and gentlemen-- the United States of America is on the brink of declining into a third-world cesspool.

It is imperative that our government recognize the fact that the people are FED UP with the attempt to undermine American sovereignty, homeland security, and culture.

In short, the people are:

FED UP with plans to merge the United States into a North American alliance with Canada and Mexico. Such a plan would destroy American sovereignty and is totally unacceptable.

FED UP with the refusal of the federal government to secure our borders at time of war.

FED UP when Mexicans and others illegally cross our borders and assault and or kill Americans, yet our government takes no action, and refuses to even protest.

FED UP when Americans defending the U.S. from drug smuggling illegal aliens are sent to federal prison, while invading criminals are to be forgiven via amnesty for violating our borders and laws.

FED UP with the fact that upwards of 38 million illegal aliens are currently in America, and cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars every year.

FED UP with a president who orders thousands of young Americans into harm's way thousands of miles from home, but who refuses to properly secure America.

FED UP with politicians who refuse to enforce immigration laws and who claim it is "impossible" to deport criminals here illegally.

FED UP with illegal aliens who can not and/or will not speak English.

FED UP with taxpayer dollars being wasted to print documents in foreign languages.

FED UP with illegal aliens who dump their medical bills on the backs of U.S. taxpayers, but who send $30-40 billion a year back to Mexico and other countries each year.

FED UP with the fact that providing free medical services to illegal aliens drives hospitals out of business, making those facilities unavailable to American citizens for whom the medical centers were intended.

FED UP with our schools being invaded by non-English speaking children who impede the learning process of students who genuinely belong here.

FED UP with the fact that federal, state, and local penal systems are overrun by illegal aliens, again costing taxpayers billions each year.

FED UP with the fact that, on average, illegal aliens kill 12 Americans every day.

FED UP with the fact that the overwhelming majority of felony crimes being investigated in Los Angeles have been committed by illegals from Mexico.

FED UP with politicians who refuse to round up and deport millions of illegal aliens who are destroying American culture and language.
FED UP with politicians who pamper illegal aliens with driver's licenses and free public services, which encourage even more invaders to come to America.

FED UP with the attempted Mexicanization of America. Mexico is a third-world slum, and we are FED UP with those who want America to be like Mexico!

Finally, Mr. President and members of the U.S. Congress, people are FED UP with those who consistently work on behalf of illegal aliens and Mexico, and against the interests of the American people!

Please do not underestimate the dissatisfaction and rage swelling in the hearts of patriotic Americans on this vital issue.

The state of this union is untenable and must not continue.

We DEMAND our great country back!

COMMENTS

I echo these remarks.

What a contrast between the fluff and frill presented by President G.W. Bush in his recent hour-long final State of the Union message and this substantive and powerful description of the real problems and the true state of America today. Thanks T.D. for sending us this message and thanks to Mr. Merrill for so eloquent a statement.

I am sorely afraid that the current candidate crop in both parties, namely Rodham-Clinton, Obama, Romney and McCain will perpetuate and actually worsen the state of our union if they were to be elected. Our only hope lies in a fallible Mike Huckabee at this point in time, unless a truer conservative is drafted by the Republican Party or emerges as an independent.

Who’s victory was “huge”, McCain’s and/or Obama’s?

An example of blatant media bias is the coverage the main stream media gave the opposing parties of the results of the South Carolina primary elections. The GOP and the Democrat primaries were held on two different dates. The latest was Saturday with pro-abort Obama defeating pro-aborts Rodham-Clinton and Edwards. I noticed that AOL news (and I suspect most of the old media did as well) used the word “big” and “huge” in in describing Senator John McCain’s narrow win over former Governor Mike Huckabee. In my mind it was a narrow victory, McCain squeaked by, he barely eecked out a win. He won yes, but to call it “huge” is at least an exaggeration. At worst it was manipulation.

The media is in love with the moderate-to-liberal maverick McCain. They would like to see either he or Mayor Rudy Giuliani be the Republican Party nominee for president. Both more nearly represent many of the liberal to leftist positions. The New York Times (NY Slimes – per conservative talk radio host Mark Levin) endorsed McCain, but would never endorse him in the general election. They do not want a conservative to win the GOP nomination. That is why they virtually ignored Representatives Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo.

What Obama did in South Carolina was really HUGE. He shellacked her majesty Madame Rodham-Clinton more than 2 to 1 that is 28 percentage points higher. But of course the media is cautious about telling the truth about the terrible beating the carpetbagger received. She still has a great following among the leftist press.

Being the most conservative of the un-conservative conservatives Mike Huckabee will be cut no slack. The MSM cannot ignore him completely, but they will never fully report the truth about him. They want him to lose to one for anointed – McCain, Giuliani or even flip-flopping and recent forged conservative card carrying Mitt Romney. Huckabee, though, by no means the conservative America needs, is, by his stated positions and his imperfect record is still more conservative than any of the three aforementioned individuals especially on the issues most critical to me – abortion, traditional marriage and Fair Trade. His nearest rival as a near-conservative is libertarian Congressman Ron Paul, who is not as strong as Huckabee on the issues of abortion and traditional marriage and I believe does not fully understand the threat that Islam, Islam-inspired and Islam-supported terrorism are to the Western civilization.
