United 93 (2006)

I had a memorable weekend. I heard Phyllis Schlafly speak. I watched the United 93 movie for the first timee. Mrs. Schlafly spoke about illegal aliens, the North American Union and activitst judges, who are ruining our system of justice. The DVD, United 93, covers just an hour in the lives of forty American and four Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001.

Maybe it was our loose borders, our general lax immigration enforcement that allowed the tragedy of 9/11 to occur, do you think? There were many things that contributed to this disaster on that bright, sunny late summer, early fall day.

JIHAD UNLEASHED

United 93 should be required viewing for EVERY American. It give a practical view of the fiendishness of America’s enemy, Islam and the terrorists it produces and supports. Islamic terrorists and many of Islam’s leaders and supporters desire to bring peace to the world, only in an Islamic kind of way, though. Jihad against America had been launched before 9/11/01 and Jihad continues against America after 9/11/01. Jihad will continue until Islam’s rise in America is curtailed and Islamic terrorism is destroyed. It is really an either or proposition. We will never be able to appease, we will never be able to negotiate or reach peace with the Islamic terrorists or with the practitioners of religion of “peace”

On the back cover of the DVD box are these words describing the movie: "A Defining Day In Our History. It’s an event (9/11) that shook the world. Honest, unflinching and profoundly moving, United 93 tells the unforgettable story of the heroic passengers and crew members who prevented the terrorists from carrying out their plans for the fourth hijacked plane on September 11, 2001. As on-ground military and civilian teams scrambled to make sense of the unfolding events, forty people who sat down as strangers found the courage to stand up as one."

IMPRESSIONS

The movie was seen through the eyes of the traffic control headquarters and the airplane’s passengers and crew. The movie effectively went back and forth from the ground to the air, from the helpless observers on the ground to the participant in the real life drama in the air. Overall, the movie was very realistic. The director intentionally or unintentionally captured the real-life appearance and idiosyncrasies of the passengers, flight crew and even the terrorists. All the humanity good and bad oozed out during the final hour of these people lives. The movie should America’s vulnerability to attack. It showed the military’s lack of preparation to deal with such an attack.

America was caught off guard by a daring enemy it did not believe that it had. The Homeland Security Department and Iraq are two of the positive results of this blatant aggression against America.

LESSONS

· Islam is no friend of Christian America. We don’t hear much condemnation by Islamic clerics or Islamic faithful. Does there silence indicates support? Terrorists must be destroyed before they destroy us.

· Maintain constant vigilance. Islam and Islamic terrorists will do anything to gain an advantage and catch America off guard again. Islam and Islamic terrorist friendly regimes are not to be trusted. I do not trust our “friends” the Saudis. They support terrorism, maybe a little more stealthily than Syria or Iran, but just the same through payoff to politicians, educational institutions, etc.

· The friendly skies are not always so friendly.

· When people work together they can almost do anything or stop anything.

· 9/11 was God’s wake-up call to America to mend our wicked ways (abortion, greed, homosexuality, immorality, etc).

· Enforce our immigration laws, close our borders and reject amnesty and profile everyone from any Islamic country, reject the PC, Islamic terrorist supporting evil and insane thinking.

· Immediate discontinuance of teaching of Islam in California schools and elsewhere and make watching United 93 should be mandatory for every public school student until Islamic terrorism is defeated. Predicate funding of schools on this twofold requirement.
