Judge Southwick Confirmed

Radical Left Losses One

It is about time. reported that the nomination of Leslie Southwick to be U.S. Circuit Judge was confirmed 59-38. The Senate confirmed Mississippi Appeals Court Judge Leslie Southwick to sit on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Here is how my two Senators voted:

Sen. George Voinovich voted YES
Sen. Sherrod Brown voted NO

This is but one of the many reasons I did not and would not vote for this political- kin-to-UFO-observer-Kucinich & radically liberal senator from Ohio, Senator Sherrod Brown. He and Senator Hillary Rodham-Rodham Clinton are cut from the same cloth. In fact, the whole Democrat Party leadership are clothed in the same cheap garment.

Judge Southwick was very qualified, as was Judge Robert Bork. Like Judge Bork his only fault was that he was conservative. Our courts are overrun by activist leftist judges, which has resulted in very great harm to this nation. That is why elections are important, especially the presidential election.

The League of Grateful Sons (2005)

I recently bought The League of Grateful Sons, Hope Heroes Generations DVD. It is powerful documentary of the World War Battle for Iwo Jima. This documentary is in stark contrast to such so-called documentaries being peddled as truth such as Michael Moore’s fictitious Fahrenheit 911 or Algore’s intelligence-insulting Inconvenient Truth, which are more fiction than fact in content.

The League of Grateful Sons chronicles the beauty, example and relevance of fatherhood, manhood, valor, courage, hope, honor and respect of the men of the Great Generation. It is the story of American values and principles for which our fathers and grandfathers, who were willing to give their all. It weaves wonderful and poignant stories of several veterans’ life stories. It revolves around the 60th anniversary event of the Battle for Iwo Jima, a reunion of many of the remaining men who stormed and fought on the beaches in this blood D-day invasion. It is a most pivotal confrontation in the War.

The movie urges all Americans not to forget what these brave men and especially the 400,000 plus men who gave the ultimate sacrifice in World War II – their lives – so that we can be free. The movie encourages sons to learn and to listen to their fathers, especially to those still alive. It encourages us to pass down to the next generation their morals and their love for our nation.

That is why what I discussed in the last two articles is so distasteful – seeing people wanting to expunge God and the values and principles upon which our country was founded - from America. It sickens me when I see bureaucrats, or academics or politicians or other leftist and socialist-minded going out of their way to revise and reinvent history. They apparently have no clue as to the blood, sweat and tears which were shed for them by men like those who fought and died in World War II as well as our other patriot predecessors.

We are entering the Thanksgiving season, this is a wonderful movie to watch with our fathers and our families. You cannot help but better understand, appreciate and have your inner beings filled with gratitude for past sacrifices made for us. This Thanksgiving season let us not take for granted what has been so lavished upon us by God through these great Americans . . .

"The League of Grateful Sons" does not claim that all those who gave their lives were honorable men. Yet, this courageous God-fearing generation "went to war to protect women … their mothers … their families … their sweethearts, their homes. . . Let the "Telling" of their commitment to "personal responsibility, duty, honor and faith … the ethos of their family and community," help revive the moral values of our World War II generation. "” --- Judy Reisman,

“Each day, more than 1,000 WWII veterans die. We have little time left to hear their stories and say “thank you.” The League of Grateful Sons honors the testimony of these great men. This powerful, new film will leave you grateful for America’s WWII fathers and inspired to surpass their legacy.” --- AFA OnLine

“This documentary thank you to the heroes of WWII chronicles the 2005 trip of a group dubbed "The League of Grateful Sons," who traveled to Iwo Jima to walk in the footsteps of their fathers, grandfathers, greatgrandfathers, and role models of the best of godly manhood . . .” reviewer

I unhesitatingly give this movie a ***** of *****. I recommend this movie. It would make an ideal Thanksgiving or Christmas gift.
I could not find it in my local library or movie rental store; it is too good for them apparently. For $20 you can own this important documentary. You can purchase this movie on website or you can visit American Family Association AFA OnLine. It is an excellent movie for anyone interested in history or in the American culture.

Monumental Mistake

Washington Monument on the Mall, Washington, D.C.
On a macro, big picture, level removing God from our country and our culture is THE monumental mistake. On a micro level, however, and to get a glimpse of how pervasive the assault against God and against Christianity is in our once unashamedly Christian nation, take the incident of the display at the Washington Monument.
NPS Restores 'God' at Monument

Well, glory be to God, the National Park Service (NPS) was “man” enough to acknowledge its mistake and to take immediate corrective action to give God His due. Please see yesterday’s article on this blog titled Dissing God, which cited several recent instances of besmirching God by our government (way)officials. Today Bob Unruh of (WND) in his story writes, “In response to public protest (28,000 emails received today by the NPS . . . the National Park Service today told WND it is rebuilding the display of the replica of the cap on the Washington Monument so that the Latin inscription "Laus Deo" – meaning "Praise be to God" – is no longer obscured from public view.”

Unruh goes on in his WND article to report that the person who first noticed and brought the slighting of God in the Washington Monument display plaque to the attention of the NPS was Pastor Todd DuBord from California. He wrote, “DuBord, whose past research shows Thomas Jefferson actually advocated a "gate" between church and state, and uncovered officials at the U.S. Supreme Court lying about the nation's Christian heritage, also uncovered a "reinterpretation" of history at Monticello. DuBord also lobbied those organizations to restore accuracy in their recounting of the nation's Christian heritage.”

I am personally grateful for individuals such as Pastor DuBord and David Barton of WallBuilders who are trying to teach and to preserve the accuracy of history against the tide of revisionist academics and historians. Because the true American historical accounts and even actual documents do not support their socialist and secular humanistic agenda, these men are the Paul Reveres of our day warning of the enemy that is coming. That enemy is the hostile histrionics of the leftists in this nation, who think if they repeat the lie often enough the truth will be varnished.

Dissing God

Revising America

It is not only the radical leftist liberals in politics, the activist judges, the secular humanists and socialists in academia, but it is also some our government bureaucrats who want to see God out of the picture. They all share in the “who can best bash God” project. Recently there have been a series of God-bashing by federal agencies. Here are just three of the most recent.

The impudent Architect of the Capital bans religious references when issuing flag certificates. A young man from Ohio wanted to honor his veteran grandfather who proudly served in the military in World War II. Specific reference to God was deliberately purged from the certificate. This ruling was later rescinded.

The Veterans Administration, apparently some tenured civil servant with nothing better to do, censored religious references in the script used to describe each of the 13 folds of the flag in at 125 national cemeteries. The dastardly offense: on the 11th fold glorifies "the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob," while the 12th glorifies "God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost." This censoring came after one “Dr. Newdow” type complained. This is outrageous and insane political correctness run amok. Read two recent articles article 1 and artilcle 2.

The latest dissing of God happened just last week to one of the sites I visited, the Washington Monument, during my recent trip to Washington D.C. Although I did not get a chance to enter the monument I read in Newt Gingrich’s book, “Rediscovering God in America, Reflections on the Role of Faith in Our Nation’s History and Future.” Listen to this. According to an Action Alert that I received today from the American Family Association, the National Park Service (NPS), a federal agency, has joined the Veterans Administration in establishing anti-Christian bigotry as public policy. The NPS has censored “God” from a key display of American’s Christian heritage in our nations capitol.

The reference is an engraving of the Latin phrase “Laus Deo,” which translated into English means “Praise be to God,” on the east side of the 100 ounce aluminum cap on top of the Washington Monument.

Since the actual inscription of the cap cannot be seen or read on top of the 555 foot stone column, the NPC created a replica which is on display in the white colored obelisk of marble, granite and sandstone.

Now “God” has been expunged from the plague containing information about the monument dedicated to our first President. In 2000 the plaque read:

The builders searched for an appropriate metal for the apex that would not tarnish and would act as a lighting rod. The casting was inscribed with the phrase, Laus Deo, (Praise be to God).

The NPS has since censored the last sentence form the latest version of the plague to now read:

The builders searched for appropriate metal for the cap that would not tarnish and would act as a light rod. They chose one of the rarest metals of the time – aluminum.

Additionally, the replica of the cap which is in the monument has been positioned so close to the wall that the wording “Laus Deo” cannot be read. Prior to the censorship by the NPS, the replica could be read.

American Family Association contends, and I agree wholeheartedly, that because of the NPS censorship, visitors including children to the monument now have no way to know that the words, “Laus Deo,” (Praise be to God, are inscribed on the original cap on top of the monument! This censoring of God will help establish anti-Christian bigotry into federal law. has an excellent article that deals with this matter.

There seems to me to be a growing, blatant bias and bigotry, a deliberate attempt on the part of government along with the “American” Civil “Liberties” Union (ACLU), People for the “American” Way, the “Americans” for the Separation of Church and State, academia, leftist politicians [such as Pelosi, Reid and Rodham-Clinton et al], the media, entertainment, etc. to insult, ignore and eliminate God and all Christian influence from public life of this nation. It is a malicious and deliberate attack on God, His moral absolutes (law) and on all those who try to respect and to live their lives in honor of and in recognition of and in obedience to Him and His principles and precepts. These wrong-headed and wrong-principled people are destroying the very foundation upon which our great nation was built and established. It is time to draw the line in the sand. It is time to stop the encroachment of our liberties.

These insults to the God who has blessed America so abundantly are by a government under a “Christian” President. What in the world would be happening under godless radical socialists like Senators Rodham-Clinton, Gore, Obama or Edwards?

Sign the petition to President Bush asking him to rescind the action to ban the recitation now in use. It will immediately go to the White House. I did this this evening.

Send President Bush an email asking that he rescind this anti-Christian censorship by the NPS. Click here to send your email. I did.

Shining God’s Light on the Koran

This article is part of an on-going series. See previous articles: "Was Abraham a Jew or a Christian?", "Idolatry 101, 102, 103, and Oneness.

The Unbelievers

The Koran tells Muslims to say to unbelievers, “I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship. I shall never worship what you worship, nor will you ever worship what I worship. You have your own religion, and I have mine (1).”

Do you know how true the above statement is? It shows that Muslims are not to think for themselves. Dialogue is discouraged with those of other beliefs. It has the appearance of ‘live and let live’ from the Koran’s point of view. The non-Muslim is lead to think that he can believe as he desires and the Muslim can believe as he wants and there will be no animosity.

This is not the case. Muslims realize that Christianity and other religions are not the same as Islam. The uniqueness of Islam prevents it from being reconciled with Christianity in particular and other religions in general. In reality, the call from an Islamist to dialogue with Christians or to reconcile differences between Christianity and Islam is only a deceitful disguise to
ttempt to get Christians to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ.

The statement, “I do not worship what you worship,” shows that the Muslims know that the god of Islam is different than the God of Christianity and Judaism. “Nor will you worship what I worship,” shows an expected unwillingness on the part of unbelievers to change what they believe to that of Islam.

The Koran states that the disbelievers will wish they were Muslims one day (2). The Prophet is told to make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them (3). Believers are told, “Make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them. Know that God is with the righteous (4).” From the point of view of the Koran it is those who believe in Islam that are the “believers” and “righteous”.

Who then are the unbelievers? It is those who declare that God is the Messiah, the son of Mary (5).

An example of how Muslims treat unbelievers is revealed in Pakistan. A 14 year old girl, who was a Christian, dared to talk to her Muslim girlfriend about Jesus at school. She told her friend that He was the way of salvation. That very night the Muslim girl’s father came with nine other men and kidnapped the young Christian girl from her home. The men gang raped the girl and the parents were told she converted to Islam. The parents of the Christian girl have not heard from their daughter since.

Islam is cruel, brutal, savage, barbaric, deceitful and evil. Islamists, as well as all others who do not believe that Jesus is God, the Son of God, and do not receive Him their personal Savior are in the Kingdom or realm of Satan, being under the command of Satan. If you would like to escape the rule of Satan and transfer to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, you can confess to God that you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead. Then invite Jesus into your heart and life. You can simply pray, “Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me of my sin (evil) and come into my life.”

Huckabee Gaining Ground

Cartoon by Brian Duffy Des Moines Register (Iowa)

Former Arkansas Governor and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee coming off a boast from the Values Voters Summit and a solid performance at the last Sunday's GOP debate in Florida is catching up on the so-called "top tier" rabbits.

Clinton, China and the Moon

A Michael Ramirez Cartoon

With much thanks to former President Bill Clinton, China will be landing on the moon soon. Will America allow Hillary Rodham-Clinton to continue to add to her husband's terrible tainted legacy?

The Frontrunner Follies

The Frontrunners are Losers

The press is sure playing up the current GOP and Democrat presidential frontrunners, hoping that we will have a New York based street brawl in 2008 with the citizens of the USA the only clear losers, no matter who wins in any election involving these two candidates. Here are two recent comments or articles about the alleged frontrunners. If I was a composer I would write piece of music and call it "A New York Minuet" after these two birds of a feather.

Pat Buchanan warns in a recent article quoted in a report that “Support for Rudy Giuliani represents a return to liberal Republicanism that would strip the GOP of its hard-won progress on moral, social and cultural issues.” He specifies some of Giuliani’s liberal positions, “Pro-abortion, anti-gun, again and again he strutted up Fifth Avenue in the June Gay Pride parade and turned the Big Apple into a sanctuary for illegal aliens. . .”

Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani is not my choice for President. Hopefully he will not be nominated. Hopefully the American voters will recognize the sham that he is and will select a principled conservative candidate to represent them in the upcoming election. He is living only off the reputation of a few moments of crisis leadership in his beleaguered city after 9/11.

Senator Hillary Rodham-Clinton says that she thinks highly of the United States -- but she wants to change it. reported that Senator Rodham-Clinton, who is the Democrat Party presidential frontrunner, said, "This is a good and great country," to the applause of the crowd at the event. "Let's go out and change it and make history together. Thank you and God bless you!" She delivered that message Thursday night as friends, family, and supporters celebrated her 60th birthday with a star-studded fundraiser in New York.

Can you believe what this candidate wants to do? She wants to change a good and great country. She apparently wants to make the country bad and evil and reduce it to a second-rate status! That would make history, Senator, yes it would. That is exactly what her policies (Taxes, appeasing Terrorists, Same Sex Unions and Marriage, etc) and her programs (HillaryCare) and your creepy creeping liberalism would do. It would place America on the ash heap of history along with the Roman, the Mayan and the Soviet Union empires. On top of that, this godless, radical feminist, and seething liberal implores Almighty God to bless her supporters and to bless her version of a godless, heathenish, secular humanistic America. The America, which Senator Rodham-Clinton envisions and longs to shape, is one that our godly, Christian Founders would adamantly oppose. What hypocrisy, what audacity!

Frontrunners, indeed! More like media-generated hype and hoopla, for these two are apostate atheistic domestic demigods, if you ask me!

Ecclesiastes Chapter 10 offers some good commentary of the two so-called frontrunners of their respective parties. Verse 1 applies to Mayor Rudy Giuliani: "Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour." Verse 2 applies to both, but especially to Senator Rodham-Clinton: "A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left." Senator Rodham-Clinton's radical socialist (leftist) positions on the issues, her policies and her programs are for the most part foolishness. America, don't be duped by these foolish fabricated frontrunners! May God have mercy and spare America the looming disaster that potentially awaits us, if either of these two ever steps into the office of President.

Testing Candidates Compatibility

My Issues, My Candidate

Here is a tool, a quiz that may help you in your selection process in narrowing down the candidate(s) who is (are) most in tune with you beliefs and positions. We have so many candidates[ that this tool may help you to see which candidates might best serve your interests and positions. I found this interesting quiz on the RealChoice blog.

You can take the quiz by clicking here.

The WQAD (TV) candidate survey is based on the original SELECT A CANDIDATE survey developed by Minnesota Public Radio and posted at:

This quiz is not perfect, but it does give some indication of some of the issues that the various candidates hold. Here are my results.

Duncan Hunter – 53

Fred Thompson – 48
Tom Tancredo – 43
John McCain – 41

Rudy Giuliani – 37
Mike Huckabee – 36
Mitt Romney – 34

Ron Paul – 29

Joe Biden – 15
Hillary Clinton – 15
Barrack Obama – 15

John Edwards – 10
Dennis Kucinich – 10
Chris Dodd – 10

Bill Richardson - 5

My preferred candidates are the three above in bold. For me it confirms the total incompatibility with ANY of the Democrat candidates, which more and more represent a radical leftist, socialist worldview.
This quiz surprised me from the standpoint that Giuliani finished ahead of Huckabee, one of my favorite candidates. The survey did dramatically show a difference between all GOP candidates and the Democrat candidates. There was not just a gap, but a deep and wide chasm as big of a difference as between right and wrong.

Christian Discrimination

Here is one example of Christian discrimination brought to my attention a few months ago by Pass the Salt Ministries.

Ante Pavkovic was recently arrested for praying inside the US Senate chambers in response to an opening prayer being offered by a Hindu. View this video of our friend Ante Pavkovic standing up for Jesus in the US Senate as a Hindu was asked to give the invocation.

Freedom Writers (2007)

There have been many movies about inspiring teachers trying to motivate wayward kids. This movie is one of them. The teacher, played by Hilary Swank, cares deeply about the kids, loves the kids and shows great brotherly love. She exhibits great patience and understanding in the midst of insults, disrespect and disinterest on the part of her high school students. As a first year teacher she is given the worst of students, which in this school seems to come from three or four different gangs, all of which hate each other.

She has quite a challenge. She is a relatively newly wed when she takes the job. She ends up sacrificing her marriage as a result of her commitment to teaching. She gets the kids motivated, but gradually loses her ambitionless, self-centered husband. You can see the two growing more and more apart as the movie unfolds. To me this is very sad. His lack of support and her lack of demonstrated concern for her husband are two forces at work to destroy the relationship.

Because of the breakdown of the marriage, much of the good the teacher does is tempered by the cost. One lesson is be careful who you marry and be sure that you both have a clear understanding of each others goals and priorities.

Hilary Swank’s character does really engage the students in active learning, reading and writing to a degree unfortunately not seen in our government schools. The movie is a powerful demonstration of the burdensome bureaucratic system faced by caring, innovative teachers. It seems that the teacher was bucked every step of the way. She had to go over the heads of her superiors and buy teaching material using her own money because of the intransigence of the educational system. This is an excellent portrayal of what is so desperately wrong with our schools across the board. The situation begs for giving students many options such as charter schools, private schools, homeschooling and Internet courses, etc. Something the short-sighted, entrenched, miserable, power hungry and turf-protecting teachers' unions perpetuate: protecting a badly broken and absolutely inept system.

gregjaye rates this movie **** of ***** for its depiction of what can be accomplished in education with commitment, care and love. Anyone can learn and grow in the right environment. It is not money (do you hear that politicians?). Best of all this is based on a true story.

It was amazing watching the freshmen high school class mature under the nurture of a teacher who did it in spite of the many obstacles inherent in a failed government education system and with a lost and an essentially written off bunch of kids.

Despite the portrait of marriage as being of secondary import, the fact that Freedom Writers shows what can be done in the right situation in education. The non-financial costs are high. Freedom Writers shows the need to scrap the current government schools, because of the failed, bloated bureaucracy with the able and active assistance of their accomplices-in-crime, the teachers unions. What we have is, in reality, is a system that insures that nearly every child is left behind. What is needed are more teachers and more learning alternatives and more accountability.

Freedom Writers is a story of courage, persistence, love, care, overcoming all odds. It is inspiring and hopeful. I recommend it.

Teddy Roosevelt on Immigration

T.D. forward the following content in an email recently. We are indebted to some very excellent input T.D. sends us. The emphasis in the quote below is mine.

The year is 1907, one hundred years ago . . . Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.

“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon he person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American . . . There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag . . . . We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language . . . and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

----- Theodore Roosevelt 1907

T.R.'s advice is just as applicable today, in 2007, as it was 100 years ago, maybe more so! Wow, I think Teddy Roosevelt would also be saying, now listen President Bush, our borders should be secured! Immigration should be done legally and orderly, unlike the present unenforced and unenforceable system. Let us unfreeze Immigration and Custom Enforcement (I.C.E.). Let's untie the hands of the Border Patrol's agents. Let's free agents Compean and Ramos. Let's build that fence. Let's put those who hire illegals in jail. Let's deport any illegal who breaks additional laws.

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) Signed Letter

Signers of the Declaration of Independence, Statesmen-Patriots

It is interesting to note that Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown was one of the 41 Senators who signed that letter falsely accusing Rush Limbaugh of besmirching our soldiers in Iraq. Senator Reid sent the petty, lying letter to Rush Limbaugh's "boss" demanding he make Rush apologize for the prefabricated and misrepresented accusation about "phony soldiers". In my mind the only phony ponies are Senator Reid and his comrades-who-harm, those who signed the letter. Did Senator Brown also apologize for signing that letter? If not, he should.

What a far cry the politicians and poluticians of today are – especially the Democrats who stooped to sign such a nonsensical and untrue Declaration of Condemnation against the king of talk radio - compared to those great statesman and patriots, who in 1776, signed the Declaration of Independence from the tyrannical King of England. That is a long drop or fall from grace and status in 231 years. Senators Reid, Brown and the others deserve to be voted out of office at the first opportunity. Or maybe a “fairness doctrine” should be mandated on the speech of the congressional left, ya think?

Why does the Left hate America so much that they would continually condemn and hypocritically say they support the troops, yet they do all they can to undermine and even commit near treasonous acts to undermine the military and our attempt to win the victory in the war on terror? All I can concldue is that they want to estabish an America far different than our Founding Fathers shown in the above picture envisioned.

Huckabee Hurdles into Top Tier

David Brooks, New York Times writer, wrote and excellent article on Friday regarding Mike Huckabee and that was before Governor Huckabee won the Values Voter Summit, see related article below, on site straw poll Saturday afternoon and did very well in the Fox Presidency IV debate Sunday night. David Brooks, it turns out is a prophet.

He gives seven reasons why he sees Huckabee coming "From the Back of the Pack". His New York Times article starts out, "The first thing you notice about Mike Huckabee is that he has a Mayberry name and a Jim Nabors face. But it’s quickly clear that Huckabee is as good a campaigner as anybody running for president this year. And before too long it becomes easy to come up with reasons why he might have a realistic shot at winning the Republican nomination. . .

I paraphrase and summarize the Brooks' seven reasons:

1. GOP voters want someone fresh

2. Huckabee doesn't alienate factions as the so-called top tier candidates do

3. He is normal and likable

4. As an evangelical leader is not fighting mainstream America at every turn

5. Hucabee is most in touch with the white working class, the backbone of the GOP

6. Huckabee was a governor and is in touch with the common man more so than GOP elitists

7. He is a collaborative conservative

Although I do not completely agree with Brooks' assessment nor with Huckabee for that matter. He is not perfect. He does seem to be the best all around electable candidate that the GOP is currently offering.

Inside the Values Voters Summit

The following is a summary of my impressions of the Washington Briefing for Values Voters held on October 19 and 20 in Washington, D.C. I attended the Briefing.

Governor Mike Huckabee, the Making of a President

Washington, D.C., AGC - I was blessed to be one of the 2,600 participants in the Washington Briefing Values Voter Summit this past weekend. Last September 1,800 had attended the Briefing. All of the then 9 major Candidates made a presentation. Senator Sam Brownback, though he made a speech at the Summit, announced in Kansas that he was taking himself out of the running for the presidency. Brownback had been my early choice for president. The immigration issue hurt him.

I was able to see and hear, first hand, the candidates. Every major candidate of both major political parties had been invited. I was disappointed, though not surprised, that no Democrat Presidential candidate cared enough or dared enough to make a presentation, which tells me a lot about their values or lack of same. Representatives Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee did the best in getting their message out. Tancredo was the most passionate, Hunter the most correct and Huckabee the most electable without compromising conservative and Christian principles. Over 50% of the persons actually attending the conference agreed that Huckabee is the best candidate to face a Clinton-Obama ticket next year. None of the so-called top tier candidates impressed me or changed my mind about my support for any of them.

Senator John McCain was very wrong on amnesty and teaming with the Dems to foil the filibuster against the President’s judicial appointments. These are unforgivable policy positions. Former NY Mayor, Rudy Giuliani unashamedly supports the slaughter of innocents (abortion) and will fail to protect and uphold marriage’s exclusiveness to that of one man and one woman. Governor Mitt Romney is a slick, unprincipled, finger in the wind, say whatever he needs, trying to seduce the conservative Values Voter. I am afraid he will use me as much or more than the current president did to gain power. Senator Fred Thompson seems disinterested and I question why he is even running. He seemed tired, bored and unrehearsed.

Listening to the 9 want-to-be presidential candidates was just a small part of the Washington Briefing. There were a large number of the media in attendance. I even was interviewed by a New York newspaper correspondent. The LA Times and the NY Times reporters were among those present. There were at least 8 radio stations and a couple dozen bloggers also present.

In fact, I attended two press conferences. One called to announce a united opposition to the Employment NonDiscrimination Act (ENDA), the law being discussed in the U.S. House which would allow the immoral, unnatural and unhealthy homosexual lifestyle to have special civil rights protection. Bishop Harry Jackson, a black Maryland minister along with several others voice opposition to this unnecessary and destructive law. It would institutionalize this deviant behavior and cause all kinds of confusion in our courts, churches and marketplace.

We heard a powerful message from a Jewish Rabbi reminding us that our early forefathers were quite familiar with the Hebrew language, the language of much of the Judeo-Christian Bible. Hebrew had been taught in schools and studied closely by the preachers of that day. We have so much in common with true Judaism.

We listened to speakers talk about culture building endeavors such as the production and distribution of movies portraying Christian and moral values. There was a panel of women discussing women and conservatism. We heard presentations on what the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) and their partner organizations are doing in the courts to stand up to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other culture and American value corrupters. Attorneys and popular talk show hosts Dr. Mark Levin and Laura Ingraham presented a powerful case exhorting the assembly to continue to fight the battle for the culture and for American values.

There was also an interesting debate between theologian Richard Lamb, a Bible-believer and pretend-evangelical Jim Wallis, a believer in the social gospel. Most of Jim Wallis’ ideas were as out of place, repulsive and abhorrent to me as are Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s position on abortion and promotion of the homosexual agenda. A good variety of exhibitors were also on hand to present their work, such as Priests for Life, American Family Association, Faith2Action, Focus on the Family, and the American Civil Rights Union (ACRU).

All and all, the Washington Briefing for Values Voters was fast paced, intense and very informative. Conservative and Christian voters have a great deal to do the next twelve months to insure the right person sits in the White House beginning January 2009.

Shining God’s Light on the Koran

This article is part of an on-going series. See previous articles: "Was Abraham a Jew or a Christian?", "Idolatry 101, 102 and 103.

The Koran teaches that the eternal God is One. He has no equal. He was never begotten nor did He beget anyone (1). Compare this with the Shema in the Torah which states, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord (2). While the Shema appears similar to what the Koran says, in that God is one. The Shema neither says that God did not beget a Son, nor that God was never born.

Jesus did not speak when He was brought before the High Priest at the time He was accused of wrongdoing. In desperation the High Priest said to Jesus, “ I adjure You by the living God, that You tell us whether You (are) the Christ, the Son of God (3).” Jesus said to him, you got that right. Nevertheless I say to you. After this you shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then the High Priest tore his (own) clothes, saying, He (Jesus) has spoken blasphemy. The High Priest added “What further need have we of witness.” To the elders Caiaphas said, “You heard Him. What do you think? The elders answered and said, “He is guilty of death (4).” The high priest and the elders of Israel rejected Jesus as being the Son of God. Yet, they were looking for the Son of God for they asked Him if He was the Son of God.

In the book of Isaiah Scripture says, “A virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel, which means God with us (5).” Isaiah writes, “…Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulders; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace (6).”

Moses referred to this in the Torah when he wrote, “The Lord your God will raise up unto you a prophet from the midst of you of your brethren, like unto me, unto Him you shall hearken (7). At the time of Moses’ death there had not arisen anyone like Moses who knew the Lord face to face (8).” God spoke of this person when He told Eve that her seed would bruise the head of the serpent and the serpent would bruise the heel of her seed (9).

In the Koran the term “one” is represented as being only a single person. In Scripture it not only can represent a single entity, but also unity. The Hebrew word “one” the Shema is also found where God says “the people is (are) one” (10).” In this instance many individuals is referred to as one. It is the same Hebrew word where God says, “they have all one language (11).” The language is a single entity. God then says, “Let us go down, and there confound their language (12).” God reveals Himself as more than a single individual as represented in the term “Us”.

Indeed, the Hebrew word translated “God” in the book of Genesis, chapter one, is “Elohiym” which is a plural word (13). God had a conference before creating man and said, “Let us make man in Our image, and after Our likeness (14). Again the words “our” and “us” denote more than a single individual in referring to God. It cannot refer to angels since they are created beings and God is not created, but self-existent and eternal.

God took the rib of Adam and made a woman. Thus, they were one flesh, yet two individuals (15). This is why when we use the term man it often means both male and female.

Jesus spoke of God the Father saying, “I and my Father are one (16).” The Father is in me and I am in Him (17).” Notice that they are two individuals, yet, they are one. In the upper room where Jesus ate the Passover He prayed for His followers that they would be one as Jesus and the Father are one (18). Further in the prayer Jesus prays that His followers may be one in Us (19). There are millions of followers of Jesus and He prays that they would be one in Him and the Father. Notice that Jesus refers to Himself and the Father as Us even though they are one. This, there can be a oneness in the plurality of persons in Scripture. However, Koran does not recognize this.

The apostle Paul writes, “…We have many members in one body…every one members one of another (20)… By one Spirit we are all baptized into one body…and all have been made to drink into one Spirit (21).” Please notice there is one Spirit, which makes the many one. This is shown when Saul was on the road to Damascus to persecute the Christians there. Jesus confronted Saul and said to him, “Why are you persecuting Me?” Also notice that Jesus did not say “Why are you persecuting My followers, but He said “Me.” This shows that His followers are one with Him. In the same way God is one with three persons – God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit.

If you desire to be one with God you can do so right now. Repent of your sins by confessing to God that you are a sinner and invite Jesus to come into your life and heart (inner being). Pray something like the following: “Lord Jesus Christ forgive me of my evil and sin and come into my life.”

Value Voters Straw Poll

Huckabee Makes Hay

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) There was a very important straw poll taken today. In fact it was the second largest straw poll taken to date for the upcoming presidential election. Although the actual poll numbers below may show something different. The real winner in my mind in in the mind of many here at the Washington Briefing 2007 Values Voter Summit was former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

#1 Governor Mitt Romney 1595 total votes
#2 Governor Mike Huckabee 1565 total votes
#3 Representative Ron Paul 865 total votes
#4 Fred Thompson 564 total votes

See complete results here.

The way the poll was set up, I believe that Mitt Romney's and Representative Ron Paul's political machine and Internet savvy bought them their place in the final results. First, the poll allowed people to vote either online or in person. The only requirement was that a person had to be a member of the Family Research Center (FRC). Second, for any contribution, even as little as $1, a person could cast a vote for their favorite candidate and identify their key issue. There were 2,600 in person attendees at the Briefing. 600 of those attendees cast their vote online between August and today at 1:00 PM. The rest of the total 5776 ballots were cast online. Again, only FRC members could vote.

A controversy occurred over the fact that the online voters, who did not actually attend the event may have merely joined to skew the election for their candidate. This could, in the case of Ron Paul be that his "true believers" committed to join the FRC to make sure that their candidate did well. In the case of Mitt Romney, I suspect the same thing and maybe even that people were paid to vote. I personally saw some evidence of how active Romney was when two of his workers, two computer geeks were busy late into the evening working in the Washington Hilton Hotel's self-service Business Center apparently working on some handouts for Saturday's (today's) event. Also, it was noteworthy that a number of what appeared to be "faithful" left as soon as their candidates left the podium after speaking.

I am convinced that the former Massachusetts Governor is a slick politician whose "principles" are guided by what he things they need to be to get elected, not by personal conviction. In the case of Ron Paul I think he has intensely loyal and supportive followers, however, I don't think many are Values Voters. Therefore, I think that Mike Huckabee emerged from the lower tier candidate in second place just as he did in the Iowa straw poll. In both cases he was "beaten" by Romney bought voters and not on principle. He won the Values Vote. This finish, I hope, will propel him past John McCain and Fred Thompson into the top tier where he will be Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney's main competition for the the nomination.

Mike Huckabee is now the best hope for conservatives and true Christian Values Voters in the upcoming primaries. With Senator Sam Brownback dropping out of the race Thursday, and with the other excellent second tier conservatives not faring very well in the poll, we need to get behind Mike Huckabee with our financial and volunteer support and do everything we can to defeat the Romney, Giuliani and Clinton-Obama political machines.

Rediscovering God in America

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) We arrived here in D.C. around 7:00 PM Wednesday evening for the Values Voters Washington Briefing that is being held Friday and Saturday. I was again amazed at the volume of traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian, that pulsated through the arteries of this city. The weather, too, seemed more like July 16th rather than October 16th.

We stopped at a couple of bookstores, which were within walking distance of the Washington Hilton. After the second bookstore stop, I found the book for which I was looking, Rediscovering God in America, Reflections on the Role of Faith in Our Nation's History and Future. I found the book at the Books*A*Million. I had recalled this particular title form a radio show I had heard several months ago. The book was written by Newt Gingrich. It is a walking tour of Washington, D.C. in which the former Representative points out the how America had honored God in the past and preserved this honor and respect in some of the great monuments around Washington.

After our group had a breakfast Question and Answer with Representative Duncan Hunter, we later spent a good four to five hours following the former Speaker of the House's guided tour book. The book recommended starting the tour at the National Archives. We did this. We saw the actual preserved Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. What a privilege it was to be able to see this documents in person. Some of the ink, like some of the Founding Father's values have begun to fade, but they still are as meaningful as ever.

One gross error I noted was on one of the display signs in the exhibition hall, which described that our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness were "natural rights." This is not how the Declaration of Independence stated the derivation of these rights. The Declaration says that the source of these rights are from God.

The Gingrich book guided next suggested visiting the Washington Monument, which we did. All of the free tickets to the monument had been given away by the time we arrived at the monument. We settled for getting close to the monument and in trying to notice the aluminum at the peak of the monument with the Latin inscription, "Praise God." These words are located on the eastern side of the peak. The morning sun rises reflecting first on these words every day.

We also walked to the two of the newer monuments, the World War II monument and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Both of these structures were essentially secular and make no mention of God. This truly is an insult to God, to whom participants in those wars at home and abroad had prayed. We saw the Jefferson Memorial from the Mall, but did not visit.

We did have an evening tour of the Capitol Building which was very rich in historical Christian history. Our tour guides for this live tour of the Capitol were Representative Steve Chabot (R-OH) and Rick Green from They pointed out that the Capitol had been used for church services and prayer. Thomas Jefferson, in fact, allowed the Capitol to be used for Church services during his entire presidency. Likewise, he attended those services throughout his terms in office. This is the same person who supposedly is the author of the separation of church and state doctrine. If he was its author, he was its greatest violator.

What the book and the Capitol tour emphasized to me is that there is much history to learn, much education to be done for myself, the average American and the Christian. We are losing our heritage. We must restore and preserve our Christian heritage for ourselves, our fellow Americans and our posterity.

Is the Vote Rigged?

I got this press release from the Constitution Party:

Effort To Expose Computer Vote Fraud Leads To Lawsuit
Lancaster, Pa/ October 15, 2007- The Constitution Party encourages support for the National Clean Elections Lawsuit (N-CEL). The suit was filed against ten states: New Hampshire, Iowa, Ohio, Florida, California, New York, Illinois, Oregon, South Carolina, and Texas.

The Constitution Party, the country’s third largest party based on voter registration (Ballot-Access News) warns against electronic voting in its platform. The party points out that since 1988 all but a handful of the 3,142 counties in the US have delegated the "counting" process, done in secret, to several mega companies, Diebold, ES&S, Hart and Sequioa. All 50 secretaries of state have approved these systems.

The Clean Elections lawsuit, in the process of expanding to all 50 states, charges that the use of any computer (direct-recording-electronic- or DRE) systems which obscure ballots from the people for any period of time before a count is completed and the results are announced are unconstitutional.

The Constitution Party joins Citizens for a Fair Vote Count and plaintiffs in the Clean Elections Lawsuit in calling attention to the potential for vote fraud with electronic voting systems. According to the suit, the use of computer and machine election systems violates each citizen's right to vote, as defined at least twice by the Supreme Court of the United States. In 1915 and 1964 the US Supreme Court ruled that a citizen's right to vote consists of two parts: 1) the right to cast a ballot; 2) the right to know that his ballot has been counted accurately.“Paper ballots, always accounted for in plain sight, are the only option to make sure our votes are cast and counted honestly”, said Constitution Party National Committee Chairman Jim Clymer.

“When credentialed computer scientists from prestigious institutions such as Princeton ( and Standford ( universities have proven time and again electronic voting systems can’t be trusted, it’s imperative we move to stop computer vote fraud immediately”, Clymer added.

“Since ballots leave the sight of the people in the precinct before the votes are counted, breaking the chain of custody of the ballots, the illegality and unconstitutionality of electronic voting is clear”, wrote Citizens for a Fair Vote Count’s Jim Condit Jr.

“To make matters worse, the private companies controlling the ballots then give the “results” of electronic voting, gathered through touch screens with no paper trail, directly to the Big TV Networks -ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, & FOX. Centralized counting and reporting have no place in a free country. While the United States government sends monitors to make sure third world countries conduct fair elections, the fox is guarding the ballot box hen house here at home” Clymer remarked.

The Constitution Party challenges other political parties and all voters to support the National Clean Elections Lawsuit while demanding accountability from state, county and federal elections officials.

I agree with the CP about this issue, but I should point out that the above mentioned Jim Condit, Jr. is halocaust denier and a believer in a Jewish 9/11 conspiracy theory. I see that he has added the Freemasons to his list of conspirators on his website. Where does he get these weird ideas?

The Last Sin Eater (2007)

Sometimes I take a chance in selecting a movie to watch. This was the case in choosing to watch the Last Sin Eater. I had no clue of what this movie was about, except that I heard someone refer to it in a conversation about Appalachian life. The Last Sin Eater movie's title itself is not very inviting, because the subject, sin, is one of which we do not like to deal. Actually some deny sin or evils very existence.

This movie tells is the story of early Welsh immigrants and their superstitions. It also tells the age old story of redemption. This is a FoxFaith film. FoxFaith has made a series of very good, quality films that uplift our culture rather than tear it down.

Yahoo movies offers a brief summary of the movie, “In 1850's Appalachia, 10-year-old Cadi Forbes is wracked with guilt over the death of her sister. She feels responsible for the loss and sets out to find the only man, known as The Sin Eater, who can take away her guilt. But while seeking redemption, Cadi learns a devastating secret that has the potential to tear apart her family and community.”

gregjaye rates this movie a ****1/2 of *****. The movie is an interesting account of early immigrant life in America. It describes the wrenching emotions of a young 10 year-old girl and the various dynamics of family life, of human interactions. I clearly depicts the gross depravity of the white settler to his fellow man, the Native American Indian. It shows the resulting guilt and shame felt by the descendants.

I can't help but compare the immoral behavior of the secret sins of the early Welsh settlers with the present day atrocity of abortion so widespread across America today and our complacency and apathy toward this horror. As a nation we are guilty and we, too must repent. We need the Sin Eater. The movie conveys very well a powerful moral message.

Voter Match Game

I am going on a vacation for a few days this week. I will be in Washington, D.C. for the Values Voters 2nd Annual Washington Briefing. See this YouTube video, "Looking for the One."

For anyone interested attending the Values Voters Washington Briefing in person can visit the Family Research Center website and register. For those who cannot attend in person the American Family Association (AFA) will broadcast the Briefing. It will also be streamed on the Internet. You can register at the AFA website to listen on line.

Nine Republican Presidential candidates will be attending and speaking at the briefing. It is my understanding that all of the Democrat Presidential candidates have been invited, but none have made commitments to attend or participate. The values voter could make the difference in the '08 Election. Hopefully a strong conservative candidate (someone other than the media driven top four GOP quasi conservatives) will emerge as the Values Voters favorite.

John Howard for President?

Maybe America can learn from Down Under's John Howard

T.D., a friend of A Good Choice periodically sends me e-mails or content that is just so captivating that we must reprint it her on this blog. The following is a news article that has been circulating on the Internet. It did appear on the’s website. I did bold some statements for emphasis. We reproduce it here essentially as we received it. Thanks T.D.

America Needs A Leader Like Australia’s John Howard

Australian Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday (September 26th?) to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown. Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he said on National Television.

"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another Islamic law that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option", Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off. Basically people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want, to live by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off", he said.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: "IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians."

"However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the 'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia."

"However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand." "This idea of Australia being a multi-cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. And as Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle."

"This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom"
"We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!"

"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture." "We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us."

"If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like "A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep your culture, but do not force it on others.

"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."

"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."

What a powerful statement this Australian makes regarding his own nation. American citizens need to find the courage to start voicing the same sentiment about America to the would-be culture-destroyers both those who immigrate to denigrate our country and those who in politics, in the media, in academia, etc. choose to disparage our nation at every opportunity to advance their leftist and socialist causes. Maybe between now and the Election of 2008 a leader will emerge to lead America to face the opposing forces who wish to subvert the American way of life, its values and its history. . .

Shining God’s Light on the Koran

Hindhu Idols (Source)

This article is part of an on-going series. See previous articles: "Was Abraham a Jew or a Christian?" , "Idolatry 101" and "Idolatry 102".

Idolatry 103

Losers are those who in their ignorance have wantonly slain their own children and made unlawful what God has given them, inventing falsehoods about God. They have gone astray and are not guided (16).

Manasseh, King of Judah (son of Hezekiah) shed much innocent blood in Jerusalem. God was so angry He refused to forgive Judah (17) and brought Nebuchadnezzar to punish her (18). God said that Judah was polluted with innocent blood (19). Judah was a loser proving the Koran correct on this subject. Nebuchadnezzar ruled over Judah (20).

The United States Supreme Court in making abortion “legal” has, in effect, made unlawful what God has given us, our children before they are born. The falsehood about God is that He doesn’t matter. Either there is no God or He does not care. Embryonic Stem Cell Research is taking the tiniest of humans and ripping them apart. America is no better than the Aztec, Mayans, Canaanites or Nazi Germany, all of which God eventually overthrew.

The Muslims can look at America and rightly say, “They are killing their children in abortion and Embryonic Stem Cell Research. “They are the losers that the Koran says they are. They will be a pushover and will be defeated. They have already lost and don’t even know it yet.”
When Judah sacrificed to Baal and Molech, they were sacrificing to the intellect (Baal) and to sensuality (Molech). Isn’t that what abortion and Embryonic Stem Cell Research (ESCR) is all about (sacrificing to the god of sensuality and to the god of intellect) “reproductive freedom” and “science”?

Look around at the world today; where is human sacrifice to idols taking place? Those societies have all disappeared in which it (infant sacrifice) took place. The devil, Satan, who promoted this horror, is still around. Infant sacrifice has merely taken a different form. That being abortion and ESCR. America is polluted with the blood of the innocent being killed (21). If you think God will not judge a nation for this you are very mistaken (22). God is no respecter of persons (23). Scripture is written as an example for us to see how God dealt with people in the past (24). Someone said, “If we don’t learn from the past we are destined to repeat it.” It seems we are doing just that. God does not change (25). As He has done in the past He will do in the future.

It is possible that the war on terror is a part of God’s judgment on the United States. If it is, I don’t see how the war can be won without America repenting and putting away its evil, including “legal” abortion. God took the worst nation in the world at the time, Babylon, and used it to punish Judah and all the surrounding nations (26). Isn’t it ironic that the United States of America is fighting a war with the people of Nebuchadnezzar II? The war, however, is not against any one nation, but with the religion of Islam. It is the continuation of a struggle that began over 1400 years ago. I would say that the second biggest problem facing America today is the pollution of blood. Moreover, this atrocity of abortion, in and of itself, can cause climate change. God turns rivers into a wilderness, and the water springs into dry ground, a fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein (27).

I find it ironic, the nation that spends the most on evangelism around the world is being attacked by a religion which hates what Christians teach and are in need of repentance themselves. No Muslim (or anyone else who has rejected Jesus Christ as the Son of God and personal savior) ever goes to heaven, only to hell. In reality they are what they claim to hate, idolaters. Going back to losers being those who kill their children, I heard on the news that a Muslim couple with a six month old infant had an explosive in a feeding bottle, which they were going to have explode on an airplane and have themselves and their child perish in the explosion along with everyone else on the plane.

Muslim mothers and fathers and clerics are teaching children to hate infidel Christians and Jews and to strap bombs on their bodies and explode them, therefore causing to kill themselves and anyone else in their presence. Isn’t this killing one’s own children? Doesn’t this make the Muslims losers? Losers are fighting losers. So, who really are the losers? The answer is “the perpetrators.”

Saddam paid $25,000 to the families of those whose children took part and were killed in suicide attacks. The last I saw, Saddam and his sons were losers. His sons were killed in a firefight with American troops. Saddam himself was hung by a rope. Saddam’s army, air force and Iraqi defenses were destroyed totally in the American and coalition attack on Iraq. It took them only three weeks to conquer the country. Before the advances on Baghdad there was a wind storm so strong that it completely stooped the American war machine. Jesus Christ who is greater than the American military controls even the weather. After the wind stopped all the mines surrounding Baghdad were exposed to the United States military. People should take note that this was a supernatural intervention. Jesus Christ, who is God (29), acted and the god of Islam was powerless to do anything. The god of Islam after all is himself an idol (30).

Saddam was associated with Christians who gave him Liturature???? on the gospel of Jesus Christ. He failed to obey the gospel of Jesus and failed to repent of his evil and sin. The wrath of God abided on him and finally caught up with him and he died.

Jesus is God in flesh (31) and the real thing. He has existed from eternity (32) and took on flesh. He lived a sinless life (33) and represented all of humanity before God the Father (34) on the cross receiving in His own body the sins of the whole human race (35). Faith in Jesus is not idolatry (36). You can invite Jesus into your life today. Pray the following: “Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me of my evil and come into my heart and life, please fill my heart with Yourself . . .”

Gore, Global Warming Take the Prize

A Global Goring
(OHNO, Noway) This week it was announced that former Senator and unsuccessful candidate for the U.S. presidency, Albert Arnold Gore adds an (ig)Nobel Peace Prize to his Academy Award "winning" shamelful movie, Convenient Lies.
The above should be the news story that should have been written rather than the blather and accolades being poured upon this mother of all liars, AlGore by the grossly biased liberal agenda-laden press and media. “What a crock!” is my reaction to the former Senator and presidential election loser’s recent “honor.” Although there may be a inkling of truth in the fact that some small portion of climate change is caused by man, the sun and nature are the preeminent causal factors in any change in climate. Climate change is cyclical. Gore and other environmental extremists’ cries about man being the primary cause of climate change. This claim is foolish and deliberate propaganda by radical socialist intentionally or naively meant to destroy western civilization.
AlGore is in good company in receiving the nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. Lowell Ponte in a article notes, "In 1939 a member of Sweden’s parliament nominated Adolf Hitler for the Nobel Peace Prize. Other nominees for this award have included Hitler’s fellow socialists Benito Mussolini and Soviet Communist dictator Joseph Stalin, who also murdered millions."

In its headline article announcing the Nobel Peace Prize award to Gore makes this observation, "Gore's climate change effort has had its share of criticism. A British judge said in a ruling published Wednesday that some assertions in his documentary were not supported by scientific evidence. The case involved a challenge from a school official who did not want the film shown to students. The ruling detailed High Court Judge Michael Burton's decision this month to allow screenings of the film in English secondary schools. The judge said that written guidance to teachers, designed to ensure Gore's views are not presented uncritically, must accompany the screenings . . ." Like the false theory of evolution the leftist in acedemia have embraced and promoted global warming, with religious-like faith and evangelistic zeal that would rival that of the saints.
