43 Republican lawmakers support Obama's radical agenda

Late Wednesday night, Republicans allowed passage of an amendment from Rep. Sean Maloney (D-NY) to an appropriations bill. The amendment would legitimize President Barack Obama's radical agenda to punish those who don't follow his pro-LGBT agenda.

This amendment requires the federal government to follow Obama's executive order 13672. This executive order instructs the federal government to deny contracts to companies that don't follow the Obama mandated sexual identity agenda. This could include companies that don't allow men into female restrooms and showers in their private corporate offices.

It is a shame that a Republican led Congress is forcing Obama's radical agenda down the American people's throat. The Obama administration wants you to believe that a man who "thinks" he is female should have access to the same facilities as real women. It is dangerous to force federal contractors to allow individuals free access to the private facilities of the opposite sex. Republicans in Congress along with President Obama are willing to put the safety of women and children at risk all for their radical agenda.

It's not too late to stop this dangerous Maloney baloney. The House has yet to approve final passage of this bill. Please contact your representative in an effort to stop this radical agenda!

Email your representative and urge him to vote "NO" on any appropriations bill that includes a Maloney amendment or any amendment which goers along with Obama's pro-gay and transgender bathroom agenda.

One of President Barry Soetoro's (a/k/a Barack Obama) first moves places social issues at the top of his “To Do” List. Soetoro/Obama wastes no time in laying out his radical pro-death (abortion) and pro-homosexual agenda.

The American Family Association (AFA) has provided an excellent introduction to some of these detestable plans they wish to inflict on America. Click Obama acts quickly, lays out his abortion and (homosexual) agenda to see where he intending to take us and how he plans to reshape American society. AFA reports in an email I received today that they interpret Soetoro/Obama’s “View is that unborn babies aren't worth protecting and that homosexuals deserve special rights.”

OneNewsNow.com reported earlier today, "Just hours after becoming president, the Whitehouse.gov website has laid out Barack Obama's agenda. Under a section of that agenda titled Civil Rights is a very detailed outline of what Obama plans to do for the homosexual community."

Another critical piece of information, which OneNewsNow.com reported and which the Opposition Media (ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, PBS, etc.) ignored or downplayed was, "Elsewhere on the Whitehouse.gov Agenda section (The Agenda - Women) is a statement noting Obama's longstanding support for abortion rights. On that issue, the "consistent champion of reproductive choice" -- as Obama is described on the website -- promises to stand against any effort to overturn Roe v. Wade, increase funding for "family planning and comprehensive sex education," and remove any insurance restrictions against contraception."

If you are like me and oppose taking the life of the unborn and oppose giving special rights and privileges to those who practice perverted sex, then we need to take act right now, even on the evening of Soetoro/Obama’s first full day as President!

I just received this American Family Association (AFA) Action Alert. AFA is one of the groups that is fighting on the front line in the culture war being waged in and against America. Many large national and international companies are beginning to succumb to pressure group shakedowns. The homosexual advocates and lobbyists have learned from master shakedown artists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to get the big corporations to join their cause. This happened with Ford Motors and McDonald's Restaurants recently. Groups like AFA and individual conservatives and Christians responded and voiced their concerns similar to the request made below and turned back the advancement of homosexuality at least at Ford and McDonalds.

Campbell Soup Company embraces homosexual agenda

Send an email to Campbell Soup Company President Douglas Conant. Tell him you want his company to stop supporting the (homosexual/lesbian) agenda.

In the December, 2008 and January, 2009 issues, Campbell Soup Company bought two, two-page advertisements in the latest issues of the nation's largest homosexual magazine, "The Advocate." The ads promote their Swanson line of broth.

In one of the December ads, the Campbell Soup Company highlighted the lives of two lesbians with their son. The others feature New York City chefs. See the ads here.

Campbell Soup Company has openly begun helping homosexual activists push their agenda. Not only did the ads cost Campbell's a chunk of money, but they also sent a message that homosexual parents constitute a family and are worthy of support. They also gave their approval to the entire homosexual agenda.

Palin or Obama, Which is More Qualified to Serve?

PBS ASKS, "IS PALIN QUALIFIED TO BE VP?"

PBS by asking this question, ignoring the woeful experience and very limited qualifications of Barack Obama demonstrate their liberal bias toward "their" candidate. PBS, the most liberal network in America (funded, incidentally, by our tax dollars) is running a poll concerning Sarah Palin PBS asked its readers in their online survey:

Do you think Sarah Palin is qualified to serve as Vice President of the United States?

The last time I looked, the PBS poll Yes-No vote tallied 49%-49% respectively. So half the readers of the PBS website think that Palin is unqualified. Wow, that must mean that Barack Obama is off the chart, meaning he is way unqualified.

AFA ASKS, "IS OBAMA QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT?"

Amazingly PBS targets Governor Sarah Palin, but ignores the Democratic Candidate for President, who has little to no actual executive experience. He writes books, campaigns and makes glorious speeches, that seems to be the extent of his qualifications.

To counter balance PBS lapse of unbiased reporting, or deliberate avoidance (or cover-up) of the qualification of Senator Barack Hussein Obama, the American Family Association (AFA) has posted its own poll question addressing Obama’s qualification.

Not surprisingly the question resulted, so far, in a 20 to 1 margin NO to YES, meaning that Senator Obama in the eyes of AFA readers Obama is NOT qualified to serve as President.

What bothers me more than the results is the question. PBS deliberate attempt to demean or diminish Governor Palin, while at the same time ignoring the absolute lack of qualifications of Senator Obama.

Fishing is good here at Wildman and I rarely have time for politics, but many of our friends are asking us "Who is Sarah Palin?" Of course, as Alaskans, Kathy and I are extremely proud of her. We just want to let You know that Sarah "Barracuda" Palin is a straight shooting, hard charging, get it done gal. EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE

She has little legislative experience because she has always held the EXECUTIVE position; in private life, as mayor of Anchorage’s largest bedroom community and more recently as Governor of our State. She is a smart, attractive home grown Alaska girl with excellent moral and family values. She can see what needs to be done and does not hesitate to get it done.

One of our State's major problems is that it's Capital is in Juneau , 500 miles from the nearest road and 800 air miles from the population base which is Anchorage , Wasilla and Fairbanks . Our legislature and most of the State government is in Juneau and they ALL behave like a bunch of freshmen in a college town. It has been this way since Statehood in 1959. When Sarah moved to Juneau , so did accountability and responsibility.

When the oil revenue started flowing and a barrel of North Slope Crude hit $23.00, these people began spending money like drunken sailors. You can only imagine what was happenings when oil hit $100.00 a barrel; about the Time Sarah took command. My wife Kathy has first-hand experience with this fiasco, as her father and also her ex-husband were Alaska Legislators who served in Juneau as Senators, Senate President, or members of the State House for a combined period spanning nearly three decades.

About the time Sarah took the HELM as Governor of Alaska, about half of the State legislature was in the pocket of big oil companies or contractors doing big projects for Native Corporations around Alaska , all funded by State oil revenue. Alaska government was nothing but a good old boys Club riding the perpetual wave of prosperity. This filtered down from the legislature, through the Department of Natural Resources, Department of Labor and even spilled into the Public Safety who are supposed to "preserve and protect".

BUDGET CONSCIOUS

When Sarah walked into the Governor's Mansion, she promptly dismissed the State Trooper detachment assigned to the Governor and had her and her husband's gun case brought in from Wasilla. Then, she got rid of the former Governor's STATE Jet and told legislators that there were no more free rides, they would have to fly Alaska Airlines, just like her and her family if they wanted to travel. Next came the nut cutting (the Barracuda part) the heads that rolled were too numerous to name, but when Sarah finished cleaning house, a number of our legislators ended up in jail on corruption charges, or tendered their resignations along with numerous department heads and those who have been riding the gravy train for way too long, AND THEN SHE HAD LUNCH. By the end of the day, Sarah Palin had saved the people of Alaska millions and has not yet slowed down.

REAL CHANGE

She has truly brought CHANGE to Juneau . I personally know several persons in the private sector in Alaska , that hold her in high esteem. She surrounds herself with smart people, many from my hometown of Anchorage , she listens to them but makes her own decisions. Sarah Palin is a no B.S. politician. It is refreshing that there is such a thing anymore.

You want to talk about CHANGE? You should see a before and after picture of the State government in Alaska . That's CHANGE! Sarah will bring a number of things to the election. I am sure she will appeal to many voters who may otherwise could have gone the other direction on election day. The conservative block will not be for Barack. We have their vote. We need what Sarah will bring, first to the election and second, what she will bring to Washington D.C. McCain has been advised well, Let's just hope the American people can get the straight scoop on her in the weeks ahead. This is just the opinion of one Alaska Bush Pilot and Guide, who pays attention to national politics, watches the news and is deathly afraid of the direction our nation is headed. I guarantee that if Sarah gets a chance to dig her spurs into the flanks of the liberal Washington types, they will know that she is in the saddle.

PBS Deserves to be De-funded Now

Like its extreme liberal ally, the incidious Planned (really, Preventing) Parenthood Federation of America, Public Broadcasting receives a huge amount of money from America’s taxpayers. Both receive over $300 million dollars of subsidies EACH to carry on, at best, questionable activities.

Planned Parenthood, of course, makes its living butchering babies and wounding women. PPFA is a billion dollar business calling itself misleadingly, a health enterprise. Rightfully it should be called a cold blooded killing machine or hit squad. Shrewdly, PPFA disguises its so-called “family planning” wing of its business to subsidize its killing wing. Congress should stop all funding of this heinous outfit.

Likewise, the Public Broadcasting Service is funded significantly by the taxpayer and to a far lesser degree by the public through fund-raising. They, too, lean very heavily to the left politically. They have outlived their usefulness, to be practical. During the 50s and 60s when there were only 3 broadcasters, CBS, NBC, ABC, they may have served a need, offering educational and cultural fare that the major networks did not provide. Today there is a plethora of channels offering a great variety of educational and cultural offeringS. I think of the History Channel and the Discovery Channel, among others. There is no need to fund PBS any longer. It should be supported by their viewers exclusively. They should be driven by the market.

What really brought taxpayer support for PBS was one of their upcoming series, The Bible's Buried Secrets, which airs beginning November 18th. Coincidentally, just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. In essence, the series trashes the Bible and those that believe in its inerrancy.

Can you imagine the outcry if PBS tried to criticize the Islamic Koran?

Ed Thomas of OneNewsNow.com reported today that some of the heretical pronouncements of the producers of The Bible’s Buried Secrets are a belief “that the Bible -- especially the Old Testament -- was written by up to 100 authors; that it was never meant to be literal; that the story of Abraham and Sarah likely was not a real story, but simply an allegory.”

This is just another evidence of the deliberate attack on God, Jesus Christ, and Christianity by elements of the culture bent on inculcating secular humanism as the only acceptable worldview or religion in 21st century America.

On its website Liberty Counsel (LC) says that today, Wednesday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m., a press conference will be held. At that press conference Liberty Counsel will announce that it is joining the boycott against McDonald's. Other participating groups joining Liberty Counsel are: • American Family Association (AFA), which launched the McDonald’s boycott, • Americans for Truth, • Illinois Family Institute, • AFA of Pennsylvania, and • Family Taxpayers Foundation.

"While referring to Christians and other people with traditional values, a McDonald's spokesman arrogantly stated, "Hatred has no place in our culture." This statement suggested that anyone supporting the historical definition of marriage is motivated by hate. The company has insulted everyone who supports traditional marriage. McDonald's might as well change their signs from "billions and billions served," to read "billions and billions insulted.""

The American Family Association (AFA) is calling for a national boycott against the famous hamburger joint, McDonalds. What could McDonald’s do to merit such an action? According to AFA’s BoycottMcDonalds.com website the boycott is “about McDonald's, as a corporation, refusing to remain neutral in the culture wars. McDonald's has chosen not to remain neutral but to give the full weight of their corporation to promoting the homosexual agenda, including homosexual marriage.”

In an OneNewsNow.com news report that Don Wildmon, founder of the American Family Association (AFA), says they went to McDonald's after learning several months ago that the company had joined the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. And following a $20,000 donation to that group, one of McDonald's executives was placed on the Chamber's board of directors.

OneNewsNow.com quoted Wildmon as saying, "We contacted McDonald's and showed them what they were doing -- that is, helping to support the homosexual agenda ... [O]ne of the primary purposes of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is to promote homosexual marriage ... In fact, McDonald's strongly told us that they are reaffirming their commitment to -- they called it -- 'diversity.'"

Unfortunately I eat out more often than I should. I personally stopped patronizing McDonald’s about the time I first heard of their affiliation with the homosexual/lesbian Chamber. Until they turn away from their desire to be politically correct and appease the supporters and promoters of an unhealthy, unnatural, abnormal and immoral lifestyle and behavior, I will continue to pass by every McDonald’s store. I refuse to help McDonald’s promote homosexuality. In America McDonald’s has the freedom to do as it pleases. It must also live the consequences of its decision.

Ron Paul’s Position on a Federal Marriage Amendment

Last week I explained Ron Paul’s position on an abortion amendment. I then wrote a letter to the American Family Association informing them that they have misrepresented Ron Paul’s position on this issue in their Voter’s Guide.

On an unrelated note, Mitt Romney has just dropped out of the race. It looks like this race is over, but I say vote for the candidate you think is the best. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN.

Now on to the topic at hand. RP is not in favor of legalizing gay marriage, but opposes the FMA. He explains himself very well in this article which I highly recommend reading. The Marriage Protection Act which RP co-sponsored was in fact signed into law by President Bush. (My fellow blogger recently pointed out that John McCain voted against this.) The MPA is another example of what I was talking about last week--using Article III, section 2 to limit the authority of the Supreme Court over an issue. (The MPA protects the Defense of Marriage Act from being struck down by the Supreme Court.) It reads:

No court created by Act of Congress shall have any jurisdiction, and the Supreme Court shall have no appellate jurisdiction, to hear or decide any question pertaining to the interpretation of, or the validity under the Constitution of, section 1738C or this section.

I would also like to add more comments to this. According to wikipedia, ten states and the District of Columbia have adopted same-sex civil unions, domestic partnerships, or reciprocal beneficiary relationships. Only one, Massachusetts, has actual gay marriage. But there is essentially no difference. Any FMA which would ban gay “marriage” but not these other constructs (gay “marriage” by a different name) would be a lot of effort for so little.

I live in Ohio, which is a state that has banned any type of same-sex union. But the state of Ohio does offer its employees (at least where I work) same-sex domestic partner benefits, which contradicts our state marriage amendment. Since it is hard enough to get a state to comply with its own laws, it would seem impossible to get them to comply with federal law.

Since DOMA and MPA are now protecting the states from having to recognize another state's gay marriage, I agree with RP that we should concentrate our efforts on the state level.

Most people would say that there is nothing about marriage in the Constitution. I would dispute this. The seventh amendment makes reference to common law. This could be a reference to the common laws which were inherited by the U.S. from England and which, if not superseded by newer laws, would still be binding. Such laws include marriage laws. But I need to leave that discussion for a later time.

From a theological point of view, one should consider the consequences of defining marriage as monogamous only. How can you forbid something that God allowed of Abraham, Jacob, David, and Solomon? How can you not recognize it as legitimate if God did? I would never do it myself, but...
