Wally Show is False Christianity

Last week I turned something upside-down.  It is my WAKW 93.3 window sticker which says "Pointing the Way to the One!"

A few months ago, Star 93.3, a Christian radio station in Cincinnati, replaced their local radio show with the “Wally Show”.  At first I found Wally to be quite annoying.  But then I could see that not only was he annoying, but he was just another phony Christian, possibly a "Tony Campolo" disciple.

One caller called in and said that she did not punish her daughter for committing promiscuity but only advised her not to do it.  Not only did Wally praise her for this decision, but he went further and said that we should not rebuke people when they sin.  He said that Jesus never rebuked anybody for anything.  Wally obviously doesn't know the Jesus of the Bible.  Not only that, but he contradicts himself.  (He rebukes people for rebuking!)  There seems to be this strange lack of critical thinking everywhere you go.  You can’t get away from it.

But despite this, I kept listening to Star 93.3 in the morning, on my way to work.  After all, it is still a family friendly station.  Well, then one day Wally criticized the “protesters” of that strip joint that has been getting some publicity lately.  He said that it wasn't doing any good, and pointed out that the strippers had responded by picketing the church that the “protesters” represented.  But that was not what irked me.  Wally asked for suggestions as to what should be done instead of this “protesting” that would be more like what Jesus would have done (or something to that effect).  A caller suggested that they offer to babysit the children of the strippers while they work the strip bar.  Wally agreed and said that that was exactly what he was thinking.  That was the last straw for me.

It’s not that I think that we shouldn't love our enemies and do good to those persecute us.  (And strippers do persecute us Christians because they tempt to commit sins which lead to eternal damnation.  See Matthew 5:27-29.)  But enabling them or supporting what they are doing is an entirely different matter.  Can you imagine looking after a woman’s children while their doing that which is spiritual homicide?  This is unacceptable and disgusting.

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV)

An acceptable suggestion would be to help the women to find real jobs.  You could give to them tips on how to write a résumé, give them clothes that would be good for a job interview, etc.  You wouldn't even have to have any strings attached to this “clothing of naked”.  But Wally seems to be satisfied with the status quo of the dirty business of the strip club.   As long as it looks like we are doing something that “Jesus would have done” in the minds of the mindless, he is satisfied.  What a hypocrite!

I have stopped listening to Wally’s morning show.  I know that this does not hurt him at all.  That is not the reason for the change.  People like him make me angry.  He especially makes me angry because he claims to be a Christian and thus drags the Name of Jesus through filth.  And there is just no point in listening someone who makes you angry.  The Bible teaches that we should focus on the good.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8 (KJV)

Rick Perry Is Being Groomed to Be the Next President by New World Order

All the evangelicals are swooning over Rick Perry just because he said a few religious words.  Mark my words, he is the establishment candidate.  He is the next Barack Obama.  He is the one to beat.  He supports the NAFTA super-highway and forcing young girls to get vaccinated against sexually transmitted diseases.  He does nothing while Mexican drug gangs come and go across the border and murder police officers.  A former Democrat, he was the Texas state campaign chairman to elect Al Gore in 1988.  Whenever "Slick Rick" Perry is confronted with an issue (like blocking the very popular anti-groping law), he claims that he agrees with you, but then claims ignorance and blames someone else.  He is a liar.  He is the one you need to convince your friends NOT to vote for (this is imperative!) along with pretenders like Cain, Santorum, and Pawlenty.  Mark my words, Mitt Romney is not "the one".  He will fade into obscurity or drop out near the end like last time.  For more of Rick Perry's dirty tricks, see my earlier post in support of another Republican who ran against him for governor.

Debra Medina and the BrokeBeck Mountain

Despite his seeming opposition to same-sex marriage on the basis that it would create a slippery slope towards polygamy (which at one time his Mormon religion endorsed), he has finally shown his true (Rainbow Coalition) colors and admitted his desire to perform a sex act on Rick Perry!

Glenn Beck is gay???!!!

Wow, why is he being so tough on Medina, he was never this hard on Ron Paul. Could it be because she's a woman???!!!

Or maybe he’s just a Tea-O-Con. Even if he was just joking, it is a filthy, sick joke for which he should be condemned, not to mention his spineless attack on the upright Mrs. Medina. You know that this is hypocrisy if you’ve seen GB’s comments against Scott Brown’s speech in which he announced that his daughters were available. Go ahead and laugh it up, Beck. You’ll be sorry when your neocon friends turn on you. The 911 Truth issue has nothing to do with a race for governor of Texas.

If you listen to the video you will hear that the dialogue actually went like this:

GLENN: I have when I said that I was going to have you on, you can't imagine the mail pro and con that I received. There was a theme that ran against you and that is you are a 9/11 Truther. (This was a lie.)

MEDINA:
Well, there's lots of mud that people would like to throw at Debra Medina and make stick. The truth is I'm an everyday ordinary person. I am fighting for the things that our founders fought for, those very basic principles of a constitutional republic, and I'm going to champion people that hold their government accountable, hold me accountable but that's the first time I've heard that accusation. So that's an interesting one.

GLENN:
Right. Here's then let me be more frank and ask you the question: Do you believe the government was any way involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers on 9/11?

MEDINA: I don't, I don't have all of the evidence there, Glenn. So I don't I'm not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So I've not taken a position on that.

GLENN:
I think the people of America might think that might be a yes.

MEDINA:
Well

GLENN:
Do you have advisors, do you have advisor

MEDINA:
I'm not going to take a position.

GLENN:
That's fine.

MEDINA:
These questions have been raised and they are not answered.

GLENN:
Do you have advisors that advise you or people that are around you that are 9/11 Truthers?

MEDINA:
Not to my knowledge.

GLENN:
Would you, if you found out that there were, would you disavow them like the president should have but I mean, he escorted them out in the middle of the night. Van Jones was a 9/11 Truther. If you found out that people around you are advising you were 9/11 Truthers, would you disavow them or allow them to continue to advise you?

MEDINA:
Well, you know, that's a federal issue. We're very focused on issues in Texas, on Texas state government. I'm certainly not into mind control or thought policing people.

Then Beck proceeded to play a dirty trick on Medina by speaking into the microphone so that only the audience could hear him saying, “OK, you’ve answered the question.” So then Medina kept going on about it and she was made to look like a fool. Here is Mrs. Medina's response afterwards:

So Glenn Beck is going back the tax raising, NAFTA Superhighway building neocon Rick Perry and is even willing to play dirty tricks for him.
