Ted Cruz, A Bigger Danger than Donald Trump, Really?

I saw an article today published by the radical leftist website, AlterNet. I was intrigued by the title, "5 Reasons Ted Cruz Is Even More Dangerous Than Donald Trump, Both men would be disasters for America, but Cruz would be the bigger disaster." I have disagreed with almost everything I have ready by the author, Robert Reich.

The following is an excerpt from the article,

1. He’s more fanatical. Trump is a bully and bigot but doesn’t hew to any sharp ideological line. Cruz is a fierce ideologue: He denies the existence of man-made climate change, rejects same-sex 'marriage', wants to abolish the Internal Revenue Service, believes the 2nd amendment guarantees everyone a right to guns, doesn’t believe in a constitutional divide between church and state, favors the death penalty, opposes international agreements, embraces a confrontational foreign policy, rejects immigration reform, demands the repeal of “every blessed word of Obamacare,” and takes a strict “originalist” view of the meaning of the Constitution.

Robert "You're Almost Never" Reich, here is what I think…

1. Surprisingly your description of Senator Ted Cruz in your first point is fairly accurate and exactly my position as well. However, you claim that Sen. Cruz "rejects immigration reform." More accurately, he rejects amnesty if that is what you call "immigration reform." Unlike the current occupier of the White House Sen. Cruz will enforce the current immigration laws, secure our borders, crackdown on illegals overstaying their visas , etc ... Reform comes later.

2. You state that Sen. Cruz "detests the federal government." No, he opposes the Washington Cartel, the amalgamation of politicians on both side of the aisle which are tied to crony capitalists joined at the hip to lobbyists, the Chamber of Commerce, all working in tandem for an ever-expanding federal government and bureaucracy. He opposes the federal government doing more than the constitution’s enumerated powers… He opposes the increasing deficit and national debt triggered in large part by the largesse of the federal government.

5. You make the crazy assertion that Sen. Cruz “is a loner who’s willing to destroy institutions.” On the contrary he is adamant about protecting and preserving the Constitution, Religious Liberty, the sanctity of the institution of marriage, Gun Rights, the Rule of Law, the intact natural family…

You seem to disparage Sen. Cruz saying, “Most of his Republican colleagues in the Senate detest him.” I mark this as a badge of courage. He has principles that he is unwilling to relinquish. The Democrats and the RINOs in the Senate perpetuate an entrenched status quo. Yes, Sen. Cruz bucks the system. The system needs a swift kick!

I do agree with you Mr. Reich that Trump would be a disaster. Like President Obama, Trump would be an unmitigated disaster. However, Senator Cruz, on the other hand, would be an instrument of renewal, resurgence of American exceptionalism and an antidote for the perversity governance both political parties have foisted upon us these past 8 to 10 years.

CHARACTER FLAWS

To a large extent the current content of the character of America is embodied by what we have accepted or allowed to exist in our society: Abortion; Same-Sex "Marriage"; Pornography; No-Fault Divorce; Fornication; Adultery; Homosexuality; Lesbianism; Pedophilia; Greed; Deceit; Slander; etc.

IS THIS PROGRESS?

Wake Up America and smell the "progress" we've made over the last 10 years. Many of the things noted above have intensified or become normal and acceptable. Thanks to an interwoven web of decadent trends and evil forces, namely:

* lawless Presidents,
* activist unaccountable bureaucrats and Courts,
* a corrupt & ineffectual Congress,
* increasingly immoral & tasteless Entertainment;
* an apathetic, disengaged, apostate Church
* burgeoning taxpayer-financed Abortion Businesses;
* a degraded decadent Academia;
* a violated Constitution;
* ignored, but growing threat of Islam-inspired terrorism, home & abroad;
* a socially engineered & weakened Military;
* an undeterred invasion of Illegal Aliens;

and these are just the highlights - we head speedily toward permeant residence on the ash heap of history. But as a people, we've got pretty much of what we wanted and what we deserved the last 2 or 3 elections.

A CROSSROAD

Now we face another crossroads. Do we continue riding on the speeding train to nowhere, or do we stop the train and correct the course by getting it on the right track? Do we aggressively work to undo the deliberate damage of 8 years of the perverse progressive agenda of Valerie Jarrett and Barrack Obama?

As unwillingly as I would like to admit, Jarrett and Obama have been highly successful in what they set out to accomplish, the fundamental transformation of America. They have had virtually no opposition from the Republicans, put in power by the TEA Party and other patriots with the promise that the GOP would resist and counter the leftist President and his socialist endeavors. No such thing occurred. In fact, the GOP is very much complicit for the state of our union is in today, for essentially sitting on the sideline and doing nothing of any significance. John Boehner and Mitch McConnell ranting and raving didn't accomplish much. It's action that speaks louder, and it's action that was missing!

The world and America are in more turmoil than before Obama (bO). The country is more polarized than bO. Our economy and real unemployment are in worse shape than bO. Our society and culture are significantly more corrupt than bO (same-sex "marriage," refusal to enforce laws (DOMA, immigration) failure to prosecute lawbreakers by the Department of (in)Justice such criminals as Lois Lerner, Hillary Clinton, tax evader and race-baiter Al Sharpton, etc.) 

WHAT'S NEXT?

So what will America do, assuming we survive Mr. Obama's final fling at jackhammering its foundations? Two things are necessary: Judeo-Christian inspired revival and the election of a true Reaganesque Conservative President and more Constitution-abiding Congress persons to fortify those already there. The next election may be our last unless 2016 is a year of fundamental transformation of We the People!

Is Burger King's 'Homosexual/Lesbian' Promoting Rainbow Wrapper Harmless?

The author of a recent article that appears on the radically leftist website, AlterNet.com entitled, " Seven Silly Things Right-Wingers Got Angry About Last Week," contends:

* Condoning and promoting homosexuality is HARMLESS...

* Perverting the institution of marriage and undermining the cultural foundation of the family via same-sex 'marriage' is HARMLESS...

* Being concerned about the health risks and hazards being introduced with the invasion of illegal aliens and their accompanying physical, mental and vast health issues into this country is HARMLESS... not to mention the HARMLESS tattooed drug-infested gang members and Islamic terrorists who are also slithering into America preparing to reek havoc on the legal citizens and foundations of America...

* The foolish embracing and ignoring the mind numbing, mind-killing, life-altering and intoxicating affect of marijuana on children and people by the efforts of activists in Colorado and other states it is HARMLESS...

This article is outrageous and the ideas manifested therein are extremely foolish and gravely HARMFUL to us all...

After I placed the above comment to the article on the AlterNet website the following comment was made and I responded...

Huh!

I disagree with you, Mr. "Ignore the Truth."

Both the Burger King Corporation and the AlterNet article author are propagandizing how innocent and innocuous homosexual behavior is. It is not without harmful consequences to those involved and to society as a whole. For one thing, my tax dollars have to fund the health care consequences of many of those who partake in this deviant behavior... Our schools, too, shamefully are embracing and promoting it as a normal and natural alternative. It is not.

The author further tries to show or justify how un-hurtful the unlawful illegal invasion is, and as well as negligently ignoring any downside of the use of marijuana for recreational purposes.

So what is same-sex ‘marriage’ all about anyway?

There is no such thing as same-sex ‘marriage.’ Marriage is defined as a relationship between one man and one woman. I don't understand what all the noise is about.

 

Marriage has been an institution since before our nation began. It is only recently that that definition, in some places, has been perverted to include same-sex homosexual or lesbian partners. It is not only unnatural, unhealthy, abnormal and immoral, but perverting the definition of marriage undermines the very foundation - the family unit - upon which this nation, this society was built. In other words, same-sex 'marriage' is a fraud, a fake, a false imitation of the real thing.

 

This much manipulated and invented controversy is much to do about nothing. America should not succumb to the attempt by the moneyed and powerful Homosexual-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgendered lobby and advocates to redefine marriage or to embrace or to normalize those deviant environmentally influenced behavioral and lifestyle situations or choices. People have freewill; they can choose to behave in any manner they choose, but they should not foist their deviancy on others especially our children...

 

Homosexuals and Lesbians "have the ability to 'marry' in some states. The operative word is "marry." It may be legal, but that does not make it right. True marriage is reserved for one-man and one-woman relationships. Marriage cannot be redefined. It has stood the test of time, since before the birth of the United States. Since Roe v. Wade in 1973 mothers, likewise, can in many cases kill their pre-born babies up until birth. That may be legal, but it remains morally reprehensible. The Supreme Court was fallible in Roe v. Wade and will make another big mistake if they overturn California's Proposition 8 or declare the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) to be unconstitutional.

 

Laws of nature do not change. Gravity does not change. In a civilized society such fundamental institutions like marriage and family do not change.

 

The much repeated mantra, "People are born [homosexual/lesbian]," is an atrocious lie. Homosexuality and Lesbianism is the result of social and environmental factors as well as in choice in behavior and lifestyle.

 

The lie is being told over and over in the media and in our schools and by politicians and even some religious. Still its mere repetition does not make it right. The sky is green, the sky is green, and the sky is green. The sky no matter if the whole world believes that it is green, the reality is that it remains blue.

 

Janet Porter argues, rightly, in the video, "It's About Freedom," that "by trampling on marriage homosexual activists want to reshape the culture into something we won't even recognize."

The Marriage Destroyers

Marriage is an institution, a sacred one at that. True marriage can only be between one man and one woman. This has been true in America since its founding. Only recently has a perversion of the definition of marriage been attempted and even permitted to occur in some states.

Should same-sex couples be allowed to marry?  Same-sex individuals can marry without question, people of the opposite sex. It is a fallacy that same-sex individuals can't marry. However, the term or definition of marriage itself is under attack. The Left is well versed at twisting and perverting the definition of words, look at the hideous expression "a woman's right to choose" meaning a mother's absolute right to kill her unborn child!

Marriage between one-man and one-woman is the standard. Marriage is the exclusive domain of one-man and one-woman relationships; it has been since the founding of this nation. Only recently has this sacred institution been attacked and perverted in some places.  I reiterate, there is no such thing as same-sex marriage. Same-sex ‘marriage’ is a faux imitation of the real thing.

The fraudulent same-sex 'marriage’ movement is clearly the result of an effective propaganda barrage by radical homosexuals and lesbians, their advocates, and other comrades-in-harm. These activists and supporters are intent on destroying the very fabric of American society and culture, the natural family. Those working against the culture include the media, the entertainment industry and many politicians, who seek to benefit from the filthy lucre of those who bankroll this vicious anti-marriage movement.

SCOTUS: Which will it be, Quality Marriage or (Fraudulent Same-Sex) 'Marriage' Equality?

Repealing Proposition 8 and DOMA by the Supreme Court, which begins to hear oral arguments tomorrow, will not promote 'marriage equality.' It will destroy it. Marriage, its integrity and its sacredness, is at risk.

This week the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments for fraudulent same-sex ‘marriage’ against the wishes of the voters of California’s Proposition 8, and for the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). Repeal of either issue would only further a major destructive plank of the left’s agenda, which is a driving issue of those who want to mainstream homosexual behavior and lifestyle. Homosexual behavior remains unhealthy, unnatural, immoral, and primarily a behavioral choice.

Clearly Moses in the first five books of the Judeo-Christian Bible documented God’s disapproval of all sexual relationships outside the bounds of one man - one woman monogamous marriage including adultery, fornication, homosexuality, all immorality. Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian values and principles. Violation of these principles will weaken the very fabric of our nation, the family (man, woman and children) unit. God cannot and will not continue to bless a nation that forsakes Him and His guiding principles. Absolutely, the stakes are enormous for true quality marriage and for America!

Not only will fraudulent same-sex ‘marriage’ undermine the institution of marriage, it will also undermine our society. I care about America continuing to become further morally bankrupt by not only accepting homosexuality as normal, natural, healthy lifestyle choice but embracing and promoting it in the government indoctrination centers, our godless secular humanistic dominated schools. Homosexual behavior is unnatural, unhealthy, abnormal and immoral. Like the practice of abortion, it may be legal but it is still morally reprehensible to kill a developing human being. SCOTUS was tragically wrong in the Roe v. Wade case, God willing, they’ll make the right decision in the Prop 8 and DOMA cases.

The family unit – mother, father, and children - was designed to provide the optimum opportunity for a child to develop and grow to their full potential. There is no substitute for the intact natural family. Usually single parents or homosexual and lesbian couples cannot provide the environment to properly nourish children as nature intended. That is one of the biggest arguments against same-sex ‘marriage’.

Homosexuals and lesbians have the same right to marry individuals of the opposite sex as all Americans do. However, they just can’t marry the same sex. To say they cannot marry is wrong. Marriage is intended ONLY for male and female relationships. It is a standard that has worked for thousands of years.

Not allowing same-sex partners special privileges is not discrimination, like discrimination against blacks, women, the disabled or the aged. Why? Because homosexuality is predominately a behavioral choice, whereas being black, being female, being disabled, or being old is unchangeable. People can change their behavior; they can’t change their skin color… You insult blacks when you claim it is discrimination not to allow homosexuals to have special privileges or to be treated differently than any other people.
