In order to stop the decline and destruction of America, this November we must purge the Congress of Reid and hundreds of other incumbents who have been bent on tearing down the foundations of freedom on which this nation was built. Reid has enthusiastically supported everyone of the president's policies and programs, including most notably Obamacare and the so-called Stimulus Package helping to make them law.

Remember in November, start with firing Harry Reid just like what happened to fellow Democrat Senate Majority Leader and tax cheat Tom Daschle in 2004.

Overturning Proposition 8 Has US Marching Toward Oblivion

TYRANNICAL ACTIVIST JUDGES LEAD THE CHARGE

The recent decision made by an openly and activist homosexual federal judge, Vaughn Walker, in California overturning the State Constitutional Amendment defining marriage as the exclusive preview of one man and one woman is extremely significant. I heard Family Research Council President Tony Perkins comment on this case and ruling yesterday on American Family Radio’s Today’s Issues program. Here is an excerpt of his poignant critique, which cautioned America not to take this ruling lightly, but to consider its long lasting ramifications.

“This is an opinion of a federal court that, if it is allowed to stand, is binding as law on America. And it sets judicial precedent … If this does not outrage you and you are not incensed over what this judge has done, and what this will do to our country … there is something wrong with you!

“This is a deadly attack on America. This will undercut the family even further from what our bad public policy has done over the last 40 years. This will not only silence the church and its ability to speak the truth, this will change the course of human history and move us so rapidly down the slippery slope that we won’t know what hit us.”

Mr. Perkins is correct. The 9^th circus court of appeals has stayed same-sex marriage until it takes up the case in November. It wouldn’t be at all surprising to me that when the court meets it will rule on the side of Judge Walker and homosexual and lesbian advocates for same-sex ‘marriage.’ By the way, marriage in any context outside of one-man, one-woman marriage is oxymoronic, not to mention it is immoral and unlawful in God’s eyes and any civilized society.

Once the appellate court concurs with Judge Walker’s decision, it will be further upheld by the Kennedy factor tipping the decision in favor a verdict as disturbing and destructive as Roe v. Wade. It will serve as the death knell for America. It is the final nail in our coffin. Prepare to me your Maker, Judge Walker, Judge Kennedy and all my fellow Americans!

We need to get rid of Kagen.  No, I’m not talking about Elena Kagan, the recently appointed U.S. Supreme Court justice.  (Although we do need to get rid her too.)  I am talking about Steven Kagen, the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin’s 8^th congressional district.  Representative Kagen voted for the bailouts, the healthcare bill, “Cap and Trade”, “Cash for Clunkers” and he voted against prohibiting funding for overseas abortions.  He voted for sexual orientation based hate crimes legislation, ENDA, and voted to repeal the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy to prevent gays from openly serving in the military.

The best hope for a real conservative to defeat Kagen is Terri McCormick.  Terri is pro-life and pro-second amendment. She supports a flat tax, securing our borders, and a full audit of the Federal Reserve.  She opposes earmarks, the Patriot Act, the REAL ID Act, and using our military to police the world.   She supports school choice, public charter schools, and voucher programs, and homeschooling.

Getting Around the Ban on Earmarks

When the Pharisees criticized Jesus’ disciples for not washing their hands before eating, Jesus pointed out that their hypocrisy.  He said, “Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Just as the Pharisees nullified the Law of God, today there are modern-day Pharisees who have no respect for the rule of law and will break any law for money or power if they can get away with it.  My employer gives its employees advice about how to stick it to taxpayers in a bad economy.  I got this email in my inbox.

FYI- Below is an article from today's New York Times about for-profit companies seeking university partnerships and, in some cases, non-profit status to get around the ban on earmarks to for-profit companies.  Several OH earmarks from [Democrat] Rep. Kaptur are used as examples.  If this ban continues there will be more pressure on our faculty to participate in these types of "partnerships" although in the majority of these projects, as they describe in the article, the university is only used as a pass through for the funds.

Incompetency, inexperience and ideologue are the main characteristics of the current occupier of the White House. Make no mistake, the mastermind(s) behind the Ground Zero Mosque have one purpose for building their 13 story mega monstrosity at ground-zero - to insult America and to gain a foothold here and abroad to honor their 'conquest' of the Great Satan on her own soil. Unfortunately, the President is the great facilitator of this shameful destruction project. See him deliver these damning words. Below the video are the President's words in bold. My comments are in italics within the brackets.

The writ of the Founders must endure [As opposed to your teleprompted script].”

Essentially President Soetoro alias Obama figuratively slapped all Americans in the face with his endorsement and blessing of the Ground-Zero Mosque. This brief video taken at the Ramadan supper with fellow Muslims is evidence of his priorities and his allegiance. It should wake up all Americans to say enough is enough come November.

Remember in November the President and his party’s disdain for America and upon the Christian principles on which it was founded.

New $26 Mil Stimulus Bailout Bill for Teachers called ‘Cash for Flunkers’

I received this item from Newsmax.com in an email, "House Minority Leader John Boehner has suggested several names for the new stimulus bill Democrats rammed through Congress last week none of them complimentary.”

This completely unnecessary, foolhardy, and highly charged Pelosi promised political payoff (the latest so-called stimulus bill) was geared primarily to buy or save votes of thousands of teachers and state employees. The bill was forced through the House so quickly that it didn’t even have a name. But CNSNews reported that Republicans said the bill is an election-year gift to teachers and public workers unions.

Newsmax.com also quoted House Minority Leader Boehner as saying about the newest bailout legislation, “A nameless bill for a hopeless cause is a fitting metaphor for a Democratic Congress that refuses to listen to the American people and abandon its job-killing agenda.”

He offered a few priceless specific suggestions. Here are some. I underscored my favorites.

· Save Our “Stimulus” (SOS) Act

· “Recovery Summer” Bailout Act (Cash for Flunkers)

· Delivering Unions a Major Boost (DUMB) Act

· Helping Election Expenditures, Hurting American Workers (HEEHAW) Act

· Rescuing Incumbent Democrats Is Costly (RIDIC) Act

· Summertime Cash for Union Bosses Instead of Spending Cuts for Taxpayers Act

· Frivolous Act of Ineffective Largesse (FAIL) Act

· Naming These Things Hasn't Gotten Us Anywhere, So Why Bother Act

Another bill title might be, "Step-Daughter of Stimulus Act," in acknowledgement to harried and hurried Speaker Pelosi's draconian measure.

November cannot come soon enough. We have to stop the bleeding by these persons with their destructive socialist agenda, which is wrecking and reeking havoc on the nation and its economy.

Dear Honorable Senator Cornyn,

I disagree with your statement, which you made in your fundraising letter “… the Democrats’ misguided plan of retreat and defeat in the War on terror.” The destruction of the people of the United States and their subsequent enslavement under a tyrannical ruler is, in fact their goal. Remember, Nikita Khrushchev said, “We will bury you.” He, since he made that ominous statement, got saved, became a born-again Christian, and went to heaven. However, the rest of the “We” are remain with us.

The Democrats and others are essentially allies of the terrorists and of Islam and of the Communists. They are the enemy of all who love Jesus Christ and honor Him. Obama is a Muslim and a Communist, who follows after his father, Satan. He is on the side of the terrorists. The President has proclaimed the United States to no longer be a Christian Nation, but rather “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world,” and he showed himself subservient to the King of Saudi Arabia bowing low as if to honor a man who aides and abets the enemies of America.

They are working to make this nation a godless America.

They have devised ways of pilfering funds from the United States Treasury in the support of their socialist agenda. They are like a parasite on the nation.

Bush, Clinton, Bush, and now Soetoro alias Obama and the major political parties and leadership have all been derelict in their duty to provide security, namely secure borders, on behave of this nation's citizens. They have failed by ignoring their responsibility.

It seems like the government is more interested in meddling or in running automobile companies education, healthcare, and banks, which are not in its jurisdiction, but refuses to provide national security by guarding our borders, which is one its chief duties. Something is wrong with this picture.

John Boehner Suggests Changing the 14th Amendment

CNN reports Ohio congressman John Boehner has suggested amending the Constitution to repeal the portion of the 14th amendment which gives citizenship to all are born in the United States.  The reason is that those born to illegal immigrants should not automatically become U.S. citizens.

We don't need to amend to Constitution for two reasons.  The clause under scrutiny only applies to those "subject to their (the United States') jurisdiction".  Secondly, the 14th amendment was not properly ratified.

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get intoGod's Word.  Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th chapter of Genesis, we'll begin our reading at verse 13, and gothrough verse 27. 
Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us? .....(reading)... 
Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray.  So we see that economic hard times fell upon  Egypt , and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them.  And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built.  So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain.  And this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again. 
So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey -to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year. 
But the famine wasn't over, was it?  So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land.  Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land?  Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh."  So theysurrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain. 
What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters? 
That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider in hard times only leads to slavery?  Yes.. That the only reason government wants to be our provider is to also become our master? 
Yes. 
But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters!  Thus  Israel settled in the  land of  Egypt , in the  land of  Goshen .  And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly."  God provided for His people, just as He always has!  They didn't end up giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained possessions!  But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one. 
We see the same thing happening today - the government today wants to "share the wealth" once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us.  It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and what kind.  And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders. 
What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same.  And a lot of people like to call Mr.Obama a "Messiah," don't they?  Is he a Messiah?  A savior?  Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"? 
Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine; and Mr. OBAMA IS NO MESSIAH!  No, brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh. Bow with me in prayer, if you will... 
Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone.  We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day.." 
And Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation.  We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters.  Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government.

Elena Kagan Confirmation Vote

 With the exception of Ben Nelson, all of the Democrats voted to confirm Elena Kagan.  The Republicans had enough votes to deny the nomination.  So who were the turncoats?

Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Dick Lugar, Liberal Lindsey Graham, and Judd Gregg of New Hampshire

None of these losers are up for election this year.  Coincidence?

This debate is hilarious.  Hayworth and McCain keep on bashing each other, but they barely pay any attention to anything Jim Deakin says.  Every time Deakin pointed out that both Hayworth and McCain voted over and over again for unconstitutional bills, Hayworth would always change the subject (usually by attacking McCain).  Neither of them made any attempt to use the Constitution to justify their votes. 

The only thing that Hayworth could say against Deakin is that he is taking votes away from him so that McCain would win.  McCain wisely refrained from attacking Deakin, because it is clear to see that he is right.  Everybody laughed when McCain claimed that he didn’t vote for amnesty.  McCain made some flimsy excuse for voting against the Bush tax cuts.  (Technically he is right.  You can’t cut taxes and increase spending at the same time.  But McCain voted for very expensive bills himself so he has no right to complain about that.)

The only possible intelligent thing that Hayworth said in the debate was that Jacob Howard, the U.S. Senator who introduced the 14^th amendment into the Senate, made statements indicating that the meaning of the phrase “subject to the jurisdiction [of the United States]” would not include illegal aliens.  (This is a fact which I have not verified.  It was a member of the House, John Bingham, who actually wrote the damn thing.) 


When McCain and Hayworth were arguing about whose immigration plan was best, McCain pointed out that he could get things done--his bill passed, but Hayworth's didn't.  But Deakin wisely pointed out that there has been enough immigration legislation.  We only need to enforce the laws already on the books (but only the ones which are constitutional).  Everything else about the illegal immigration issue is hogwash.

All through the debate, Deakin fumbled over his words.  This was obviously because he was very nervous.  Toward the end, after McCain actually stuttered a bit, Deakin said, “You just did that to make me feel better.”  That was very clever and quick-witted.  A good joke can loosen you up and help you overcome nervousness. The only real mistake Deakin made was saying that Hayworth would have voted for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (the bailouts).  

I am not just endorsing Deakin because he is an underdog and not a Washington insider.  He is clearly has the truth on his side.  Congress has no authority to enact legislation if the power is not expressly delegated to it by the Constitution.  This is crystal clear to anyone who has read the Constitution with an open mind.  The tenth amendment says it all.  McCain and Hayworth had absolutely no defense for their unconstitutional votes because there is no defense for them!  All they could say is “you had better vote for me or the Obama agenda will continue” or they would list off their endorsements.  Jim, on the other hand, is a 9/12 candidate, but he did not even mention this in debate.  And despite the well-crafted question designed to discredit Deakin’s campaign by saying that the Tea Party wants him to quit because his campaign is costing Hayworth the election, several local Arizona Tea Party affiliates actually support Jim Deakin.
