I endorse Thomas
Massie. He is running for Congress in Kentucky ’s 4th
congressional district. This is the seat of the departing Republican congressman Geoff Davis seen in the video above.
Massie is a
Christian.
He believes that
life begins at conception and supports a Constitutional Amendment to ban
abortion and legislation that would overturn Roe v. Wade. He promises to vote against all government
funding of abortion procedures, abortion pills, and embryonic stem cell research
and to vote for defunding Planned Parenthood.
He believes that
marriage should be between one man and one woman and state governments should
not be forced to condone nontraditional marriages established in other states.
He is against corporate welfare, government run healthcare,
healthcare regulations, and burdensome food and farming regulations. He seems to understand the powers of the
federal government are limited to those expressed in the Constitution.
He supports the “penny plan” to reduce the National
Debt. He supports legislation to
achieve a simpler, flatter, fairer tax code.
He believes that at times, America needs to act to defend itself from foreign enemies, but this must be done within the framework of the Constitution and all wars must be formally declared.
Thomas Massie is also endorsed by Ron Paul.
