With only four more days until Christmas, I tried to think of some good news to write about for a change. I just couldn't think of any in regard to currents.
Democratic New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine signed into law a bill which recognizes same sex unions. Legalizing civil unions for same sex couples is potentially just as destuctive to the institution of marriage as full blown gay marriage. There are already people from Vermont who have moved to other states who are trying to force the states to give them the same benefits as married couples. With this new law, we can expect these lawsuits to increase.
God hating liberal activists are at it again trying to get "In God We Trust" off of our currency as well as engaging in the usual seasonal Christmas Wars to rid America of all public manger scenes and all other public displays expressing the reason for the season.
I don't see any signs of getting out this rut of commercialism surrounding the Christmas Holiday. I'd rather be doing something lasting to glorify Christ than buying some gifts for people that will eaten or thrown away and forgotten by next year.
Well at least I can still say this:
