Until I moved this past Saturday, Representative Paul Gillmor was my Representative in Washington, D.C. He was a true conservative. I appreciated his stands on many current issues that were not necessarily politically correct such as abortion or hate crimes. He stood on principle and often went against the liberal tide, especially since the Democrat take over of Congress this year.
I has saddened to hear the news that he died today. He will be a hard man to replace. May Almighty God provide his family peace, strength and courage to get through this difficult time. May they rest in the knowledge that he did his best and lived by and acted on his conservative principles. We need many more Paul Gillmors in Washington, D.C.
