The Illogic of Abortion Proponents on the 41st Anniversary of Roe v. Wade

Today is the eve of the 41st anniversary of the notorious and atrocious Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision. It was and is a terribly flawed and fatal decision for millions of babies and many women.  It has resulted in an on-going American Atrocity.

It is important that we remember that the Nazi officials who deliberated at Villa Wannsee over their ghastly plans for exterminating European Jewry were all well-educated, with at least half of them holding doctorate degrees. Some were also the sons of Protestant ministers, yet not one of them raised any moral objections to this heinous plot…

German Christian leaders have come to Jerusalem to deliver a critical message to the world that the abhorrent evil of Nazism represented by the Wannsee Conference must never be allowed to rise again…

The American Holocaust

Isn’t it ironic that the Jewish Holocaust of 70 years ago was launched almost exactly 30 years before America’s own on-going Holocaust? One was started by an elite group of Nazi officials and bureaucrats in Germany. The other, more recent genocide was decreed in black-robed grim reapers in a courtroom in Washington, D.C. 30 years later.

As evil and heinous as the original Jewish holocaust was, in terms of numbers, the murder of 11 million persons the Jewish Holocaust, it pales by comparison to the bloody American Atrocity of aborted lives (54 million or 5 times as many casualties as the Jewish Holocaust). In America, one of our key founding documents clearly states that all persons have been endowed by the Creator with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. However, we stand by while 54 million innocent babies (and counting) are viciously murdered. This bloodshed is the a direct result of the wicked, unethical, unnatural, inhumane ‘legalizing of abortion’ decisions of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton made by the so-called U.S. Supreme Court!   

So during this weekend, it is good take time to remember and to contemplate the great evil that man is capable of doing. It is also a good time to review what steps one can take to reverse this perverse situation.

Roe v. Wade, 39 Years Later

Every year, since the 1973 SCOTUS decision to legalize the murder of innocent children, there has been some formal recognition of this tradegy. Pro-Life proponents have conducted annual March for Life events ever since 1973. Many churches will be participating in National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, where special messages will be presented recognizing the great evil of abortion that has been allowed to grow and fester in this nation.

This Sunday, January 22, 2012 is the 39^th Anniversary of the infamous Roe versus Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision. I saw the embedded video below today and was impressed with its timely and informative message.

The Ohio HEARTBEAT BILL Discussed Today in Senate

The Health, Human Services and Aging Committee of the Ohio Senate is meeting to discuss a very controversial, but critical bill this afternoon. The following State Senators will decide whether this bill advances out of their committee:

Dear Senator

Please vote YES on the Heartbeat Bill, HR 125, when it comes up tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon in the Senate Health, Human Services and Aging Committee hearing.  

Abortion remains unethical, immoral, and unjust even though the SCOTUS has erroneously declared it to be 'legal.' This bill recognizes the need to protect a human life at the point a human heartbeat is detected. (However, I believe that life begins at conception, and ultimately we need a Personhood Amendment here in Ohio to protect all life.) But I see the heartbeat bill as an important step in the direction of upholding all life as promised in the Declaration of Independence. Life is a basic right for every human being born and unborn.

Please support this bill and do all you can to get your fellow Senators to support it.

We must stop the senseless murder on these innocents. Not only are the lives of the babies ruined, but mothers are often irrevocably damaged physically, emotionally, and spiritually no matter how often and in what ways the supporters of 'choice' or 'women's rights' try to deny it.

In addition, instead of punishing the baby for in cases of rape, let's ratchet up the punishment for the rapist up to and including death, to make it a real determent. Why punish the baby? What did he or she do to deserve the death penalty?

Also please vote yes on HR 171, the ban on cloning.

We must once again begin to respect all life in Ohio.

How strongly do the Republicans value Life? This bill has already passed the Ohio House. The Democratic Party, Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and a vast array of other Pro-Death groups and individuals will do all they can to stop this bill. We must resist and encourage and support passage of this bill, HR 171 and the Personhood Amendment. The American Holocaust, the American Atrocity of abortion must end!

Celebrating Life: A Historic Pro-Life Day in Ohio

Life Support: Ohio Heartbeat Bill Passes 6/28/2011

I just received this good news in an email from Chris Long of the Ohio Christian Alliance. There were three pieces of pro-life legislation in the Ohio state legislature today. All three passed to the chagrin of the pro-death crowd. In the end it is inching Ohio a little closer to the truth that life begins at conception and that all human life is sacred. I am sure that the forces of evil will be amassed to overturn this partial victory in the court. But for now it is a victory for life.

The anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence, which clearly emphasizes “Life” as the first inalienable right is only days away. I could not think of a more appropriate time for pro-life laws to be approved that immediately preceding the July 4th celebration!

Today, Ohio made history as the Ohio Legislature passed three significant pieces of pro-life legislation…


H.B. 78, Ohio's ban on late term abortion, sponsored by State Representatives Kristina Roegner and Joe Uecker, passed the Ohio House by a margin of 64-32.


H.B. 79 , a provision to opt Ohio out of taxpayer abortion coverage under the new federal health care law, sponsored by Representatives Danny Bubp and Joe Ueker, passed by a vote of 62-35.


Ohio's Heartbeat Bill, H.B. 125, sponsored by State Rep. Lynn Wachtmann, passed the Ohio House by a margin of 54-43. This legislation goes farther than any previous pro-life legislation to date. It will restrict abortion when a baby's heartbeat can be detected. Numerous pro-life organizations throughout the state, along with pro-life legislators, worked on the passage of this legislation.


Ohio Christian Alliance (OCA) President Chris Long made the following statement, "These successes are due to the efforts of pro-life Ohioans who for years have prayed, voted, and lobbied for the unborn. Their voices were heard on behalf of the unborn innocent, and that message is resonating with members of the Ohio Legislature and is evidenced by this strong pro-life legislation."

FDA, HHS: Where are the Abortion Warning Labels?

This week the big government Federal Drug Administration (FDA) announced its new graphic warning labels to be placed on packs of cigarettes. Isn't that so caring and so controlling of big brother or big comrade government? I contend that abortion kills more humans and is even more insidious and harmful to babies and women then cigarettes, yet where is the outcry against this social injustice, this infanticide, this American atrocity?

The FDA recently announced new restrictions on cigarette packages, forcing manufacturers to feature prominent graphic images on the front of every cigarette package to warn smokers of harmful effects that smoking can have on their health and those around them.


When picking up their cigarette packages, smokers will see pictures of a man blowing smoke out of a hole in his neck, a smoker’s mouth riddled with cancer, a baby under a cloud of smoke, and a deceased man, among other colored graphics.


This marks the biggest change in cigarette package warnings in over a quarter of a century and notes the shift in American public opinion about smoking. Smoking has become passe.


Yet, what about abortion?


Where are the warning labels on abortion?


Where are the warnings to tell women that abortion will kill their child and scare them for life?

You can tell a lot about a person (or organization) about the friends they keep and the tweets they send. Just look at former representative Anthony Weiner, then maybe we shouldn’t look. Here is rather infamous baby-killing organization, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and their twitter marketing activity that caught the eye of the Family Research Council, which reported the following:

If Planned Parenthood were really suffering financially, do you think the organization could afford to spend $100,000 on tweets? Jill Stanek did some digging and found out that America's biggest abortion group is so desperate that it's paying people to follow them on Twitter. As a new form of advertising, the social media execs are offering "promoted tweets," where companies can pay to have their messages listed with users. Back in September, the Wall Street Journal reported Twitter was selling the 140-character messages for $100,000 each. Planned Parenthood has paid for two. Obviously, the abortion giant is more interested in keeping their government dollars than providing services to women. Instead of using that money to keep their clinics open in Minnesota and Indiana and provide those so-called "vital services for women," the group is spamming people on Twitter. So the next time Planned Parenthood cries poor, Congress should tell them to tweet it to someone who cares.

Should Planned Parenthood's abortion services be a key issue in the budget fight?

What About the Babies?

My answer is yes, Planned Parenthood's abortion services is a key issue in the budget fight. The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), the biggest in the Big Abortion industry, is corrupt to its core as demonstrated by recent and in the past by LiveAction.org undercover video exposés. Covering up statutory rapists, giving advice to sex traffickers, playing fast & loose with the law are merely some of the deviant activities of this loathsome, liberal icon of an organization. The President and Democratic leadership in Congress is sold out to this vile, despicable child-killing machine.

If life is sacred, and it is indeed so, then preservation of life is our responsibility. Abortion may be considered “legal” by some, but it remains unethical and immoral.

Read the Associated Press (AP) article, “Planned Parenthood, abortion and the budget fight,” which I saw on twitter. It provides a good fair representation of each side, the liberal and the conservative, of the Planned Parenthood funding issue.

My U.S. Representative, Jim Jordan (R-OH) says it best in a quote from the above referenced article, “The country is broke and the vast majority of Americans don't want tax dollars to take the life of unborn children." He added that although Planned Parenthood supposedly does not use its 1/3 of a billion dollar government funding directly for performing its huge number of abortions, “Money is fungible. ... It's just common sense. We think that taxpayers understand this, particularly at a point in history when the country is broke."

So funding Planned Parenthood in anyway should be part of the budget issue. Although, I do not believe that the old line Republicans, Boehner and his buddies have the guts to stand firm on this key rider. Unfortunately, I expect that before the bewitching hour of midnight tonight they will end up throwing more babies under the bus …

The article describes Life Always'  most recent endeavor to place pro-life billboards, like the one above, in and around President Obama's beloved Chicago ... Ironically it is Planned Parenthood, the Democratic Party and President Obama who show unwavering support for the killing of black babies.

... The billboards’ message is taken from polls showing that black women have more abortions than their white counterparts. In a 2008 poll, the sexual health research organization Guttmacher Institute (a Planned Parenthood related research organization) examined abortion rates in the U.S. between 1974 and 2004 and found that Hispanic and black women were three to five times more likely to have an abortion than white women.

 “These are babies who could grow up to be the future presidents of the United States, or the next Oprah Winfrey, Denzel Washington or Maya Angelou,” said Life Always Board Member, the Rev. Derek McCoy. Those future black leaders, he said, “are being aborted at an alarming rate.”

Taxpayer Funding of Planned Parenthood: An Unhealthy Choice!

The Akron-Beacon Journal has an editorial today (on Ohio.com) titled titled “Unhealthy Choice.” It was fluff piece extolling the 'virtues' of the malicious organization, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the largest abortion provided with 800 plus 'clinics.'

The gist of the editorial presents a case for funding this despicable organization. The writer talks about the positive things that the dastardly Planned Parenthood organization does. It talks about the “breast and cervical screenings to vaccinations and pregnancy testing” that it offers to women. The article uses such terms as “indispensible” and “an essential link” in referring to the services that it offers to women. I disagree with the editorial completely.

Here are some additional comments, which I submitted in response to this terribly liberally biased, pro-death editorial:

You leave out some very important reasons for Congressman Mike Pence and a slew of his bipartisan members voting to defund the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. PPFA is much like ACORN, which also lost its funding because of the lawbreaking shenanigan it undertook.

PPFA in Ohio did not report cases of child rape, which it was obligated to report. PPFA clinics have been caught in undercover investigations advising pimps, prostitutes and sex traffickers of minors how to skirt the state laws.  Clinic staff even aided and abetted in offering advice as how to avoid the law.

The funds that PPFA receives from the government amount to over $360 million (1/3 of a BILLION!) annually. Those funds are fungible. PPFA shrewdly claims that none of those funds are used directly for abortions. However, those funds prop up or subsidize to a great extent overhead cost for their legal, but wicked abortion practice. Taxpayers essentially fund abortions through money provided for the “family planning” side of Planned Parenthood’s operation.  PPFA performs 300K abortions each year. It leads this horrific industry in the number of abortions performed.  

Further, PPFA has been in serious legal trouble in fraudulent billing in several states. For all of these reasons and more PPFA should be DEFUNDED in the 2011 continuing resolution as well as in the FY 2012 budget.  

I am  not sure my comments will be published on line. As lame as the editorial was and as biased as it was I am doubtful that they would want to have their readers exposed to the truth. If you would like to get an inside look at the abortion debate in America today unPlanned by Abby Johnson is a must read. It is a very personal account of an individual with insights on both sides of this intense life and death issue. Abby was brought up in a strong Christian home, yet ended up being the director of a godless abortion provider clinic in Bryan, Texas. The book is filled with twists and turns, ups and downs in this twenty-something woman’s life. We get a glimpse in her story, at the motivations of someone in this dreadful business, and some of the inner secrets of both sides of the abortion controversy.

Abby Johnson bares her soul, her life to the reader from her freshman year in college days until the present. Motivated by a desire to help women in crisis after she stopped at the abortion and alleged women’s health billion dollar provider, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America's volunteer table on the campus of Texas A & M University, she was inspired (duped really) to join their ‘cause.’ She unknowingly and naively bonded with this deadly, deceptive and morally and ethically corrupt organization.

For nearly a decade Abby thought she was doing the right thing, serving women in crisis. She was a compassionate, caring volunteer, counselor and eventual director in the Planned Parenthood organization. Then one day she was asked to assist in an actual abortion, holding the ultrasound wand so the abortionist could end the life of a 14 or so week old baby. That was it. Watching the screen, watching the deliverate termination of a human life was the culmination of many God directed steps that Abby was to walk to arrive at her eventual decision to leave her position at Planned Parenthood.

In reading this insightful book you should come to the conclusion that Abby Johnson was a sincere, caring individual. However she was on the wrong side of the abortion fence. She knowingly or unwittingly contributed to the murder of hundreds, maybe thousands of human beings and bringing pain and misery to many women. All the time she was thinking she was helping women in crisis. She did help some, but in the larger context she hurt as many or more.

How many caring, compassionate, considerate people got sucked into this horrid pregnancy termination business? I would guess a great number. Hopefully many will see the light of truth as Abby Johnson did. Hopefully many will identify with Abby in reading this book, unPlanned, and will come over to the right side of the fence and call abortion what it is, the taking of innocent life and will want to have nothing to do with that horrific procedure.

Banned Parenthood

Hat tip goes to the Family Research Council who sent me this item about the defunding of Planned Parenthood, which happened during the FY2011 budget proceedings in the U.S. House of Representatives last week. I watched some of the C-Span televised event over the three or four days. The open debate was what I imagined the Founders had in mind when they birthed this nation. 

Let us hope and pray that the Senate will get serious about the need to trim the budget and approve the Continuing Resolution before the March 4, 2011 deadline or at least by March 31st. Then Congress needs to work on the FY2012 budget, which will take an even more deliberate effort on the part of both sides of the political aisle. 

"A few more days of working the third shift, and Congress might give New York a run for its money as the "city that never sleeps." But ask House members, and some of them will tell you that these nocturnal hours agree with them. Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.), a good friend of Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), says SpeakerJohn Boehner (R-Ohio) deserves a lot of credit for how he's managing the chamber. "It was a pleasure working around the clock last night," Miller said. "This is the way it was when I came here. This is open rule. This gives people a chance to throw up their amendments. I don't agree with them, but we can debate them and decide one way or another... I think it's encouraging." While not everyone is ready to hang an "Open 24 Hours" sign over the Capitol's door, it has given leaders the opportunity to speak up at crucial times.

 "And no time was more crucial than last night, when members took almost three hours to debate the defunding of Planned Parenthood. The exchange was passionate, fiery, and outrageous--but above all, it was necessary. Of all the 583 amendments offered to thecontinuing resolution (which set the government's budget through September), Rep. Mike Pence's #11 should have been number one on the taxpayers' list. For 41 long years, Planned Parenthood has skimmed billions of dollars off the federal budget to fund a business that exploits, aborts, and misleads women. As Congressmen Pence said, "...[T]his is not about Planned Parenthood's right to be in the abortion business... This debate is about who [funds] it... Nobody is saying that Planned Parenthood can't be the leading advocate of abortion on demand in America ... but why do I have to pay for it?" Democrats fired back that Planned Parenthood offers more to women than abortion. But if those services are as vital as people say they are, Planned Parenthood will find a way to fund them. Organizations do charitable work all the time without the government's help. And unlike Planned Parenthood, 99.9% of them probably haven't been caught on tape encouraging child sex abuse. If thousands of nonprofits can perform quality community outreach without $363 million in taxpayer funds, so can Planned Parenthood.

 "Unfortunately, several liberals did not agree and instead slammed the amendment as a "war on women." But the real war on women is being waged by Democrats who view abortion as a type of birth control. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wisc.) actually stood on the House floor and said that abortion was a better option for unplanned babies than a life "eating Ramen noodles" or "mayonnaise sandwiches." Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.), who is a physician, took offense. "We treat green turtle eggs better than we treat children in the womb," he shot back. "What about those who suffer from sexual assault?" asked Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), "Where do they go?" Given Lila Rose's latest videos, anywhere but Planned Parenthood! Their clinics are not only the most dangerous places on earth for a child, as Congressman Chris Smith (R-N.J.) said, but they are also the safest havens for sexual predators. The bottom is this: if Congress needs to spend three hours debating the integrity of an organization, should we really be funding it in the first place?

I just sent the following e-mail to my U.S. Representative. 

As a taxpayer and your constituent, I respectfully request that you co-sponsor the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.  This bill ensures that tax dollars under the Title X federal family planning assistance program do not go to organizations that perform abortions.

As Americans, we do not want their hard earned money subsidizing abortion.

Please respect the conscience of your constituents and support the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.

Planned Parenthood received $650 million in federal funds over a seven year period.  It is appalling that an organization that ends innocent, human life and has a history of exploiting women, evidenced once again in the recently released Live Action videos showing Planned Parenthood staff aiding and abetting sex trafficking and the cover-up of sexual abuse of minors (Ohio) would receive any federal funds, let alone hundreds of millions of dollars.

Please stand up for the Right to Life for the weakest and most vulnerable of all human beings and co-sponsor the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.
