Faith and Action on the National Day of Prayer

The group Faith & Action is having prayers at the Supreme Court for the National Day of Prayer. Four years ago they bravely started this traditional at the risk of being prosecuted for violating the non-existent “separation of church and state” law. This year they are also cosponsoring a continuous 90 hour bible reading from the West Steps of the U.S. Capitol Building, which started on Sunday and runs though noon today. The Bible is being read aloud over a public address system so that the members of Congress can hear it during the hours they are session! Wow, what a great idea!

Don’t know what to pray? Here are some ideas:

Here is another thing that you can pray for. THAT BARACK OBAMA WOULD abondon his hypocrisy and START PRACTICING WHAT HE PREACHES (at least when he preaching to men and women of faith).

What’s going on here?

John McCain is saying that he “stood up to the President” on the environment. Barak Obama came to Ohio saying that he wants to expand President Bush’s faith-based initiative. Read what Obama is saying now about the war in Iraq on the previous post. What’s going on here? Who is riding Bush’s coattails and who is making him look like a buffoon? Did McCain and Obama switch parties?

Not hardly, they are both still Republicrats.

McCain is a liberal through in through. You can expect him to take the side of more government on every issue from health-care to the environment and take the side of injustice on every issue from prayer in schools to abortion. Don’t be fooled by this socialist.

Obama is using this “faith-based” initiative, not only as way of tempting conservatives to compromise their values and vote him, but also for a much more sinister and destructive reason. Think about it. If a politician said we need to bring back federal welfare programs, even most liberals would say that this is not a good idea because it has failed in the past. But this socialist “faith-based” initiative is just another form of welfare and brings about the same corruption among those who are put in charge of redistributing this stolen wealth. So instead of just having some corrupt social services agency, now we are corrupting churches. There is no substitute for honest, free will giving. Like President Bush, Obama likes this program (making easier for churches to get government money) because it is just another way for Satan to attack the church.
