ObamaCare: In Concise Terms

Obamacare Summed Up in One Sentence

Here is one of the best synopses of the tragic and terribly costly ObamaCare Act that I have ever seen or heard. Apparently it is part of a speech given by a candidate running for office in the liberal state of Illinois which, I might add, desperately needs more legislators on both the state and Federal level like her!  A transcript of the video follows the YouTube video. The emphasis is mine.

“So let me get this straight (about President Obama and the Democrats' Affordable Care Act, better known as ObamaCare), it’s a long sentence.

“We are going to be gifted with a health care plan that we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee, whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that did not read it, but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes, with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke.

“So what the BLANK could possibly go wrong?”
