Presidential Promise-Breaker

(Absurdistan News Service) Hat tip to the HotAirPundit which posted an insightful article, “Obama Skips Signing The Executive Order on Abortion Negotiated With Bart Stupak’ a short time ago. Congressman Bart (Simpson?) Stupak was in a word, duped by the Teleprompted President. Principle was exchanged for a promise of a meaningless proclamation that could be ignored or rescinded at will by a President who is a known promise-breaker.

Nobel Peace Prize to Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack Obama Premature & Undeserving

(Absurdistan, AGC ... News) WJR radio in Detroit reported at 5:00 AM this morning that President Barry Soetoro alias Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in Norway. What has grossly inexperienced man accomplished either domestically or internationally to deserve such an award? He has sought to appease our enemies in Iran and Afghanistan and Iran. He has also sought to hamstring Israel and to further compromise and destroy her sovereignty by demanding she give up more of her territory to radical Islamic terrorists. He seeks to award those who break into this nation (the illegal aliens) with amnesty in prospect of their future loyalty and votes. Is this what has gained him this award? It is an outrage and a disgrace.

According to the Associated Press, the Norwegian Nobel Committee said that (Soetoro) Obama was honored for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."

The Nobel Peace Prize is a joke. Previous “winners” include global warming charlatan and former Vice President Al Gore and that great enemy appeaser, former President and loose cannon Jimmy Carter. This award to the current occupier of the oval office is additional proof that the prize lacks any credibility.

(Aburdistan*) An AP story, “Obama’s Honeymoon Isn’t Over, Americans Still Give High Marks to New President, Poll Shows,” which I saw on AOL.com drew may attention. It made the following ridiculous assertion, “For the first time in years, more Americans than not say the country is headed in the right direction, a sign that (Barry Soetoro a/k/a) Barack Obama has used the first 100 days of his presidency to lift the public's mood and inspire hopes for a brighter future.” That reminded me of the alleged President’s wife, Michelle, who after stated after her husband appeared to be in the lead to received the Democratic Party’s nomination, “For the first time in my life I am proud of my country.” The two quotes are the same type of foolish and nonsensical drivel.

The president surely does not inspire hope in me. Quite the opposite, he inspires alarm, disappointment, and concern for what dastardly deed or policy or plan he will next pull out of his leftist bag of skulduggery.

THE BACKLASH, OR FIGHTING BACK

Like me, there is a growing number of Americans, who as they become aware of the degrading nature and direction of the policies of the Soetoro (alias Obama) Administration, are beginning to protest. The Tax Day TEA Parties are just a start of a growing rejection of the Democratic elite’s agenda to bring fiscal and social ruination to our country. Between 750K to a million, or maybe more, people took part in the April 15th protestations across the USA. This is a spontaneous movement sweeping America. I predict there will be double that amount of Americans who will participate at the next Tea Party to happen on Independence Day, July 4th. They eagerly await another opportunity to vent and voice their growing frustration and deep concern.

The people are unhappy with both of the major parties. It is not a partisan protest, but a bipartisan reproach of politics as usual and the wretched ratcheted increase in wasteful out-of-control government spending. More than that, what Soetoro (Obama) and the Democrats are doing amounts to fiscal child abuse or generational theft. The mounting debt and deficit is becoming almost insurmountable.'

HIS AGENDA . . .

The AP article claims that a recent Associated Press-GfK poll shows that most Americans consider their new president “to be a strong, ethical and empathetic leader who is working to change Washington.” Nothing could be further from the truth. That claim is ludicrous in light of the weakness Soetoro (alias Obama) has displayed in bowing to the Saudi King, the affection and honor and deference he showed the dictator Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and the overtures he has made to Cuba and the hateful regimes in the Middle East. Soetoro’s choices for many of his key cabinet positions are steeped with tax evaders and Chicago thugs and political hacks.

Pushing an obvious hoaxes or immoral causes such as funding foreign abortions through the reversal of the Mexico City policy and the funding of unethical destruction of embryos in the unproven and unproductive research, and the economy-killing carbon tax proposal. Wasteful government spending for earmarks and political payoffs is beyond the pale. In addition, the fact that he has not produced his birth certificate, to date, is an obvious indication that he is hiding something. That something could very well be that he is NOT even a native-born citizen of the United States as required of the person holding the office of President, but, in fact, was born in Kenya.

KEEP YOUR CHANGE

What is true, however, is that Soetoro (alias Obama) is seeking to bring change to America. Yes, it is the transformation of our democratic republic into a socialist state. He is moving to nationalize our industries. Yet, he refuses to do his duty, to secure our borders. The change he champions during his campaign , I believe, were misrepresented by him and misunderstood by the vast majority of people who cast their misguided votes for this interloper.

MANIPULATING THE TRUTH

The TEA Parties, which took place on 4/15/09, mark the end of the honeymoon. All of the actions of the Democratic lead government must now be resisted at every step. Just like the opposition media’s coverage (or better, non-coverage or manipulation of the 'news') of the Tax Day TEA Parties and the associated growing movement. This blatantly bias coverage of the new can-do-no-wrong president is tantamount to media malpractice. The opposition cannot be trusted at all. We must obtain our news from alternative sources such as OneNewsNow.com or WorldNetDaily.com or NewsBusters.com or other conservative sources which will present a more truthful perspective.

I think that this AP “news” story, which is the subject of this post, is just a propaganda piece by orchestrated by the opposition media of which AP is a vital component. It typifies the trash being produced by the journalists turned political activists. The opposition media is essentially the public relations arm of the Democratic party elite. The agenda of the oppmedia (Obama’s publicity pimps, or the opposition media – ABC, AP, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NY Times, PBS, etc.), is to protect their 'glorious' messiah, who is rapidly leading America destructively to socialism and eventually to a socialist global utopia.

ABSURDISTAN (AGC …) The inexperienced, inept, teleprompted, globalist, and globe trotting president stopped in Turkey today and made some very, frankly, stupid and insulting remarks about America. The husband of the 40-something woman, who herself said, during the presidential campaign when the Democrats began to rally around the then Illinois Senator, “For the first time in my life I am proud of my country,” berated America himself saying she (America) was not a Christian nation.

NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION?

What audacity this possible usurper to the highest office of the land has. Wallowing chin deep in political correctness, diversity and multiculturalism this extreme liberal rejects the fact that America was birthed as a Christian nation and remains one, if now in name only. He is a historic revisionist.

Like his predecessor, George W. Bush, Soetoro (alias Obama) would agree that Islam is a ‘religion of peace.’ It is no such thing. Read the Koran. Watch what happens in Sharia-law based ‘moderate’ Islamic countries to persons who change their religion or who reject Islam – they literally lose their heads.

Wherever Islam is spread Sharia law is imposed. Sharia law is steadfastly intolerant of any other religion or form of government to the point of death.

Where was the outcry of Muslim nations at what the Islamic terrorists – probably funded by Islamic money – did in New York on September 11, 2001? The silence was deafening. Instead, the peace-loving Palestinians were pictured celebrating the great Satan’s deserved attack.

Listen to some of what Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) declared in his “I luv Muslims” speech that he gave in Turkey on Monday:

I disagree, we are at war with fundamental Islam as practiced by all individuals, groups or nations which practice Sharia Law and hold to a literal interpretation of the Koran. To these individuals or entities, Islam is a hateful, intolerant form of government; it is not even a true religion.

”But I also want to be clear that America’s relationship with the Muslim work cannot and will not be based on opposition to al Qaeda. Far from it. We seek broad engagement based upon mutual interests and mutual respect. We will listen carefully, bridge misunderstanding, and seek common ground. We will be respectful, even when we do not agree. And we will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better – including my own country. The United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans . . .”

What does Soetoro (alias Obama) mean when he speaks of the “Muslim work?” Does he mean the spread or imposition of this so-called religion? Mr. President, you do not speak for me regarding Americans who have “a deep appreciation for the Islamic faith.” I don’t. I consider Islam to be a false and dangerous religion and form of government. What about the accouterments of Islam, such as:

· Honor killing?
· Merciless killing of Jews and Christians and other infidels through the centuries? · Using women and children in terrorist bombings?
· Revenge killing of any who dishonor the Koran or the false prophet, Mohammed?
Are these areas of broad agreement and respect?

What can the people benefiting from the God-given rights and freedoms enumerated in the United States Constitution in the land of opportunity have in common with a hateful, oppressive Sharia Law based on Islam? Nothing, Mr. President, wake up, sir and smell the freedom!

It would have been better for Soetoro (Obama) to have said nothing than to have opened his teleprompted mouth on this subject.

BOUND BY WHOSE IDEALS & VALUES?

What exactly does Soetoro (Obama) mean when he says America is bound by ideals and a set of values? Is he projecting his own radical beliefs, ideals, and values onto America because he won the election, albeit with the massive help of tainted Soros money, disrupted and corrupt ACORN tactics, and activist media malpractice? Are we bound by Marxism, socialism, fostering a welfare state, acceptance of irresponsibility, restricted academic freedom, secular-humanism, pro-death, and pro-homosexuality? Are these the things to which he is referring? If he is, the vast majority of American reject these “ideals” and “values.” He was elected on the basis of the ‘hope’ and ‘change’ that he deceptively promised.

(Absurdistan) Every now and again you come across a story so outrageous, so unbelievable, so pathetic, so galling that sounds so unconscionable that you just have to sit back and say, "Wow." This is one of them.

"WORLD leaders provoked an outcry after they had a six-course lunch followed by an eight-course dinner at the G8 summit where the global food crisis tops the agenda.

Hours earlier British prime minister Gordon Brown was urging the world to reduce the "unnecessary demand'' for food and calling on British families to stop wasting food.

"Mr Brown and his wife Sarah were among 15 guests at the "blessings of the earth and the sea social dinner'', which consisted of 18 dishes in eight courses including caviar, smoked salmon, Kyoto beef and a 'G8 fantasy dessert' . . .

"African leaders, including the heads of Ethiopia, Tanzania and Senegal, who had taken part in talks during the day, were not invited to the function . . .

.

"The lavish dining arrangements -- disclosed by the Japanese government which is hosting the summit in Hokkaido -- came at a time of concern over rising food prices triggered by a shortage of many basic necessities . . ."

"Dominic Nutt of Save the Children said: "It is deeply hypocritical that they should be lavishing course after course on world leaders when there is a food crisis and millions cannot afford a decent meal to eat . . ."

Isn't it just appalling? This is an excellent example of elitism hypocrisy. How in the world can you justify such extravagance when the subject of your conference deals with hunger crisis? Do the leaders have no sensitivity or appreciation of the true needs of the majority of starving people in impoverished areas of the world? To add insult to injury the leaders snub their invited African guests. Any good that may have been accomplished at the G8 summit was negated by this most insulting display of indifference, pomp, pretentiousness and and insensitivity.
