This proposed South Carolina law about requiring women to look at their baby on an ultrasound image is being called “emotional blackmail” by pro-abortion rights advocates. Passing this law is the same as requiring white supremacists to look at pictures of blacks before lynching them.
However, if this is the best that can be done, so be it. Ephesians 5:13, 14a says, “But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible.”
In the movie “Amazing Grace” there was a scene where William Wilberforce had the people smell the stench of the dead bodies of slaves who had died during their arduous voyage aboard a slave ship. I would not be opposed to bringing the aroma of dead fetuses into the nostrils of all the abortion rights advocates.
That won’t get off that easy at the judgment seat of Christ. They will receive in their own bodies according to what they have done. (II Corinthians 5:10)
