Ohio College Students React to the Reality of Abortion

Columbus, Ohio based Created Equal is a Pro-Life group that visits a lot of college campuses with their Pro-Life displays depicting the reality of abortion. A lot of Pro-Death advocates despise this approach, probably because the signs are too real, man. I graduated from Ohio University and I'm sorry to say that on of its current students is classless as could be in the following recent video:

Just today Created Equal posted this commentary and another video taken on the campus of Otterbein University.

Columbus, OH – April 23, 2013 – Today, a student at Otterbein University disapproved of our signs and decided to take action by censoring the victims.  This is the third student to resort to this measure this month, which begs the question: Is this the new normal from American college students?

And here another taken on the main campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It shows a deliberate act of vandalism on the part of an obvious Pro-Death advocate and student: 

The reaction of all three women on all three campuses is the same - anger and profanity laced comments at what they perceived as the inappropriateness of the graphic signs. they totally disregarded the right of freedom of speech. Apparently the only acceptable speech on our college campuses is politically correct or leftist approved speech.

What is particularly troublesome (though not surprising considering the apostasy of many main line liberal 'Christian' denominations) is the fact that Otterbein University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The school like many in the U.S. were founded by followers of Christ. If the school founders were alive to see the behavior of the impudent student on their campus - especially her apparent defense of abortion and rejection of free speech - they would close down the school on the spot.

An Exposé on the ‘Religion of Peace’ After Its Part in the Boston Marathon Bombing

The FreedomOutpost.com sent me an excellent article, which included a great video by David Wood explaining Islam’s role in last week’s Boston Marathon Bombing. The name of this cogent article is, “Still Think Islam Is A Religion Of Peace? – You Won’t After Seeing This.” You can read the article by clicking on the title above.

The YouTube video is more than 10 minutes long, but if you want to understand more deeply Islam and Islam in America I encourage you to watch it carefully.

Why would our leaders say things like what the President has said about Islam?

I consider part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

 

David Wood concluded in his video, “Well, If politicians and the (ABC, CNN, Fox, etc. – the Main Stream) media consider it their job to protect Islam from scrutiny, I guess business is a boomin’ (as in Boston Marathon Bombing).

The Boston Marathon Bombing Was an Act of War

The author of the Alternet.org and Salon.org article, “The Boston Bomber Brothers Got the Attention They Wanted, The suspects were nobodies who wanted to spread fear. A citywide lockdown and media hysteria helped them do that,” wrote, “So how should the authorities treat political crimes of this sort?” He referred to the recent terrorist attack as a “political crime.” In response to his article and his comment I penned the following.

  

The Boston Marathon Bombing was a blatant act of Islam-inspired terrorism. It is political only for the fact that Islam is a Political, Militaristic in addition to being a Religious system. The Boston Marathon Bombing was not merely a crime, but an act of war. These two brothers were combatants in this war of Islamic terrorism. They are enemies of the United States. They murdered three and maimed scores of Americans. This act of deliberate terrorism is vastly different than the crimes that occur daily in our overly permissive, gang-infested, welfare plantations led by liberal Democrat overseers in our major metropolitan areas.

Authorities should first recognize the fact that we are at war with Islamists worldwide. Second, we should secure our borders and enforce existing immigration laws. Thirdly, authorities need to be especially watchful to those recent legal or illegal immigrants who travel to Muslim enclaves for possible terrorist training. Fourth, deport any illegal alien who has been proven to be involved with any terrorist group within or outside of the United States.

Until we secure our borders and enforce our existing laws, until we identify and purge our country of illegal immigrants, who have connections to Islamist and other terrorist groups, we should not pursue any new so-called comprehensive immigration reform. We need to get our house in order first and foremost. In other words, no amnesty should be granted at this present critical time. The Boston Marathon Bombing is a wake up call!


This week America and the rest of the world were witnesses to an act of Islamic terrorism. The trial or tribunal that awaits the surviving Boston Marathon Bombing brother Tsarnaev should be quick and if guilty the accused should receive the death penalty. There seems to be a preponderance of evidence and witnesses to the violent act of terror perpetrated on American citizens in Boston.

Abstinence Amendment Vote Today

Read the above article.  Lynn Watchtmann introduced an amendment to Ohio's budget bill that would prevent teachers from distributing contraception on school property and requires them to say that abstinence is the only way to guarantee that a pregnancy will not occur.  The amendment does not ban sex education as many libertines claim.  It only bans what may take place on school property at taxpayer's expense!  Even though the vote has (presumably) already taken place, you can contact your representative to tell him or her that you do not support using taxpayer's money to tell children about what is the most efficient way for them to commit promiscuity.  Hat tip to Representative Lynn Watchtmann for introducing the abstinence amendment.

Iron Lady's Legacy Lives On

I responded to an article on Alternet.org, “Singer Morrissey's Scathing Letter to the Public About Margaret Thatcher: "A Terror Without an Atom of Humanity." The article amounted to a hit piece on one of the greatest world leaders of the 21st century. Mr. or Ms. Morrissey, like many a ‘singer’ in the music world today, probably was so stoned between 1978 through 1990, that they didn’t notice the good Margaret Thatcher did for Britain and the world. Here are my comments to the article… 

First off, who is Morrissey? I have never heard of her or him. I have, however, heard of Lady Thatcher. 

The biggest thing this great woman 'hated' with a just passion was socialism. Socialism had nearly ruined Britain before Mrs. Thatcher time as prime minister. Just like socialism is systematically destroying ('transforming', 'change you can believe in') our once great (but now perilously sliding in a 'progressively' downward spiral) nation with renewed vengeance the past 4 plus years. 

The Morrisseys of the world disliked Thatcher with a passion particularly because she did not accept the socialist utopian line. It has never worked. It never will. She fought it and had some degree of success, to Great Britain's benefit. 

What America now desperately needs is passionate conservative leadership like a Michele Bachmann  or an Allen West could provide. This kind of leader would uncompromisingly fight socialism and return American to some semblance of respect and exceptional-ism for which it was once known.

Among other things, America needs a leader like the Iron Lady, not the candidates the GOP and Media keeps foisting on America like the liberals-in- ‘conservative’-garb John (the moderate maverick) McCain or Willard (thought-I-could-sell-America-that-I’m-conservative) Romney.

A Great Idea ...

Hat tip goes to the Tea Party Nation website, which posted the following article, "Asking Obvious Questions," by Judson Phillips today. It dealt with how to deal with the expansion of government and with its out-of-control spending.

The main point of the article centers around the idea of creating new committees in the U.S. House and Senate that would only have jurisdiction to cut spending, laws, and programs.

This would be an excellent way to counteract the malignant growth and expansion of the federal government.

Are Republicans the Real Racists?

Another Alternet.org article, “Is the GOP Sincere in Denouncing its Bigots? There has been an outcry from some GOP members concerning GOP bigotry. But the sea change may be much less than meets the eye,” makes some controversial allegations that are making weak attempts are refuting the racists and bigots among the membership.

To give the impression that racism and bigotry is rampant in and exclusive to or accepted by the Republican Party is wrong. There is as much or more “routine bigotry” and hatred in the Democrat Party and on the Left toward Christians, conservatives, and TEA Party Participants, whose philosophy and values differ from those of the Left. For example, many on the right and most Republicans believe that trillion dollar deficits are wrong. These deficits essentially amount to generational theft. Republicans are called racist when they choose to support national defense, which is the primary responsibility of government, over ramping up the unaffordable welfare entitlements, which would be better left to the local community and churches.

“Crude race baiting” seems to be a plank in the Democrat Party and the on-going campaign activity of the current occupier of the White House. The instant reaction to opposition to policy or regulations coming out of the current administration is to blame Republican racism.

What party is a really a “prisoner of their party’s racist past”? Wasn’t it the KKK that long time Klan member and supporter Senator Robert Byrd belonged to? What party opposed the Civil Rights Law of 1964?

I contend that people like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson are the biggest race baiters in the country. They make their living keeping the racial pot stirred. The last time I looked these gentlemen are members of the Democrat Party.

Education Reform: Right Ahead or Left Behind?

There was a recent article on Alternet.org, on my ‘favorite’ left-wing website, “Public Schools, Billionaire Agendas: The Threat of the 'Parent Revolution' Campaign The "parent-trigger” movement is being heavily financed by the conservative Walton Family Foundation, one of the nation’s largest anti-union organizations,” that caught my attention. This article caused me to reflect and to react by making the following comments. I repeat them here:

In writing about anyone (including a large majority of American parents and the legions of taxpaying supporters of parental choice and rights in matters of education) who may be opposed to keeping the status quo of our failed government indoctrination centers their reform movement is referred to pejoratively as “seemingly populist crusade.” The children-ignoring teacher unions seek to preserve the status quo. They only seek more union dues and oppose ANY infringement or possible infringement on their gravy train.

Does it matter that the Walton family or anyone of lesser means seeks to support reform for reforms sake? Yes, to Democrat politicos, the NEA, AFT those monopolistic goliaths who rule and ruin he education system. I see nothing wrong with lessening the influence of the tyrannical teacher union and their thuggish tactics (like the Wisconsin teacher protests http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...

The author wrote that the film “Won’t Back Down” ”largely depicts the teachers’ union and school bureaucracy as opponents of change.” That description is more typical, not only in Pittsburgh, but many schools across this country. I just took the time and watched that movie. It was a powerful demonstration of the very thing that parents desire for their children. They do not want the union-first, kids-last mentality that currently runs rampant in our nation.

Instead of putting down the Walton family sponsorship of the reform movement, watch the movie quoted in the article, and see if real change is definitely what is needed today. ‘School Choice’ should be the cry across the U.S., not ‘Keeping the Status Quo’!

The movie should inspire all Americans, but especially parents, grandparents, taxpayers, conservatives, Christians, and all others who love this nation and what it stands for to take action to fix the dysfunctional public education system. If the system is so badly flawed, then maybe it is time to scrap it and start over again with an entirely new approach.

The best method to deal with our broken education system is to let the private sector, the free market, compete without restriction directly with the current system. The current system will either die or improve.
