Imam’s Invocation Is Illustrative

Warner Todd Huston writes that February 4th, 2007 the Democratic National Committee had Husham al-Husainy give the invocation at their winter meeting. Debbie Schlossel reports that this Muslim cleric is a supporter of Hezbollah which is a known terrorist organization.

In his prayer the Imam said:

“We thank you, god to send us your messages through our father Abraham, and Jesus and Mohammad, through you, god, we unite, so guide us to the right spot we wish for peace, equality and help us to stop the war and violence, and oppression and occupation.”

Now who is the “we” in the above prayer? Is it not that militant Islam which al-Husainy represents AND the Democrat Party who invited him to pray? In this prayer they thank god and unite through god. Here the Imam is telling the world that militant Islam and the Democrat Party are one in being allies. “Help us stop the war and violence, and oppression and occupation.” The enemy believes America can’t stand violence so they are being as violent as they can be to get America to bring its Armed Forces home. The Democrats are doing what they can to discourage the President from winning the war and may vote to de-fund the war. Militant Islam and the Democrat Party we can see are working together for the defeat of the United States. This is quite natural since they serve the same god, who is the god of this world, Satan.

How do I know this? Islam teaches that God has no Son. Therefore according to Islam, Jesus could not be the Son of God. Nonetheless, this was the very reason for which Jesus was crucified. The High Priest said, "I adjure you by the Blessed One are you the Son of the Most High?" Jesus answered, “That is correct and you will see me beside the power on high.” The Sanhedrin declared this to be blasphemy and said He should be crucified. Jesus never recanted. The people said, “We have a law and by that law He should die; for being a man He makes Himself God." This then was Jesus' "crime".
