The following e-mail was sent to the mayor, Ward 13 Councilman and the President of Cleveland City Council in response to news that a new homosexual bath house was being developed near downtown Cleveland.
Dear Mayor Jackson (Cleveland):
As a former Clevelander and one who continues to be interested in its health and well-being, I ask you to step in and do all you can to insure that the Homosexual Bath House is never opened in your great city.
I went to school at CSU and am familiar with that area, wouldn't it be more useful to place a homeless shelter in that area or some other productive entity.
The city is asking for a great amount of trouble if it allows such an establishment to open. There are some very serious health-related issues whenever you have what amounts to a "legalized brothel." There are some serious social problems as well. It will likely attract persons who will take advantage of area children. Please review the following article about the relationship between homosexuality and child abuse.
Please do everything within your power to prohibit that business from opening.
