IN the previous post we talked about social media and its opposition to telling the truth. In this post we will discuss social justice and its twisting of the truth. We also discussed social justice and equal justice previously (see Day 85 post).

 

Democratic Deception

The cry of the Left, the cry of the Democrats is social justice. What happened to good old-fashioned justice? Why must social justice be hyphenated? Why does ‘American’ need a qualifier, such as Hispanic-American, Hungarian-American, Asian-American, Italian-America, Native American, African-American etc.? Aren’t we all Americans?

 

Social Justice

The dictionary definition of justice is the “fair treatment of all people in a society, including respect for the rights of minorities and equitable distribution of resources among members of a community.”

Investopedia.com’s definition for social justice is “a political and philosophical theory which asserts that there are dimensions to the concept of justice beyond those embodied in the principles of civil or criminal law, economic supply and demand, or traditional moral frameworks. Social justice tends to focus more on just relations between groups within society as opposed to the justice of individual conduct or justice for individuals.”

Above all, social justice is a Marxist concept best explain by Julie Roy’s assessment of the concept:  “Proponents of social justice view the world through a Marxist lens that places people into two categories - that of being either the oppressed or the oppressor. Because of slavery, gender inequalities, and the antipathy toward the Judeo-Christian view of the family, the oppressed generally are believed to be minorities, women, and homosexuals.”

One component of social justice that has infiltrated academia, the government deep state, the Democratic Party and the mainstream media is intersectionality, which we discuss next.

 

Intersectionality

OxfordRefernce.com describes intersectionality as, “The theory that various forms of discrimination centered on race, gender, class, disability, sexuality, and other forms of identity, do not work independently but interact to produce particularized forms of social oppression. As such, oppression is the result of intersecting forms of exclusionary practices. It is thus suggested that the study of identity-based discrimination needs to identify and take account of these intersectionalities.” Another source defined intersectionality as, “the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage.”

My reply to intersectionality is that there is only one race, the human race, but there are many ethnicities. There are only two sexes/genders, male and female.

The Left, including the Democratic Party, wages war on the classes. They pit on class of persons against another to advance their regressive agenda.

This is all part of revolutionary tactics meant to disrupt and eventually to destroy societies and fundamentally transform them into a Marxist utopia, which is a proven impossibility. The title of one Internet article says it all, “Social Justice is Marxism i.e. Cancer.”

 

Accusations and Strategies of the Left

The Democrats use social justice as a tactic to hurt President Trump, conservatism, and Christianity. The cries of racism, white supremacy, homophobia, transphobia, etc. are tossed around incessantly. Even in education schools are teaching the lies about the founding of the nation using the 1619 Project or the Comprehensive (and pornographic) Sex Education (CSE) programs by Planned Parenthood and others.

On the other hand, President Trump and some Republicans want justice to be served to the likes of Hillary Clinton, James Comey, John Brennan, etc. for their cover-up crimes.

OUR prison system should be built around restitution, which may include work done to repay the victims of crimes. We should not coddle prisoners. Prison is meant to be punishment. Criminals give up their rights when they commit a crime.

 

Democrats View of Prison and Criminal Reform

Prison Reform

To deal with “over-incarceration” most Democrats prefer reducing the severity of sentencing and early for some crimes to reduce the number of prisoners. Because several states have legalized marijuana for both medicinal and recreational purposes, many Democrats favor doing so on a federal level removing the criminal aspect of using this gateway drug (see the Day 25 post), which may be cause even more severe crimes in the long-run.

Democratic Prosecutors Too Easy on Criminals

George Soros funded organization supporting more radical Democratic local prosecutors and state attorney generals have created an environment in which criminal rioters, arsonist, looters, vandals and physical assaulters have been let off for crimes committed. These just encourages more crimes 

At the same time Democrat governors have allow prisoners out of prison early supposedly due to the Communist Chinese coronavirus. These persons may have ended up joining rioters as well.

 

Private Prisons

Democrats also do not like private prisons. According to a Politico.com  article, the Obama “Justice Department sought to end the use of private prisons to house federal inmates, directing the Bureau of Prisons to wind down its use of the contracted for--profit facilities, a move then reversed by President Trump's first attorney general early in his administration. Private prisons can be a good alternative, just like charter and private schools can be good alternatives to public schools.

 

Republican View of Criminal Reform and Prisons

The Republican Party platform points out tow grave problems undermine the rule of law on the federal level: Over-criminalization and over-federalization. Over-criminalization leads to over-incarceration as identified also by the Democrats Over-federalization leads to excessive and stifling regulations.

Restorative Justice

The Republican platform also states, “Along with diversion of first-time, nonviolent offenders to community sentencing, accountability courts, drug courts, veterans treatment courts, and guidance by faith-based institutions with proven track records of rehabilitation, our platform emphasized restorative justice to make the victim whole and put the offender on the right path…

Mandatory Minimum Sentencing

“… Modifications to (mandatory minimum sentencing) should be targeted toward particular categories, especially nonviolent offenders and persons with drug, alcohol, or mental health issues, and should require disclosure by the courts of any judicial departure from the state’s sentencing requirements.

Death Penalty

 The Republicans also want to see the death penalty used as a deterrent to criminal behavior. It’s constitutional, but the Democrats also they support the death penalty for innocent unborn human beings (abortion) they condemn the death penalty for convicted murderers, how is that justice?

Tomorrow we will another possible way to reform the prison system, with an emphasis on restitution and decreasing recidivism.

Rush Limbaugh on his Morning Minute spot today (Monday, 8.10.2020) commented on a new bill introduced in both Houses of Congress that sheds light on what direction the communistic Democratic Party likely would take if they gain control of Congress and the Presidency this fall.  The following is a transcription of Rush’s commentary, which highlights the dangers to America and our free-enterprise system under a Democratic dominated government. The Democrats propose to use the Federal Reserve as a social justice enforcement agency.

Hey folks, this is a teachable moment Democrats just introduced a a new bill which tells you everything you need to about them. The Democrat Racial Economic Equity Act would require the Federal Reserve to enforce quotas throughout the entire U.S. economy.  Now under this act the Feds would have to devise policies to minimize and eliminate racial disparities in employment, wages and wealth. The feds would also have to prevent disparities in access to affordable credit.

Now the Senate sponsors of this race-based monstrosity are (Sen.) Elizabeth Warren and (Sen.) Kirsten Gillibrand In the House the bill is sponsored by (Rep.) Maxine Waters.

Now instead of dealing with the nation’s money supply, keeping watch on inflation, interest rates etc. the Federal Reserve would be transformed into an all-powerful social justice enforcement agency. Using racial fairness as a cover, Democrats want to give the Feds a new mission to force banks and financial markets to adopt the radical left socialist agenda.

They want centralized control over the economy without checks and balances form Congress or the Executive branch. Right now, the bill won’t get past the Republican Senate or President Trump. But if the Democrats regain power the enactment of this thing could be a virtual certainty. This is all out and out Marxism.  It is anti-free market; it would end of American prosperity. That why the Democrats love it. That’s why Democrats want it.

Social justice and Justice are not the same

The Democrats emphasize social justice at the expense of or instead of real justice. Here are some definitions of those two terms:

Social justice: uniform state distribution of society's advantages and disadvantages. Social justice is really the capacity to organize with others to accomplish ends that benefit the whole community.

Justice:  The virtue which consists in giving to everyone what is his due; practical conformity to the laws and to principles of rectitude in the dealings of men with each other; honesty; integrity in commerce or mutual intercourse.

Social justice emphasizes groups and the collective society, while justice emphasizes individual rights and freedom. Like Rush indicated if the Democrats win in this year’s General Election, it will deal and death blow to an already shaky economy due the government overreaction and overreach to the Communist Chinese coronavirus. That is why this election is the most consequential in all of this nation’s history.

Forgiven, the Trial of Amber Guyger

Is the Progressive Left in America in 2019 so hardened, so dogmatic, so Christophobic, so cynical, so closed-minded, so intolerant, so uninformed, so divisive, so heartless, so hyper partisan as to be unable to recognize, accept or to realize even the possibility that pure, unadulterated forgiveness is still possible in today’s jaded world? “Yes” seems to be the answer.

So, what are the Left's solutions to the perceived injustice by many on the Left see in the punishment given in the case of the murder of Botham Jean? Do we just accept and maintain the thinking that police are evil and that racism continues to exist on rampant levels in this nation? Do we change our justice system to build in more just punishment for "white on black" crimes? Do we eliminate the police forces or take their guns from them? 

Or do we just reject any sign or instance of reconciliation and continue to fuel and foment racial hatred and division to cause chaos (civil war) in order to quicken or usher in the establishment of a socialist or Marxist utopian state thereby bringing about full equality (or enslavement) to the masses?

Isn't the example of forgiveness shown by the brother of the murder victim enough to spark a revival of real racial reconciliation instead of looking for another incident to reinforce division among the "races" for political reasons?

I do not believe that Amber Guyger was/is a racist. However, even assuming that she was/is, wouldn’t the fact that Brandt (the victim's brother) forgave her demonstrate the power of true forgiveness even more? Brandt’s desire for Amber was not punishment, as he sincerely expressed in the courtroom, but was that she be reconciled to God through faith in Jesus Christ and be forgiven by Him.

Amber’s remorse, regret and acceptance of Brandt’s forgiveness for the mistaken murder of his brother Botham, that wasn’t enough proof for the Left that forgiveness is real and works and can bridge any racial divide? Even Judge Tammy Kemp, put Amber away for 10 years wanted to see her reconciled to God and move on from the horror of this tragedy.

America needs hope, restoration, reconciliation and not more fomentation of hatred and violence that seems to motivate and characterize the rhetoric, the reactions and the actions of much of the Left.

Time for HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to Resign

 



There is a lot of news lately about the murder of 20 kindergartners in Newton, CT. The mainstream media is laser focused on this story. So are other progressives, who are licking their chops at the opportunity of taking advantage of another "crisis" to advance thier liberty-robbing agenda. We will hear much about the need to control guns, rather than the real contributor to the massacre: the removal of God, the Bible, and Judeo-Christian ethics and values from the classroom, the courtroom and the culture! And what about the prime perpetrator of the American Holocaust, Planned Parenthood and the millions murdered by that evil enterprise? Here is a little covered story, which may give another of President Obama's pro-death comrades a headache, too.

The video above and the text below are from the pro-life American Life League (ALL), which has a petition calling on President Barack "No Problem with Partial Birth Abortions and the Murder of Failed Abortion Babies" Obama's pro-death advocate and current Health and Human Service Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, to immediately resign for her part in the cover-up and destruction of documents in the Kansas Planned Parenthood case. That case involved Planned Parenthood's failure to report child rape victims who were forced to used their gruesome services.

"ALL has called on Sebelius to resign due to the scandal.

“"“At a time when the implementation of major changes to our health systems is drawing near we need a HHS secretary the people can trust to uphold the law and with the time to devote fully to the operation of that area of the government,” said Jim Sedlak, ALL’s vice president. “It is becoming clear that Secretary Sebelius is going to be distracted by the likely criminal allegations against her and her administration in Kansas.”

"“As the leader of ALL’s efforts against Planned Parenthood we have long known of the connections between that organization and Sebelius,” Sedlak said. “With the growing data being unearthed by organizations and individuals in Kansas, it appears her legal culpability will be much larger than first thought. Now is the time for Secretary Sebelius to resign. Anything less would be a disservice to the American people and to those who believe that government officials are not above the law and their positions should be used to serve the public: not to thwart the law in order to advance individual ideology.”

"Responding to the scandal, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt has asked the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office to launch an investigation. He said he has asked the Shawnee County sheriff to investigate and asked the county’s district attorney to handle any resulting case.

“’(Schmidt) wants a complete, separate investigation from an outside law enforcement agency,’ Sheriff Dick Barta said, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal. ‘That’s why we were requested to do that.’”
During a recent hearing, District Attorney Steve Howe explained to Judge Stephen Tatum that former Attorney General Steve Six had destroyed the copies of Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) forms obtained through subpoena under former Attorney General Phill Kline. The destruction took place after Kline had filed the charges and while the case was under appeal. Howe indicated that the destruction of the evidence by Six “may have violated their own retention policy.”

“Howe stunned pro-life supporters when he told Judge Tatum that the original TOP forms submitted by Planned Parenthood to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) had been destroyed in 2005 “for reasons still unclear.”

“The forms were critical evidence since a copy of the forms were supposed to be maintained in the patient files. However, when Kline received the patient files after three years of legal wrangling, it was discovered that the forms submitted to KDHE and the forms in the patient records did not match. Judge Richard Anderson had the forms analyzed by police handwriting evidence and determined that the forms in the patient filed had been manufactured.

“Recently, Operation Rescue received documents via an open records request that shows on August 10, 2005, Planned Parenthood’s Sheila Kostas made an e-mail request for information on all the TOP forms submitted by their organization for the years 2000-2004. The Kansas Supreme Court was set to hear oral arguments just a few weeks later on September 5, 2005, concerning weather Planned Parenthood and late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller would have to comply with subpoenas for patient records.

“The records show that KDHE’s Greg Crawford complied with Kosta’s request the following day. Information supplied by Crawford could have easily been used by Planned Parenthood to fill out bogus TOP forms and insert them into the patient files to cover up for the fact that they had not maintained the records as required by law.

“Without the original forms or the copies obtained by Kline, Howe told the court that he was left with an incomplete set of copies and cannot establish a chain of custody for them, making the legal hurdles in continuing the prosecution of the felony charges “insurmountable.”

"Howe did express that he is proceeding on the remaining 58 criminal counts. The next hearing in the case was set for February 22, 2012.

"“Steve Six must be held accountable for this destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, who was present at the hearing. “What we have is a conspiracy to destroy evidence in order to protect Planned Parenthood. The more we learn, the more apparent it becomes that former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius is at the heart of this political corruption. She appointed Six and controlled him and the KDHE under her administration. We must have an aggressive investigation of this scandal.”

"Schmidt, who defeated Six in his 2010 bid for re-election, received applause from OR for his request for the investigation.

"“We hope this investigation will be done impartially and without the political bias that tainted the Sebelius administration,” said Newman. “While we are disappointed and troubled that the felony charges cannot proceed, we are pleased that 58 very serious counts related to illegal late-term abortions are moving forward. There is still some hope that a small measure of justice can still be achieved.”

"Kansans for Life Executive Director, Mary Kay Culp, attended the hearing and said that Planned Parenthood’s attorney again went on a diatribe against Phill Kline and how the case had always been without merit.

"She told LifeNews, “Despite Planned Parenthood’s pathetic efforts to once again use Phill Kline as a distraction, the facts are that two judges found probable cause to believe Planned Parenthood committed felonies, and the only reason it can’t be proved is selective and purposeful destruction of evidence at what may have been the very highest level of Kansas government.”

“"At least four things need to happen,” Culp said, “a full scale investigation by current AG Schmidt into the destruction of evidence, possible ethics charges against former AG Steve Six and co-conspirators, a vigorous prosecution of Planned Parenthood by D.A. Howe for the remaining charges of illegal late-term abortions, and a full review of this case in its entirety by the Kansas Legislature.”"

It will be interesting and instructive to follow this case, to see if justice is still obtainable in this Leftist dominated government and court system! Non-Violent Resistance

It seems as though this should go without saying, but sometimes the most obvious of things must be stated loudly and clearly.

With that, the Cincinnati 9/12 Project, in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,rejects violence of any kind and we ask all Americans to join us in affirming this seemingly obvious position.

The Five Principles of Non-Violence

1. Non-violent resistance is not a method for cowards. It does resist. The nonviolent resister is just as strongly opposed to the evil against which he protests, as is the person who uses violence. His method is passive or
nonaggressive in the sense that he is not physically aggressive toward his opponent, but his mind and emotions are always active, constantly seeking to persuade the opponent that he is mistaken. This method is passive physically but strongly active spiritually; it is nonaggressive physically but dynamically aggressive spiritually.

2. Nonviolent resistance does not seek to defeat or humiliate the opponent, but to win his friendship and understanding. The nonviolent resister must often express his protest through noncooperation or boycotts, but he realizes that noncooperation and boycotts are not ends themselves; they are merely means to awaken a sense of moral shame in the opponent.

3. The attack is directed against forces of evil rather than against persons who are caught in those forces. It is a struggle between justice and injustice, between the forces of light and the forces of darkness.

4. Nonviolent resistance avoids not only external physical violence, but also internal violence of spirit. At the center of non-violence stands the principle of love.

5. Nonviolence is based on the conviction that the universe is on the side of justice. It is the deep faith in the future that allows a nonviolent resister to accept suffering without retaliation. The nonviolent resister knows that in his struggle for justice, he has a cosmic companionship.

The Tribal Prosecutorial Sovereignty Act

As Christians and conservatives, we shouldn't just demand that our representatives vote against unjust laws and for the just ones. We need to be writing our own legislation. Below is an example, and while it isn't the most important issue facing our nation today, it is a matter of life and death, a least for a few people. Read on and you'll see why. Please introduce the following bill into the Congress:

A BILL

To repeal the federal criminal law commonly known as the Major Crimes Act.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE

This Act may be cited as the 'The Tribal Prosecutorial Sovereignty Act'.

SECTION 2. FINDINGS

The Congress finds as follows:

(1) The incident which led to the enactment of the Major Crimes Act was a case in which an Indian received a small punishment for the murder of an Indian from another tribe. This was perceived as a great injustice at that time.

(2) Though we concur that such incidents are in fact a travesty of justice, we find that such legislation, having passed over one hundred years ago, is no longer necessary for the reason that the culture of the Indian people has been influenced over the years by Americans who find that harsher punishments are more appropriate.

(3) The Major Crimes Act punished all Indian tribes with the loss of their sovereignty, likely because of just one incident, which was not, even then, characteristic of all tribal law enforcement entities.

(4) In recent years, the Major Crimes Act has had the opposite effect of what was intended. Under this Act, tribal law enforcement is no longer allowed to enforce its own laws against serious crimes such as theft, rape, and murder, but instead must be enforced by federal law enforcement agencies. These cases often never even come to trial because of the backlog which exists in the caseload of the U.S. Attorneys’ offices.

(5) The Major Crimes Act is in violation of several treaties made with Indian tribes.

SECTION 3. REPEAL OF THE MAJOR CRIMES ACT

Section 1153 of title 18, United States Code, is repealed.

China received some very bad press from even the mainstream media (i.e. the very bad press) for its tainted food products, which it apparently routinely ships to and which are peddled in America along with a variety of other cheap Chinese-manufactured junk. Recently it was also reported that other products like radial tires unraveling on the road were being imported and sold here as real tires.

What do you expect when you pay and treat your employees the way the Chinese government does its slave labor? Chinese workers LITERALLY work in slave conditions and slave wages, because many actually ARE slaves, or virtual slaves!

Unbeknownst to most Americans, we - taxpayers and Wal*Mart shoppers - are funding not only the War on Terror, but China's military build up and its support of our enemies - the terrorists. It is time to put an end to the free flow of cheap substandard goods coming from China and our unlimited flushing of our money down the toilet leading to China. We need to support American manufacturers and retailers who sell American goods. Avoid buying Chinese wherever and whenever you can.

And to think this atheistic, communist, social state like Red China is what American radical liberals lead by the likes of Speaker Nancy "the humble and self-proclaimed most powerful woman in the world" Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry "the political hack" Reid, are trying to replicate here in the United States of America. They are actually working through the courts and with their priority bills in Congress to transform our Democratic Republic form of government into a socialist state.

I hope that the majority of Americans will have their eyes opened wide to the reality of what the Pelosi-Reid lead (astray) Congress is trying to do to America. Furthermore, I hope that they see that a Rodham-Clinton Obama ticket would be equally or even more destructive. I would love to see the American voters move as swiftly as the Chinese in executing their wrong-doers such as what they did to their food and drug czar. American voters need to exercise our ability to execute justice by excising Congress of the manufacturers and supporters of socialism and communistic ideals such as Pelosi and Reid and preventing a Rodham-Clinton and/or Obama or an Edwards from an occupation of the White House.

Is justice really blind in our courts?

I was on jury duty last week. After being transferred from the Grand Jury to the Petit Jury, I was called with 15 other potential jurors to a courtroom for Voir Dire. Eight of us sat in the jury box and eight sat behind the litigants. The judge asked us if we knew any of the litigants or any lawyers in the case or any lawyers that worked for the same law firm as any of the lawyers in the case. The case was a civil lawsuit, having to do with an automobile accident and medical bills which were allegedly caused by the accident.

Then the plaintiff’s attorney asked if anyone had sued, been sued, had an injury that required surgery, had physical therapy, and other such questions. If anyone said yes, then they asked more specific questions, some very personal. He also asked more questions about any connections to the legal profession that anyone had. One man said his brother was a lawyer and another juror was a legal secretary.

The defense attorney kept asking us a question about whether or not we would think that it is possible for someone to exaggerate an injury in order to win a case. The plaintiff’s attorney kept objecting, and the defense attorney kept rephrasing it. A side bar was called, the defense attorney rephrased the question again, and the plaintiff’s attorney objected again. This was an obvious ploy by the defense to plant an idea in our heads. He knew that it would be objected to and sustained.

Each lawyer seemed to try to act like they didn’t know what they were doing in order to gain our sympathy, clamoring for every inch of advantage. How pathetic.

Then the defense attorney asked us more such questions. He asked me about my occupation. I gave a technical answer about what I do (I am a scientist). One juror asked to speak with the lawyers and the judge in private and when they were done, the judge said that this juror was dismissed “with cause”. One of the other eight potential jurors was called to replace him. Then each attorney grilled this juror as they had done us.

Each attorney was allowed to remove up to three jurors without giving a reason (a peremptory challenge). The plaintiff’s attorney declined this opportunity, but the defense attorney challenged the man whose brother was a lawyer. Then I was the next to go.

I think that it is unfair to force potential jurors to answer such personal questions that have nothing to with the case. The judge’s questions were reasonable for the most part. I think that all Voir Dire questions should limited to those which determine if a juror or someone the juror knows would stand to gain anything by a certain result in the case. Attorneys should not be allowed to choose or reject jurors based on their experiences, occupation, or beliefs. I think it is especially unfair to remove jurors because they have knowledge of some subject, such as science, so that this will be to their advantage if the preponderance of scientific evidence is in favor of the opposing side. I think that peremptory challenges should be limited to one for criminal cases and none for civil cases.

Here is a case that is illustrative of the present sad state of affairs in America today. Frederick was a senior high school anarchist who goaded the establishment as he simultaneously insulted Jesus Christ and Christians everywhere. If this was Iran and if the insulted “religious” figure was Mohammed this would be an open-and- off-with-Fredericks-head case. But alas, America has fallen into the black hole of Political Correctness where justice has cataracts. I first saw the story this weekend on AOL.

THE PLAYERS

The Plaintiff:
High School Principal Deborah “Must-Be-Wrong-of-Course” Morse representing law and order, sanity and reason. Kenneth Starr, the principal’s attorney, who has offered his pro bono services.

The Defendant:
Joseph “I never professed to be a saint” Frederick“ representing all the worst elements of a spoiled, ungrateful self-centered attention-seeking rabble-rousing troublemaking punk. Representing St. Joe, the ACLU. You might expect to see these defenders of anything-and-everything-anti-American-and-anti-Christian leeching onto a case like this.

THE ISSUE

(1) Whether the First Amendment allows public schools to prohibit students from displaying messages promoting the use of illegal substances at school-sponsored, faculty-supervised events.

(2) Whether the Ninth Circuit departed from established principles of qualified immunity in holding that a public high school principal was liable in a damages lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 when, pursuant to the school district’s policy against displaying messages promoting illegal substances, she disciplined a student for displaying a large banner with a slang marijuana reference at a school-sponsored, faculty-supervised event.

SUPREME COURT HEARING

The United States Supreme Court heard arguments today in this case. Why is this even a case at all? The extremely liberal activist 9th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, home of hopefully soon to be impeached Judge Stephen Reinhardt, overruled the lower court.

INSULTING JESUS, OK?

Of no apparent concern to anyone was the offensive slam of the Lord Jesus Christ on the sign in the above photo. It is offensive to me. It was more offensive than the pro-drug message, as despicable as that is itself. You can denigrate Jesus Christ or Christianity to whatever degree you want. However, hypocritically, the right to free speech or freedom to express one’s religion does not apply in a government school.

You cannot speak about Jesus, carry or read a Bible, sing a Christmas song, question evolution, display a nativity scene, acknowledge Jesus in anyway in your Valedictorian speech, or pray publicly before a football game. Why is this so? Because doing so is considered the establishment of religion. We must keep a clear separation of church and state. This is baloney with mustard on it. But you can ridicule, insult and blaspheme the name of Jesus without restraint. This is how muddled it gets when liberal thinking is allowed to be played out to the extreme.

MY "RULING" IN THIS CASE

Nine times out of ten you can bet that when the ACLU takes a case, or when the 9th Federal Circuit Court hands down a ruling both are usually on the wrong side of the right or prper decision. That alone should give you a clue as to how I or any person with commonsence or common decency would rule.

That being said, I think that a school and a Principal have a right to set standards. A student has the right to violate those standards. If he or she does they should be prepared to pay the consequences. The ridiculous assertion by the 9th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals that the Principal violated the constitutional rights of the student belies its grossly liberal and ACLU- sympathizing bias of that court. The 9th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals should be broken up.

I would rule in this case for the plaintiff and against the defendant as well as against the 9th Federal Circuit Court, the ACLU and the society so reticent to object more loudly to the flagrant insult of Jesus Christ and Christianity by the liberal elite of the land and their comrades in harm.

THE MEASURE OF A BOY

An interesting side note to this story was an article today that revealed, “Frederick, who teaches English and studies Mandarin in China, was not expected at the high court for the argument. Two years after the banner incident, Frederick pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of selling marijuana, according to Texas court records.” That may give us a glimpse at the character of this individual. Communist China may be the perfect place for this fellow. He will have many who will share his apparent disdain at least for Jesus Christ.
