World AIDS Day and Some Unsaid Solutions

Yesterday, December 1st, was supposedly World AIDS Day. Is it the politically correct, homosexual activists answer to the environmentalist activists’ Earth Day? There was a big controversy among Christian Conservatives over having the liberal pro-abortionist, pro-homosexual politician U.S. Senator Barrack Obama and the Bush Administration AIDS czar Mark Dybol joining other so-called leaders at Pastor and evangelical leader Rick Warren’s Californian Saddleback Church. Warren held what was billed as a “Global Summit on AIDS and the Chruch”.

I agree with others that it may not be a good idea to join forces with pro-abortionists and pro-same-sex marriage promoters such as Senator Obama or unabashed homosexual Mark Dybol. I believe that Pastor Rick Warren and others in the evangelical community have crossed the line in partnering with the ungodly and the unregenerate.

The real solutions to AIDS and to sin are watered down when we compromise with unbelievers and enemies of God and of righteousness. Abstinence before marriage is the solution, not wholesale condom distribution. To again teach moral absolutes, virtue and character development in all of our public schools is a solution, not continuing the insane indoctrination of moral relativism. Closing all homosexual bath houses in America is a solution, not pandering to homosexuals by ignoring this blatant public health menace. Upholding traditional heterosexual marriage through passage of the Marriage Protection Act or Constitutional Amendment is the solution, not the sanction of same sex “marriage” or civil unions. Above all secular humanistic or other religions or worldviews or philosophies are not the solution, it is only a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. These are the only real solutions that will thwart the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

To his credit, according to the Family Research Center, Pastor Warren “spoke out forcefully in favor of abstinence, monogamy, and church-based care. This is in contrast, he noted, to the strategies of advocating condoms nd delayed sexual activity. “Those strategies will only slow the pandemic,” he said. “I want to stop it.”” If you really want to stop the HIV/AIDS epidemic, then we must implement all of the solutions which I presented above.

Instead of exporting glitzy Hollywood-based and flawed secular humanistic solutions to AIDS such as explicit sex education and more condoms, why not export Judeo-Christian morality and abstinence before marriage, and sanctity of marriage? It is outrageous to me that we have the AIDS czar who is a known homosexual. Homosexuality is not only immoral, unnatural deliberately chosen lifestyle, but it is also one of the major causes for the spread of HIV/AIDS in the United States. I thoroughly disagree with President Bush for permitting Mr. Dybol to serve in this position. It is simply Dybolical!

Maybe we ought to start at home in America and return to those Christ-honoring standards we had when this country was founded and which served us so well for the first 100 or so years of our nation’s existence. Then we can once again be that Shining City on a Hill for all the world to see. We have strayed from away our moral foundation and the AIDS epidemic is but one result of our pushing God and Jesus out of the picture!
