American Culture Killer, Part 1: Abortion
"Abortion is advocated only by persons who have themselves been born." --- Ronald Reagan
"Abortion is inherently different from other medical procedures because no other procedure involves the purposeful termination of a potential life." --- Potter Stewart
"The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between." --- Mother Teresa

ObamaCare is Pro-Death!
Judie Brown, President of the American Life League (ALL) on last Friday’s Crosstalk America radio show talked about President Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and many others throughout the Administration as “people committed to the culture of death.” That is a very apt description.
Regardless of whether the healthcare “reform” bill contains abortion funding or not, Judie Brown listed many reasons why her organization, ALL, opposes the bill. Here they are:
(1) It will mandate ('comprehensive") sex-education in the schools. (It will eliminate any funding for the more effective abstinence based sex-education.)
(2) It will ration healthcare for the elderly. (Can you say Death Panels?)
(3) It will discriminate against the elderly, the terminally ill, and the severely disabled.
(4) It provides millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood.
(5) It will make it impossible for parents to know what happens with their children in the classroom.
(6) It will fund human Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
(7) It will fund baby-murder (abortion).
Kill the Health Care “Reform” Bill! Yes, kill it before it institutionalizes the killing of more babies, the elderly and those on the socialist-eugenicists hit list!

The 2008 Election - A Matter of Life & Death

Indeed, this election is a matter of life and death. More babies will die under an Obama presidency. Life will be further cheapened for the collective good.
There are important ballot issues in South Dakota and Colorado. The one in Colorado defines life as beginning at conception. The South Dakota ballot issue bans abortion.

The Third McCain-Obama Debate
I signed on to FRC Action's Petition to Bob Schieffer, host of CBS Face the Nation and moderator of the Third and Final Presidential Debate, Wednesday, October 15, 2008. The basic petition reads as follows. It will be interesting to see if ANY of these questions will be addressed tomorrow.
Dear Mr. Schieffer:
The American people face many crucial issues in this year's elections, including the state of the economy, immigration, health care, the environment, and foreign policy. The first two presidential debates this year, however, have failed to include the most pressing social issues on the minds of values voters. We the undersigned urge you to ask questions along the lines of those listed below, which discuss the future of marriage and the sanctity of human life. These are questions that matter to all Americans, and you have the last remaining opportunity for the American people to compare the candidates' answers as they appear together for the final presidential debate of 2008.
· Do you believe that the U.S. Constitution contains a right for homosexuals to marry?
· Would you change the traditional definition of marriage contained in the federal Defense of Marriage Act?
· Do you support the Defense of Marriage Act's provision allowing states not to recognize same-sex marriages from other states?
· Have you ever opposed any ballot initiative seeking to define marriage as a relationship between one man and one woman?
· Do you agree or disagree with the Supreme Court's decision allowing the government to ban abortions that kill a partially born baby?
· Have you ever supported or opposed any law designed to protect the lives of babies that have survived an attempted abortion?
Moderating a debate is a great responsibility that rests on your shoulders. We ask that you exercise that responsibility with great care to ensure that the American people have the chance to know where the candidates stand on every pressing issue.
Thank you for taking our views into consideration.

Wisconsin Voters Guide to Life and Death Matters
Trewhella recounts that John McCain once said about Christian pro-life beliefs and Christian faith, "Neither party should be defined by pandering to the outer reaches of American politics and the agents of intolerance whether they be Louis Farrakhan or Al Sharpton on the left, or Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell on the right."
Does McCain view people who want to see the slaughter of countless innocent babies as the "outer reaches of American politics and the agents of intolerance"? Apparently he does. It seems to me that McCain is on the outer limits and he himself is an agent of intolerance.
Trewhella is an equally opportunity basher, with whom I wholeheartedly concur. He calls John McCain and Hillary Rodham-Clinton “ego-maniacal psychopaths.” He gives them too much credit.
He urges primary voters to vote for any of the two 100% pro-life candidates, Mike Huckabee or Ron Paul. He admonishes Wisconsin voters, “if we don't vote for good men when they are running for public office, we're teaching good men NOT to run for public office.”
ON MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH
The following two key issues are based on the new Ohio Christian Alliances’ Voter Guide.
Issue: Overturning Roe vs. Wade:
Mike Huckabee (R)------------SUPPORTS
John McCain (R)---------------SUPPORTS
Ron Paul (R)-------------------SUPPORTS
Barack Obama (D)-------------OPPOSES

Scents to Heaven: Danae Blessing and Aborted Babies
THE SMELL OF RAIN
“A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the Doctor walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. Still groggy from surgery, her husband David held her hand as they braced themselves for the latest news. That afternoon of March 10,1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24 weeks pregnant, to Danae Lu Blessing.

“Through the dark hours of morning as Danae held onto life by the thinnest thread, Diana slipped in and out of sleep, growing more and more determined that their tiny daughter would live, and live to be a healthy, happy young girl. But David, fully awake and listening to additional dire details of their daughter's chances of ever leaving the hospital alive, much less healthy, knew he must confront his wife with the inevitable. David walked in and said that we needed to talk about making funeral arrangements. Diana remembers, 'I felt so bad for him because he was doing everything, trying to include me in what was going on, but I just wouldn't listen, I couldn't listen. I said, "No that is not going to happen, no way! I don't care what the doctors say; Danae is not going to die! One day she will be just fine, and she will be coming home with us!"
FACT OR FICTION?
TruthOrFiction.com has been in contact with the Blessings who confirm that the story is true and that now 9 year-old Danae is doing wonderfully. Here are excerpts from Diana Blessing's message to TruthOrFiction.com on 8/21/00:
UPDATE
Here is an even more recent update on Danae.
"Fifteen-year-old Danae Blessing of Irving came back from the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Camp John Marc with new experiences, new friends and a new talent.
"“My favorite thing to do was photography,” said Danae, who spent much of the week in the darkroom developing pictures of the sky, trees and more. “We learned how to turn the picture white by putting objects on top of it — I put my name over one, it was really cool.”
“Danae looks forward to camp all year, the kids all have something different but common that binds them all together,” said her mother Diana. “When she comes back, it’s like part of her heart always stays, it’s kind of wrenching for me.” Camp John Marc in Meridian has hosted the MDA summer camp for more than 10 years — this was Danae’s third year...”
You can read the rest of the article here.
The pro-abortionists do not consider Danae a viable life while in her mother’s womb. Danae, like many others prove that the developing fetus is indeed a living human being. It is interesting following the story through these brief excerpts. Danae really is a blessing to her family, others and to God. He has to be justifiably angry when He sees the Planned Parenthood Federation of America clinics expunging lives regularly across this nation.
Remember a vote for Giuliani, Romney, McCain, Rodham-Clinton, Obama or Edwards is a vote to deny the right of many 24 week old pre-born babies to life. Oh yes, Romney now claims that he is pro-life, but I do not believe his words when his deeds demonstrated the opposite. McCain is not 100% Pro-Life, he would deny the life of a baby conceived in rape or incest. Punish the misbehavior of the “parents” and not the victim, the pre-born baby, Senator McCain.
This is an important issue to many who believe in the sanctity of life. Abortion is not a political issue. It is more, it is a moral issue. It is an issue of justice.
I am afraid that the overwhelming scents that are now arising to God in Heaven are the burning bloodied and bludgeoned bodies of aborted babies.

Abortion "Rights"
(Manchester, N.H.) AP writer Nedra Pickler reports in a news item which I saw on OneNewsNow.com today that Senator Hillary Rodham-Clinton brags in a campaign letter sent to New Hampshire voters that she is more pro-abortion, more for a woman’s right to murder her baby, than is Senator Barack Hussein Obama. She accused Obama of not being as adamant a defender of abortion as she is. She claimed that while he was a State Senator in Illinois he voted “present” instead of a registering a pro-abortion vote.In reality Obama has an every bit as vile a record on abortion as Rodham-Clinton does. Pickler points out that, “During his eight years in the legislature, Obama cast a number of votes on abortion and received a 100 percent rating from the Illinois Planned Parenthood Council for his support of abortion rights, family planning services and health insurance coverage for female contraceptives. He voted against requiring medical care for aborted babies who survive, a vote that especially riled abortion opponents.” Sound pretty pro-death to me, Senator Clinton.
Is this really something about which one should boast?
Pickler goes on to quote representatives of both the Rodham-Clinton and the Obama campaigns. “Clinton spokesman Phil Singer said the campaign decided to send the piece because "as Senator Obama has said, `voting records matter.' This is a critical issue for New Hampshire voters and they deserve a straightforward presentation of the facts about both candidates."
“Obama spokesman Bill Burton responded, "The Clinton campaign's false negative attacks were rejected by Iowa voters, and we expect that they'll suffer the same fate here in New Hampshire."
Their stands on the abortion issue alone disqualifies all the Democrat candidates as well as Mayor Giuliani from any consideration for my vote as president.

To All Truth Deniers
To All Deniers of the Truth
Keep telling yourself that a woman has a right to off her offspring.
Keep telling yourselves that homosexuality is normal, natural, healthy, moral and genetic not a choice of behavior.
Keep telling yourselves that you descended from apes.
Keep telling yourselves that man is the prime cause for global warming and Algore knows of what he speaks.
Keep telling yourselves that Islam is a religion of peace.
Yes, keep telling yourselves that evil is good and good is evil . . .
Keep telling yourselves that there is no right or wrong, it is all relative, that there are no moral absolutes.
Keep telling yourselves that there is no God.
Keep believing and perpetuating the LIE.

A Time to Stand-Up
The lyrics of the song below reflects a strong message. What a powerful complement to the words I punched on my keyboard yesterday in regard to Ohio's Human Cloning Ban Bill, which was introduced in the House of Representatives just last week.
Listen and contemplate the lyrics of this thought and heart-provoking song. [Emphasis added.]
.STAND UP
STAND-UP, STAND UP
For all the world to see
STAND-UP. STAND UP.
Won't you stand with Jesus?
I awoke with a start, my heart was pounding:
A chill up my spine from horrors astounding.
In my dream they were selling the bones of the dead.
And people were buying.
I fell back in bed.
But I couldn't sleep, something too wrong:
Things became clear that had been hazy for so long.
TELL ME! TELL ME I'M DREAMING!
That the voices I hear aren't babies screaming.
How can it be
For a cell or a heart
They're killing the children
And selling the parts?
They bid for the bodies of babies aborted
To rip them apart,
To play God in the lab.
And they wrap this revulsion in the pretense of science:
"The search for a cure."
Is the world going mad?
WAKE UP! WAKE UP! I SHOUT WITH HIS POWER!
To the silent, self-blinded who draw back and cower.
Afraid to speak up, afraid to be counted,
Scared by attacks that Satan has mounted.
One nation under God,
We fall down to Satan.
Children are dying and still we keep waiting.
Why are you mute?
STANK UP! SPEAK OUT.
When you run from the evil, you feed it instead.
Cry out, cry for the children, mothers.
Didn't He say, "Care for each other?"
What gives us the right, men, to act like we're helpless?
Didn't He say He'd be there to help us?
Are we cowards?
Or warriors?
We can win if we choose.
But if we choose not to fight,
Then we've chosen to lose.
And they bid for the bodies of babies aborted
To rip them apart
To play God in the lab
And they wrap this revulsion in the pretense of science:
"The search for a cure."
Is the world going mad?
STAND-UP, STAND UP.
For all the world to see
STAND-UP. STAND UP.
Won't you stand with Jesus?
Shine His light.
Shine the Light of Jesus.
.
You can hear the song being performed by clicking on the audio link at the bottom of the NoHumanCloning.org website home page. Embryonic stem cell research, all human cloning and all abortion are what this song rails and wails against. Make A Good Choice by living and working to right these terrible injustices.

Zell Miller on Life
In my interactions this weekend posting and commenting on internet political forums I was provided an article entitled, “Zell Miller: Abortion has shrunk our military, hurt social security, caused illegal immigration”. I really have come to admire and respect the former Senator form Georgia. I read his book, A Deficit of Decency and I highly recommend it. It gives a glimpse of the sad state of affairs in which we find America today.Senator Zell is a principled and passionate conservative. It is a shame he no longer holds office because America needs more true conservative leaders. Not those politicos, who unfortunately like George W. Bush, John McCain, or another former Senator, Mike DeWine (conservative Republican In Name Only-Ohio) , mouth the right words to get elected, then become “moderate” standing for nothing except the own apparent self-aggrandizement.
Senator Miller spoke recently in Macon, Georgia and I was able to transcribe some of the highlights of his speech, which the above article had included as a link to a brief video clip.
“. . . Too many, who believe as we do (about abortion), are hesitant to speak out, because they think they may OFFEND someone, or they may be called part of the RELIGIOUS RIGHT. I don’t mind at all. I GLORY in it (being called part of the religious right). I am RELIGIOUS, and we are RIGHT.
“Over 45 million have been killed (ABORTED) since 1973. . . Still we watch as 3,700 babies are killed every single day in America. It is unbelievable that a nation under God would allow this. . . The (Judeo-Christian) Bible is as clear on embryonic stem cell harvesting as it is on abortion. It is not the proper fate for a human being made in the image of God. Killing is wrong when it is called abortion and it is just as wrong when it is called (embryonic stem cell) research.
“Sometimes in the life of a nation a time comes when men and women of conscious and courage have to stand up and be counted and say “enough”, “no more”, “this cannot continue”.”
Please read the article and watch the short video and make up your own mind. See if you do not conclude, as I did, that Senator Millier is absolutely correct, abortion has to stop and stop now.

Abortion: Celebration or Condemnation? Part 1
Can you believe it? Tomorrow has been declared, “National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers." What next, “National Mass Murderers Day” or maybe “National Pedophilia & Child Abusers Day”? This observance is obscene. Can you imagine Germany celebrating “National Holocaust Day”? This denotes evil thinking. According to one weblog March 10th, 2007 commemorates the 14th year anniversary of the death of (Abortionist-Exterminator) Dr. David Gunn at the hands of an anti-choice, "pro-life" extremist. Since 1996, pro choice advocates have begun to claim this day National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers and have turned this day of mourning into a day of remembrance of our losses, mobilizations for activism and celebration for our gains.
Much like their comrades, the radical liberal homosexual crowd, the fanatical supporters of baby-killing desperately try to mobilize support and sympathy for their pitiful, evil cause and to apparently justify and legitimatize its immoral, unnatural debased behavior, the vile and pretentious abortion industry has established March 10th as the day to honor abortionist-exterminators and their accomplices, the abortion workers.

Instead of preserving and supporting life, abortion actually destroys, snuffs out life by the millions and visits emotional havoc on the would-be mothers. All of this occurring in the land of the free and has been doing so since 1973. Abortion is the end of life for those human beings who were never given a chance or a choice of life because of some trumped up, some counterfeit“right”. It is not that a woman has a “right to choose to bear or not to bear the baby” it is the horrible humanist and feminist-friendly judiciary has give women the “right to kill who she carries in her womb”. Actually the Judeo-Christian Bible says that it is God's will that a pregnacy be carried through to birth.
So while the killers savor their judicial victories let us pray and work for the day when every baby will have a chance, a choice to be free.
Please visit RealChoice, "The reality of "choice" in America," an excellent weblog which chronicles many of the past and current victims of abortion, who are rarely, if ever, covered by the liberaly biased main stream media.
To be continued . . .
Tomorrow we will examine some of the gruesome abortionist “stars" who snuff out the candles of thousands of lights of babies before they can see even the flicker of a single day.
