LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO AMERICA!
Sodomy replaces Sovereignty
We did it Harry
Leftist's Christmas Present to the Military and to America
The Soetoro/Obama-Reid-Pelosi led American march to oblivion took a major advance with the 33-63 vote to defeat cloture of repeal of DADT, meaning to stop the Lame Duck Congress repeal of the more than lame ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ (DADT) policy now in effect in our Armed Services. The bad guys and evil won. First, they captured our Schools, then our Media, then many of our Industries, now they have captured our Military. Sodomy rules!
Even now as I write this article dealing with the painful reality of what has and will happen to our Military and our Society as a result of repealing DADT, the actual repeal is taking place. A ‘victory’ for the tenaciousness, but very-short-sighted, deluded, and ill advised Senator Lieberman, along with one minuscule, but moneyed culture and morality destroying advocacy group? Yes, but, at the same time a tragic loss for the American society, true biblical Christians and Christianity, and especially Christian military Chaplains.
‘Thanks’ for this tragic result goes to, at least in part, to immoderate Republicans who voted with the majority of Democrats:
· Scott Brown (MA) --- up for re-election 2012
· Mark Kirk (IL) --- up for re-election 2012
· George Voinovich (OH) --- retiring – thank God!
· Lisa Murkowski (AK) --- her 2010 election is still up in the air
· Susan Collins (ME) --- up for re-election 2014
· Olympia Snowe (ME) --- up for re-election 2012
Deserving equal ‘praise’ by being ‘no shows’ for the vote were:
· Jim Bunning (R-KY) --- retiring
· Judd Gregg (R-NH) --- retiring
· Orrin Hatch (R-UT) --- up for re-election 2012 ...
SO WHAT DO WE DO NOW?
Step 1 – Christians must repent and turn from their sins and petition God to spare our nation. Christians must fulfill our roles as salt and light in an increasing dimming and tasteless world.
Step 2 – Christians, Tea Party participants, and conservatives must identify and support potential candidates for the U.S. House and Senate. We would have needed only 4 out of the 9 so-called Republicans above who voted to end cloture to stop the repeal of DADT.
We must start by doing all we can to fire the following so-called Republicans who will be seeking continued employment in 2012:
· Scott Brown (MA)
· Orrin Hatch (R-UT)
· Mark Kirk (IL)
· Olympia Snowe (ME)
In other words, Brown, Hatch, Kirk, and Snowe must GO. To me to not support cloture on the vote to repeal DADT was as destructive as any Stimulus, TARP, Stimulus, or Bailout or even ObamaCare. Yes, it was worse!
Step 3 – To do all that is spiritually, physically, intellectually and socially possible to elect more conservatives to Congress and to the Presidency.
We need to have the same single-minded intensity for good as the ACLU, the Democratic Party, and other advocates for homosexuality and abortion have for the evil policies that they have successful woven into the fabric of American society.
If we can withstand another two years of a Soetoro/Obama-Reid-Boehner led Congress, we may be able to reverse the affects of ObamaCare, reinstitute an absolute moral standard in the military, reduce spending, reduce the deficit, and return to the godly principles and values of the Founding Fathers. Otherwise, our fate is sealed and we will go the way of Rome and the Soviet Union …
Rachel Maddow reported on Twitter a few minutes ago that the somewhat rational policy of DADT was done away with, repealed, by an irrational Democratic-led Congress. The vote was 65-31 to repeal DADT.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, we are on the eve of destruction ...
We did something to ourselves that all our enemies could not do ...
"By a vote of 65 to 31 this afternoon, the Senate voted to repeal the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy. Republican Senators Scott Brown, Richard Burr, Susan Collins, John Ensign, Mark Kirk, Lisa Murkowski, Olympia Snowe and George Voinovich joined Democrats in the final vote to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Burr and Ensign did not vote with the Democrats earlier in the day when the GOP filibuster was broken, but signed on for the final vote."
