Late Night Takes –Of immigrants, incompetents & insensitives

Late Night Jokes

The Tonight Show With Jay Leno

● Arizona has passed the strictest immigration bill in American history. A hundred people have been stopped already and that was just in one van.

● Congress has voted against giving itself a pay raise. They thought giving themselves a pay raise now would be unpopular. I think giving them any pay at all right now is unpopular.

● President Obama’s National Security Adviser James L. Jones apologized for telling an ethnic joke at a speech. Political insiders were shocked someone said something stupid and inappropriate, and it wasn’t Joe Biden?

These jokes are courtesy of (Hat Tip!), which periodically sends out an email compilation of late night jokes, few of which are worth repeating … these were the exception in the latest batch.

‘Collateral Murder’ Veterans Apologize to Iraqi Families

‘Collateral Murder’ Veterans Apologize to Iraqi Families

Eric Garris, April 16, 2010

WikiLeaks and their defenders have been under fire for “not supporting the troops,” by releasing the video now titled “Collateral Murder.”

The video shows American snipers killing Iraqis on the ground, including children and journalists. The Pentagon and others have charged the the video is “out of context.”

How about this for context:

Two soldiers from Bravo Company 2-16, the company depicted in the video, have written an open letter of apology to the Iraqis who were injured or lost loved ones during the attack (they say that this sort of thing is a regular occurrence in this war).

Here is the text of the letter:

From Current and Former Members of the U.S. Military

Peace be with you.

To all of those who were injured or lost loved ones during the July 2007 Baghdad shootings depicted in the “Collateral Murder” Wikileaks video:

We write to you, your family, and your community with awareness that our words and actions can never restore your losses.

We are both soldiers who occupied your neighborhood for 14 months. Ethan McCord pulled your daughter and son from the van, and when doing so, saw the faces of his own children back home. Josh Stieber was in the same company but was not there that day, though he contributed to the your pain, and the pain of your community on many other occasions.

There is no bringing back all that was lost. What we seek is to learn from our mistakes and do everything we can to tell others of our experiences and how the people of the United States need to realize what have done and are doing to you and the people of your country. We humbly ask you what we can do to begin to repair the damage we caused.

We have been speaking to whoever will listen, telling them that what was shown in the Wikileaks video only begins to depict the suffering we have created. From our own experiences, and the experiences of other veterans we have talked to, we know that the acts depicted in this video are everyday occurrences of this war: this is the nature of how U.S.-led wars are carried out in this region.

We acknowledge our part in the deaths and injuries of your loved ones as we tell Americans what we were trained to do and carried out in the name of “god and country”. The soldier in video said that your husband shouldn’t have brought your children to battle, but we are acknowledging our responsibility for bringing the battle to your neighborhood, and to your family. We did unto you what we would not want done to us.

More and more Americans are taking responsibility for what was done in our name. Though we have acted with cold hearts far too many times, we have not forgotten our actions towards you. Our heavy hearts still hold hope that we can restore inside our country the acknowledgment of your humanity, that we were taught to deny.

Our government may ignore you, concerned more with its public image. It has also ignored many veterans who have returned physically injured or mentally troubled by what they saw and did in your country. But the time is long overdue that we say that the value of our nation’s leaders no longer represent us. Our secretary of defense may say the U.S. won’t lose its reputation over this, but we stand and say that our reputation’s importance pales in comparison to our common humanity.

With such pain, friendship might be too much to ask. Please accept our apology, our sorrow, our care, and our dedication to change from the inside out. We are doing what we can to speak out against the wars and military policies responsible for what happened to you and your loved ones. Our hearts are open to hearing how we can take any steps to support you through the pain that we have caused.

Solemnly and Sincerely,
Josh Stieber, former specialist, U.S. Army
Ethan McCord, former specialist, U.S. Army

The soldiers are asking Americans to co-sign the letter on this website.

John Hostettler for U.S. Senate

Donate here:

50 Reasons to support John Hostettler, candidate for U.S. Senator in Indiana.

1) Ron Paul has endorsed John Hostettler for Senate.

2) Hostettler voted Ron Paul in the 2008 presidential primary and said he would do it again in 2012.

3) Hostettler, like Ron Paul, voted for Chuck Baldwin in the 2008 presidential election.

4) Hostettler voted against the Iraq War, and argued for that vote from the House floor in a speech that articulated a clear noninterventionist foreign policy.

5) Hostettler continued to stand up for that policy, writing a book against the Iraq war, which Ron Paul highly recommends.

6) Hostettler’s record of noninterventionist foreign policy extends back into the Clinton years as well, when he opposed intervention in Kosovo.

7) Hostettler speaks against fear mongering about Iran and the popular belligerent talk against that nation. He was also one of only 6 Republicans in 2006 to vote against a resolution “To Hold the Current Regime in Iran Accountable for Its Threatening Behavior and to Support a Transition to Democracy in Iran.”

8) Hostettler is against all foreign aid.

9) Hostettler voted against Medicare Part D. In fact, Ron Paul and John Hostettler are the only 2 Republicans to have voted against both the Iraq War and Medicare Part D.

10) Hostettler explicitly opposes all federal exercise of powers not among those enumerated in the Constitution.

11) Hostettler voted against No Child Left Behind.

12) Hostettler authored a bill to end federal income tax withholding.

13) Hostettler said while in office and continues to say that he supports total elimination of the federal income tax.

14) Hostettler sponsored bills to eliminate the Department of Education.

15) Hostettler sponsored bills to eliminate the Department of Energy.

16) Hostettler sponsored bills to eliminate the Department of Commerce.

17) Hostettler has stated publicly that he supports auditing and even abolishing the Federal Reserve.

18) One of Hostettler’s first acts in Congress was signing on as a sponsor of legislation to repeal the Brady Bill and assault weapons ban.

19) Hostettler authored a bill to facilitate reciprocity of concealed carry permits between states that respected the 10th Amendment and did not include national standards.

20) Hostettler singlehandedly shut down a deal between the Clinton administration and Smith & Wesson that would have used the power of the Executive branch to bypass the legislature and impose regulations on the ownership and sales of guns by manipulating the market for guns in its awarding of government contracts. Hostettler did this by a series of amendments introduced into appropriations bills.

21) Hostettler has demonstrated that he shares Ron Paul’s commitment to shutting down judicial activism by leading Congress to exercise its constitutionally enumerated power of making regulations and exceptions for the jurisdiction of the judicial branch. Ron Paul has done this with his We the People Act and Sanctity of Life Act, and Hostettler did it with the Public Expressions of Religion Act, which he authored and successfully got to be voted on and passed in the House of Representatives (later to be rejected by the Senate), as well as the Marriage Protection Act of 2003, and various amendments to appropriations bills over the years legislating that no funds be used in the enforcement of activist court decisions.

22) Hostettler is pro-life.

23) Hostettler supports repealing Obamacare.

24) Hostettler joins Ron Paul in supporting the use of earmarks.

25) Hostettler voted against warrantless wiretaps.

26) Hostettler voted against the creation of the Department of Homeland Security.

27) Hostettler opposes a national ID card.

28) Hostettler voted against every so-called free trade agreement that was brought to a vote in his tenure in Congress.

29) Hostettler sponsored a bill to withdraw from the World Trade Organization.

30) Hostettler led the fight in the immigration subcommittee of the House judiciary committee to keep the House from passing the amnesty for illegal immigrants that President Bush supported, after that bill had passed the Senate.

31) Hostettler cosponsored Ron Paul’s amendments to appropriations bills for defunding the United Nations.

32) Hostettler voted against the $52 Billion Katrina aid package.

33) Even on issues where Hostettler disagrees with Ron Paul, he always gives clear, well-thought-out, principled, Constitution-based reasons for those differences. This can be seen in his interview with the Indiana state coordinator of the Campaign for Liberty. Ron Paul expresses his own appreciation for this quality of Hostettler’s in his endorsement.

34) Hostettler has stood many times in defiance of the wishes of his own party’s leadership.

35) Hostettler is recognized by friend and foe as a champion of the Constitution.

36) In the Senate Hostettler will vote on and question judicial nominees. He will be able to bring to bear in this questioning a level of seriousness about the Constitution that no current senator has.

37) In the Senate Hostettler will be able to exercise much more influence than what just one member of the House of Representatives can exercise.

38) Hostettler refused PAC money for all 7 of his House races.

39) Hostettler would make a great ally for Rand Paul in the Senate.

40) In 2008 Ron Paul had zero endorsements from any sitting members of the House or Senate. He could have at least two endorsements of sitting senators if we elect Hostettler.

41) Hostettler is polling neck-and-neck with the GOP establishment pick, Dan Coats.

42) Hostettler polls better than every other Republican candidate against Brad Ellsworth in the general election matchup.

43) It is widely believed that the reason Coats was recruited back to Indiana to run again was out of fear of the party leaders having to deal with an uncompromising constitutional conservative like Hostettler. The timing of the Republican leaders’ recruiting of Mike Pence and then Dan Coats to run, right after a poll had shown Hostettler within the margin of error in a general election matchup against Evan Bayh, combined with the fact that every single general election poll shows Hostettler performing better than Coats against every possible Democrat opponent, suggests that to be the case.

44) Hostettler sponsored a bill allowing parents not to get social security numbers for their children without having to forego their tax deduction.

45) When most Republicans voted to end the government shutdown of 1996 by passing the unbalanced budget Clinton wanted them to (driven in part by the presidential aspirations of Bob Dole), Hostettler was one of only a handful of Republicans to vote against it.

46) Anti-war Republican congressman, Walter Jones says, “The president [Bush] was calling people as late as 1 or 2 in the morning to get them to vote for the Medicare prescription drug benefit, John voted his conscience first, not his party…. I admire him so much. He knows more about the Constitution than almost anyone in Congress.”

47) The RNC member who was most active in recruiting Dan Coats, Jim Bopp, was the very same one who orchestrated the last minute rules change for the Indiana Republican state convention in 2008 that was used to prevent Ron Paul supporting delegates from exercising any influence on the delegate selection process there.

48) In legislation that Hostettler supports pursuant to his staunch socially conservative beliefs, he always takes an approach that is consistent with the 10th Amendment.

49) There were only 3 Republican senators who voted against the confirmation of Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the Supreme Court. If Hostettler were in the Senate for that vote, he would have been #4.

50) There were only 17 Republican Congressmen who opposed all 5 bailouts of 2008-2009. If Hostettler were in Congress at that time, he would have been #18.

Non-Violent Resistance

It seems as though this should go without saying, but sometimes the most obvious of things must be stated loudly and clearly.

With that, the Cincinnati 9/12 Project, in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,rejects violence of any kind and we ask all Americans to join us in affirming this seemingly obvious position.

The Cincinnati 9/12 Project never has, and never will tolerate violence at any of the events or demonstrations
we sponsor, participate in, or in any of the statements we make. While we have strong disagreements with some of our fellow Americans on the size and purpose of Government, we are committed always to the principles of nonviolence in our thoughts, speech, and actions.

We would like to ask all supporters of the Cincinnati 9/12 Project, and all Americans, to join us in this pledge of nonviolence, best exemplified in the pledge and principles posted here, inspired by the teachings of Dr. King and others like him, who have fought for Liberty, Equal Justice, the Rule of Law, and the Principles of the Constitution.

Please, forward this Pledge and Statement of Principles to everyone you know; Print them out and carry them with you as a constant reminder and proof of your dedication to nonviolence. Those organizing events and demonstrations, insist that all attendees read and agree to these principles.

Pledge of Nonviolence

1. As you prepare to march meditate on the life and teachings of Jesus

2. Remember the nonviolent movement seeks justice and reconciliation - not victory.

3. Walk and talk in the manner of love; for God is love.

4. Pray daily to be used by God that all men and women might be free.

5. Sacrifice personal wishes that all might be free.

6. Observe with friend and foes the ordinary rules of courtesy.

7. Perform regular service for others and the world.

8. Refrain from violence of fist, tongue and heart.

9. Strive to be in good spiritual and bodily health.

10. Follow the directions of the movement leaders and of the captains on demonstrations.

The Five Principles of Non-Violence

1. Non-violent resistance is not a method for cowards. It does resist. The nonviolent resister is just as strongly opposed to the evil against which he protests, as is the person who uses violence. His method is passive or
nonaggressive in the sense that he is not physically aggressive toward his opponent, but his mind and emotions are always active, constantly seeking to persuade the opponent that he is mistaken. This method is passive physically but strongly active spiritually; it is nonaggressive physically but dynamically aggressive spiritually.

2. Nonviolent resistance does not seek to defeat or humiliate the opponent, but to win his friendship and understanding. The nonviolent resister must often express his protest through noncooperation or boycotts, but he realizes that noncooperation and boycotts are not ends themselves; they are merely means to awaken a sense of moral shame in the opponent.

3. The attack is directed against forces of evil rather than against persons who are caught in those forces. It is a struggle between justice and injustice, between the forces of light and the forces of darkness.

4. Nonviolent resistance avoids not only external physical violence, but also internal violence of spirit. At the center of non-violence stands the principle of love.

5. Nonviolence is based on the conviction that the universe is on the side of justice. It is the deep faith in the future that allows a nonviolent resister to accept suffering without retaliation. The nonviolent resister knows that in his struggle for justice, he has a cosmic companionship.

Please join us in signing the online petition affirming these principles at

Border line insanity

Maybe Napolitano should recruit these as border guards?

Graham to Napolitano: Are our southern borders secure?

First of all I do not agree with Senator Lindsey Graham on many issues. He is a RINO and progressive right Republican. Like fellow RINO John McCain, he has been wrong on many issues, including amnesty. One popular talk show host even refers to Graham as Lindsey Grahamnesty. But the other day he made a few good points concerning the need to secure our borders. He said if Comprehensive Immigration ‘Reform’ (CIR-cus) is brought up in Congress without first securing our borders, it will be defeated.

The video below is a 10 minute questioning of Napolitano by Graham during a Senate committee session dealing with the issue of illegal aliens.. The video below is telling as far as how deceitful and dishonest the Administration is regarding the matter of border security. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano could not or would not answer the simple question asked of her by Graham.

That question at the 6:00 minute mark in the video was, “Do you think it (our southern border) is secure?” Graham again asked Napolitano at the 7:35 minute mark, “Would you certify that the Arizona border is secure?” Can you believe she answered with a “beyond-my-pay-grade” type of response, claiming among other things, that the question was ‘unfair.’ What is unfair is the tragic lack of secure borders and the lack of enforcement of our federal laws by the both the Bush and the Soetoro/Obama administrations?

Equal, not social, justice!

Equal justice, not social justice! Equal justice treats everyone the same under the law. Social justice is another term for socialism or Marxism or statist. Social justice seeks to give preference to some group over another.
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, who I have heard referred to as the 'justice brothers,' are examples of those who spew and promote a venomous 'social justice' line. They seek to circumvent the law and treat persons unequally. Both of these people play the race card, both race to any place to get their face on TV as promoters of so-called 'social justice.' But in the end they are nothing more than self-promoters and advocate a radically socialist agenda. Both are a disgrace.

Adoption not abortion!

The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch runs a regular feature in its newspaper identifying an important issue to the local community and asking the vote of the readers on that issue along with comments. Occasionally I will respond and comment on the issue raised, as I did to yesterday’s topic.

The Hot Issue:

Should more safeguards be placed on adoptions from foreign countries?

_X_ Yes
___ No

My Response:

The following is an unabridged version of my response to the question above.

Yes. But a real source of babies that is untapped is all of the babies being exterminated right now by abortionists throughout this land. On one hand there are people desperate to kill their babies, while on the other equally desperate people wanting to adopt. Stop abortions. Start adoptions domestic and foreign!

Is our President racist?

· Is our President racist?

· Is our President again playing the race card in immigration ‘reform’ (amnesty)?

· Will our President’s legacy be that he was the “Great Divider”?

Yes, yes, and yes to the above questions. Twenty years in Jeremiah Wrights' racist black liberation congregation is telling. his morning driving between jobs I listened to a few minutes of the Frank Beckman Radio Show on Detroit’s WJR radio station. The caller was a Mexican-American, who originally came to the U.S. on a student visa, he met a beautiful American woman in college, married her and returned to Mexico to get the proper paperwork to obtain a green card. He did it the right way. He did it the legal way. Did he object to what was being done in Arizona to crack down on illegal aliens? No way, he supports the effort in Arizona.

Instead on praising Arizona for showing courage to dare to enforce the immigration laws that the Federal Government under Bush and the current occupier of the White House did not or are still not doing, they do the opposite. To make matters worse, the Soetoro/Obama administration condemns Arizona for passing legislation declaring illegal immigration, just that – illegal immigration. That is indeed shameful.

It’s a tiresome truism to have to continually repeat. We must first secure our borders, and then we must begin to enforce the laws like Arizona is courageously doing, and simultaneously we must crack down on the employers who along with our government flaunt the law! Why are we resisting the obvious? Are we doing it for the hope of building or expanding a political party’s power base?

Not only are our President/s agenda items radical. He uses race to bait and bolster his political position and power. In a video, of which I heard later today, he speaks to his backers asking them to ignite their interest in the Fall election. He urges blacks, Hispanics, women and young people to do it again and to help preserve the “gains” the progressives have made under his enlightened regime’s reign. It certainly seems to me that the President is very divisive. It also seems to me that he is being pretty polarizing.

Like his fellow comrades in harm, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, he has made a career of using race to accomplish his evil aims. He is such a racist that he even supports the continued genocide of black babies in America via abortions. More black babies are massacred daily than another population group as much greater rates. The President adamantly supports even the funding and proliferation of eugenicist founded Planned Parenthood organization, the greatest slaughter house in America.

The President and his fellow Leftist elites in the media, Hollywood, academia and elsewhere are quick to condemn the mostly invented ‘violence’ of Tea Party protesters, but utter nary a word about the violence perpetrated by the supporters of the illegal immigrant demonstrators in Phoenix, several of whom threw water bottles at the police. What a double standard that exists today …

Abortion, what's Left

"Abortion is more than a means of birth control. It is a form of Satanic worship."

--- Sam

Here is a portion of an article, "Abortion, Baal Worship, and Breast Cancer," written by Donna Anderson on the website
"Abortion on demand is the Baal worship of modern times. King Ahab and Queen Jezebel led the Israelites in Baal worship and the sacrifice of children in the Old Testament. Ahaz went so far as to burn "his son as an offering" to Baal/Moloch, as did Manasseh (see 2 Kings 16:3; 21:6).
"Why would people make such terrible decisions? It was believed that human sacrifice to Baal held the key to prosperity. People desiring to live in selfish prosperity and ease brought their firstborn child to the high priest, where the child would be offered as a burnt offering to the deity.
"The altar of Baal was in the image of a bull with the head and shoulders of a man. Its arms extended outward and fire belched out from a hole in the chest. The priest of Baal placed the babies on the outstretched arms, where the child would be rolled into the fire. As the child died, the priest and priestess engaged in sexual intercourse, while an orgy occurred among the onlookers.
"A Baal cemetery unearthed recently contained the remains of more than twenty thousand children. The Greek author Kleitarchos described this practice of sacrificing infants to Baal three hundred years before Christ:
""Out of reverence for Kronos [Baal], the Phoenicians, and especially the Carthaginians, whenever they seek to obtain some great favor, vow one of their children, burning it as a sacrifice to the deity, if they are especially eager to gain success. There stands in their midst a bronze statue of Kronos, its hands extended over a bronze brazier, the flames of which engulf the child. When the flames fall on the body, the limbs contract and the open mouth seems almost to be laughing, until the contracted body slips quietly into the brazier."
"Ancients were led by Satan to kill their children for personal convenience and gain, while engaging in promiscuity. Modern Baal worshipers - a.k.a. abortionists."

Seth Morgan on Education in Ohio

GOP Ohio State Auditor Candidate Seth Morgan spoke at the Ohio statewide annual Eagle Forum meeting today. He talked primarily on the education system. Seth Morgan is currently a State Representative from the Dayton, Ohio area. He led the battle to obtain information on the evidence that Governor Ted Strickland claimed to have to support the so-called evidence-based plan. The video below is a brief excerpt where he explains how the Democratic governor and Democrats in the House changed the underlying system from child-based to unit-based.

Thomas Jefferson speaks to 21st Century America

I received these quotes from a coworker today. The quotes come from President Thomas Jefferson. This wisdom is as relevant and apropos today as they were 200+ years ago when first spoken or written. Too bad our current President does not have the ears to hear the salient advice offered by one of his predecessors. I added the topic titles ...

“When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as CORRUPT as Europe.”

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

“It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.”

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

“My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.”

In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Kristi Risk for Congress

I endorse Republican Kristi Risk for Congress (8th district Indiana) because of her strong support for right to life of the unborn and for the freedom of Americans against repressive government. If you live in this district, please remember to vote May 4th. Click here to donate to her campaign.

She believes that there no circumstances in which abortion should be legal. She is for the legal prohibition on all human cloning, including the creation of human embryos by human cloning. She opposes all federal funding for stem cell research that requires the destruction of human embryos as well as over seas funding of abortion and population control programs. She supports the full reversal of Roe vs. Wade so that elected state legislative bodies may once again protect unborn children by limiting or prohibiting abortion. She refuses to campaign for, publicly endorse, or contribute to a presidential candidate who supports abortion on demand.

Liberty Issues:

Kristi Risk is also an advocate of limited, Constitutional government. She answered “yes” to all of the following questions (supports all tax cuts mentioned in question #20). She supports the Fair Tax plan.

1. Will you cosponsor and call for roll call votes on Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill, designed to bring transparency to the Federal Reserve (H.R. 1207/ S. 604 in the 111th Congress)?

2. Will you support legislation removing capital gains and sales taxes on gold and silver coinage?

3. Will you vote to oppose any legislation that allows the federal government to prohibit the sale, use, or carrying of firearms?

4. Will you support a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution that includes hard spending limits and allows for no increase in taxes or other federal revenue enhancements?

5. Will you support legislation that forbids U.S. troops from serving under United Nations command?

6. Do you support and will you vote to protect states asserting their rights under the Tenth Amendment?

7. Will you oppose Big Labor's Card Check bill and any other legislation designed to empower union bosses?

8. Do you support U.S. withdrawal from the United Nations?

9. Will you support the American Sovereignty Act to restrict the Executive's ability to forge international agreements that lessen our sovereignty?

10. Will you oppose using U.S. forces to occupy a foreign nation without a declaration of war?

11. Will you oppose any attempt to nationalize our health care system, including any sort of public option for insurance?

12. Will you oppose so-called "Cap and Trade" legislation?

13. Will you vote to eliminate the IRS?

14. Will you vote against any budget that increases our debt?

15. Will you oppose federal power grabs like roving wiretaps and warrantless searches, and oppose Patriot Act renewal that includes such items?

16. Will you oppose any legislation that requires states and citizens to participate in a National Identification Card program?

17. Will you oppose the so-called "NAFTA Superhighway" and any move toward a North American Union?

18. Will you support legislation that ensures Members of Congress have at least 72 hours to read any bill before it is allowed to come to the House floor?

19. Will you oppose all tax increases?

20. Indicate the tax cuts you are willing to vote for:

  • Across the Board Income Tax Cut
  • Capital Gains Tax Cut
  • Business Tax Cut
  • Estate Tax Cut

Articles of Freedom, part 11

It’s been a while since I’ve written about the Articles of Freedom. I left off a few weeks ago at Article 9, so now I will go on to Article 10, the text of which follows my comments.

Here is my plan on this issue (monetary policy):

1. Immediately repeal or nullify all legal tender laws except for gold and silver coins at the state level.

2. All contracts made in Federal Reserve Notes, past, present and future would remain legally valid except securities purchased from the Federal Government and currently held by the Federal Reserve Banks would be declared void.

3. Abolish the Federal Reserve and its Board of Governors by repealing the Federal Reserve Act.

4. It may be necessary to temporarily fold portions of the Federal Reserve System into the Treasury Department. Federal Reserve notes will continue to pass out of existence as bank loans are paid off.

5. Increase the Federal production of gold and silver coins.

The CC09 plan doesn’t specifically have all things, but I agree with everything they say in this Article 10. It is also worth noting that as Federal Reserve Notes are phased out, the federal income taxes should be phased out as well--laws indicating that transactions in gold or silver coins should be exempt direct, unapportioned taxes.

1. The Congress of the United States, in the exercise of its power authorized by Article I, Section 8, Clause 5 of the Constitution for the United States of America, “[t]o Coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin,” shall enact a statute:

(a) establishing a National Advisory Commission on Alternative and Competitive Currency, and

(b) calling upon each of the several States to establish their own State Advisory Commission on Alternative and Competitive Currency.

2. That the sole purpose of the said Advisory Commissions shall be to study and recommend the means by which each State individually, and the several States and Congress collectively, can promote the adoption by both the several States and the United States, as rapidly as possible, of an economically sound and Constitutional alternative and competitive currency, which shall:

(a) consist exclusively of silver and gold, the units to consist of 371.25 grains (troy) fine silver and 371.25 grains (troy) fine gold, which shall be subject to transfer from one party to another in both an electronic form measurable in any number of units, as well in tenths, hundredths, and thousandths of a unit, and the form of coins (whether of traditional or nontraditional shapes) of convenient weights consisting of multiples of the units or common fractions thereof;

(b) gradually be introduced as the media of exchange in all of the financial transactions of the governments of each of the several States and of the United States, so as in a measured manner to minimize and finally supplant the use in such transactions of Federal Reserve Notes or bank balances payable in those notes to the maximum degree possible consistent with the general welfare; and

(c) eventually supplant the use of such notes or balances in all private monetary transactions within and among each of the several States to such degree as the free market determines economically appropriate.

(d) That the National Advisory Commission shall be composed of the following persons: {…here shall be listed the proposed members of the Commission…}.

3. 1. That the Legislature in the exercise of its reserved power under Article I, Section 10, Clause 1 and the 10th Amendment, as well as other provisions of the Constitution for the United States, shall adopt a currency, other than that emitted by Congress, for use in all the financial transactions of the State. These shall by statute establish an Advisory Commission on Alternative and Competitive Currency for the State, the purpose of which shall be to study and recommend:

(ii) such legislation as may be necessary and proper for the State to enact in order to guarantee that the citizens of the State may employ such alternative and competitive currency in all of their private economic transactions free from any form of taxation, reporting, or other regulation by the State or agency thereof, that increases in cost, hinders, deters, discourages, delays, or renders cumbersome the use of such currency, or the consummation of transactions in which such currency is the medium of payment, in comparison to the same use of, or the consummation of similar transactions involving, Federal Reserve Notes or bank balances payable in such notes.

2. That the Advisory Commission shall be composed of the following persons: {…here list the proposed members of the Commission…}.

3. 4. That the Legislature shall, within sixty (60) days from its receipt of the drafts of legislation submitted by the Advisory Commission pursuant to Paragraph 3, ante, enact such legislation as will achieve the goals set out in Paragraph 1, ante.

1. Encourages networks of like-minded individuals to increasingly buy hard money coinage to use among their communities with the goal of increasing financial independence, and

2. That the aforementioned individuals, upon having established trade procedures in said hard money, shall be prepared for the replacement of the unconstitutional Federal Reserve upon its failure or abolition.
