Mr. President, I think we’ll pass on it. --- The American People
If this President's intent is the further destroy our economy, or if it just the result of failed policies put forth by an inept and inexperience administration, the result is the same. We must do all we can to make sure the current President and the vast majority of the current Congress is purged in the upcoming elections mainly in May and in November of 2012

New year, new Congress, new resolution: Repeal Obamacare!
The 111th Congress just finished repealing 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT).'
Now on January 3rd, 2011 the 112th Congress must begin to immediately and to aggressively work to undue the damage done by the current radical Democrat-led Lame Duck Congress such as: Obamacare, the Stimulus, the Bailouts, Financial 'Reform,' and permitting homosexuals to be open with their behavior in the military.
If the country can survive Barry Soetoro alias Barack Obama's destructive plans until 2012 and we elect principled conservatives for President and Congress in November 2012, then we have a chance at long-term survival and an opportunity to restore America ...

61 Days ‘til Statism on Trial

Remember in November
Two months until the Day of Reckoning. Two months until the Ultimate Tea Party! 61 days until the Mid-Term Report Card is given for the controversial and increasingly unpopular President and his Democrat cronies in Congress.
Was the election of the controversial and increasingly President a mirage or a mandate? The answer will come on Tuesday November 2, 2010, when hopefully many conservatives will rescue this nation from the socialist policies of the current administration and Congress.
Remember the extreme Statist, socialist, liberal policies and legislation pushed through Congress.
Remember the all the passed Congressional PORK in November ...
Remember the Stimulus Bill with nearly $1 Trillion in wasted taxpayer dollars causing future generations a tremendous needless debt burden
Remember the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) was passed by the Democratic controlled House of Representatives.
Remember in November
Fire Congress ...

New $26 Mil Stimulus Bailout Bill for Teachers called ‘Cash for Flunkers’

Newsmax.com also quoted House Minority Leader Boehner as saying about the newest bailout legislation, “A nameless bill for a hopeless cause is a fitting metaphor for a Democratic Congress that refuses to listen to the American people and abandon its job-killing agenda.”
He offered a few priceless specific suggestions. Here are some. I underscored my favorites.
· Save Our “Stimulus” (SOS) Act
· “Recovery Summer” Bailout Act (Cash for Flunkers)
· Delivering Unions a Major Boost (DUMB) Act
· Helping Election Expenditures, Hurting American Workers (HEEHAW) Act
· Democracy Is Strengthened by Clearly Leveraging and Optimizing Special-Interests' Effectiveness (DISCLOSE) Act
· Rescuing Incumbent Democrats Is Costly (RIDIC) Act
· Summertime Cash for Union Bosses Instead of Spending Cuts for Taxpayers Act
· Frivolous Act of Ineffective Largesse (FAIL) Act
· Naming These Things Hasn't Gotten Us Anywhere, So Why Bother Act
Another bill title might be, "Step-Daughter of Stimulus Act," in acknowledgement to harried and hurried Speaker Pelosi's draconian measure.
November cannot come soon enough. We have to stop the bleeding by these persons with their destructive socialist agenda, which is wrecking and reeking havoc on the nation and its economy.

Anti-Economic Stimulus Sermon
ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS IS WOW !!!!!
RECENT VIRGINIA CHURCH SERVICE - STIMULUS SERMON
Genesis 47:13-27
I would love to give the Pastor of this predominantly black church in Virginia a hug and a high five. This guy is obviously a leader.
Perhaps we should each decide who our real leader is.....It is amazing to see that very little has changed in 4,000 years.
---------------------------------------------------
Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get intoGod's Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th chapter of Genesis, we'll begin our reading at verse 13, and gothrough verse 27.
Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us? .....(reading)...
Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray. So we see that economic hard times fell upon
So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey -to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year.
But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh." So theysurrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain.
What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters?
That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason government wants to be our provider is to also become our master?
Yes.
But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus
We see the same thing happening today - the government today wants to "share the wealth" once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders.
What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of people like to call Mr.Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah? A savior? Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"?
Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine; and Mr. OBAMA IS NO MESSIAH! No, brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh. Bow with me in prayer, if you will...
Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone. We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day.."
And Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government.
In God We Trust...

Bachmann: Ours is a 'Gangster Government!'
Sunday, February 28, 2010
Domestically, Soetoro/Obama is even worse than Carter, says Mark Levin
"This is a very vicious recession and we would have been out of by now if he wasn't smothering the private sector, threatening to tax them, nationalizing major industries, government doesn't spread wealth, it destroys wealth and it spreads misery. Now we've had trillions of dollars spent in the last 13-14 months...trillions...following this failed ideology. We still have
· almost 10 percent unemployment,
· still foreclosures,
· soon the fed is going to back off pumping money into the housing market,
· interest rates are going to go up . . .
"This philosophy that Obama embraces has failed whenever it's tried, wherever it's tried. And you notice they always try to say the same thing - ‘we haven't gone far enough,' ‘we need more money,' ‘we need more government,' and then they pick enemies - this industry, that industry - it's because they're failures. And this is how they continue to push their propaganda. We weren't sliding into a great Depression, so now he's rewriting history."

A Raquiem for the Stimulus Bill
The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch runs a regular feature in its newspaper identifying an important issue to the local community and asking the vote of the readers on that issue along with any comments they may have. Occasionally I will respond and comment on the issue raised, as I did in regard to today's (Wednesday's) topic.
The Hot Issue, Wednesday, February 17, 2010:
Do you think the stimulus package has helped Ohio?
My Response:
No, in the long run Ohio is not helped by the pork-laden stimulus bill. We should not be singing its praises. We should be crying a dirge!
Actually, the stimulus package was one big slush fund used by the Democratic controlled Congress and President. It has only helped states like Ohio in propping up their budgets especially in retaining union members such teachers, police, fire, city workers etc In other words, those voters to whom the Democratic Party is beholden and dependent on as a base.
All Ohio or any state has done is buying a little time, avoiding the inevitable day of reckoning. Layoffs and other belt tightening must be done. Wasteful and excessive spending must stop!

Ohio Taxed to the Max Rally, Saturday 1/30/10, Columbus, Ohio - Part 3
Government asked to Stop Treating Ohio Taxpayers Like an ATM!
Rob Portman was spoke at the ATM Rally in Columbus yesterday (Saturday). The following is a partial transcript continuation of a portion of the speech he presented at the rally. See the previous postings here and here. Portman is one of the Republican candidates running to fill Senator George Voinovich's seat in the U.S. Senate. What he said Saturday was very conservative fiscally. However, I am not sure where he stands on the social issues.
Portman discusses several tax-related issues and current government policies, which adversely affect the economy in Ohio and in America today.
"Cap and Trade . . . our manufacturers getting hit because of the new regulations on emissions. This is not the way to get our economy on track!
"It is also about Card Check . . . it takes away the ability to have a secret ballot if you are a union member . . . I talked to one union steward in Columbus on a factory tour and he didn't want to lose the secret ballot, nor do most union members.
"These are the things that if you are a small business person, or if you are a risk-taker, or just thinking about starting something . . . you are discouraged right now.
"That is why when I heard the President talk the other night, I was delighted when the President was thinking about getting back to jobs and the economy . . . but his actual policies have just the opposite affect. They're discouraging job growth. In fact, I would argue that the stimulus package, which was passed a year ago, has not helped create jobs but has made it more difficult to create jobs. Why? Because we are growing PUBLIC sector jobs and we are losing PRIVATE sector jobs.
"It is going to result in
· increasing interest rates,
· put more pressure on inflation,
· it lowers the value of the dollar,
· it also puts us in a position that we are passing along to our kinds & grandkids an immoral deficit and debt that they will have to deal with.
"This is just not the American way! . . ."

Is this America's Exit Strategy?

SeniorCare under Obama-Pelosi-Reid Healthcare
Social Security
For the first time in history, the Democratic Congress will not allow an increase in the social security COLA (cost of living adjustment). In fact, The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation predicts there may not be any COLA for the next three years. However, the per person monthly Medicare insurance premium will be increased from the 2009 premium of $96.40 to $104.20 in 2010 and to $120.20 for the year 2011.
TAKE ACTION
All American seniors need to be reminded not to vote for the incumbent senators and congressmen in the 2010 and the 2012 elections. This means that any of the 435 Representatives and the 36 Senators who voted for any of the major economy-killing bills such as the Stimulus, TARP, Cap and Trade or Government-Run Healthcare should be fired by voters next year.
