John Kasich: God wants Ohio to expand Obamacare

In response to the above statement, Ted Stevenot of the Ohio Liberty Coalition really point an exclamation on this point when he said:

I am fully prepared to meet St. Peter and tell him I sought to help the poor (and all other Ohioans) by advocating for policies that would increase prosperity and help create more jobs in our state.  What’s more, as a liberty-minded American believing in fiscal responsibility, free market capitalism, and Constitutionally limited government, I wouldn’t need to steal one penny from future generations to do so. My guess is St. Peter, tired of so often being robbed to pay Paul, will be very glad to hear it.

Christians, Halloween, and the IRS

Liberty vs. Socialism

Even the Chairman of the GOP is a die hard socialist.  And all the Republican Presidential candidates except Ron Paul fall right in line under the socialist banner.  Our country survived and thrived for many generations before there ever was a Department of Health and Human Services.  You don't need to replace it with anything except the gospel of Jesus Christ and the sound principles given to us by the Founding Fathers of our country. 

Bipartisan Redistribution of Wealth, Ron Paul’s Insights

I was at the fitness center a couple of days ago and an story about Representative Ron Paul touted on the cover of the May issue on Esquire Magazine caught my eye. I read the extensive article over my two most recent visits, Wednesday and Friday. Here is the second of three quotes from Congressman Paul from that article which impressed me.

“… The right amount of redistribution of wealth is zero.  Everybody talks about bipartisanship, but there’s way too much bipartisanship. Democrats and Republicans both love to spend money.”

How true this is. Look at the Middle East dictators in so much trouble today. Gadafi, Mubarik, Hussein, all became rich skimming the foreign aid we gave their countries. It is the poor and middle class Americans who bear the brunt of the taxes. Taxes hurt affect us more than they do the rich. We don’t have General Electrics accountants, lawyers, and political connections to avoid having to pay taxes.

How I Know Barack Hussein Obama is not a Christian, Part 8

This is the eighth in a series of articles offering evidence that our President is not a Christian, despite what he or anyone else might claim.

The President, Barack Hussein Obama, said, “Only government can get us out of this mess.” The last time I looked it was people who ran the government. The agencies of government are made up of people with Obama as President. Therefore, as the head of the government he is in effect saying that he is the only one who can get the nation out of the problems we are in.

With the government able to tax its citizens and to spend trillions of dollars at massive levels even above the revenue going into the treasury. Obama claims this will cause increased economic activity, productivity, and will enable many people to return to the workforce.

Even people who know little or nothing about Christianity and God’s word consider that this is nonsense. Those who are Christians and know something about Christianity and God’s word know that this is not what the scripture teaches.

Proverbs 28:26

President Obama is trusting in himself and not in the God of Jacob. Obama wants the citizens of this country to trust in him and not in the God of Jacob. As a matter, of fact if he were a Christian, he would not be trusting in himself but in the Lord Jesus Christ and in God’s word for advice.

President Obama shows absolutely no knowledge or understanding of God or His word (The Holy Bible) and is, therefore, acting contrary to God’s word.

If the voters of this country want to be blessed by God then they must put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and not in men. If they want our country to be blessed by God they need to elect leaders who have put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you want God’s favor by acting according to God’s word, and are not born again, you must begin by repenting of your sins and inviting Jesus into your heart. This brings salvation from the consequences of your sins (Luke 24:46-48). When Jesus comes into your heart, you are saved, forgiven, made a new creature by the Holy Spirit, given eternal life and that makes you a Christian (Revelation 3:20; II Corinthians 5:17; I John 5:10-12; Romans 8:9).

A sample prayer is, “Lord Jesus Christ come into my heart and forgive me of my sins.” The alternative to trusting God through Jesus Christ is to perish, which is to be tormented endlessly in eternity by fire.

How I Know Barack Hussein Obama is not a Christian, Part 7

This is the seventh in a series of articles offering evidence that our President is not a Christian, despite what he or anyone else might claim.

The President, Barack Hussein Obama, in his first year in office has increased the national debt by 3.2 trillion dollars. He had said, “Now is not the time for profit”. Before taking office candidate Barack Obama told Joe the plumber that he wanted to redistribute the wealth. He proposed to take wealth from those who have it and give it to those who do not have it. Not only in the United States but also worldwide. People who know nothing about Christianity and God’s word may consider that this redistribution of wealth is proper. But those who are Christians and know something about Christianity and God’s word know that this is not what scripture teaches. Consider what Jesus says in the parable on the giving of the talents.

Matthew 25:14-15 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

Matthew 25:16-17 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

Matthew 25:19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

Matthew 25:20-21 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Matthew 25:22-23 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. Matthew 25:24-30 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strowed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strowed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. Notice that God redistributes His wealth from those who don’t use it to gain more wealth to those who do use it to gain more wealth. This also works with ability. As a person uses their ability they increase their expertise in their given talent. If a person ignores their given ability they will decrease in their ability to use the talent they have. This is observed in exercising one’s muscles. In use of them strength is increased while inactivity decreases strength.

Copenhagen World Wealth Redistribution Summit

The Copenhagen World Wealth Redistribution Summit, also called the Copenhagen Global Climate Change Summit, got underway today. In salute to one of the real global warming hucksters and hoaxsters, Al Gore, I came across a video that has been around a while. It highlights one of Gore's false facts. In the YouTube video embedded below, with a hat tip to NetRightNation.com blog where I discovered the video, Al Gore 'debates' expert climatologists (at last) on whether carbon dioxide causes global warming. The real experts reduce Gore's assertions to nothing more than a pack of lies. The same blog has an accompanying article called, "Hot Earthers and the Era of the Post-Credible."

Spreading the Wealth

According to a Wikipedia entry this was a slogan popularized by Karl Marx, . . . “The phrase summarizes the principles that, under a communist system, every person should contribute to society to the best of their ability and consume from society in proportion to their needs, regardless of how much they have contributed. In the Marxist view, such an arrangement will be made possible by the abundance of goods and services that a developed communist society will produce; the idea is that there will be enough to satisfy everyone's needs.”

This anti-capitalistic philosophy failed miserably in the former Soviet Union and is failing in many of the so-called developed countries of Europe. Yet, to a great extent, Barack Hussein Obama AND to a lesser extent, John McCain, BOTH want to further force it upon America at the expense of free enterprise and our capitalistic system.
