Muslim Crescent
.
It is something that is not being talked about at all in the main stream media, so that alone caught my attention. The article alleges that according Alec Rawls' the author of a new book, "Crescent of Betrayal: Dishonoring the Heroes of Flight 93,” the planned crescent-shaped "memorial to heroes" of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania is nothing less than a huge outdoor mosque that pays homage to Islam and Islamic terrorists.
As I read this incredible allegation, it struck me as absurd and I thought is it possible? Who was financing this memorial? Was it Saudi Arabia? Was this just a big mix-up? Was the author just making things up in order to peddle his book?
The article quoted something Representative and Republican Presidential candidate Tom Tancredo commented in 2005, “Regardless of whether or not the invocation of a Muslim symbol by the memorial designer was intentional or not, it seems that such a symbol is unsuitable for paying appropriate tribute to the heroes of Flight 93 or the ensuing American struggle against radical Islam that their last historic act and the 'Let's Roll' effort has come to symbolize."
The article also quoted Pastor Ron McRae, head of the Bible Anabaptist Church in Jerome, PA which is located 55 miles from Pittsburgh as having said in September of 2005, "This is a memorial to the terrorists who killed those people, not a memorial to the folks who died there innocently,"
This is another case of political correctness run amok. As I read in one of the articles, what an outcry there would be if God's 10 commandments or the cross of Jesus Christ would be part of the memorial. Yet either the intentional or unintentiall use of the Islamic crescent you hear nary a peep.
Read the WND article for yourself and make a comment i you would like.
. . . whose paying for the monument? Arab oil? It sure looks that way. . . TD
ReplyDeleteThe moon in its waning stages is a beautiful image in the sky that God has given us to show us His awesome power. We should not let the Muslims ruin this for us.
ReplyDeleteThe Bible says that the moon rules the night (Genesis 1:16, Psalm 136:9), praises God (Psalm 148:3), and was made for seasons (Psalm 104:19). Jesus said that there would be signs in the moon (Luke 21:25).
The flag of South Carolina has a crescent-shaped moon on it.
This picture doesn’t even look that much like a crescent anyway. It’s not really pointed at the ends. It looks more like an arc (incomplete circle). Sometimes people make a big deal about something that looks like something. Catholics are always saying that they see things that look like the Virgin Mary, for example.
