'Hate Crimes' rears its ugly head again . . .

Taking Back the Rainbow

It is now expected that on Wednesday April 22, the full US House Judiciary Committee will vote on H.R. 1913, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009. This bill is anti-Christian and has the intended or unintended purpose of silencing any declaration of the true nature of homosexuality and other sexually perverse behaviors.

Right now there are sufficient laws on the books to protect all Americans equally. What so-called 'hate crime' laws would also do would be to create a class of persons with special priveleges provided to no other Americans. It must be stopped.

The Reality Report – April 16, 2009 – Audit the Fed

For a Free & Independent Media

Here is a 10 minute hard-driving news program with Gary Franchi, the anchor. The news program covers issues not given much attention in the opposition media (ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, PBS, etc.). I have watched several of the Reality Report Shows and have found them to be very educational, timely and useful. Here is an except from the most recent report. It comments on the recent Tea Parties and also talks about the private Federal Reserve System, which is behind much of the economic problems our nation currently faces.

Audit . . . Abolish the Federal Reserve

“. . . the everyday American . . . works so hard 40 . . . 50 . . . 60 hours a week, chasing the American dream . . . Then you have the taxes, just left and right, taking out of out of our pockets, at the cash register, when you go to buy a home, buy a car, and then when you get your paycheck, when you go to pay a bill . . . it is relentless the amount of taxes each American pays every single day.

“And with taxes on the rise, and the dollar decreasing in value everyday, it is no wonder people are upset.

“And there (are) only a few things we can do to alleviate the pressure. I do believe it is going to come to blows . . . I believe that it is time to end the Federal Reserve System.

“This is very popular and commonly held belief among millions of Americans. (Congressman and former Presidential candidate) Ron Paul, for one, has introduced HR 1207, which would introduce an audit of the Federal Reserve System that has (never) been done. The Federal Reserve (bankers sit) on their throne in their ivory palace, and think they are untouchable. Well, the bill currently has over 58 co-sponsors and its gaining more.

“We need you to get out there and support this bill and also join . . . us April 25, which is just a few days from now. (Many) Americans will go to the Federal Reserve Bank and its branch offices and stand there and declare that enough is enough; that we will not take it anymore bailouts; that we will not stand for them printing of more money. Join . . .millions of Americans, who feel the same way.

“Let’s call for an end of the Federal Reserve. Let’s call to some transparency for the Federal Reserve System. Let’s find out where all the banker dollars are going. Let’s find out where who is really getting the payoffs there.

“It starts with an audit, and it is going to end with an audit, because when the American people see it. The American people will say it is over. The party is over Wall Street . . . “

The Federal Reserve is part of the problem. Signs at the recent TEA Party Protest accross America conducted on Tax Day several were calling for the abolishment of the Fed. There is too much power concentrated in the hands of this cabal.

Attack Dog 'Journalism,' Part II

Here is a postscript to the preceding post "Attack Dog 'Journalism," It is an audio conversation between attorney and conservative radio talk show host, and Norm, the 'victim' of the CNN attack dog 'reporter' Susan Roesgen. It sheds further light on the loathsome reporting and one-sided political activism being carried out by much of the opposition media in America today. And they call it reporting the news. LOL

Here is a real demonstration of how extreme the opposition media can get in covering a real news event.

I found the above video in a story, “What CNN Didn't Show of (Activist ‘Reporter’) Roesgen's Chicago Tea Party Interviews," which I read last night on NewsBusters.com. In that article is a link to the full CNN report of the CNN ‘reporters’ original blatantly biased report. The media has clearly become the mouthpiece or public relations arem of the Democratic Party and the White House and should be treated as such.

Remove Activist Judges, part 2

Last week, I discussed the We the People Act, a bill which has been recently reintroduced into the Congress. In that post, I explained how this bill, if passed would remove from the jurisdiction of the federal courts the issues of abortion, sexual orientation, and freedom of religion. I got to thinking about that last one…doesn’t it say in the first amendment, “Congress shall make no law…”. So I reread it:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

And here is the portion of the We the People Act concerning religion:

The Supreme Court of the United States and each Federal court shall not adjudicate any claim involving the laws, regulations, or policies of any State or unit of local government relating to the free exercise or establishment of religion;

The “free exercise” part is OK because only the prohibition of it is mentioned in Amendment 1. (The “no law respecting…” part applies only to the “establishment of religion”). So I would have to conclude that this is a flaw in the bill. Any bill mentioning the establishment of religion is certainly also respecting it, and therefore in clear violation of the first amendment! Sure the original Articles give Congress the authority to restrict the federal courts on these issues as this bill asserts. And certainly the federal courts have absolutely no business ruling on such cases. (If there can be no federal law made concerning the “establishment of religion”, then the federal courts certainly should not interpret any federal law as if it did!) But the first amendment is properly viewed as an additional restriction on congressional authority in this matter beyond what is mentioned Article III section 2.

Does anybody have any additional thoughts on this?

Columbus Tea Party, 4/15/09 P.M., Part 2

Is this what ails America, or is this America?

COLUMBUS, OHIO (AGC News) Despite the cool misty April air 2,500 men, women and children showed up with their signs, their voices and their enthusiasm to make a statement. Last month 250 people rallied at the first Columbus Tea Party. This evening that amount increased ten-fold. People were serious about their displeasure with the President and the 111th Congresses' actions taken these last 100 days. The signs as one speaker, local radio personality Dirk Thompson, indicated, that the signs help up by many in the crowd were the 'teleprompters' that spoke loud and clear - stop the bailouts, stop the stimulus, stop the pork, stop the move to socialism, respect the constitution, and respect future generations by avoiding saddling them to burdensome senseless debt, and preserve the values that made America great in the first place including our Christian heritage.
.
Former Congressman John Kasich spoke for a little less than 10 minutes. Chants of "Run, John, Run" cascaded through the crowd, before and after he spoke. It was obvious many in the crowd want him to replace the liberal darling, liberal spending, and not so reverend, Governor Ted Strickland.
.
Speaker after speaker indicated that this evening's TEA Party Protest/Rally was just the beginning, an early stage of a movement to take back America from the radicals who wrested it away from an apathetic, disengaged electorate. I understand that perhaps the next big event will be an Independence Day Tea Party, which makes a whole lot of sense. In the meantime, it is incumbent upon all of us to do all we can to tell the 'Yes, We Can' crowd by our resistance and activism, 'Not so fast,' and 'No, You Don't!'

Nationwide TEA Parties Calling Congress & the President

Tax & Spending Today Impacts Tomorrow

The Missing Link

We've been short-changed

Columbus Tea Party, 4/15/09 A.M., Part 1

COLUMBUS, OHIO (AGC News) There were two TEA Parties scheduled for Columbus, Ohio today. The first, was a morning session, 9 AM-12:30 PM and the second was scheduled for 6-7:30 PM. Both had different purposes. The first 'party' was more educational and instructive. It was held primarily in the Auditorium of the Downtown Columbus, Ohio Public Library, which advertises itself as the #1 library in the country. It did appear friendly, attractive, clean and inviting. The second TEA Party was the mass demonstration of the growing frustration with the thoughtless, senseless, wasteful government spending and government appropriation of powers that were never meant for it.

Five or six speakers in the morning spoke on the current political, economic and spiritual state of our nation. The speakers included a candidates who ran for office and activists, who tried to pump up the crowd of between 50-100 who attended the morning session. The speakers all exhorted those present to become active and educated about the various issues of the day. One speaker, Dave Daubenmire, really urged the church to assume its role to be a moral leader in society. For the most part, the leadership role, once held by the church and its preachers, has been abdicated. Therefore, sad to say, the church is of little influence in the culture or political arena today. It is also a big reason why the country is in such a woeful state today.

There was literature and materials available before and after the presentations. Following the seminar type of presentations there was a march from the library to the Ohio statehouse. Once at the Statehouse we walked around the mega block and returned to the library. The group that marched in at 1:00 PM was minuscule compared to the crowd that showed up in the evening. See part 2 of the Columbus Tea Party story.

Fremont, Ohio Tea Party, 4/15/09

FREMONT, OHIO T.D. was on hand today to snap the above photos. A cool midst gently fell during the event, a TEA Party Protest/Rally, which was held in the northern Ohio town of Fremont at noon. A group of approximately 100-200 people met at the municipal building to hear the local TEA Party Coordinator, John Roush, speak. He urged the gathered group of the need to trust in God and that nothing will change without His help. The group sang God Bless America at the close of the rally.

Similar rallies were held across America on April 15th to demonstrate the frustration of many people, Democrat, Republican, Independent and Third Parties with what is going on today.

Two Trillion Tons, TEA Party Protest Song

I came across this smashing video as I was searching for information about the TEA Party Protests to be held all across America this Wednesday. Following is a parody of Sixteen Tons as heard on the Lars Larson Show on Westwood One Radio Network. Lyrics by Jim Gossett and Lars Larson. Vocals by David Ford. Produced by Nick Archer.

American Tea Party

Two Trillion Tons

Obama got elected, now there is no end;
The Democrats wanna tax and spend,
Tax and spend us into bankruptcy,
With a tax-cheat runnin’ our Treasury.

You spend two trillion bucks, and what do you get?
No recovery but deeper in debt.
St. Peter better call me ‘fore it’s too late;
I owe my soul to the welfare state!

Obama is a leftist, as he can’t deny;
‘Govern from the center,’ was a great big lie.
Karl Marx Manifesto is his playbook,
And you and me soon will be on the hook.

You spend two trillion bucks, in unsecured cash;
Soon the dollar will be pure trash.
Our bond holders we have to appease;
We owe our soul to the Red Chinese.

Obama and his people are makin’ a mess,
Bernanke’s fired up the printing press,
Printin’ money that don’t exist,
No wonder America is gettin’ (peeved?)

You spend two trillion bucks,
They ain’t done yet!
Obama and Pelosi are pilin’ up the debt.
I work hard for the money, this I don’t deserve . . .
We owe our souls to the Federal Reserve!

An American Tea Party Protest Song

This song is the national rallying cry of the movement against alleged President Soetoro’s (alias Obama's) outrageous government over reaching pork-filled stimulus package. Add to that his ludicrous bloated deficit-building budget. Add to that the Bailouts . . .

For video with lyrics following:

American Tea Party Anthem

by
Lloyd Marcus

Mr President!
Your stimulus is sure to bust
Its just a socialistic scheme
The only thing it will do
Is kill the American Dream

You wanna take from achievers
Somehow you think that’s fair.
And redistribute to those folks
Who won’t get out of their easy chair

We’re havin’ a tea party across this land
If you love this country
Come on and join our band
We’re standin’ up for freedom and liberty
Cause patriots have shown us freedom ain’t free

So when they call you a racist cause you disagree
It just another of their dirty tricks to silence you and me.
I believe in the Constitution and all it stands for.
Anyone who tramples it should be booted out the door.

We’re havin’ a tea party across this land
If you love this country
Come on and join our band
We’re standin’ up for freedom and libertyCause patriots have shown us freedom ain’t free

Now we’re not advocating violence
That’s what the so-called peace crowd do
We’re talkin’ peaceful protest to defend the red, white and blue
We gotta vote out these clowns who don’t love the USA
Who stay up late losing sleep fearing what the French might say

We’re havin’ a tea party across this land
If you love this country
Come on and join our band
We’re standin’ up for freedom and liberty
Cause patriots have shown us freedom ain’t free

We’re havin’ a tea party across this land
If you love this country
Come on and join our band
We’re standin’ up for freedom and liberty
Cause patriots have shown us freedom ain’t free

Freedom ain’t free
(Stand up for America)
Freedom ain’t free(Gotta take a stand)
Freedom ain’t free
(Mr Obama)
Freedom ain’t free
(we work hard for our money)
Freedom ain’t free
(Don’t give it away)
Freedom ain’t free
(Save the day)
Freedom ain’t free
(Don’t go givin’ it away)
Freedom ain’t free
(It ain’t gonna work)
Freedom ain’t free
(Give back our freedom)
Freedom ain’t free
(Give back our liberty)
Freedom ain’t free
(I love my country)

It's TEA time everybody! Do you have a TEA (Party) time?

The reason for the Taxed Enough Already (TEA) Parties

Trillion$ of Rea$on$The Left scoffs at the Tea Party Movement. Some on the Left claim the Tea Party Movement is not spontaneous, but a GOP contrived strategy. How can that be when the organizers of the April 15th Chicago Tea Party will not permit the National Republican Party Chairman, Michael Steele, to speak at their event? Talk about conspiracy nut cases!

The left laughs at the Tea Party Movement. Then there's radical Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, who belittles and tries to marginalize the Tea Party Protest. See also the Newsbusters.com article, "Predictable: MSNBC’s Shuster, Newsweek’s Gross Belittle and Misconstrue Tea Party Efforts."

I think that the Tea Party Movement has gotten the attention of at least some in the Leftist, socialist, Democratic Party's Public Relation/Marketing Arm, the old or opposition media (ABC, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, NBC, PBS, et al.) I believe the movement will also garner the attention of a wayward president and the complicit congress.

So successful will the protests be that it may even frighten to some degree to bring the terrible triumvirate of Reid, Pelosi and the president a little closer to the center. If not than maybe the July 4th Independence Day Tea Party Protests will . . .
