Does "The Bible Project" Promote True Biblical Doctrine?

 I've watched many hours of Tim Mackie's "The Bible Project" classes, starting with “Introduction to the Hebrew Bible” and then going on to ones about the beginning books of Genesis. It is clear that Mackie has done a lot study in preparation for these classes and he has a lot insights that you might not get by studying the Bible on your own. But I've gotten to the point that I can't continue with the classes because it makes me too sad to see his “students” in the videos being misled.

The straw that broke the camel's back for me is that he does not believe that Genesis 2 teaches that God actually formed Adam out of the dust of the ground. He starts out by saying that it is not an issue as to whether to take it literally or symbolically, but that the Hebrew word for “formed” means something different than the English word “formed”. He quotes several verses in which this Hebrew word can't mean the same thing (or so it would seem). But if you pay close attention, you can see that the English meaning of the word could actually be applied to the those verses and it makes perfect sense if you broaden your thinking just a little. Furthermore, those examples do not have qualifiers like Genesis 2:7 does, namely “of dust” and “from the ground”, which indicate what is being formed into something else. Furthermore, there are many, many other examples in which Hebrew word for “formed” clearly means the same thing as in English, such as a potter forming of vessel out of clay.

Mackie then quotes some verses that speak of Job and others as being “formed of clay” to prove that the expression can't be taken literally and that, therefore, Adam could have been born of woman just like everybody else. But these are clearly instances where it is used as an idiom to express the idea that they are like Adam with respect to being fragile, mortal and things of that nature. The fact that an account of an event has a symbolic significance does not imply that the event didn't literally occur. For example, the lamb's blood on the doorpost at Passover clearly symbolizes the blood of Jesus and all that it means to us. But that doesn't mean that we can't know with certainty that all of the events contained in story of the 10^th plague of Egypt did literally occur. The word “lamb” means Jesus in several instances in the Bible, but that doesn't mean that it has that meaning in every instance or that we can conclude that Bible has nothing to say about actual lambs.

Understanding the original intent of the biblical authors is important, but Mackie overemphasizes this. For example, David could write in Psalms about a time of distress in his life with no intention of prophesying of the Messiah. But yet we know that these are about Jesus and that this is the more significant message of the passage. The original intent of the authors is always secondary to God's intents.

Throughout the Scriptures, God is constantly correcting the misunderstandings of the typical people. Therefore, is it not reasonable to base an interpretation on the fact that typical people “wouldn't have believed” this or that “back then”.“Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts,” says II Co 3:15. The authors may have never thought about the theory evolution (or even heard of it) and disproving it may not be the main idea being expressed in passages like Genesis 1-2. But that doesn't mean that we can conclude that it doesn't contradict the theory of evolution. The biblical authors presumably knew nothing about Islam, and the main point of the story of Abraham and Isaac on the mountain was probably not to disprove Islam, but nevertheless it does prove that it is a false religion if you believe that the Bible is God's Word.

Let me qualify this. Mackie does not say that he believes in Darwinism. But he sees the creation/evolution debate as being unworthy of discussion and beyond the scope of the Scriptures. He is right that some people do overemphasize this issue and certain nuances of it.  It is possible for people to become so engrossed in the creation/evolution debate that they miss other important biblical concepts. But Mackie marginalizes creation truth way, way too much. He relies too heavily on commentators and is awed by so-called “experts” with many degrees, some of whom are not even Christians. The theory of evolution undermines some of the very things that Mackie is trying to get across, but he so blinded by these “experts” that he can't see it.

JW - a church or a cult?

Christian Bakers, Photographers, Florists, Caterers, Wedding Planners, etc.

 I recently participated in a heated and very disheartening discussion in my Sunday school class.  The teacher and several of the students took a position which I strongly disagree. 

The teacher’s position is described as follows:

It is not sinful for a Christian to provide goods and services, such as a wedding cake, photography, or flowers for same-sex couples for their “marriage” ceremonies.  Homosexuality is sinful, and you can tell the couples that you don’t agree with what they are doing, but you can set a better Christian example for them by “giving them grace” than you can by refusing their request.  You can provide these goods and services without condoning their sin.

My rebuttal follows:

First of all, Romans 1:24-27 (ESV) says,

“Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie…their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.” 

1 Corinthians 6:9 and Ephesians 5:5 say that homosexuals cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven.

These passages clearly show that homosexuality is a serious sin.  One who condones homosexuality does not do a good deed to the homosexual.  But can one participate in a sin (or a celebration thereof) without condoning it?  

From Acts 15:28-29, 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 and 10:19-20, I can see the following: 1) Abstaining from eating meat from idols was a requirement (not a just a suggestion) in order for Gentiles to become Christians. 2) Anyone who does not abstain is a participant in idol worship and is guilty of sinning against Christ. 3) It can cause a weaker brother to stumble or in fact, to be “destroyed”. There is no grace in that.  Therefore, anything that might be gained by eating the meat is nothing compared to the downside of it.

At this point we must ask these questions,

1)      Is homosexuality any less serious of a sin than worshipping idols?

2)      Is there any difference between eating meat sacrificed to idol and selling an animal to idol worshippers knowing that they intend to sacrifice it to idol?

3)      From the standpoint of Christian ethics, is there any difference between knowingly eating meat sacrificed to an idol and knowingly contributing to some other sinful activity such as a ceremony that promotes the sin of homosexuality? 

4)      If something is wrong because it can cause a “weaker brother” to stumble (or be “destroyed”), then wouldn’t it stand to reason that it would also put a stumbling block in the way of an unbeliever coming to repentance?

5)      If you sell something to someone knowing that the recipient intends to use it for a sinful purpose, can you justify yourself by telling them that what they intend to do is wrong? Will this strategy lead people to repentance or steer them away from it? 

Read 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 and Ephesians 5:1-14.

People often quote, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.” from 2 Corinthians 6:14 to prove that Christians should not marry non-Christians.  Certainly this a valid application of this teaching, but nothing in the context suggests that this principle is limited to the bonds of matrimony.  In the ESV, in addition to “yoked”, it uses the words partnership, fellowship, accord, portion-sharing, and agreement to describe what should not take place between the body of Christ (i.e. the Church) and the unrighteous or demons.  The reason why there must be such a partition is so that God may dwell and walk among us (the Saints).  A necessary condition is given in order for God to be a father to you is that you “touch no unclean thing”. In other words, “take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness.”

As imitators of God, we are to love the lost, but sexual immorality is not love, but rather it is the opposite.  A same-sex union can never be a true marriage, but a ceremony which has all of the trappings of a real marriage ceremony serves to deceive people into thinking that it is.  Children of light must not participate in such deceptions.  “The fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true”, not in deception.  Children of light must rather expose such deceptions. 

Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin. Movie (2024)

 

As a boy, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, is portrayed in the new Bonhoeffer movie, as aggressive, energetic and loving. As a man he is depicted as an open minded, eclectic, energetic, fearless, uncompromising, and who stood for and on the truth.

He lived in Germany in the early part of the 20^th century. There were several scenes in the movie where Bonhoeffer visited several countries including the United States and the United Kingdom. He even is seen playing the piano in a jazz club in the U.S.

He belonged to the German Lutheran Church. He was a seminary graduate. He served as a pastor at the time of the rise and bloody reign of Adolf Hitler. Unlike many of his fellow pastors he rejected the church’s subjecting itself to the heavy-handed Hitler. You see Hitler expected the German people and church to bow in reverence to him instead of to the true God. Hitler carried out his plan to exterminate the Jewish race and other inferior persons. Bonhoeffer fought him the best he could.

On the CoachDaveLive.com daily podcast on Monday,10/18/2024, there was a discussion contrasting the 1^st Century Church and the 21^st Century Church. The early church could be characterized by three C’s: courage, confrontation, and conquest. This body of believers at that time were active and involved in what was going on in the culture. Today’s church could also be summarized by 3 C’s: comfort, compromise, and cowardice. Bonhoeffer, as the movie reveals, fits more in the mold of the 1^st Century than today’s Church.

The movie indicts the modern-day church, which for several reasons ignores the moral decay and evil rampant in today’s culture. It uses the Bonhoeffer life story to do just that. Today the Church remains mostly silent on abortion (the murder of pre-born humans), sexual deviancy (taught in our schools and widespread on broadcast and social media), destruction of the family, etc.

Bonhoeffer took a stand against the evil of his day and went to a premature death at the gallows joyfully. Will we and our leaders dare emulate this valent soldier?

This Angel Studio production is currently playing locally (through Monday, 10/25/2024). Everyone, especially Christ-followers, should see this inspirational film.

 

Why Are Unborn Babies So Evil?

And can we ever find it in our hearts to forgive them?

 

It is the Babies’ Fault, Punish Them, Abort Them!

From the very moment of fertilization/conception the unborn human being, the baby, seems to have no regard for the life of their mother or father. How inconsiderate of the baby to ignore the fact that their parents were too ignorant, too young, too poor, too ill-equipped, or too immature to provide even for themselves, let alone for a child. Afterall a child requires the full love and attention of loving, mature, moral, adult parents. The baby should have acted more responsibly and waited until the parents were ready, better prepared for parenthood before attempting enter the world.

Is There an Alternative to Execution?

Some folks contend that we cannot just kill the baby. You think? Indeed, can we ever forgive the baby? How, might you ask? Give the baby a reprieve, a much lighter sentence, than death? Maybe require that the baby be given the opportunity to be placed with a loving, maybe even an infertile, couple for adoption.

Is There a Better Solution?

In any case let’s warn, educate, and counsel young or older couples not to let emotions, irrationality, and irresponsibility rule the day and control their actions and lives. There are many ways to prevent unwanted pregnancy, of which monogamous marriage and natural birth control are God’s design and the responsible course of action. Abstaining (what?) from sexual intercourse IS the best practice prior to marriage. It prevents the baby from “ruining your life” as he or she is so intent and fond of doing.

Yes, reason, logic, responsibility, unselfishness, true-caring love should guide couples through this wonderful God-given life.

Apotheosis of Washington

It has been a long time since I have done any blogging. I will have a new congressman because of the redistricting. My pastor recently called to my attention an issue that should have been addressed a long time ago. Here is my letter to petition my congressman about this issue.

Dear Honorable Congressman,

As you know Article I, section 8, clause 17 of the Constitution of the United States gives Congress the power to "...exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District...".  I would like to voice my opinion about the "Apotheosis of Washington" which is painted on the ceiling of the rotunda of the Capitol Building.  It should be painted over.  The fresco depicts pagan Greek gods, which should not be in a Christian nation.  The word "Apotheosis" in the title of the fresco means "ascending and becoming a god".  This is something that George Washington would never have approved of.  Even though he was a great man, it is morally wrong to elevate any human being except Jesus Christ to godhood status or to promote polytheism.

Who Really Cares Liz?

Despite what U. S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and other radical pro-aborts say,Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPC) do care about women.

Crisis Pregnancy Centers provide both pre-birth and post-birth services. They serve the physical, emotional, and in many cases even the financial and spiritual needs of the pregnant woman. Funded primarily by private, church, and other philanthropic donations, they are the backbone of services to pregnant women in need.

Increased support will be vital for these vulnerable women and families with more children now freed to be born. CPCs, now more than ever, must be supported financially and with increased volunteer participation.  

In stark contrast, it is the abortion industry, which heavily funds (using profits from abortion) the Warren-types in Congress, that only cares about filthy lucre (that’s money for those in Rio Linda). They see the expectant mother as a cash cow and terminating her baby as means to an end - easy money.

Worse yet, by their words and actions the baby-murdering Leftists seem to be encouraging violence and destruction of these praiseworthy, woman-supporting organizations, the CPCs. Expect more rage this summer as Antifa morphs into Abortifa.

Roe V. Wade, An Obituary

Roe V. Wade, 49, of Dallas, Texas died Friday, June 24, 2022, in Washington, D.C. Born on January 22, 1973, he was the son of Perdition. Roe was the illegitimate and unconstitutional son of the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court.

Detractors and supporters either celebrated or grieved his demise. He is survived by relatives including Obergefell V. Hodges and Lawrence V. Texas also illegitimate and unconstitutional products of the U.S. Supreme Court.

He had no children but was responsible for deaths exceeding 63 million unborn human beings in the United States.

There will be no visitation hours. Roe’s remains will be cremated and interned in the annuals of history among the worst human atrocities including the Jewish Holocaust, Cambodian Genocide, Soviet and Chinese Mass Murders.

Death Penalty: Right or Wrong?

Can the death penalty be right and wrong at the same time? Yes, it can.

For the Convicted Criminal

Some people have committed heinous crimes such as premeditated murder or sexually abusing a child. They are criminals. And if there is undisputed evidence of the crime, if they were tried and convicted, they should be rewarded with the ultimate punishment – death. Why should society bear the cost of housing, feeding, clothing, and securing those who robbed the life or innocence of another human being?

Whoever sheds human blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God
He made mankind. ~ Genesis 9:6

God instituted the death penalty to protect the innocent.

Furthermore, the death penalty is a deterrent to the person contemplating criminal behavior.

For the Innocent Person

Speaking of the innocent, on the other hand, 60, 70, or more millions of innocent lives have been sentenced to death and executed without having been charged or convicted of any crime, without any trial. They have been sentenced to death for merely being created.

The Irony

Doesn’t our society, our politicians, our citizenry, and even our churches see the irony of being against ending the lives of convicted murderers or child rapists, but who support by ignoring and stay quiet at the slaughter of innocent human beings?

The Solution

Implement the death penalty for the few deserving of death. Abolish abortion for the many that are undeserving of death.

Death Penalty Suspended in Ohio

In the state of Ohio, Governor Mike DeWine has essentially suspended the death penalty while he has “served” as governor the past five plus years

Chris Long of the Ohio Christian Alliance on a recent podcast noted that during Mr. DeWine tenure in Columbus he has approved of zero executions. Here is the stark and telling comparison of the last three Ohio governors regarding the death penalty during their terms in office:

            Ted Strickland (D-OH) - 20

            John Kasich (R-OH) -    18

            Mike DeWine (R-OH) -    0

Because of Mr. DeWine’s stand on the death penalty issue, his irresponsible response to the Chinese Virus Plannedemic, among other issues, hopefully voters will wise up and throw this bum out as soon as the May 2022 primary election!

On Which Side of the Fence Do You Stand?

Compare and Contrast 

There is a growing difference between the two major political parties.   This difference has intensified under the illegitimate Biden Administration, Democratic governors and mayors. Though far from perfect, the Republicans are generally not as bad as Democrats.

The following is a collection of political quips updated and revised for 2022. According to Snopes, “Which Side of the Fence? …originally circulated on the Internet at least as far back as March of 2011 … We don’t know who the original author was…” 

If a Republican doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.  If a Democrat doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, she doesn’t eat meat. If a Democrat is a vegetarian, she wants all meat products banned.

If a Republican believes human life begins at fertilization, he wants to see all abortion abolished. A Democrat justifies the killing of the unborn by denying he or she is a unique person in the earliest state of development.

If a Republican is a homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a Democrat is a homosexual, he demands legislated respect, rights, and special privileges.

If a Republican is down-and-out, she thinks about how to better her situation.  If a Democrat is down-and-out, she wonders who is going to take care of her. 

If a Republican doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.  A Democrat demands that those they don’t like to be shut down.

If a Republican sends his children to a public school, he expects his kids to learn how to think, to read, to write, and do arithmetic. If a Democrats sends his children to public school, he accepts his kids learning what to think, namely Marxist ideology, Critical Race Theory (CRT), the Lesbian, Homosexual, Bisexual, and Transgender (LHBT) agenda, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE).

If a Republican doesn’t like the climate she is living in, she moves. If a Democrat doesn’t like the climate she is living in, she blames global warming or global cooling, whichever is in vogue at the time.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church. A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion banned.

If a Republican decides she needs healthcare, she goes about shopping for it. If a Democrat decides she needs healthcare, she demands that the rest of us pay for hers.

If a Republican reads this, he’ll blog it and/or post it on social media so all can have a good laugh.  A Democrat will delete it or ignore it because he’s “bewildered because the truth is out, and he still doesn’t get it.”

 

Mansfield was Chosen

Premiere

The location of the world premiere of the faith-based movie Chosen (2021) was not California’s Hollywood last Saturday evening (11/13/2021), but Mansfield, Ohio. Crossroad Church on Park Avenue West hosted the event. The movie’s producer, several cast members and a large crowd were present for the first showing of Chosen. The crowd was very well dressed, there was even a sprinkling of formal evening gowns and tuxedos.

Producer

Jason Campbell, president of JCFilms, which produced the film, made some introductory remarks at the premier. Camp bell indicated that Chosen was one of 40 faith-based and family films his company has made. His desire in making these films “to change the culture for good.” He also indicated that another film was in the works and to be soon completed called Duplicate Divinity, which is also being filmed in Mansfield.

Production

Chosen was shot in Mansfield and even included several members of Crossroad’s staff, who were part of the cast, including the Lead Pastor Dave Vance and the Worship Arts Pastor Ernesto Alcantara. The movie stars Dean Cain, Kevin Sorbo, Heather Habura, and Eddie McClintock and will be released Fall of 2021. The film deals with adoption and foster care, which is a growing concern in America.

Plot

The movie is a multi-plot movie which follows the lives of several children, families and situations all involving either adoption of fostering of children. It is simultaneously entertaining, inspiring, and educational. One moment you are laughing and the next you become tearful. It is heartwarming and heart wrenching. Family is a theme and boy, does our society need to hear that today! Unfortunately, many kids are passed from home to home in the foster care system, some never really find their forever family.

Purpose

Chosen should empower and motivate people of faith, especially, increasing awareness, advocacy, and involvement of the plight of children in need of adoption and/or fostering. In Ohio nearly 16,000 children are being cared for in foster care every day. And that number is expected to increase as the number of foster parents declines. There has also been an increase in teen suicides.

Chosen highlights the beauty and potential of adoption and foster parenting, but it also shows challenges that many adoptive and foster parents face. The movie depicts how communities and people of faith can come together to help overcome these many challenges. In the movie Child Protective Services (CPS) is positively portrayed, which is far from reality, but it does show how CPS should operate ideally. There are a great many problems within the foster care system today – child trafficking, abuse, and exploitation. However, God-empowered Christians and churches can take back some of the spiritual ground that has been lost. Matthew 25:35 challenges us all, “For I was hungry, and you gave Me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in;”

The JCFilm’s website states that more than making a film for entertainment, the company’s goal is to leave a lasting effect on the lives of those involved in adoption and foster parenting in Ohio and around the world. Campbell is quoted as saying, "We don't just want to make a film. We want to make a film that will change and benefit the lives of children… This is more than just a film; it is a movement to empower people of faith to get involved.”  Campbell has called the movie “a blueprint for what churches and communities can do to help” improve adoption and fostering of children.

“Realistically, not everyone can be a foster or adoptive parent, we get that. But everyone can give a helping hand,” Campbell remarked. “Thus, we are creating Ohio Helping Hands to follow the blueprints echoed in the film to help people find ways to support foster and adoptive families. Simply put, Ohio Helping Hands will provide parents and children in foster care or adoption situations with programs that promote safety, permanency, and community.”

Show Me the Father (2021)

There is a great movie playing locally at the Cinemark 14 in Mansfield, Ohio and around the nation right now.  I watched “Show Me the Father” at the Saturday afternoon matinee.  Sadly, I was one of only five people viewing this important, insightful, and inspiring documentary about fatherhood at this showing.  Many more people need to see this movie, especially our lawmakers, judges, civic, faith, and school leaders.  Fathers are critical to family leadership and childrearing.

“Show Me the Father” is comprised of a compelling combination of several renowned sports figures (such as former star Ohio State running back Eddie George), a church leader (Pastor Tony Evans), and a powerful personal gripping testimony of a leader of a famous Christian organization (Jim Daly of Focus on the Family) as well of movie-makers (the Kendrick brothers who made “Courageous”, “War Room,” etc.)  All the participants in this documentary shared key ideas about what it means to be a father, and what it takes to be a father.

There are several surprise and shocking revelations in this movie. 

The point of the movies comes down to the fact that even though our biological fathers may be absent physically or emotionally from our lives, we have a heavenly Father who still loves and leads us in Jesus.

This movie offers an antidote to the epidemic of fatherlessness that is present in America today.  If we apply the principles and ideas revealed in this movie we would be much better off within individual families, in the entire American society, and in the world.

I highly recommend this movie to everyone who is, or who will be, or who has/had a father.  This movie is geared more to young adults and adults.

No Vaccine Passports in Ohio

There is a bill currently in the Ohio House of Representatives (HB 248) which will have its final hearing this Tuesday, June 29, 2021.  The House Health Committee is accepting pro and con testimony with a submission deadline of Sunday, June 27.

Chairman Lipps, Vice Chair Holmes, Ranking Member Russo, and Members of the House Health Committee, thank you for the opportunity to provide proponent testimony on Substitute House Bill 248.

…I fit in the 65+ category of Ohio citizens and may have experienced the COVID-19 virus myself earlier this year with having several of the symptoms associated with the virus including loss of taste, extreme weakness, and a fever. I never got a COVID-19 test. My physician did order me Vitamin D3. I also began taking Vitamin C, Zinc and Magnesium.  I completely recovered after a week or so confining myself to bed. I now continue this regimen of supplements as a preventive measure.

Why has the government, state and federal, not encouraged other measures, preventatives, or treatments like hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and proven supplements beside exclusively and vehemently pushing as the final solution, an experimental, unproven “vaccine”?

I passionately believe that this so-called pandemic (or panicdemic) was a government overreaction and overreach.  The masking mandate, the lingering lockdowns, and the potentially virulent “vaccine” were unnecessary for most Ohioans.  You do not quarantine well persons; you quarantine the sick! Unfortunately, the cure was worse than the disease. There were many unintended, needless consequences such as, small business failure, job loss, increased mental illness, etc.

What is also especially egregious was Gov. DeWine’s arbitrary postponing the Primary Election of 2020 at the last minute with no input from our elected representatives. I was scheduled to work the election polls that day and prepared to spend the day there.  This was detrimental to several primary candidates, who worked hard up to the last minute with their campaigns only to have it aborted and moved several months later causing loss of momentum and additional expense. This had a detrimental effect on their election chances, favoring incumbents and disadvantaging their opponents.

Even more disconcerting is masking and intending to inoculate children under 18 and young adults. Why?  They are the least susceptible to COVID-19. But they are being encouraged to be inoculated. The long-term effect on human beings is unclear. But to subject our precious children to this experimental treatment makes no sense.

Americans are an independent people. Government is not the infallible God. The people must have a CHOICE in the medical treatment they receive. This COVID “vaccine” or injection is a medical treatment. There is no reason, including those mentioned above, that citizens of Ohio should be mandated to obtain any vaccine or any medical treatment as a requirement to work, to transact business, to buy or sell, or to travel.

… I wholeheartedly urge you to move this bill out of the Health Committee and on to the full House for a vote as soon as possible.

Subjugate the People Act (HR1 and S1)

The so-called and deceptively named “Free the People” Act (U.S. House Bill HR1 and U.S. Senate Bill S1) is really, according to U. S. Senator Ted Cruz, the “Corrupt Politicians” Act.

This bill legalizes voter and election fraud (such as that seen in past elections, especially in the November 3, 2020 election.)

This bill is being voted on this week.  In order to push this bill and other radical bill the Democrats may seek to end the filibuster rule.  The filibuster requires any bill must have 60 votes in the Senate to pass. Eliminating the filibuster allows a bill to pass with a simple majority (51 votes).

Some of the corrupt features in this bill include:

(1)    Automatic voter registration. Individuals are automatically registered when they have any interaction with the government such as (obtaining welfare, drivers license, etc)

(2)    Prevents the states from purging voter rolls (of deceased persons or person who have moved.)

(3)    Mandates that felons be allowed to vote (including rapist, child molesters, etc.)

(4)    Strikes down state election integrity laws (such as voter identification requirements).

(5)    Allows ballot harvesting (mass collection of ballots of unrelated people) by paid political operatives and others.

You do these troubled children and this nation a disservice by perpetuating this "transgender" myth (lie). 

Refusing to deal with their mental/emotional sickness does not bode well for their future. Suicide is not driven by bullying or rejection of them as persons but by their inability to cope with something that they are not (pretending, fantasizing that they are the opposite sex/gender from which they were born.) 

Let me remind you, Rep. Cortez and your "trans" allies, that there are only two sexes (man and woman) and two genders (male and female.)  This is basic science,  basic biology, and confirmed biblical.  God does not make mistakes.  He designed human beings to be heterosexual.  To think or  to act (behave) otherwise is to  reject God's perfect plan. 

You are not God, stop shaping mankind into an "improved" image.
