I read this Alternet.org article, “The
Right Wing Cult Machine Exposed, People are
waking up and recognizing the far right-wing media for what it is, and the
dangers it poses to this country.” It was deeply
flawed and I commented extensively on the article.
First, I addressed the
overall premise of the article. That premise is that there exists a right-wing
cult led by conservative radio host and main antagonist of liberals in America, Rush Limbaugh.
Substitute
"Left-Wing Cult" and "Barack Obama" for “Right-Wing Cult” and
“Rush Limbaugh” throughout this article and you will see exactly how
Progressivism/Liberalism is poisoning America today.
Low
Information Voters put their cult figure, their messiah, into office not once,
but twice.
How
else could this man, a radical Marxist like Obama, be President? He could not
be President without the complicity and creation of the cultist subservient
Main Stream Media (ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, NPR, NY Times, etc.), the
Leftists that dominate Hollywood and Academia? Tragically, the Press refused to
be objective or to vet him or criticize him during the process of his two
elections.
Secondly, I commented on
the author’s pronouncements of the righteousness of the current main stream and
progressive media. This is what really concerned me the most.
In the author’s commentary
about the Main Stream Media (the dominate Leftist/Progressive Media which
includes most of broadcast and cable television: ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN,
PBS, NPR, etc) at the conclusion of his article. He makes these atrocious and revealing
remarks:

The
real media (ie., the Liberal/Progressive) media is not cult-like. NO, INDEED, WORSHIPING AND GIVING UNFLAGGING SUPPORT OF THEIR MESSIAH, BARACK OBAMA, IS
NOT CULTIST WORSHIP IS IT?
·
The
real media (Liberal/Progressive) media talks about ideas that are widely
accepted (social safety net, clean environment, nondiscrimination, a solid
middle class), and that are not in conflict with the rest of society.
SAFETY NET = EXPANDING AND PRESERVING WELFARE, INCREASED FOOD STAMPS,
INCREASED UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS WITH NO WAY TO PAY FOR IT WITH REVENUE COMING
INTO THE GOVERNMENT;
CLEAN ENVIRONMENT = PERPETUATING
THE MAN-CAUSED GLOBAL WARMING HOAX, IGNORING THE SCANDALOUS CRONY CAPITALISM
(SOLYNDRA, FISKER MOTORS, ETC.). AND THE OUT-OF-CONTROL EPA WITH ITS BURDENSOME
REGULATIONS THWARTING DEVELOPMENT;
NONDISCRIMINATION = SEEKING TO
LEGITIMATIZE, NORMALIZE HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR IN ALL ASPECTS OF SOCIETY EVEN IF
IT MEANS CREATING A SPECIAL PRIVILEGED CLASS;
A SOLID MIDDLE CLASS =
DISCRIMINATING AGAINST THE WEALTHY CAUSING THEM TO PAY FOR THE WELFARE
STATE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MIDDLE CLASS… THERE A GREAT NUMBER OF PEOPLE
OPPOSED TO EXPANDING WELFARE, EXPANDING ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS, SAME-SEX
‘MARRIAGE’ AND REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH THROUGH ‘FAIR SHARE’ TAXATION.

that Tea Party participants, Conservatives, and Christians are gaining control
of the GOP and much of the political discourse in America. THEY FEAR THAT THE
MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WANT TO CONTINUE TRADITIONAL VALUES INCLUDING FREE
ENTERPRISE AND ONE-MAN, ONE-WOMAN MARRIAGE, AND SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE FROM
WOMB TO TOMB.
The author refuses to
acknowledge that there exists an obvious bias in the Main Stream Media toward
increasingly and incessantly propagandizing the full agenda of the radical
left.
