What Democrats Want, Day 28, Countdown to Oblivion? MIDDLE EAST

As of today, there are 28 days until the most consequential election in American history. This is what they say about many past elections, but this is really it. For if the Democrats seize power – control of the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate and the Presidency – and doing it by hook or by crook (the justifies the means, you know) America as we know it will be forever changed. America envisioned and created by the Founding Fathers will disappear into the shadows of history.

The ungodly secular-humanists/Marxists slow march through America’s institutions over the last 100 years or so will have reached a crescendo – fulfilling Mr. Obama’s fundamental transformation of control of the masses.

Envision with me what a Socialist Democratic Party, takeover, a bloodless coup, a regime change, would look like. This is one in a series of daily articles leading up to the 2020 General Election

 

APPEASEMENT is the word that best describes the Democrats’ approach to the enemies of America both foreign and domestic.

 

Iran

Iran sees itself as the power of the Middle East and is intent on dominating that region and destroying Israel. President Obama provided Iran with funds used to commit terror and to build nuclear weapons. President Trump voided the Iran Nuclear Deal and reestablished necessary sanctions.

The Democratic Party would continue to follow President Obama’s efforts and support a comprehensive effort to extend constraints on Iran’s nuclear program and address Iran’s other threatening activities including its regional aggression, ballistic missile program, and domestic repression.

The Republican Party and the Trump Administration consider President Obama’s Iran Nuclear Deal as being a personal agreement between Obama and the Iranian negotiators. The Iran Nuclear Deal emboldened and enabled Tehran to continue to sponsor terrorism across the Middle East region, to develop a nuclear weapon, to test-fire ballistic missiles inscribed with “Death to Israel” and to continue to abuse the basic human rights of its citizens including severe persecution of Christ-followers. That is why President Trump is not bound by the deal.

 

Israel

Our only true friend in the Middle East is Israel (see Day 53 post). The PLO does not want peace the Palestine Liberation Organization wants to drive Israel out of existence. President Trump moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem in recognition of that city being Israel’s capitol. Previous president said they would do it, but President Trump did it His administration has helped to facilitate two peace treaties between Israel and two of its previous enemies.

The Democratic Party is more sympathetic to the terroristic Palestinians than they are to Israel. Democrats support the Boycott Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement against Israel. This is particularly true on American College campuses. A Fortune Magazine article answers the question: “Is the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement an international campaign to boycott Israel over its alleged harsh treatment of Palestinians—or the latest political battle in Washington? It could be both, which makes this complex topic that has been protested on college campuses and debated in Congress, both fascinating and baffling, depending on whom you ask.” Basically BDS is a tactic used by the enemies of Israel, including many in the Democratic Party to hurt Israel.

Turkey

Turkey, a NATO member and once a pro-Western Islamic dominated state, now has intentions of re-establishing and leading the Ottoman Empire. A Foreign Policy online article says it all, “Turkey’s New Maps Are Reclaiming the Ottoman Empire.” Turkey has eyes on expanding its influence in the Middle East.

The Republican Trump administration officials reached with Turkey to released Pastor Andrew Brunson, who had been detained for two years in a Turkish prison being accused of helping terrorist groups, charges which Brunson denies. NBCNews.com reported that Brunson “spent more than two decades living in Turkey, where he ran the Resurrection Church in the western city of Izmir. He was detained in Turkey in October 2016 and charged with helping individuals Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says were behind a failed coup earlier that year.”

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been working on behalf of the religious persecuted in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world, something previous Democratic and Republican administrations have shied away from.

 

Immigration

Besides lax border enforcement and the “invasion” of Middle Eastern young men illegally into the United States, during the eight years of the Obama Administration vast number of Muslims from the Middle East and from other Islamic majority nations could come to the United States legally. Many Christ-followers were denied entry.

Dr. Rich Swier in his 2015 article, “Obama’s Massive Resettlement of 6 Million Muslims to the U.S.” wrote “In 2008, there were 1,349,000 Muslims in the United States, in 2012 because of Obama’s radical immigration policies, there numbers increased to 2.6 million, and because of Obama’s very aggressive immigration policies in support of only Muslim immigrants since 2012, the US Immigration Service has processed massive new numbers of Muslims from throughout the world.  Their numbers have grown by 67%; to what is now estimated to be 7 million Muslims residing in the United States.  The numbers Muslim immigrants will keep increasing asymmetrically by many more millions over the next 2 years, because Obama is driving this massive resettlement of “only” Muslim Immigrants in the UN Resettlement Program.

“Greek Catholic sources have said more than 300,000 Syrian and Assyrian Christians are among the refugees driven from their homes by ISIL and Al Q’ieda Radical Islamic Terrorists, but neither the UN nor Obama have shown any willingness to resettle Christians refugees in the US.  The Obama administration has resisted the acceptance of Christian refugees and is only aggressively pushing the acceptance of Muslim refugees from the UN Resettlement Program.  Muslim immigrants who haven’t had their backgrounds properly investigated pose a much greater risk to the Nation Security interests of the US, than Syrian and Assyrian Christian refugees who would pose very little or no risk.  The Christians have been crucified, beheaded, shot, and buried alive by Radical Islamic Terrorists in a genocide that has been underway for 6 years.   The UN is excluding Christians from their UN Resettlement Programs according to Greek Catholic sources; if that continues, all funding for the UN should be abruptly terminated by the US Congress.   Islam is now the fastest growing religion in the United States.”

 

 

Conclusion

The bottom line sadly is that the Democratic Party aligns itself more with the Islamic Middle East than it does to Christian America. A vote for Democrats is a vote for peace through appeasement. Therefore, a vote for any Democrat candidate, especially the Harris-Biden ticket is a vote to support Islamic intentions over the desires of and welfare and security of the American people.

A vote for Trump-Pence and for Republican candidates overall is a vote for peace through strength and a vote national sovereignty

Israel has had divided support among Americans. It seems that both parties on the surface say that they support Israel, but the Democratic talk does not always match its walk as does the Republican Party’s support at least under President Trump. When it comes right down to it Israel is our only trusted ally in the Middle East. Israel is our friend. 

Democratic Party and Israel 

In a Jewish News Syndicate article, “Democrats adopt platform at convention supporting two-state solution, opposing BDS,” the author summarizes several key points related to Israel found in the 2020 Democratic Party platform:

Ø    “The Democratic platform includes language that expresses support for the U.S.-Israel relationship, a pledge to maintain security funding for Israel and backing for a two-state solution “that ensures Israel’s future as a Jewish and democratic state with recognized borders and upholds the right of Palestinians to live in freedom and security in a viable state of their own.”

Ø    Regarding the status of Jerusalem, the platform states: “We believe that while Jerusalem is a matter for final-status negotiations, it should remain the capital of Israel, an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.”

Ø    It also expresses opposition to “any effort to unfairly single out and delegitimize Israel, including at the United Nations or through the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions [BDS] movement, while protecting the constitutional right of our citizens to free speech.”

A NJ.com article adds that the Democratic platform also opposes terrorism, settlement expansion and “any unilateral steps by either side — including annexation — that undermine prospects for two states.”

I am not so sure that the more radical elements of the Democrat Party, which makes up a large part of its activist and radical base, would agree with this portion of the Party’s platform. On college campuses, in many major corporations and non profit organization there is a strong BDS movement. There is also a pro-Palestinian movement. The Obama Administration funded terrorism by returning huge amounts of money on pallets to the regime in Iran, which is hellbent on destroying Israel. Joe Biden was part of that Administration.

When President Trump moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem in recognizing it as being the capital of Israel, the Democrats were divided on their support for the move.

More than anything I think that the Democratic Party platform was written to placate the Jewish vote more than really supporting Israel to the degree that the Republican Party supports her.

Republican Party and Israel

The NJ.com article cited above, summarized the Republican Party platform: “While both parties support Israel, the Republicans said nothing about the two-state solution that has been the bipartisan cornerstone of U.S. foreign policy for decades. It called for moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, which Trump did during his first term…The GOP platform called BDS “anti-Semitism” and said it “should be denounced by advocates of academic freedom.”’

Recently the Trump Administration helped to broker a deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. The Washington Post noted that President Trump’s “allies are casting the deal that the White House helped broker between Israel and the United Arab Emirates as a historic act of peacemaking. In a tweet Tuesday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared the agreement “truly the most significant step forward for Middle East peace in two and a half decades.””

President Trump has done more than his predecessors and has done more than talk about helping Israel, he has acted on their behalf.

Conclusion

Were the Democrats to win control of the entire government this fall, the status of Israel-U.S. relations would be a big question mark. Israel would receive less support and her enemies in the Middle East including Palestine would receive more support. A vote for the Democratic Party and for a Democratic candidate is generally a vote against the state of Israel.

Islam and Progressives Conspire: Israel Bad, Hamas Good

I needed to respond to another fact-less and atrocious article of that leftist propaganda media, AlterNet. The article by Max Blumenthal titled, "How Israel Used Its Own Civilians as Human Shields While Assaulting Gaza, Israel's military is enmeshed in civilian society," begs for a comment. So here I go:

Max, my friend, get your facts straight.

I will attempt to interpret some of your words:

* Max says, “Ongoing assault on the Gaza Strip,” but the truth is, Israel is just defending herself.

* Max accuses Israel of having, “a heavily regimented army of 10,000 public relations flacks,” but the truth is it is that Islamic and Leftist media, including AlterNet writers like Max, try to portray Israel as the aggressor, the bad guy, the little Satan. But the real flacks are the Obama Administration including John Kerry, ABC, NBC, NPR, and CBS who defend the terrorist Hamas led Palestinians!

* Max contends, “Gaza fighters were exclusively targeting active duty Israeli military personnel and avoiding attacks on civilians.” But the truth is, Israel is better able to protect itself and its citizens from the Islamic terrorist inspired and lead assault on Israel. If Hamas could kill all Jews they would.

It all boils down to this one simple fact:

"If the Arabs put down their weapons there would be no more war. If Israel put down her weapons, there would be no Israel." --- Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel.

Know Hamas, no Hamas.

Inhumane and Heartless Hamas

I just had to respond to another leftist article I saw at www.AlterNet.org  titled, "The Most Harrowing, Heart-Breaking Dispatches from Palestinians in Gaza, Palestinians in Gaza are using social media to connect with the outside world they are cut off from."

The article is an extremely one-sided story. The author must be a Hamas apologist.

There is no mention at all in the article about who started this conflict in the first place. Leftist commentators conveniently forget that inhumane Islamo-fascist terrorist Hamas is who provoked the conflict. They took the offensive. THEY, not Israel, are the offenders.

Nor does the author of the article mention the horrific strategy Hamas terrorists employ to defend themselves - firing rockets from Mosques and hospitals and neighborhoods, using the Palestinian people as their human shields. Could this be one big reason why the casualties are so high? Yes, I think so.

Actually, it is Israel who cares more about avoiding Palestinian civilian casualties than does Hamas. They go out of their way with warning the populace of forthcoming attacks. On the other hand, Hamas cares nothing about the Palestinian people. All heartless Hamas cares about is seizing power and participating in the ultimate abortion of Israel.

Hamas Has Created Its Own Iron Dome in Gaza

The savage Islamist terrorist group Hamas has its own version of the iron dome defense system in Gaza. It is the Palestinian people, they are Hamas' human shield. The more civilians killed the better, Hamas thinks it looks better for them in the eyes of the world. It's all Israel's fault, despite the fact that these barbaric Islamists initiated the fighting by launching rocket after rocket against Israel. Hamas wants no part of any peace process and it demonstrates such on a daily basis. It cares nothing about the Palestinian people despite their arguments to the contrary.

President Barack Obama's foolish and buffoonish Secretary of Statism John Kerry decries and bad mouths the true victim, Israel and seems to sympathize with the evil incarnate Hamas. I'm not sure which of Mr. Obama's policies are worse, his domestic policy such as encouraging the illegal alien invasion by means of an open border and lack of enforcement of current immigration laws, or his 'lead from behind' foreign policy of ignoring Russian aggression and the dyer threat posed by Islam and its various terrorist unsainted and unsavory disciples.

Israeli Government Contemplates Eliminating Conscription Exemption for Ultra-Orthodox Jews

Ultra-orthodox Jews are exempt from serving in the Israeli military.  The Israeli government is considering eliminating the exemption.  The other Israeli citizens are saying that it is unfair that they are forced to join the army while the ultra-orthodox Jews are not.  They are right that it is not fair, but it wrong for anyone to be conscripted.  In a free country anyone should be allowed to chose not to serve in the armed forces.  Otherwise the rights of conscience and religious freedom are violated.  Anyone should be allowed to refuse to participate in a war regardless of the reason why and regardless of what country you are from.  In the United States, we have the 13th amendment to our constitution, which forbids involuntary servitude.

Five Reasons to Vote NObama NOw or in November

I have some very serious reservations regarding Governor Mitt Romney. This election season we are faced with two very sorry, poor, less than optimal choices for President of the United States. However, there is one of the two candidates who is absolutely unacceptable. Janet Porter's video below clearly describes why I will be voting NObama in November! I will not like it, but I will mark the ballot for Governor Romney.

 

The top five reasons Barack Obama should not be re-elected as President include:

·         Life - There is no question of where President Obama stands. He even believes in partial abortion. He voted three times against the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act. He turned his back on the will of the people and forced abortion to be included in ObamaCare. ObamaCare creates the Death Panel, who will prescribe what treatment Americans may or may not

·        Marriage Corruption – Obama believes that same-sex couples should be able to get “married.” Chick-filet values are not Chicago values – Rahm Emanuel, and thank God they are not!

·         Israel – Obama could not meet with the Prime Minister of Israel, he was just too busy with David Letterman…

·         Freedom – What did Obama do when Islamist Jihadists murdered our Ambassador? He spent $100,000 for ads apologizing for the video, which they said caused the “protest.”

·         America – 46 million Americans are on food stamps, a 70% increase from 2007.

Two more reasons include:

Amnesty – Obama champions open borders and the Dream Act. He continues not to enforce immigration laws.

Massive Debt and Deficits – The Obama administration has undertaken unrestrained spending without living within a budget. What budget?  The Democrat controlled Senate has not approved a budget in nearly three years.
 

Obama’s Middle East Policy: Throw Israel under the bus!

Obama in his second major speech on the Middle East not only throws Israel under the bus, but he backs up the bus and runs over the nation of Israel, then abandons it for dead! Below are a couple of troublesome quotes from President Barack Husein Obama’s Teleprompted speech, which he delivered this week. This was a very insulting speech given less than 24 hours prior to a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“The US believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine.”

“As for security, every state has the right to self-defense, and Israel must be able to defend itself - by itself - against any threat.”

In the first he wants the borders of Israel to be returned to pre-1967, prewar demarcation. This is a joke. Israel was attacked. A war occurred. Israel won the war, they ceased the spoils of war, now Obama wants to see Israel give up their land. Whose side is this guy on? It sure seems that in everything he does he favors the Muslim cause. And he says he is a Christian?

As for the second quote the President is saying that Israel is on its own. He appears to be abandoning Americans strongest and perhaps only ally in the Middle East. Is this how we treat our friends? I agree with those who state that this man is anti-Sematic.

Once again this controversial and increasingly unpopular President has demonstrated his own and his entire administration’s vast inexperience and his and their Muslim and Marxist bias.

Help Israel by signing this UN petition

I became aware, recently, through the CHPP that Rabbi Jonathan Berris, President and CEO of Jewish Voice Ministries, sent out the following information and made requests to American friends of Israel:

NEED TO ASK FOR YOUR IMMEDIATE PRAYERS AND ACTION!!!

The United Nations' Security Council is considering a resolution right now that would declare illegal "all Israeli settlement activity in the Occupied Palestinian Territory."

In simple terms, this proposed resolution would unilaterally end any negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians about the terms of a future separate state. The "Occupied Palestinian Territory" is all the land that was captured in the '67 war - a war Israel did not start and did not want - but I believe, it was a war that God supernaturally enabled Israel to win to secure her future.

This proposed resolution flies in the face of the facts and in the face of past UN action. Noted legal scholar and commentator Alan Derdshowitz describes this an an attempt to "retroactively rewrite (UN) Resolution 242 ... 44 years after it was enacted."

Incredibly, fourteen of the fifteen members of the Security Council say they support this resolution - every member other than the United States! That means that unless the U.S. vetoes the resolution, it will pass - and the consequences will be deadly. 

Sadly, it is not at all clear that the United States intends to act to defend Israel.

In light of this turn of events, Rabbi Berris has asked us to do two things:

(1)   To sign a petition to President Obama urging him to defend Israel by vetoing this resolution. Here is the content of the petition:

Dear President Obama:

 As a Bible-believing American citizen, I strongly urge you to instruct our delegation to the United Nations to veto the unfair anti-Israel resolution currently before the Security Council. This one-sided attempt to resolve all the disputed issues in favor of the Palestinians without any input from Israel cannot possibly result in a good outcome. America has long been a close friend and ally ofIsrael, and that should not change now. The peace process and negotiations that your Administration has promoted should be allowed to continue, with both sides urged to come to the table and work out their differences. I am praying that God will give you wisdom to deal with all of the challenges and pressures of your office. 

(2)   To pray and forward/email this information to all of your friends and ask them to add their voices to ours and then forward it on to THEIR friends.

I urge Christians, Conservatives, and Tea Party participants and all who support Israel to sign this petition and to spread this information.

I do not believe that the Palestinians are totally innocent in all that has gone on, but to deprive them of their basic human rights and to kill them wholesale is abominable.  Blockades deny people their basic right to use their property as they see fit.  This was recognized as a universal right by our Founding Fathers, only to be taken away from individuals with due process and only taken away from nations with a justifiable and formal declaration of war with reasonable terms of surrender. 


Being against Zionism and being for peace does not mean that you are anti-Semitic.  Evidence of this is that even Jews whose relatives have died in suicide bombing attacks and Holocaust survivors are willing to risk their lives to try to deliver aid to the Palestinians in Gaza.  These brave and unselfish Jews, even though they don’t believe that Jesus is their Messiah, are obeying Jesus’ exhortation in Matthew 5:43-48 (KJV) better than most Christians do.  Though they still need to come to know Jesus as their Savior for their salvation just like everybody else, they have already proven that real Judaism is a religion of peace.  I pray that these Jews might come to know Christ as their Savior.

Another War Looming?

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.

In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.

To ensure the Israeli bombers pass unmolested, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defence systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom’s air defences will return to full alert.

Russia Reverses on S-300 Missile Sale to Iran

Less than 24 hours after the Russian Foreign Ministry insisted that the long-delayed sale of the S-300 missile defense system to Iran was still on track and that the UN Security council sanctions did not apply to the defensive missiles.

Today, Russia has reversed that position entirely, and the Kremlin says that the sanctions actually do forbid the sale. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin insists that the sale has been frozen.

Articles of Freedom, part 10

This is a series of posts concerning the works of the 2009 Continental Congress. Two weeks ago I wrote about Article 8 of the Articles of Freedom, which was about juries and the seventh amendment. Now I will continue with Article 9, the text of which follows.

I completely agree with this article. Too bad most conservatives still don’t understand either the proper role of government or that Biblical mandate concerning “bless[ing] those who bless you [Abraham]” is talking about Christians, not any race of people. (Read Galatians 3:16, 28-29, get a KJV, and get a clue that Arabs are also literal descendents of Abraham!) Of course, this doesn’t just apply to Israel, but also to any other nation which we have enslaved ourselves (i.e. China, South Korea, Germany, etc.).

ARTICLE 9.

FOREIGN POLICY AND THE GENERAL WELFARE CLAUSE OF THE

PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION

A. BACKGROUND AND STATEMENT OF THE FACTS

The "general Welfare" is mentioned twice in the Constitution for the United States.

First in the Preamble where embedded with other reasons to establish a Constitution, it is stated: “. . . to promote the general Welfare . . .”

Article I § 8 then states: “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common defence and general Welfare of the United States; . . .” This declarative sentence is followed by a list of powers that restrict what Congress may do in this regard.

As James Madison states in Federalist 41 referencing the General Welfare clause: “Nothing is more natural or common, than to use a general phrase, and then to explain or qualify it by a recital of particulars.” Madison further writes that it would be an “absurdity” if the list of particulars was interpreted as anything but restrictive on the general statement.

Therefore, notwithstanding the interpretations of the past century, the Congress of the United States has misinterpreted the General Welfare clause in order to expand its powers and to impose the tyranny of unjust taxes upon The People.

The Preamble of the Constitution reveals that one of the reasons for its creation is to promote the general welfare of the people. A foreign policy which seeks to meddle in the internal affairs of foreign countries, including the act of choosing sides, is clearly detrimental to this cause. The “9-11” Report documents that this policy of meddling has caused foreign nationals to turn their hostilities toward Americans. These hostilities have given rise to domestic policies such as the so-called “war on terror”, which have resulted in the enactment of statutes such as the USA PATRIOT ACT that are inconsistent with the so-called Privacy Clause of the 4th Amendment.

There can be no doubt that this policy has endangered the security of the American people and has restricted their Natural Rights. This approach to relations with those beyond our borders clearly does not serve the General Welfare and does not serve the national interest.

The federal government has been served with a Petition for Redress of this grievance. However the government has failed to respond. Such refusal to respond, along with infringement of natural and enumerated Rights, Freedoms and Liberties reflects the behavioral characteristics of a police state.

The general welfare of the People is a principal goal of the United States Constitution, which implies a foreign policy consistent with the admonition of George Washington in his Farewell Address regarding foreign nations – i.e., “to have with them as little political connection as possible.”

We might look to Switzerland, a land-locked country in Central Europe, which has one of the highest GDP per capita in the world, which has avoided war since 1815 despite shared-borders with Germany, Italy and France.

Switzerland has remained aggressively neutral and her citizens are well-armed and well-prepared in the defense of their country.

B. REMEDIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO CONGRESS

Follow the Constitution for the United States:

1. Discontinue funding for any foreign aid or other funding that is not necessary for the defense against invasion of the United States;

2. Treaties that are inconsistent with or that violate the Constitution that have been ratified shall be nullified; and any further treaties that would infringe upon individual rights, liberties and freedoms, or that are otherwise repugnant to the Constitution shall not be ratified;

3. Repeal the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, REAL ID, and any other statute repugnant to the 4th Amendment of the Constitution.

C. REMEDIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO EACH OF THE SEVERAL STATES

The State Legislature of each of the several States shall pass a resolution in support of the above instructions to the Congress and thus exercise our just- powers as guaranteed by the 10th Amendment of the Bill of Rights.

D. RECOMMENDED CIVIC ACTIONS FOR THE PEOPLE

We call upon the People to:

1. Raise their voices with ours and those of each of the several States in support of the above instructions to the U.S. Congress;

2. Educate themselves and encourage their fellow citizens to increase their knowledge and awareness of this topic in order to bring our elected officials back under the control of the Constitution, and therefore, of the People;

3. Become personal ambassadors of good-will to citizens of all nations.

Defiance (2008)

Defiance is not the typical movie about the atrocities of Germany’s National Socialist Party role in the Jewish Holocaust in Europe during World War II. It is based on a true story. To me that is the best kind of movie.

The twist in this movie is that the Jews fiercely resisted and even bravely fought back, with success, their tyrannical oppressors. Three brothers lead a resistance movement against the mighty Germany army.

It is the story of the Beilski brothers, Tuvia, Zus and Asael. The Beilski Brigade over the course of time rescued and protected a thousand Jews, who were destined for extinction by the heinous Germans.

The movie weaves an interesting story around the unique characters and actions of the three brothers. Each very unique and playing an important role in the resistance and in the storyline.

The movie is very violent. The Holocaust was a very violent era in world history. The movie captures the flavor of the times. There was a good dose of crude language. The actors were believable, endearing and empathetic.

RATING

****1/2 out of *****. The movie was superb overall. I would highly recommend this movie. It is inspirational and exemplary in fighting for life and a cause greater than oneself. It sheds light on an often overlooked aspect of history.

I rented this movie at the local video store. It would be worth purchasing it.

You could say that this movie was a combination of a various elements. It could be said to be dramatic historical war documentary, with a touch of suspense, mystery and romance.

COMMENTARY

I could not help but think that in America today there is a growing resistance to the tyranny spreading in this current government under the leadership of President Soetoro aka Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid. These three "leaders" are the direct opposite of the kind of character and leadership displayed by the three Beilski brothers in the movie.

Daily there are clear demonstrations by our courts, by our media, by our schools and by our government of a hatred and even the pangs of persecution of true believers of Christ. It parallels what happened in Germany prior to World War II. If allowed to fester, it may lead to the killing of Christians adding to the tragic atrocity of abortions in America.

The lesson we can learn from this important movie is that there may soon come a time when we will have to physically resist the forces of evil in America. That evil my be our own government.
