According to a recent email I received from the American Family Association (AFA), which says, “Procter & Gamble has resumed using explicit, open-mouth homosexual kissing in their soap opera, "As the World Turns." P&G decided to include this type of content as a commitment to "diversity." P&G stopped showing such scenes some months ago, but has now decided to again help promote the homosexual agenda which includes homosexual marriage.
”(Homosexual) activists are hopeful that the P&G effort will desensitize viewers to the homosexual lifestyle and help make the unhealthy and immoral lifestyle more acceptable to society, especially to children and youth.
”View a scene from the April 23, 2008 episode by P&G. WARNING – content is repulsive!
”"As the World Turns" is owned and controlled completely by P&G. No network made this decision. P&G alone made the decision to support the homosexual agenda.”
TAKE ACTION
AFA encourages all Christians and conservatives who believe traditional values to notify P&G. AFA has even provided a sample letter for you to send to P&G’s Chairman Lafley. AFA strongly suggests that we add a personal message.
*** P&G's products include Tide, Crest and Pampers.
*** Please go to the American Family Association website under the "Take Action" section at the top of the page and click on the Procter & Gamble link and Send an e-mail to P&G Chairman A.G. Lafley. Here is what I would personally include in the email to P&G’s Chairman:
“. . . Instead of working to strengthen and support traditional families and American values, under the guise of “diversity” you promote the homosexual agenda, which in essence is an immoral, unhealthy, unnatural and primarily a learned or acquired lifestyle . . . Homosexual behavior is very destructive and hurtful to this society as a whole.
“Your continued support for the homosexual agenda has caused me to personally stop purchasing many of your products. I encourage you to do all you can to support only wholesome traditional families and values.”
P & G should stand for Pornography and Graphic. I am ashamed that part of my salary comes from that wicked corporation. (I am a scientist at a state university and P&G is part of a conglomerate which has partially funded my research through a corporate grant.)
ReplyDeleteSo out of everything viewed on soap operas, from the beginning until now, homosexuality, of all things, is the only thing being questioned, and scrutinized? So its homosexuality thats bringing society down? Not the gang killings, rapists, anti-peace groups. And by anti-peace groups im specifically talking about gay haters. You are telling younger generations that its fine to hate, as long as you have a reason for it? so they can grow up to hate people for the color of their skin, their gender. And this is ok? But something as homosexuality is actually teaching tolerance, peace and love for all mankind. And I can honestly say, that I pity the poeple who cant mind their buisness.
ReplyDeleteI never said that I hate homosexuals. But of course, all sins bring society down and there is nothing in what I or Greg have said on this post that implies that we do. The comparrison of homosexuality to race is not valid. Read this post.
ReplyDeleteBet you're gay.
